"This, and its six counterparts will decide the fate of many innocents in the universe! Gather them, Basna, or you will be doing nothing but aiding in their deaths! Now pull yourself together and head to Crater Lake. One of these seemed to have gone in that direction, but the Black Gi have yet to report in with any impact. Search the water, Basna." And so Basna, or at least a third of him, was finally at Crater Lake like the old geezer had told him to. He could see several Black Gi inspecting the place, but as Carnel had mentioned, none of them bothered to look inside the water. Reason? Unknown for the moment. They were incompetent fools; the majority of their planet was engulfed in water, Basna wouldn’t be surprised if five seventh of those odd balls were under water. Crater Lake was known for being, perhaps, the deepest body of water in all of Namek. The depth might be rather intimidating as it wasn’t the normal emerald hue of the ocean, but a darker and deeper green –almost back color. Basna submersed himself in the lake without giving as much as a word to the others. He was here for a job, not making friends and they certainly had no information he could possibly use. Five meters underwater and it was already difficult to see anything. Most of it seemed completely vacant of life, not a single sound. Basna expected to see a glowing orange sphere, but so far he could see nothing but a green oblivion with no end. It was intimidating. If Basna was another namekian he would have turned tail and run. Every cell in his body told him to retreat, but with an iron will he would continue to descend.

Crater Lake. Created in a horrible accident many years ago when Carnel had a spar with Blaze's true father. Things got out of hand... A Supernova that is. But the two managed to push it off the planet in time.
Now, it was just there. Huge, deep... it did make for a good watering hole and a nice place to swim. Basna, however, thought differently. He just wanted to go in, grab the Dragonball, and leave. If only... it was that easy.
Is it ever?
It came from the dark.

Oblu! Basna cursed, upon witnessing the foul beast which emerged from the shadows and into the dull light particles which managed to reach this far underwater. The beast was gruesome, reptilian-like with a thick armor carapace and scales where there was none. It’s first hostile attack while attempting to swallow the namekian whole with one fell swoop, but Basna propelled himself out of his way just barely scratching the sides of its large and sharp teeth. However, he was caught off guard by the incoming tail of the beast. The fin flapped once and the namekian found himself shoved to an extremity of the barring walls which defined the Crater Lake.
Alright, you want a piece of this!? he exclaimed in thought. Come get it!
Basna propped his hands forward and started charging a single yellow buzzing beam. The water began to boil and bubbles rose towards the surface. Little more than a second later the continuous wave of energy was propelled onward and struck against the thick skull of the approaching monster. Tsk! he whined, thrusting more energy into his beam, but the carapace was indestructible –at least in Basna’s current state. If he hadn’t split himself in three halves, he would have been able to deal with the thing without contest, but the reality was that he was incapable of using his Multi-Form technique; and that lead to the realization that he wouldn’t have enough time to charge his Special Beam Cannon. If there were anything that could penetrate that hulking mass of flesh, it’d be that. But now Basna needed to find an alternative.
He cursed under his breath and pulled away in time before the monster could ram him, instead it rammed against the wall. Basna hoped that might’ve done the trick, but the beast soon turned and revealed a spotless armor with not a single crack in its surface. Things are just never easy around here, are they?
