Standing out on the plains, outside of the Elders Fortress, Brandon had called Basna for a duel. He wanted revenge for his defeat at the Vegeta tournament, and he would not let anything stand in his way this time. No rules, no judge, it was a fight to the finish.
Brandon grinned as he looked over at Basna as he said "Im glad you decided to take me up on my challenge. Wouldnt want to damage your reputation anymore now do ya?" as he smirked to himself as he tried to taunt the Namekian. Granted Brandon was much weaker, but he had more tricks up his sleeve this time.

Basna remained silent. It was an unusual response to such a statement. Basna was a namekian who had trained all his life for a position that suddenly didn’t seem to mean a whole lot to him. But one thing he was lacking was experience. All his battles were spars, but none were so close to death like the one he had witnessed back in Vegeta. He had never seen true war; his nostrils still remembered the acrid smell of death and his mouth could taste the blood and puke that had been forced out of his vowels by the stronger man.
His face was forever scarred as a souvenir of that day and that very same burned face was now staring at Brandon with his only functional eye. He was still injured from his fight; therefore his heavy weight’s strain on his body was practically doubled by his effort to stay afoot. Despite his obviously superior power, Geurin had humbled him both mentally –and physically, to the point that even a rematch from this man seemed like it’d take a toll on him. Certainly, it would take a while before his body was back in full shape, but it would take longer with Basna’s restless attitude and desire to keep training and pushing him. Regardless, there was one thing that would never heal and one that seemed like it wouldn’t.
Superiority? Even that he was beginning to question… What would have Brandon done in his situation? How would he have reacted? Would he have begged for mercy? Would he have begged for his life the same way Basna did? Cry on the soil of foreign land and watch his dignity fly out of the window? Perhaps he had the bigger power, but who had the biggest heart? He clenched his hands and squint at the darkling. How could he ever repair the piece of himself that he had lost? How would people respect him if he no longer respected himself?
“Let’s get over with this quick…” he said, not wanting to waste any more time in such a meaningless spar when he clearly had more important things to solve.

"Ha! Quick for your defeat are we? Ill make sure to savoir the victory!" He said as electrified ice started to cover his body. It was a new trick that Basna would of never seen before, as Brandon transformed into his Inglet form. His eyes glowing red as his power jumped up to new heights that Basna hadnt seen before in teh boy.
He held out his hands as ice covered up his body, as the armour seemed to generate more energy around Brandon, as the boy created two orbs of GREEN Energy, and he launched them at his opponent. If they were to hit, they would seem to try and push the Namekian back.

Again, Basna was unresponsive and gave little attention to the man’s words. He lowered to a defensive position as Brandon went directly to that dark form, but this time with some sort of armor around him. There was a weird vibe emitting from the man this time, something felt different but he couldn’t put his finger on it. Clearly, he was much more determined to win than back then during the tournament. Was his pride hurt so deep?
One of the other reasons why Basna didn’t enjoy his transformation –other than the size- was the fact that he couldn’t just turn it on like a switch, the way others did; the way Brandon just did. No, Basna needed time to gradually heighten his power. Because of this, he was unprepared for the opening attack. Two green orbs of energy whirred towards him, closing the distance relatively fast. His antennae twitched. That’s right… he thought, thinking back to their previous battle and began recalling everything he knew about the man.
Brandon used elementals in his attacks and every color indicated an element. Blue for ice, red for fire, and yellow for lightning –personally the most troublesome one for a namekian; but he had never witnessed a green one. Regardless, he was about to find out. Basna crossed both arms in front of him and braced himself as the green blasts burst into a gust of wind that pushed him back. The first broke his defenses and the second swooshed him away like a piece of misplace paper.
Basna recomposed himself after flying back a few feet and began the power up process. “Alright,” he said. “We’re going straight to the boring part.” His muscles suddenly bulged.
Normally, others would label this as the fun and exciting part, but Basna’s large size gave him a fair advantage he didn’t really like to have –and an annoying disadvantage. But even he could acknowledge that he could not win this battle without his transformation. Hopefully, one day, he’d become as strong as this ‘Geu Rin’ person and not even need to transform. The thought of it just dawned on him and he cringed. To think he was so easily defeated by a man in his ‘base’ form…
His limbs began to expand and grow rapidly, his veins popping at the seams while a single eye kept a steady target on his opponent. Basna grew like he had many times and rose like a skyscraper tearing the very fabric of space with his colossal size. Standing at 10x his original height, he stared down on the puny opponent enveloped in darkness and grimaced. He stomped his feet on the ground, causing a minor earthquake to make Brandon lose balance, and then another stomp trying to crush the little ant under his feet.

Brandon wobbled a bit with the minor earthquake, but his armour had enlarged his feet, which allowed him to stay on them. He smirked under the armour as Basna took his giant Namekian form and tried to squish him. Luckily for Brandon, his armour wasnt just for show as he held his arms up and caught his foot. The armour cracked under the weight of it, but it held, but it wouldnt be able to hold long enough to be invinsible against Basna.
"HA! I knew you would do that!" He said, as the energy in his armour suddenly gathered in his two arms, as he suddenly unleashed the pent up Ice and Electrical energy into a single surge which would course into the Namekian's body. Freeze Shock, Brandons most powerful attack in his arsenal. He hoped that such an attack would make the Namekian stumble, or maybe even fall.

Not so surprisingly, Basna’s feet fell to a halt by the other’s rivaling strength which was able to keep him stale for a few moments. The namekian continued to apply pressure though, it wouldn’t be long before he could no longer withstand Basna’s weights and succumb, ultimately being crushed under his feet and grinded across the ground. But a sharp pain a suddenly felt through the soles of his feet which invaded his body and gradually and quickly spread to the upper levels.
“Argh!” he grunts in pain. Brandon was opening old wounds with this electrifying attack. The ice was also stronger than before. It was amazing; first he was forced to experience the true heat of fires and have his face almost melted off. Now he was experiencing intense cold for the very first time. He could only really describe it as a thousand needles piercing his body –not that it had ever happened, but he imagined that’s how it would. He momentarily lost feeling on his leg as both the cold and electricity have caused them to go numb.
Basna fell. His body lost balance and collapsed backwards onto the ground. “Ugh!” he yelped in pain. The ground beneath him cracked and cratered to make room for his insanely huge body. Dust rose airborne and rolled like clouds outward until dissipating into the air. A powerful gust of wind formed by the fall of his body shook the area and pushed everything away. He's improved... Basna thought. He was gonna have to be more creative than just trying to stomp on his opponents.

Brandon felt his armour fall away, giving him speed and agility again. He smiled as he saw Basna fall to the ground. "Ha, Why didnt I have that when we were in the tournament?" He asked himself, as he felt the gust of wind push him back, but he used that very wind to send himself up into the air.
Hovering above the fallen Namekian, Brandon started to charge up energy as his light blue aura started to flare up. A Glowing ball of energy started to form in his hands, as Yellow, blue and green colour swirled around it, as if he was about to use 3 elements at once. "HA! Hahaha, I will finally have my revenge and annihilate you!" He said, as the energy ball slowly grew larger over time.

“What are you talking about?” Basna asked. Brandon was making no sense. Annihilation? Was he so pitied by his defeat in the tournament that he would go as far as try for Basna’s head? It was even more foolish to think he could. Perhaps that namekian back on earth had overwhelmed Basna. Perhaps he demonstrated that Basna wasn’t as almighty and great as he thought he was. But one thing was for sure, this guy sure as hell wouldn’t be killing him anytime soon.
Basna still didn’t have enough feel on his leg to move again, but it was returning. He squint his eyes and snarled at the man as he floated above him with a maniacal laugh. “Has he lost it?” he thought. An orb of energy was starting to form with a cluster of yellow, blue and green. Basna identified those colors as Lightning, Ice and Wind respectively. He scoffed and launched his enormous hand into the sky to grab Brandon and whip him back into the ground while he recovered, disrupting his attack. There was no way he could possibly evade unless he stopped charging his attack.

Brandon did didnt have time to stop charging and dodge, so he let the slap hit him hard, as he kept the energy stored. His body was thrown to the ground, grating a small crater. The pain was intense, but he was still alive.
He slowly got back up, the ball of energy in his hand still present, as blood dripped down his arm, and down his now torn shirt. Even then, Basna could see something sticking out of te boys arm...A Bone. Basna had broken the boys arm with one hit. "Ill kill you!" He said angrily as he threw the multi-coloured ball of energy at Basna, as an energy sword formed on his good arm, as he ran towards the giant.

Basna got back on his feet and observed as the cloud of debris slowly faded to reveal his opponent. His eyes widened. One of Brandon’s arms had broken and the bone was popping out. It was a gruesome sight. The darkling though, continued to press on and launched that tricolor energy ball at him. He thought the slap would’ve disrupted the flow of energy and makes that technique fade completely, but it seemed Brandon was more resourceful than he thought. A blade of ki formed on his other hand.
“Stop…” he said, his voice deep and all-surrounding as it reverberated throughout a radius from their location. Basna activated his barrier and watched the ball of energy crash and sparkle into infinite colors after burning out and dissipating. During that time, Brandon had made his way towards Basna. He was like an annoying roach he just couldn’t get away from. He snarled and grimaced at the foolish man. They weren’t supposed to be fighting; they were supposed to be heading towards one of the three villages to protect them from this ‘intruder’.
“You fool! You’re going to die!” he warned in an undermining tone. There were no rejuvenation tanks on Namek –they didn’t need it for they were fast healers, but after seeing someone even Guru couldn’t save; perhaps, it was time for them to reconsider and invest in one. But as it stands, there was not a single one on Namek and Vegeta was unaccessible. Basna didn’t know whether there was some kind of time-limit for this healing thing, so he assumed that arm was gone.
Regardless, the stubborn man continued to move forward, determined to take the giant down. So he stomped on the ground once more to cause another earthquake, one stronger than the previous. But how do you deal with roaches? Flies? Any kind of bug or insect you can think of which just keeps running around your limbs and fleeing your punches? Wind…
Following the artificial, ground breaking earthquake, a powerful transparent force of energy rushed from his body and pushed away everything around him; much stronger than a gust of wind for this one was packed with over 100k of power. After that, Basna unleashed a barrage of energy blasts; one after the other with no breath in-between.

Brandon tried to keep his balance through the minor Earthquake again, but failed to keep up since he was a bit woozy already from his blood loss. Damn his Darkling nature for wanting him to get revenge on his defeat. Another gust of wind hit him with such force, it sent him flying back, as he was unable to defend himself against the barrage of energy attacks that suddenly smashed into him. Such force, such intensity. Curse his inability to rationalize when he was angry. Brandon thought he was going to be fine after the barrage, but even during an attack like that, he knew something was horribly wrong. His body felt like it was burning up, and he felt almost all of his strength suddenly leave him. When the explosions had faded from the Namekians attack, he could see the darkling boy on the ground, covered in his black blood. "I-Im....s-sorry..." He said, seeing his vision around him passing away, fading into darkness. He was dying, and very fast. Before the Namekian could react, the darkling prince had died, as it would seem that Basna barrage of attacks was far more powerful then he would of thought at first, as there was a decent crater carved into the boys chest. His heart beat a few more times before it finally stoppped, and elsewhere in the galaxy, the mark on Amaranth Rixoir's wrist would fade away with a cool sensation. Brandon Potter, was dead. (Zenie please :3 Thanks for the thread )

The namekian stood over the fallen man and grimaced. His body gradually shrunk back to normal size and his muscles relaxed. It seemed he failed to judge the extent of his attacks and thus another death to mark such a chaotic time. Touketsuki was being dealt with this very moment, while the saiyans were being eradicated –only the few who left for Touketsuki would live if they don’t die on Kold and now there was some mysterious being causing destruction on Namek.
“You idiot…” he murmured. If anything, Basna felt more shame than grief; shame that a fight like this had to go to such extremes like this; shame that he couldn’t stop the man before it was too late and now he lay lifelessly on the ground of Namekian soil, tarnishing his planet, his name, and his self-respect.
“Rest in peace…” he said, leaving him for a proper burial later.
(Wasn’t supposed to end so soon but meh… xP PL + Heavy Weights)
