A soft humming filled Drexx's ears and a mysterious fog rolled out of seemingly nowhere. Drexx looked around at the others gathered, would they be able to see through this? He doubted it. The advantage would clearly be on the side of the invaders of Namek.
Many things happened at once. The fog rolled in and the advantage went to the invaders. Then they attacked. The Saiyan standing before the pair never stood a chance. Drexx cried out as the Saiyan apparently died. This was not something Drexx could accept, his mouth agape in horror. He had just said that he would not allow them to kill another, and that was the final straw.
The eye-beams left him before he even knew what was happening, his shot aimed directly at the Saiyan who had just killed the young man. The advantage would be Drexx's, they had no way of knowing he was an android, and no way of knowing he could see through the mist. They didn't know he could see them.
And he would use that to his advantage. At the same time his eye-beams shot towards the Saiyan with the orbs he drew the Gun of Black Midas from it's holster on his hip and began charging a blast into it. This would end here. They would end here. No more innocent blood would be spilled. Not if The Protector had anything to say about it.
1 Shot Charged.

Orenji looked at the two as they were talking to each other. Ethar had walked up to them, planing on going with them. Orenji knew that if he went with them, he was going to die, but at the current moment there was nothing he could do.
"there has got to be another way. Why would Ethar go with them? Apparently these two aren't leaving anytime soon. Think, I need to make sure that the elder gets out of here alive. It is still unclear as to who these people are, what they want with Namek , or even who this lady is."[/i]
Orenji looked around to find the elders position, He was going to make his way over there, but something else caught his eye. The female began to twirl her umbrella in her hands, not even a second later lightning cracked across the sky. A strange fog began to fill the town square.
"What the hell is going on? What has she done?"
Orenji's vision became blurred, everyone disappeared from view, he had no idea where they were. Orenji quickly looked around and only say a blurry figure about 3ft to his right. Orenji dropped into a fighting stance waiting for the person to attack, but nothing came. He noticed two white beams with black tint, shoot out of the persons face, assuming they were shot out of the persons eyes. The figure then quickly drew something off of his hip, the item looking like a gun.
"Drexx?"
Orenji couldn't tell if it was Drexx, but he needed to make sure there was no one else around him. Orenji threw up a barrier around himself and made his way over slowly over to the figure.

Lightning danced through the clouded sky, yet there was no rain. Until now Ark had not been completely sure if it was a strange weather anomaly or something more. However, when the strange pink fog rolled in towards the village center he realized how unlikely it was that storm above was natural; the fog sure wasn’t. Unsure of how to proceed the human had no idea if the fog did anything but hinder ones sight as most fog did or something more. Ark didn’t really want to walk into it, not with the power signatures he had felt that were now within it, but what happened next would make his decision for him.
The one power level that he had felt that was actually close to his, slightly below even would suddenly drop, almost disappear. Lavender eyes would try to peer into the thick fog, but he could barely see more than a couple of feet into it. There was no way to tell exactly who that had been, or which side of this growing confrontation that power signature had belonged to. Drexx and Orenji were there, and although he didn’t know them well he did not think they would not go after someone so much weaker than themselves. That meant it had to be the doing of those that were responsible for the disappearances on Namek.
Ark had planned to avoid any fighting, but if someone was indeed in trouble he couldn’t simply hang back, that blood would be on his hands as well. On the other hand how could he contend with those that were responsible for this? The initial power signature that had drawn them to this village was someone he could not even hope to compete with. Trying to focus on the other signatures now he felt what he thought was Orenji’s power raising. If he had felt the drop in that individuals signature it was no doubt those closer had felt it. If they meant to defend Namek they would most likely try to go on the offensive perhaps that would be the distraction Ark needed to try and help.
Taking a deep breath Ark decided he needed to try, heading into the strange pink fog that had surrounded the area. His plan was simple, head towards the village center with the hopes that the fog also hid him from those that would wish him harm. He had no idea what shape the injured individual was in, but if he found him alive he might be able to get him out of there. Hopefully the fog would hide him some.. Ar would hold his breath as he heads for the thickest part of the fog, not sure if it was safe to breathe in, having no idea there was more to the fog then the reduced visibility.

It was strange. Carnel had never seen anything like the fog that suddenly engulfed the area. It caught him by surprise and the glitter to it was distracting as it prevented him from reading the movements behind it as usual. He threw an arm over his face and restricted his breathing, just in case of any inhalation effects it may have. Flight was not wise, as it would make Carnel a target for these two. He would remain in the fog and try his best to resist the fog's effects.
Then there were some blasts. Carnel braced himself as they went off... but they did not hit him. They hit someone else... he could feel the change in energy. Bore blasts came below as well, beams this time visible faintly through the fog.
And as if that wasn't enough, Carnel recived a suden telepathic meage from Nahlin back at the City...
Elder... He heard. Strange creatures have overrun the city... people are dieing...
Carnel listened for more, but it seemed like Nahlin was struggling with the connection. Carnel sent out his own message as well.
Those here who can not help and those in the other villages. I ask yo to return to the Ancient City and help defend it from a danger that has befallen it. And move, quickly!
Afterward, he took his staff in both hands. looking around and keeping his guard up. Where was everyone? Could the enemy see though the fog? He moved in closer to the area where the two had been, charging up a large volt of lightning on his staff.

Those who took to the skies would have little relief. While the fog blanketed the town thickly, lightning flared over head, hitting the ground often. It was obvious that if any reinforcements were to come, they'd have no chance of breaching her lightning, or risk being struck down.
The sweet smell of blood reached her as Tsurei shot at the boy before them. It was a pity, but he would make a beautiful corpse. Aranea took a deep inhale, shuddering at the smell in ecstasy. His blood was familiar. Noran, though with something else mixed in. Curious, she briefly wondered what one of them were doing here. Even if he had not been born of Nor, his name was that of a God. There were ties to her home world there somewhere, and Aranea wasn't happy. She slipped from Tsurei's arms, going through the fog to where Ethar lay. Unlike the rest of them, and even Tsurei, she saw even more clearly through the mist. She breathed it in, side stepping a beam that slashed through it. Through the fog she moved until she stood before Ethar. With a smile, she raised her hand before her.
"Say hello to Aster for me..." she said softly before lightning flew from her fingertips toward his chest with a crackle. With that done, she turned from him, brushing hair from her shoulder with a soft, content sigh. With disinterested eyes, she watched as the cute one shot beams toward her partner. Aranea made no move to stop them, or to warn them. Tsurei could take care of himself. Instead, she made her way toward the elder, intending to finish what she started. There was a reason that her lady had sent her here. The elder was an eyesore, and the head of this little rag tag group. His blood was to spill tonight in her ladies name.
Before the elder she stopped, raising her hand once more. With a flick of her fingers, her lightning flew toward him.

The scent of blood was as intoxicating as the flesh of the woman against his brushing lips, and Tsurei inhaled deeply as the man thrashed upon the ground, his arms askew as his throat piteously mewled for help. The ignorant one had thought the pair peaceful, rational beings, and it had proven to be the gravest mistake he had ever made. The shimmering energy had pierced him as if a needle had been pressed into a bale of hay, the same way Tsurei had wanted to penetrate him only moments before. In one form, he had. Aranea stepped away, finishing the crying thing off and filling the mist with the deliciousness of death.
And the other two flies had decided to attack in those beautiful moments, and Aranea had not been present to absorb either attack. The Saiyan received the brunt of the inaccurate shots, and his handsome face lashed sideways as a beam crashed against his jaw. Those splendid eyes flashed open, blood spewing from the mouth as the inside of the cheek smashed against the teeth. The other attack caught him square in the back, and Tsurei Hiruen stumbled forward.
“Rrrrgh,†the Saiyan growled, angered by the offensive assault and resolving himself that the time for play had come to an abrupt end. These fools would feel the full brunt of Hiruen wrath, and the warrior forced his orbs together as he rose, feeling the energies around him become increasingly violent as he sped himself along the path of Saiyan ascension. The twin weapons shimmered, crackling with new power as they began to power out Blutz waves, and the body of Tsurei coiled as his arm ripped the creation low and his entire form began to unfurl. With the movement, the bright ball was hurled high and even the thick mist could not offer shield against the blinding light as Tsurei Hiruen hissed first with pain and then with ecstasy as his wide eyes naturally shot upward to drink the delicious light of the beloved emulation of a full moon. . .
Saiyans, by necessity, devour a hefty sum of sustenance. Some of it is burned in their day to day activities, for the level at which the typical member of the race operates is far beyond that of normal life. The remainder his stored for such moments, as vitamins, minerals, and liquids that were once compressed within the cells and bound by energies are flooded into the system to multiply the structure of the base being many fold. The formerly humanoid figure assumes a more bestial form, sprouting fur and fang. The Oozaru transformation is a terrifying and painful experience, but out of instinct and lust for the light each and every Saiyan will partake almost automatically.
It was no different for Tsurei Hiruen as eyes, formerly white, glazed over with the bloodiest of reds and his shock of darkness began to lengthen and grow from the back of his neck as the metamorphoses began to overtake every shred of sanity within him and replace it with something much more horrendous. With a shriek of primordial rage and great pain, he grabbed at the ground and soon after ripped into it when nails lengthened into tearing claws. Incisor lengthened into greater canines, the head still lifted toward the light as the body twisted and contorted. Bones broke and reforged again and again, a scream becoming a snarl as the beast rose above the mist and became an automatic attractant to the bolts of Aranea.
The armor and clothing had ripped away from the beast over six stories in height, the eyes as red as the blood that had spilled from Ethar and the fur as dark as night. The Hirozaru was noticeably larger than the typical Oozaru, and terribly violent. . .a thing brought to light as it shuddered while a bolt of lightning touched against the great cranium, but it did not impede the claws from reaching down to grasp the dying man to wrap a powerful hand around it. With crushing force, bones began to pop as it tenderized what was to quickly become something truly monstrous. With a casual toss, the great beast flipped the body into the air and caught it firmly beneath teeth. With a shake, the body was pulverized by lashing force and Tsurei Hiruen swallowed Ethar with a great gulp. The thing would descend into the pit within torso and be dissolved by powerful Saiyan stomach acids within minutes.
Tsurei Hiruen, whom had now assumed the transformation of his people and carried within his own form the horrific tendencies of his clan, had devoured a half-Saiyan with utmost glee as his fur smoldered and his red eyes sought out fresher meals before it realized it would have to use attuned nostrils. . .with a great whiff of air, the Hirozaru caught the scent of a Makaioshin.

With his sight darkening from the loss of blood, Ethar could hardly find the strength to look up, as he heard the woman's voice again, but much closer. He summoned what strength he had, and looked up into her eyes as she spoke to him.
"Say hello to Aster for me..." She said to him, making him confused for a moment. "Who is she..." He started to think, but what happened next was beyond anything he had experienced before. With a flash of light, Ethar felt his entire body suddenly get electrocuted by one of Araena's bolts. She didnt want to keep him, but kill him rather. He was tricked, and his plan to help the people of Namek failed miserably. "NNngh!" He said, biting his lip as the pain ripped through his body.
Fortunately, the pain did not last long for the Noran/Saiyan, as Araena finally zapped the life from his body. And the boys final thoughts were of his mother, and how she could be in danger if this threat on Namek spread to other worlds. But then his final thought turned to a shadow silhouette. A Girl, from what he could tell. Who had a tail, and wielded a bow. Who was this girl? Ethar had never met anyone like that in his time, but that wouldnt matter now, as Ethar's soul had left Namek, and moved to the Afterlife, allowing Ethar to not witness that the Crazy saiyan had transformed, and actually devoured what was left of his body.

Caius saw his beams disperse a minor quantity of the mist as they hurtled, harbingers of his own strength descending like hammers, sputtering cadentially against the Saiyan. His companion was nowhere to be seen, and Caius flicked his eyes around quickly, anticipating a sneak attack, when a small flash deep inside the gas cloud signaled her presence, and he felt whatever wavering life had remained within the cruelly struck down Ethar disappear, his body remaining behind. Caius grimaced, and inside his mind something snapped. He'd come here out of a desire to effect some good, to save lives, to redeem himself for his sins. He wanted to prove he wasn't the ruthless overlord his homeworld had proclaimed him as, he wanted to plant a flag in the uncharted tale of the new, reborn Caius. Gurin had managed to find some salvation before they'd seen each other last, becoming the Earth's hero, and Jorlaxl had also found within him the ability to be his own being, more than a servant of Suki.
Serori had found true love, something that Caius had never thought of, something he hadn't been born with the cognizance of, and whose existence was a mystery to him. His own meditations had made him think he was far, far beyond the capacity to realize such a lofty ambition for himself. The bloodthirst in him, the demonic tendency to subjugate, was within him despite his discombobulation through the fabric of space and time upon his exile. It was too strong for him to consider allowing anyone he wasn't prepared to kill close to him.
What was he allowing to happen here? A repeat of the deeds he'd done in the past. What he'd enabled Touketsuki Yakedo to spread throughout the galaxy. What he'd sworn to to back on. But how could he? How could he stay his hand, how could he sheathe the blade when those who stood diametrically opposed to his ideals would so easily kill those who meant no thread to them? What was the point? Who was he saving, but the villains themselves? This whirled around inside his mind, an audible sixty cycle hum of electricity coursing through the stormy skies, lightning bolts coursing past him, redirected and curved to new destinations by the coursing ki emanating from him. He lowered his arm, the point of his blade sticking out past his leg, curving upwards, reaching over with his other hand to grasp the hilt. He split it into two weapons, which formed themselves into mean axes, bladed on one side, the other side, brute force blunt mace, with spikes a-la meat tenderizer. Heavier, but with more force behind them. His eyes spat fury as the Hiruen's toys spiraled, glowing, coalescing into a familiar technique.
They were thrown into awkward moonlight, and Caius watched as Tsurei became the Ape he'd proved himself to be, body expanding, muscles ripping and growing, claws lengthening, a process Caius had seen before. The intimidation factor of the massive ape would be lost on the demon, who saw nothing but a crazed animal that needed to be put down. Caius laughed, and his own teeth and claws grew out, albeit to a much lesser degree. He entered the state of Makaioken, that state of ascended power that hearkened to his heritage as a true demon. Ethar's body was desecrated, and Caius's laugh reached a crescendo, his own energy coursing through him as he ascended. His hair, already shoulder length, grew out quickly another few inches, becoming more disheveled in the process, as his energy skyrocketed. "Stupid monkey. You'll die like your father before you, and on this day, this day will be the one day I am proud of who brought me this far, Touketsuki Yakedo, and chop another limb off the Hiruen bloodline, and watch it rot on the ground."
Caius held out his arms, the axes extending another two feet, his energy swirling about him, concentrating in his weapons, their integrity enhanced by his demonic power. He slashed about him in a flourish, the flash of ki obscuring the portal he'd opened about him, and he stepped through with a midair pirouette, emerging behind the Hiruen child's massive leg, bringing the blunt end of both of his axes down in a crushing blow. At their terminus, the axes would release the ki concentrated in them, in show of explosive force. How better to put down a monkey than to cripple it first?

His head slowly came to a halt as the sounds, feelings, and smells of battle began to permeate the thick mist that blanketed the village. A terrible death, a sickening crunch, a beastial roar, and many other unnerving sounds echoed through the fog. The smell of death and burnt flesh filled the air along with the mist. The reptiles nose was not unfamiliar with such a smell, but it still troubled him every time it hit his nostrils.
But as his mind was thrown topsy-turvy by all that happened, something broke through the chaos. The sound of the Elder's voice echoed in his mind now, and the rest of his thoughts fell silent by comparison. It was a new order, to go to the Ancient City and try and protect whoever might be left there. Not knowing what lay in the Ancient City, Zig was almost certain that it couldn't be any worse that what was here.
With no certain way to get out of here, he lifted off the ground, rising up through the fog as quickly as he could. The two invaders seemed to have their attention claimed by other issues, and though Zig wanted to help out he knew he was little more than a leaf in the wind compared to these two fighters. And so, if they didn't try and shoot him down before he left, the red alien would rush out of the village and off towards the City.
He would have wished the Elder good luck in dealing with these two, but at the moment words seemed pointless to him. Both sides had expressed their intent and currently it looked like they were on the losing side. Whoever these invaders were, they were strong.
(Exiting thread headed for Ancient City assuming no one tries to stop him.)

Drexx saw his eye-beams slam through the mist and connect with the back of the Saiyan who had killed the young man. He roared with anguish as another attack hit at nearly the same time. The pale grey skinned woman raised her hand at the Elder and launched lighting at the old Namekian. Drexx’s attention was dragged away from what happened with the Elder by the Saiyan’s launching of a familiar technique. Moon Ball.
The android had seen this move in action only once before, but he knew of the dire consequences it brought to a Saiyan, any Saiyan, with a tail. Oozaru. The great ape. A being of chaotic power and relentless destruction. Sure enough the Saiyan who had killed the young man began to change before his very eyes. Then he did something that made the android sick to his stomach, something Drexx would have sworn was impossible.
“No…” The android barely had time to comprehend what was going on when the ape raised the dead body of the boy and ate it, the sound of crunching bones and tearing flesh making the android’s blood run cold.
“You… you monster!” Drexx felt himself slipping into his berserker drive without even thinking. He still didn’t have the power to match the giant ape, but that didn’t matter anymore, what mattered was saving anyone else from suffering such a horrific fate. He raised his gun and fired it straight at the giant ape, a target well over sixty feet tall, he would be sure not to miss though what damage the blast would have would be hard to say.

Orenji continued to walk over to the figure that was only a few feet away from him now. He still had no idea who it was that he was walking towards. The figure hadn't attacked him, his attack went in a different direction, maybe towards the invaders. The mist had begun to dissipate a little, but his vision was still blurry and confused.
"Who is this that i am walking towards. Where did everyone go? I know the invaders are still here i can sense their power signatures. Finding them is a different story. This fog needs to clear soon or we are all going to die."[/i]
Orenji took a few more steps closer to the figure. But was stopped, frozen in his tracks. A huge power began to grow, Orenji didn't know who it was and looked around, but saw no one. Orenji shook his head, cleared his mind and continued to walk at the figure. When he got close enough he could hear the figure's voice.
"You...you monster"
"Drexx thank god its you, i cant see a damn thing in this fog. Do you know where the two invaders are?"
Orenji figured that Drexx might be able to see in teh fog due to the fact he was an android. Orenji decided it was time to transform. he entered his Great Namek form, while at the same time taking off his weights. He was now at full power and ready to fight the two invaders, where ever they were.

Once into the pink mist Ark’s sense of direction would fail him, not sure of what direction he had come from after only several steps. Despite his confusion he would hear the words of the Namekian Elder, requesting that those able or not currently occupied make their way to the Ancient City. Should he try to help here or make his way to the city…could he help here? Stopping in his tracks he would try and sense those that had been in the village center, trying to feel for what he could not see. First he would notice the poor soul that had dropped in power before disappear completely, the individual no doubt having just lost his life. There would be no time to mourn for him now though; the signature he felt next was nothing like the human had ever felt before. The signature that had originally drawn him and his new companions to this village would rise once again, to a level that Ark knew was far beyond him, perhaps even beyond those he had arrived with. Ark had not been sure if he should remain and try to help or make his way to the city, but that decision had just been made for him. There was no way he could compete with the power he had just felt, he hoped Drexx and Orenji would understand.
Still, he had to find his way out of this cursed mist. Their sky was filled with dark clouds and lightning, but perhaps if he was up higher he could see where he was going. Ark’s attention would suddenly be drawn to his side, a flash streaking through the mist, burning away some of the foul substance. It seemed the fighting had indeed commenced, and it was time for him to take his leave. Lifting off the ground he would lift into the air, knowing which direction was up only because his feet had just been planted on the ground, rising up above the thick mist. Soon enough he would be free of it, his eyes widening as he gets his first glimpse of the giant ape. The power he had sensed was from the powerful looking creature, the beast not seeming to care at all for the bolts that struck its muscular frame.
Time to leave indeed Ark thought, hoping that the others would be able to handle this monster. Taking off towards the Ancient city, trying to stay just above the mist so that he would not be struck by any of the lightning strikes, he would notice another heading in that direction. The creature was as new to him as the giant ape was, it’s strange red color unlike any humanoid Ark had seen his short days. Staying behind the other he would not try and draw attention to himself, not sure if this alien was friend or foe. His destination was now the city and if he could escape all off this without drawing any attention to himself Ark would speed off as quickly as he was able.

Carnel steadied his staff as it gathered energy for a powerful blast. And he found his target... the woman stepped through the fog and flicked out her own bolt of lightning towards him. Carnel had little time to think of what to do, as lightning moved at a great speed. But he knew the second her hand had began to raise that it wasn't going to be good.
He had fired back in an attempt to strike her first, but his bolts clashed with hers. After its charge, it appeared as his had pushed hers away quite a bit. But her power was far greater, and the electricity wasn't long coming back towards him.
But electricity could be channeled. And one who's skilled with it can manipulate it to their will. Carnel allowed her bolts to come at him, directly into the staff. Then fired his own bolt into the air out of Antone's range. Her lightning was being routed into the sky and now posed no threat to anyone at the moment. But the staff could only handle the stress of constant energy movement for a short while.
He had to think. He charged a ki blast in his other hand as he moved closer, pushing against the energy. Then, the ki in his free hand began to swirl at a high speed. It began making a whirling noise just before he reached up and fired the High Velocity Blast at the woman. An unusual technique, any impact would have the power of a full forced punch and break her concentration with her lightning.
Then, she would be open for Carnel's now overcharged staff to fire back. That is, if everything went as planned.

He fired his own strike and she sighed. It was cute, him just not rolling over and dying. But really, how long could he last? Bolt after bolt she fired, though he let the brunt of his staff take it all in, shooting it up to the sky. She continued, shooting off bolt after bolt, an endless stream. Aranea could do this all day. Not only did she control and attract lightning, she consumed it. It ran through her veins with her blood, through her every touch. She continued to advance until the Elder sent the ki blast her way.
She took it head on, the punch hit her right in the stomach, causing her to bend slightly at the waist. She stood there for a few minutes, silent. Lightning flashed even harder over head, bolt striking the ground and clearing her mist away in placed. But she didn't seem to care. Her delicately curled horns straightened, lengthening as her gray skin slowly turned darker and darker until it was completely black. Rising her head, her eyes glowed a deep purple.
"You......YOU INSOLENT CUR!! YOU DARE ATTACK ME?!" she yelled. Her hands clenched tight she bent back her head and let loose a shriek. Glass all around the village shattered at her high pitched scream and any who were close to hear would surely loose hearing. Her power level spiked as she shrieked, rising up to 600,000.
