Ethar knew he was done for back on Namek. There was nothing he could do now. He didnt pay too much attention in school, so he didnt know what to expect, but he didn want to beleive that he was actually dead yet.
"I cant be dead...I cant be...Wait, I can still think for myself? Whats going on?" He thought to himself, as he quickly opened his eyes, and saw the sky above him. "Gyaah!" He said, as he sat up quickly, and started to pat himself on the chest. Feeling no holes, or blood, he became even more confused as he then looked around the area that he was in.
The scenery wasnt like Namek, infact, it was much more peaceful then he had expected. "W-Where am I?" He asked himself as he slowly got up to his feet. "This cant be heaven... Where are all the hot Noran women?"

Heaven, it was the perfect place for a little stroll. Especially when you happened to be looking for a new student to take under your wing to train, this was the exact task Kasai was dealing with. The only problem with that was the fact that he was incredibly picky when he was looking for students. His main three criteria for trying to find someone to train were: strength, resolve, and the need to be knocked down several pegs. I mean what is the point of training someone if they thought they knew everything already? Taking your students down a peg or two was Kasai’s specialty; all you had to do was ask Sohko Masamune about his training. The Saiyan could go on for hours about how insane the training got at times, but he used every little bit of it in his fights. Yes the training was unorthodox, cruel even, but it made his student ten times the warrior than anything Heiwa could produce.
“No…no…by the Kais why would I even consider someone like that?!” Kasai spoke to himself as he continued his stroll through Heaven. Most of the spirits and even some of the lesser kaios that called Heaven home did not recognize Kasai. This was not something that ate him, at least nowhere near what it was. After the years of teaching Sohko Kasai’s ego had come down a fraction, by fraction we are talking like a hundredth of what it used to be. However ever since the drunken Saiyan had left Kasai had not found a worthy student of replacing him.
“That one wouldn’t be able to last two weeks…that one not even three days…if that one could survive four hours it would be a miracle,” Kasai sighed heavily. A kai could only wonder why decent warriors weren’t dying. Then after thinking about that last thought he shook his head in disagreement. Decent warriors died all the time, it was a matter of finding ones with enough potential to return back to life that was the trick.
That was when Kasai happened across a fresh entrant into Heaven that posed some potential for returning back to life. Just by judging his soul the man was half Noran, which fell in Heiwa’s territory, and half Saiyan, which fell smack dab in the middle of Kasai’s territory. He showed that he had some combat experience, obviously he was not a master otherwise he wouldn’t be here.
“Maybe he could take a month of training…worth taking a closer look.” Kasai said as he walked over to the man. As he did though the kid fulfilled the third criteria that Kasai was looking for, he needed to be taken down several pegs. By several Kasai meant several hundred. This was going to be incredibly fun for him.
“Hey! You! What is your name?” Kasai yelled down to the Half Noran Saiyan.

Ethar was still confused as he looked around him. What was he supposed to do now? He couldnt protect anyone now that he was up here.
However his train of throught was interrupted by a voice, asking what his name was. He quickly turned around to see the Major Kai, Kasai, though Ethar had no idea where he was, or who the new person was. So he decided to play it cool, and get ready for anything that might try to take him by surprise.
So he answered "Names Ethar. Who're you?" He replied, as he gave the Kai a quick look over. "And....What are you?" He asked. Nothing in his Noran school said anything about what a Kai was, or what a Kai even looked like. Little did he know that he was looking at the one who would be the person to turn his life around for the best.

Ethar. Not a very powerful name or one that commanded fear but Kasai could work with it. Kasai swayed his weight in a strange manner as he approached the new dead soul. While things still had to be hammered out perhaps he had found someone that could entertain for the time being. If anything he would be enough to take his mind off of what had recently happened in the universe, something that he was none too happy about. Suddenly Kasai disappeared from existence to right up next to Ethar using Blink. The green skinned Western Kaioshin towered over the soul with an examining eye. If he was going to be a prospect of Kasai’s training he had to examine him physically, to see if he would even survive the training.
As Kasai’s eyes glazed over the soul he realized that he was definitely going to have to whip him into shape if there was any hope in establishing a strong contingent that followed the Kaioshin’s orders in the world of the living. The first was going to be the need to ‘dirty’ the kid up. He did not appear to have ever set foot in a battle as his skin was smooth and flawless. It was not a redeemable quality in a fighter, perhaps a pretty boy, but not a fighter. It gave off the impression that he had never fought to the extent where he would throw his body away like a useless husk in order to win the battle. This was something Kasai was going to have to change for sure through example. Kasai had countless scars over his body due to his fighting style where he refused to block any attack but rather counter the attack with one of his own. If this kid was going to fight using blocks he had better head off to train under the pink blob Heiwa.
Kasai leaned in close and sniffed the air around Ethar instantly pulled back in disgust. The kid smelled clean, real warrior must always have the whiff of sweat and blood. Or at least they would if Kasai had his way. Fighters these days never seemed to commit themselves to fighting to the fullest or even training properly. A fact that was becoming painfully obvious by the lack of potential that was in Heaven now.
“So tell me…what is your history with fighting? Any pedigree or accomplishments of note that I should know about?” Kasai asked as he looked at Ethar’s untested body. Training was going to be a living hell for this boy if Kasai had any say over it. “By the way…” Kasai spit a piece of food from his mouth on the ground as he continued to circle Ethar. “How did you die? If you died in some lame ass sissy way then I will just continue on my way. So spill, what killed you?”

Ethar gave Kasai a strange look as the Kai looked him over, and seemed to be put off by his flawless body. When he was asked if he had any experience fighting, he felt insulted. He clenched his fist as he kept his composure, as he replied "I spent over several years on Namek training, blowing up schools, and sending plenty of Namekians to the medical wing in the schools."
When he was asked how he died, he knew it wasnt an honourable death, but he had to tell the truth, as he replied "I was killed by two beings that were many many times my power level. Some crazy Saiyan, and some....Demon chick that can use lightning like anyone can use Ki. Their trickery got the best of me, and if the opportunity presents itself, I will get my revenge!" He said, as he turned away from the kai as he clenched his teeth.
"I may not look like it, But Im pretty powerful, Norans can heal any kind of injury in a matter of hours, or even minutes. Since Im half Noran, I always look flawless in my...manly charms... Helps with the ladies. If you want proof that I can actually fight, you can fight me if you want. Im not half Saiyan for nothing ya know."

If all that was produced after several years on training on Namek in several different schools was what was in front of Kasai’s eyes than he needed to talk with the next Eastern Kaioshin about getting proper teachers out there. What stood before him, based on the power level that Kasai felt, was a lousy excuse for a fighter and the more he examined him the more he was sure there was no potential for him to become stronger. It would take a considerable amount of effort for the half Noran to convince him otherwise. His death while potentially worthy was discredited by his own words. Ethar had told Kasai that it was a pitiful death meaning, he was outclassed to the utmost extreme. Kasai had been spending a semblance of a thought of what was happening on Namek but there was much bigger events happening on Vegeta and Kold that drew his focus away.
Trickery was no excuse for not winning a fight, in fact being a great warrior meant being able to see through trickery at the very first sight of it. Lightning ki? If Ethar had been fooled by a simple difference in fighting styles there was much more work that Kasai had to do than originally thought. The revenge comment saved him to a degree; it was commendable that he would want to find a way to prove himself the stronger against an opponent. However it was also foolhardy to believe that an enemy that easily dispatched you would ever consider much of a threat without years of proper training and fight experience. Otherwise the result will always be the same, the far weaker opponent will only to continue to die.
Then came the words that destroyed any shred of respect that Kasai may have had for the freshly dead soul.
The air of cockiness and disrespect that Ethar displayed toward Kasai was undeniable. Not only did he assume that his pansy pretty boy attitude brought positive attention from females but he outright challenged Kasai to a fight. The only thought that went through Kasai’s mind was, How does this little shit plan to fight me? I am over double his current power level! However between the arrogance and the disrespect Kasai was forced to do what he excelled at.
Kasai looked Ethar up and down quickly. He put his hands on his hips and let out a loud bellow of laughter. He even simulated wiping away tear from his eye. “You know that was funny.” Suddenly Kasai Blinked out of existence.
With another Blink Kasai appeared on the other side of Ethar. As he did Kasai was already throwing a punch with well over 30k pl behind it. Kasai intended to send the pretty boy flying off into the distance starting a process at which Kasai would truly show where Ethar belonged on the totem pole of life. Between the instantaneous movement of Blink, the nature of the sudden attack and the enormous power behind the punch there was almost no way that Ethar would have a chance to react in time to even block it. Even if he did the power would still send him flying just nowhere near as far.
“YOUR PRETTY BOY PANSY ASS THINKS IT CAN STAND TOE TO TOE WITH ME?! THEN PROVE IT YOU PIECE OF SHIT!” Kasai roared with the anger of twenty raging bulls in Spain looking for revenge of its fallen mother. Ethar truly had no idea of the size of the can of worms that he had just opened. There was a reason why Kasai was named to watch over the ever loving warfare race of the Saiyans.

"Funny?! Why yoou..." the Kai had said t him, infuriating him as ihs eyes glazed over in a bloody red colour. But before he could do anything, he saw the kai suddenly vanish from sight. He didnt know if he was gone for good or not, but he suddenly felt a powerful punch hit him. With just 30K Pl behind it, it didnt send him flying, but the impact pushed his back a bit.
Ethar turned to face the Kai. He felt the pain in his back from the punch, but it was nothing that he had already endured on Namek, so he said something that would hopefully confuse the kai, and buy him some time to recover from the punch. "Thank you sir, May I have another?" He taunted with a smirk, though the pain in his back was quite considerable. He wouldnt be able to quickly move for a short bit. But then the boys powerlevel seemed to quadruple, as his figner nails grew long into a point, as his canines also grew long into a sharp point. Ethar had transformed into his powered up Noran form, bringing his PL well above 70K.
"....My Turn!" He said, as several large balls of Ki energy formed in his hands, as he would then toss them at the brutal Kai, but that wasnt the only thing he had done, for after he tossed the several homing Ki Balls, Ethar pulled his hands back to his side, and started to charge up 2 much larger balls of energy.

"Thank you sir, May I have another?"
It was this very cockiness that caused Kasai to laugh to himself again. If the comment was meant to throw Kasai off it failed horribly in fact it only amused him more. To have a worthless piece of shit trying to stand toe to toe with him was like an ant trying to fight foot. He was about to find out that he was boxing with God and that his arms were just too short.
The Western Kaioshin felt the recently dead soul’s power level beginning to rise. He watched as his skin turned into a white pale, like all of the demons that Kasai kept prisoner on his planet whenever they saw Kasai return, his nails grow, to about the size of Jishin’s toe nails when he forgot to clip them after a day, and finally his canines grow. In total Ethar ended up looking like nothing more than a teen novel’s attempt at a vampire. The only thing worth of note was the fact that his power level spiked up to around seventy thousand. Kasai actually just ended up clapping his hands.
“Congratulations, you are as powerful as my last student without a single transformation,” Kasai taunted back.
"....My Turn!"
The half Noran Saiyan said as he launched several balls of ki at Kasai. The Western Kaioshin calmly got down one knee and slammed his fist into the ground. Instantly a fiery aura erupted around Kasai causing anything that was not securely fastened to the ground to fly away in the immediate area and the ground to crack beneath his feet. The balls of ki homed in on Kasai’s location but calmly the Western Kaioshin just stood there and let the balls of ki slam into his aura. Each dissolved harmlessly at just the idle power that was now surrounding Kasai.
“Is that it? Not much of a turn. No wonder you died.” Kasai stated in an unamused voice.
Kasai cracked his neck quickly as he estimated the difference in power level now. Even in his transformed state Ethar was nothing for Kasai. Now instead of being just double his power level, Ethar was only at a quarter of his power. His eyes may be able to pick up his movement at that point but he certainly would not be able react to anything Kasai did.
With a quick step Kasai charged towards the half Noran Saiyan. Things were about to change drastically, this was no longer going to be a fight. This was going to be a beat down to the greatest degree. As Kasai closed in on Ethar he noticed the male trying to form two balls of ki in his hands in an attempt to launch a counter attack. Kasai though, undaunted, pulled his fist back and charged directly at him. Nothing was going to stop the Western Kaioshin then at the last second Kasai Blinked out of existence once again.
This time Kasai stayed out of anywhere close to what Ethar could sense or even see. After a few moments Kasai Blinked back into existence, this time in Ethar’s guard and it could have only inspired fear as the kai barely blinked as he attacked. Kasai with a stoic face threw an uppercut that would no doubt slam into Ethar’s jaw sending him skyward. Kasai poured 200k pl into the one attack. Besides its blinding speed the force behind the attack would no doubt break Ethar’s jaw. Kasai was curious to see how he was fast that Noran healing was because Ethar was going to need it.
After Ethar would be sent skyward Kasai would follow closely at a speed Ethar would not be able to see. Once he was at his peak of flight Kasai would slam his elbow into the back of Ethar with roughly about 150k pl behind it. He would repeat this with various strikes to various spots on Ethar’s body. The Western Kaioshin figured he would toy with the boy before he finished the lesson he was teaching. At the end of it all Kasai would slam Ethar flying back down to the ground with a double axe handle strike to the face with over 200k pl behind it. No doubt the half Noran Saiyan would slam into the ground creating a decent sized crater. After that Kasai would just hang in the sky waiting to see if the teen vampire was going to get back up.

Ethar was about to unleashed his powerful attack at the Kai, who moved at such speeds, it seemed impossible for him to defend himself as his energy that he had been gather was dispersed as he was suddenly sent skywards with a broken jaw bone. The pain was excruciating, as the Ka chased him down, and after a few painful attacks, Ethar was slammed into the ground again.
His body didnt want to move, but he thought to himself "This cant be heaven... Im in hell here...". His body, now in the center of a newly formed crater, finally started to move. He felt some of his healing abilities start their work slowly, as he struggled to get himself up.
However his body failed him, as he collapsed down. The immense power behind Kasai's attacks was horribly over powering, as Ethar finally said "Y-You win..." as he just laid there breathing as best as he cold. His lungs hurt, but he was alive. His body reverted out of its transformed state, but the Noran/Saiyan was a bloodypulp, but still alive.

The ‘fight’ that Ethar had intended to bring to the Western Kaioshin had failed horribly. Not only had he been clearly outclassed by the far greater opponent his body had been severely hurt. With Kasai’s first strike he broke Ethar’s jaw; it was clearly audible as the crack echoed in the kai’s pointy green ears. Perhaps at this point the Noran Saiyan would understand that not only were Kasai’s painful but they trying to prove Kasai’s intent. That was his teaching style, to teach what his students how to rid themselves of their vanities through their daily beatings. The rest of the attacks were nothing more than entertainment to the kai. As the dust cleared Kasai could not help but smile as his fiery energy surrounded his body. The view into the dirt was that of a clearly broken Ethar trying to move. At first there were a few grunts and moans of pain to even make sure that he was still alive. Unfortunately for him Kasai knew how to pull a punch, meaning that he never had intended to even come close to killing the boy. This was his test and he had failed. Instead Ethar was gifted with the sight of Kasai levitating over the field of battle as the victor with the Sun behind his back. In this position Kasai truly looked like the god he was regarded as. Ethar finally managed to stand but only for a second before falling to the ground. Blood seeped from the various cuts he had received from the kai but his Noran healing abilitiy was no match to the damage that had been done. His jaw was horribly shaped as part of it protruded from beneath his skin in a clearly unnatural way. The Noran Saiyan’s rib cage was probably completely shattered, if not most of his ribs broken, breathing was no easy task. But as Kasai looked down and heard the words he had demanded to spoken he decided his training was not over yet. "Y-You win..."Kasai quickly flew down to the where the soul had landed. He was done. He could barely breathe let alone stand. Kasai had won. Now came the punishment for speaking out against a kaioshin in such a manner as Ethar had. The Western Kaioshin grabbed the front lapel of Ethar’s shirt in one hand and lifted him up into the air with ease. “You have dared to speak out against me. Insult my very existence with the words that come out of that broken mouth of yours.” Kasai growled as his power continued to come off of his body, he had yet to power down. “Ethar Luxen, you have proven yourself inadequate to train underneath me. You are no better than the vices that plague you.” Kasai continued. “It is these vices that prevent you from being the warrior that is worthy of standing by my side. I speak to you now with vitriol in my voice for even seeing your disgusting face. You claim to be pretty. You claim to attract the women of your mortal race. This pride, this vanity, this arrogance is unacceptable! Therefore I curse you, as long as you are on this plane of existence or until a Cardinal Kaioshin deems you worthy your ‘looks’ shall be stripped from you. You will be cursed to be ugly until that time to all those that see you and even to your own eyes! Only then can you learn humility!” Kasai roared in impatience to the Noran Saiyan’s face. With a sudden burst of ki from his body in combination of his magic he placed the curse upon Ethar. Using Illusionary Appearance Kasai contorted the very image of Ethar into a hunch backed, grotesque creature that would turn the stomach of any who saw him. Nothing had been done to Ethar physically but rather Kasai tricked his mind into seeing the Kaioshin’s will. Once satisfied with his own work Kasai tossed the boy back down onto the ground with little care. A snap of his fingers caused an entire room of mirrors appeared around them. No doubt Jishin would feel a disturbance in the universe from the disappearance of several of his mirrors. In every reflection of Ethar’s face all he saw was: “When you learn humility maybe then you can be my student,” Kasai stated with absolute resolve. Suddenly he Blinked out of existence, leaving nothing but Ethar to ‘admire’ his own reflection. (Kasai has officially left the thread. From now on you most post your appearance as the picture provided until stated otherwise by one of the Cardinal Kaioshins or until you leave Heaven whichever comes first. Enjoy.) PL please

From his position on his own planet Jishin raised his head as he felt the ripple effect through the ego-force. Kasai had stolen his mirrors, and something truly ugly had been born. His whole body shivered as a coldness swept through him. He rushed into his house and into his hall of mirrors, to find many missing.
"Something is truly truly wrong. MY MIRRORS!!! DAMN IT KASAI!" [/b] For he knew that could be the only culprit. He grumbled as he walked back out onto his planet and sat down in a huff. There would be payback for this. He just didn't know what yet. Maybe something involving trees.
(OOC: Not sticking around as Jishin isn't anywhere close to where Kasai and Ethar were, just felt like I had to post something here, they were my mirrors after all.)

Ethar was grabbed by his shirt and lifted up into the air. He listened to Kasai give him a speech, and heard that he would curse him, rather then letting Ethar train by his side. "Train with you? Why in Asters name would I wanna train with YOU?" He said, and he was actually tempted to actually spit in Kasai's face just for that. But he was suddenly blinded by a bright light, then tossed to the ground.
After the Kai had vanished, and Ethar saw Mirrors everywhere, he saw a horrible monster staring back at him as he did so. "T-The hell is this?! Did I.... no...It cant be! How am I supposed to get a girlfriend now?!" He said, as he clenched his fists, as anger filled him up like a bottling flood. He now vowed to himself that one day, that kai would feel his wrath, and pay for cursing him.
"This IS hell..." He said, as his Ki flared up again, as his aura burst into flame, sending a shockwave of energy into the area around him, making the mirrors shatter, as well as disrupting the illusionary spell that he had been cursed with, as Ethar finally ran out of energy, and passed out cold while his body slowly healed himself back to normal.
An hour had passed before he finally woke up, and while his body was sore, the broken bones had mended, and most of his injuries were gone.
He slowly stood up, and stretched out. Seeing the shattered mirrors everywhere, he quickly checked his face, and felt that everything was where it should be, and not what he had seen in the mirrors reflections. "F-Fuck that was scarey...Almost pissed myself..." He said, as he dusted himself off, and moved out of the crater he was in to a different area of Heaven, or what he thought was hell. He did not want to be anywhere near that area if the Kai came back to see the fruits of his labour.
(PL Please. Light Weights in effect)
(OOC: Negated the illusionary effect as I did not give approval for something like that to be used.)
