Who doesn't love a good fight? (Drexx/Ark)

Drexx's pod touched down quietly on the rolling blue hills of the quite plains of Namek. It had been two days since he had been relaid the communications of the elder of Namek asking for assistance. Who were the ones killing or taking the namekians? Drexx vowed to find out and put a stop to it.

Tara appeared in front of him and shielded her eyes from the glare of the setting sun. Out here on the plains it was hard to imagine anything wrong with the world. It was peaceful. Not a soul moved save the wind.

I wonder what we're looking for? The message seemd to dictate we should head to the Elder's fortress.

There were strong powerlevels coming from the direction Drexx knew the Elders fortress to be from. Then there was another powerlevel coming from the west. It was stronger than the average namekian, but not overly so. Maybe this was the source of the problem.

"There. That might be the source of the problem. If it's not, well maybe they know where to look.

The android rose into the air and made way to the powerlevel. At any case, they may have information on the going ons of Namek.

Up in a plank position Ark would keep himself level, sucking in a deep breath before slowly letting it out. As he exhales his feet would kick off the ground, pushing him up into a handstand. Holding the pose for a moment to make sure he was balance he would then slowly push up onto his finger tips, his digits spreading to equally distribute his weight. With his eyes closed Ark would not move, enjoying the silence of the Namekian plains, the only exception being the occasional gust of wind. With slow, controlled movements he would slowly lift his left hand from the ground, moving to balance solely on his outstretched right arm. It was relaxing to work through his mantra without anyone to bother him or even watch him, solitude could be so pleasant.

Bending the arm at the elbow Ark would lower his face closer to the ground before suddenly shoving against it with the flat of his palm. Adding some of his Ki to the force it would be more than enough to send him slightly up into the air where he would execute a quick half somersault so that when he came back down he would land squarely on his feet. That small flip would also cause his right eyebrow to raise some, noting the small dot in the air… a dot that seemed to be moving towards his general direction.

In his year on Namek only a couple had actually approached him while he was in the plains, and both instances had been a Namekian warrior simply verifying who he was and his intent. From what he had gathered most Namekians were as calm and trusting as him, never seeming to be looking for a fight.

Narrowing his eyes a little to try and see who it was that was coming towards him he couldn’t quite make the individual out yet. Focusing a little he would try to read the ki signature of whatever it was that was coming towards him, but strangely enough he sensed nothing. Hopefully it was just some sort of pod… or something along those lines and not anything that would bother him. Crossing his arms calmly over his chest Ark would simply wait, wondering if his quiet day was about to be ruined.

Drexx pulled up in the air in front of the humanoid looking creature looking him up and down from a safe distance before venturing further. From what the android could tell the creature had just been training, perspiration dotted the other's forehead like condensation on a cold glass. The protector landed softly in the grass in front of the other being, setting down with barely a noise. The creature was either human or Saiyan at first glance, handsome but striking, his eyes a deep purple Drexx had never seen before in either human or Saiyan eyes. The being seemed waiting for him, arms crossed over his chest. If this was the source of the problem on Namek then Orenji should have been able to handle it alone. Something told Drexx that this being wasn't the problem.

"Greetings." Drexx offered a warm greeting. "Are you the source of the trouble in this message?" He would ask bluntly then play the message for the creature. He would get to the bottom of Orenji's transmission. And hopefully this being would be willing to help.


To all those looking for work, planet Namek has come under a possible threat. Individuals will be needed to help the Elite forces on Namek conduct investigations and possibly aid in rescue of a large amount of missing individuals. Also, there is rumors of a known criminal to be present as well, and must be dealt with.

The android would monitor the other's reaction as he listened to the message. If he knew anything about it Drexx would perhaps be able to tell by the other's facial movements or actions. If he knew nothing, perhaps he would be willing to help.

When the figure pulls up and hovers in the air for a moment Ark could tell that he was the focus of the individual’s attention, the human looking up calmly in return. From this distance he could see the man appeared to be a regular human, yet with no apparent Ki signature, something that seemed a bit off, but then again perhaps the man had a way of hiding it. For a moment neither of them would move, taking a measure of each other as another gust of wind rolls across the fields, ruffling their clothing and hair. Ever patient, Ark would wait until the man starts to drop down towards him before allowing a small smile to form on his lips, not thinking the individual to have any malicious intent.

The human would visible relax when a casual greeting is extended to him, not wanting any sort of conflict with this man and not seeing any reason why there might be. Letting his arms drop from in front of his chest Ark would be about to respond with a greeting of his own when the man asks his strange question. Not wanting to be rude Ark would stand and listen to the transmission, not familiar with any of the names or groups listed in it. His confusion would be clear on his face as the message goes on to explain a large amount of individuals are missing and that there has been some sort of contract put out in order to get to the bottom of the issue. Those power levels he had sensed in the East must have something to do with this.

When the message was finally finished the human would shrug slightly. “I am sorry, but have no idea what that message is about, or who it is about. May I ask who you are?” Ark would make sure to keep his tone neutral, not wanting to sound threatening in anyway, but just curious as to who this stranger was.

In all honest Ark wouldn’t be offended if the strange man simply ignored his question and flew off, but he figured he should at least try and be polite. After all it did seem that there was something serious going on, and this one seemed to be looking to work towards a solution to the problem. In the back of his mind though he found a thought that was quickly starting to nag at him. His most recent mediation had brought to him memories of a lesson with Master Diki, a lesson about the right time to go on the offensive, to no longer hang back. Now this stranger had found him with a message about missing Namkeians…could it all be coincidence? For some reason Ark didn’t believe it was all just a random event…how bothersome and he had been having such a relaxing day.

The humanoid's face twisted into confusion after the message played. It was evident that he knew nothing about what was going on. This was clearly not the source of the threat on Namek. If it wasn't him... Well then what was it? There had to be something out there causing the distress. The confusion of the humanoid turned to curiosity it appeared. Drexx was very pleased by the humanoid's curiosity, maybe this meant he was going to help.

"Greetings I am Drexx, android designed to protect. A pleasure to meet you. What is your name? and are you human or Saiyan?"

There was something big going on on Namek, and hopefully this creature would be willing to help. Whatever it was, Drexx would get to the bottom of it. No more innocents would die on Namek on his watch. The android lifted into the air and would turn to face the Elder's fortress.

"Would you be interested in accompanying me to the Elder's Fortress. Whatever this is, Guru would be the one to go to for information."

The android would turn to leave, but something would stop him. A nagging feeling in the back of his mind. He would turn back to the humanoid.

"Whatever... Whoever... this is, it's affecting all of Namek. If you have no interest in helping then I suggest you take your leave, I don't want you to get hurt in the crossfire."

With that the Android would take his leave to Elder's Fortress, and hopefully the humanoid would be close behind.

That explained why Ark could not sense any sort of Ki signature from the man, the man was actually a man…not biologically at least. Androids were not completely unheard of to Ark, although he never met one or then again perhaps he had and simply hadn’t picked up on it. When the android again offers a friendly greeting Ark couldn’t help but smile, he was always up for meeting new individuals, especially interesting ones. The second question would catch him off guard, Human or Saiyan? His purple eyes were quite different, there was no denying that, but he had never been asked if he was a Saiyan before.

“Pleasure to meet you Drexx, the name is Ark Ghiest, and I am most defiantly human. “ *Ark would be about to step forward and offer a hand when the android lifts off the ground again, once more turning to face the East. There had been numerous ki signatures in that direction and it seemed this Drexx thought they would have something to do with the message he had received. Of course that didn’t have to be the case; they could just be visitors of Guru’s. Although not the social butterfly Ark of course knew who Guru was, he had not taken the time to visit the Elder yet.

Arks first reaction to the question of accompanying the android was no, was it really his place to get involved in whatever it was that was happening? Again his last mediation would come back to him, not letting him so easily dismiss the issue. The planet and natives had been kind to him in his year here, never having looked to bother or hinder him so perhaps he could at least investigate what was happening.

“I think I will, although I do hope this message of yours proves to be an over exaggeration.”

The human could appreciate the warning to leave, but he would already be picking up his jacket and slipping it on. Grabbing the rest of his thing he would take off in the air, relatively close as he follows Drexx towards the Elder’s Fortress. Hopefully he could just search around, find some missing Namekians that perhaps wandered off and then return to his peaceful existence.
