A Tides fury (Shin/Open)(Technique)(Complete)

Having found a calm lake in Heaven, Ethar decided that it might of been time to dive deeper into his family's heritage. Taking out his sword, he remembered what his father said about it. It had been passed down in his family, through the females in his family, but that tradition changed when it was given to his father, from his mother.

"I wonder what would happen if I did this..." He said, as he pointed his sword at the lake and focused his ki into the blade. He didnt expect anything to happen, however as he focused his Ki, the sword resonated with the water, causing it to ripple slightly from where the blade was pointed. Ethar was surprised that it was doing something as he flicked his sword up, as water seemed to try and follow it, as the surface peaked up as well.

"Wow, My sword can control water? How interesting is that..." He said as he looked at his ki charged blade with awe.

Shin was exhausting himself with the thoughts of an actual war of the afterlife. Shin was sitting in his meditative style, but only he wasn't meditating. He was simply starting of into the distance until the sound of separating water hit his ear. In the blank darkness that Shin was staring into, the sound of water rang out loud in Shin's ear. Shin's eyes opened and he levitated himself high into the air. He looks down to a familiar faced warrior and sees water gravitate to his sword.

Intrigued by the familiar warrior and his sword, Shin flew down quickly to meet the warrior. Upon landing, Shin knew exactly who the warrior was.

"Ethar, it's nice to see you again. That is a very interesting sword you have there. I would like to see how much you are able to do with the sword. Can you make water swirl around your sword? Would you like to give it a try? I'm pretty sure it wouldn't hurt.

Ethar was startled when he heard a familiar voice nearby, as he whirled around to see Shin again. It almost started to seem like that the Kaioshin was stalking him, but he just shrugged it off as he started to smile at his visitor as he asked him questions referring to his sword and his powers.

"Hey Shin..." He said, as he looked at his sword as the ki energy inside it faded away to nothing. "I dont know what I can do with this sword actually, I just started to experiment. Its a family sword, and Im technically the first male in my family to have it." He said, as he gave the blade a few swings. Its abnormal shininess reflected the suns light around him, as the blade sliced through the air. "My father told me that this sword is enchanted."

Shin looks the sword over and a sword it was indeed. The sword was long, smooth, and obviously sharp. That wasn't what made the sword pop out to Shin though. The sword's handle was no doubt hand made as the blue stones glowed ever so brightly. The sword had engraving that was unique and beautiful as if it was crafted by the kais themselves. A true work of art that Shin laid his eyes upon.

"Started to experiment you say? Well I would greatly appreciated if you experimented a bit more. That sword is very interesting and I may have to attempt creating one myself just to give you sport. A true masterpiece it is and I don't know whether to be happy for you or to be jealous." Shin lets out a soft chuckle at his own comment. "Ethar, do you think you could attempt to move that water one last time? I have an idea, but I wanted to see just how much you can do.

Shin's head began to run wild with ideas as it so often did. He had an idea that would no doubt be difficult, but if Ethar wanted to master the sword than he would bust his ass to master what Shin had in mind. They would have to take it one step at a time though.

Edana wanted to have a relaxing day. The sun was out, and she was sick of laying about her home like a lump of lard. The breeze whipped about her ivory hair. She stepped through the brush and came upon a lake. She recognized a face and sighed heavily.

"Oh, it's you Ethar..." Edana tilted her head to the right, the crimson hues landed on the Kaioshin that flew down next to Ethar. Her wings unfurled, after being tightly tucked against her back.

Respectfully to the newcomer, she bowed her head, "Hello.." She stepped closer to to two males. Her feet were bare, so she was able to feel the gentle grass tickle against her feet. Edana eyed Ethar's sword.

"Is something the matter? A fight perhaps?" Edana gave the other Kaioshin an intense look. She was sure that the newcomer didn't mean any harm, but with her friend Ethar; she never knew what was going to happen next. She cricked her neck and rolled her shoulders with such slightness that it was hardly noticeable.

Ethar shrugged at Shins request, as he aimed the tip of his sword at the water and focused his energy. The energy made his sword glow again as the water started to ripple ,and life up towards the sword in the shape of a snake, as it tried to curl up around the sword.

Ethar tried to keep his concentration as best as he could, before a familiar voice broke it, causing the water snake to lose its form, and fall back into the lake, and over Ethars feet, getting him slightly wet. He lowered his sword and he then turned to see who was the source of the new voice, as he saw Edana, a girl who he had met recently.

"E-Edana? Are you following me or something?" He asked, as his cheeks turned red in colour with a blush as the heavenly beauty was in his sights again. "S-Sorry... Did you come here to relax? Shin and I are just...erm...practicing."

Ethar granted Shin's request as he placed the tip of the sword at the water. A look of pure focus wiped across the face of Ethar as his sword glowed a beautiful whitish blue hue. Small waves starting to flow through the water and soon became lively towards the sword. As the water sprouted forward, it had took the shape of a snake, and just like a snake it attempted to curl around the sword.

"Well would you look at that. I believe he will be able to complete the task I so want to see. If he can truly master the element of water with that sword, his skill will go unmatched if molded right by a cardinal."[/i]

Shin was about to speak, but a voice came out that was unfamiliar. Shin looks to see a figure coming from behind the brush. She was a sight to behold and held Shin flustered. No, it was not because of her obvious immense beauty, but because of what she resembled. He would have to find out more about her due to that fact alone. A kaioshin with their own personal glow and wings that stretched so far and so beautiful. It had been a so long since a kaioshin held that appearance.

She greeted Ethar and made it more than apparent that they knew each other. The snake of pure water fell back into the lake as Ethar appeared to blush while speaking to the kaioshin. It was more than obvious that Ethar had a thing for this kaioshin. She looked at Ethar's sword then back at Shin. "Is something the matter? A fight perhaps?"[/color] Her looks grow into an intense look intense enough to pierce through the toughest armor. Shin decided that this would be the perfect time to use his telepathy on her.

"Are you sure you want to look at me like that? You know nothing about me, you know not of what I'm capable of, and you know nothing of what's going on right now. I advise you to tone down that look on your face. Someone could get the wrong impression from a look like that. If I was Cardinal Kasai then you would be scared to death right about now.[/i]

Shin's words would only be heard by Edana and Ethar would be oblivious to what was going on. Shin's words may rub Edana the wrong way, but that was exactly what he wanted. He wanted to see exactly what she was like when someone spoke to her in such a way. Amidst the silence, Shin flared his whitish red aura for a split second causing the water to gust about them with small droplets wetting them. Now the ball was in Edana's court and Ethar may have a time trying to figure out whats actually going on.

Shin looks at Ethar and proceeds to speak with him.

"Ethar, the element of water is always around you. You shouldn't need to actually be around water to use the power of your sword. I can tell from the snake you created that you can easily master the element of water. Ethar, there is water in the air you breath correct? I want you to attempt to control the water that is in the oxygen that fills our lungs. It may be difficult but if you truly want to master this weapon it is a necessary step."

"Are you sure you want to look at me like that? You know nothing about me, you know not of what I'm capable of, and you know nothing of what's going on right now. I advise you to tone down that look on your face. Someone could get the wrong impression from a look like that. If I was Cardinal Kasai then you would be scared to death right about now. the Kaioshin's thoughts pushed through Edana's concentration on the matter ahead of her. Her reddish eyes fell again onto the Kaioshin in front of her.

"I don't believe I was talking to you.." Edana thought back almost furiously, yet kept her composer. She heard Ethar speak his name and smirked, "Shin.." her lips voiced inaudibly, her seriousness returning. A flash of white and red came from Shin then quickly receded back to him.

A white brow cocked upwards, " I wouldn't do that" Her eyes followed down the Kaioshin's figure, "Shouldn't you be more worried about something else?... teasing, Edana shifted her folded arms closer up under her chest; causing what Ethar called love pillows, to peak just out of her shirt. Edana then cricked her neck and with a short flash, an aura of a delicate, light blue pushed towards Shin then snapped back.

"E-Edana? Are you following me or something?" Ethar's voice caught Edana's attention, "S-Sorry... Did you come here to relax? Shin and I are just...erm...practicing."

She made a face.Why would I follow you, you have gay relations with transsexual beings....What were they called? OH YES! Namekians...The beings with no gender" A hand came to her chin, and she lightly tapped upon it while she thought, "And yes, I suppose I came here to relax..." she looked at him suspiciously, "What do you mean by, "me and Shin are just...erm...practicing" Her face turned a soft pink as she wrapped her arms around herself and squirmed a little, "Wh-where you two...uhm...oh my... she tried to cover her hot cheeks.

Edana's white wings curled close to her while she giggled nervously.

Ethar listened to Shin, as he talked about water in the air, as he had made a good point. "I Guess being a duke from The Water Court on Nor doesnt help, or maybe it does. Though Im not sure if my mother had an ability like this, since this sword has only been used by the women in our family. My father tells me that this is the second time that its been wielded by a male." He said, as he closed his eyes to focus on what Shin asked him to do, but it was Edana's next works that broke his focus.

"For the last time Edana! I am not gay!" He said, as his own cheeks turned a bright red, as he watched her squirm about a tad bit. Listening to her now, his eyes went wide as she was talking about Shin and him 'practicing', so he said "In your dreams Edana. If I were you, Id put those lil fangirl dreams of yours in a safer place. Shin and I are just acquaintances. Hes trying to help me learn to use my blade."

Edana's reaction was incredible. He loved the fire that came from her, but once he heard her insinuate that he was homosexual, Shin simply laughed.

"I can assure you that I am not homosexual. I do not care what you think of me as everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but be careful with that opinion. Some may take offense and a problem may arise. In all honesty, I don't know why he would speak the way he did. Oh well, no use in being upset over something as small as this."

Shin looked over at Ethar and shook his head as it was more than obvious that this person made him nervous. Shin then looks at the kaioshin and nods. He then turns his back to the two with the intentions of leaving, but he wanted to speak to Edana one last time. He used his telepathy once more to intrude in her mind.

"Edana is it? I don't understand why you torment him so. It's more than obvious that he likes you, yet you insist on tormenting him by calling him homosexual. I highly doubt he would be able to get anything from a namekian at all. They aren't sexual beings non whatsoever. It's kinda cute how you mess with him though. It reminds me of the earthlings I watched that are in elementary school. The girl either torments the boy, or the boy torments the girl. Hmm, I guess I'll never understand then. Have fun with your play toy."[/i]

Shin walks off without even saying goodbye to Ethar. It wasn't needed as one can tell when he should leave. The fact that Ethar seemed to struggle to compose himself was more than enough of a hint. Shin takes off leaving a trail of white and red. He looks back and winks at Edana. It was a simple gesture, but he had no clue if she saw it or how she would take it. I guess Shin likes to play games as well.

Ethar watched Shin take off without even saying goodbye. "Is it me? Or are alot of Kaioshins somewhat arrogant around here?" He thought to himself as Shin vanished from sight. He went to ignoring Edana's fangirl remarks about his Sexuality as he turned to face the lake.

"I think I can...." He said to himself, as he focused on his blade, and the water before him. He had to beleive in himself, and his own abilities.

The Water before him started to stir again, as it crept up to his blade. But instead of remaining still this time, Ethar held his blade high up about him, as the water seemed to react even better now, as more and more water built up into a small area before him. "Ha! Thats it!" He said with a smile, as the Water was in striking distance. He slashed his weapon at the water, and as soon as the blade made contact with it, the water exploded and formed into a typhoon that flew off and dissipated in the direction he was swinging.

When he saw what he had done, he stood there jaw open, and in shock. He had begun to learn how to use his swords power to make devastating elemental based attacks. "Heh, Oh This is gonna be fun. I cant wait to try this out in actual combat!" He said with a grin, as he would continue to form water infront of him, and slash at it, allowing him to learn how to create these typhoons of water.

[/li][li]Tidal Sword Attack - By focusing his ki into his enchanted sword, or any sword in his possession, Ethar is able to control the element of water, though with limited effects. Through this power, Ethar is able to charge up water infront of him. If he were to slash it with his blade, the resulting energy would form an single-directional typhoon with limited range. If it were to hit an opponent, it would encase them in the torrential waters, damaging them, as well as disorientating them. However, Water must be physically present in the immediate area for the typhoon effect to take place, as Ethar cannot create the water used in it, but only control it to a certain point. If water is not present in the immediate area, Ethar can use his ki to create a blue colored, crescent shaped beam of energy to use against his opponent.
