Forbidden Power

To this day, it was simply just a legend. A story like that of "The Golden Warrior" or "Tenshu and Gurin". These were just sold tales told to the young ones for entertainment. But the Gurus of old have passed on the truth.
There was Guru Mori, then Guru Argu. then came Estmon and then Param for a short time. Now Carnel took the place as Guru of Namek. They all were passed on an ancient power. Not only was this power limited to unlocking the hidden potential of a person, but also unlocking the hidden power of something even more amazing... something so powerful, that none could rival it.
Argu seen Mori's use of it, and feared it could draw unwanted attention. Feared it being turned on the people of Namek... or possibly the universe. Its misuse was a very possible thing. And Carnel, along with the other past Guru's all agreed that it should be hidden away... unless it was absolutely necessary to raise the power again.------------------------------------------------
A secluded island off in the middle of the Emerald Ocean. Off the maps, off the grid, too far to be sensed by anyone. The sky was darkness, water flowed violently around the little island, wind blowing hard against the Guru's robes. Carnel stood atop an ancient structure. A round temple like place with seven pillars in a circle. Each pillar held a round stone and in the center was a statue.
A statue of Porunga... the great Dragon.
Carnel thought long and hard about this moment. The ancient Dragon Porunga in the past had been able to grant wishes of almost no extent. Wishes that could crush enemies, grant immortality, raise the dead, and even... restore entire planets to existence. One could understand why this power was so dangerous.
So Guru Argu had found a way to stop the magic of these "Dragon Balls", keeping them inert for years. He gave his own life to do so, the only witness being the next Guru himself. Now Carnel would have to remodel the Dragon Balls. Revive them... and hope they can be used for the good of the universe.
Carnel stood with his eyes closed in front of the statue. It was quite small really. But it would serve its purpose. He took a few moments, followed by a deep breath. Then, he threw his staff aside and thrust out both hands.
His eyes shot open. then, Ancient words came across his tounge...
Acula... Capa-Nara... Poon Porunga!
Carnel's voice boomed. His hands began to glow white and the statue became coated in a matching aura. The winds picked up, swirling around the structure as the waters began to blow with the wind as rain against the Guru's face... into his eyes... He did not even blink. Another deep breath...
Shanala... Por Funga-Goli Sanini... Matala!
The last word trailed off into the sound of energy charging up. The statue glowed white and the seven orbs on each pillar rose up and began to circle. Slow at first. Then the statue turned into a beam of light, firing into the sky with a deafening boom and back down separately onto each orb.
Then they changed. No longer were they just round white stones the size of basket balls. They had turned a clear orange with red gem-like stars inside. These stars ranged from one inside the first ball up to seven inside the last ball. They spun faster then, leaving a trail of white energy behind them until they all blasted off at the same time in seven different directions.
That was the catch. Porunga would not grant a wish until you gathered his seven Dragon Balls and called upon him. Only then could Namek be saved. And their would be not one, but two wishes. The originals granted three, but it made them weak. And he made sure that the dragon would only respond... to the Namekian language.
"It is time. Carnel said to himself. And in one more wave, the Guru vanished into the sky.

((Also, fun trivia, I used the same chant Dendae used in DBZ when he remolded Earth's Dragonballs. Yeah. I am that good. xD))
