In one of the many forests, where ambient sounds of nature were all that was heard, a lone soul was meditating in the center of an opening. Thoughts of his past deeds, mostly good ones, ran through his mind, as he tried to think of exactly why he had failed to protect Namek, and with that, failed to continue protecting his family on Nor.
Taking a deep breath, Ethar slowly opened his eyes and looked up into the sky and he asked himself "Did I die because I was too trusting? Am I... Too nice to even strangers?" as his thoughts turned back to his final moments on Namek. To think that the couple that killed him could be trusting enough to let him into their group was indeed foolish, but if it meant a way to help resolve the situation with the least amount of violence, Ethar would of taken it with his eyes closed.
"Maybe I am...Maybe I need to change like my father suggested..."

“You cannot change Ethar Luxun.”
From thin air, a creature whose very appearance strikes fear in the heart of all things appeared before the young man. Atop his head curled the horns of a ram, whilst his legs resembled those of a satyr. His body was firm and strong, the peak of physical form. All across his sculpted arms and chest, supernal markings glowed an eerie green. From his back sprang demonic wings, each with its share of rips and tears; signs of ancient battle.
“You are bound by your selfishness and your arrogance and are therefore unworthy of change. The mere fact that death did not prove a strong enough catalyst proves you are incapable.”
As he spoke smoke seeped from his nostrils and mouth, whilst ash and soot shot from his lips as spittle. His eyes were aflame, two emeralds lit bathing in an intense green flame. The demon’s power level was just over TWO HUNDRED THOUSAND, nearly four times the creature before him.
“Twist your past in your own mind as you see fit but I have come to take you where you belong; the deepest, darkest depths of hell. A mistake was made and I have been sent to rectify it. Worry not about change, for it will soon come in the form of an eternity of endless agony the likes of which will make you soil yourself.”
Nearly nine feet tall, the behemoth towered over the lone man as he notified him of his new living arrangements with a sickening joy.
“Come now or I will obliterate you not only from this realm but from existence itself.”
The evil creature wished for a fight, for erasing this “insect” would greatly please him.

Ethar jumped in surprise when he heard an ominous voice, as he quickly got to his feet, and faced the source of the voice. From what he saw, it was the very embodiment of evil itself. His greatest opponent ever, as it seemed to be an ancient demon, one whos power was over twice of what he had ever been.
Knowing that its words were meant to put fear into him Ethar just glared at the creature. For he knew that Hell was not where he belong. He had not wronged anyone in his life, as he said "Your foul words will not tempt me monster! I am only dead because I was killed trying to protect my friends from being enslaved! I will fight for the truth, and to stay where I belong! There is a path of goodness in everyone, and I intend to stay on that path!" as his aura flared up, as his eyes tured blood red. His canines and nails grew longer to, as his own power level quadrupled in power.
While it would match the demon that stood before him, he would never give up. Never surrender.
Drawing his enchanted sword, he prepared himself for the most devastating fight he would possibly ever have to partake in. "I might of failed to protect my friends on Namek, But I sure as hell wont fail to help out the Kaioshins here, who have shown me nothing but kindness, from the likes of you!"

The winged devil listened, as the man defended his right to be in Heaven. It was one of his greatest strengths; he could hear the evil in a man as if a second heartbeat. As the man powered up to what the being knew to be his full strength, he wasn’t impressed in the least. At full strength he was barely half of the demon’s, and the foolish creature had only just begun to realize the depths of his power.
“SILENCE!”
He bellowed into the air and as the sound escaped his lips it mixed with the flames which filled his innards. The intense heat would split inches before reaching the mixed blood, and the weight of his words would be felt as the forest around them burned with his anger. Any unfortunate member of Heaven who happened to inhabit the surrounds woods would be subject to his fiery fury.
“Do not dare defend your actions to me you WORM! I have seen all that you did and did not do, coward. To think word would outmatch fist left you smoldering carcass and, ultimately, an ape’s dinner. Do you think me a fool boy? Do you think I cannot see you for what you truly are?”
The being took a deep breath before smiling.
“You reek of weakness boy; the scent of failure permeates from your very soul. You failed on Namek to be anything but a fool, and you will fail here. You’re only path is one of hellfire and brimstone, marked by the blood and bones of all others who opposed my will. This insidious hope you carry with you will be vanquished, and then you will finally see yourself for what you really are. I promise you boy, you will not walk away the same. I will BREAK you.”
Indeed he would not be the same, as his promise was a premonition. One way or another, Ethar Luxun would not leave this fight as he had come into it. A smile riddled with fangs assured the demon’s intentions as he threw his arms to his sides, unleashing a concentric blast of staggering portions; one hundred thousand. Ethar had not the ability to fly nor the time to escape by foot, as the blast was near instantaneous. He could only hope to survive as the explosion would no doubt force him into the fires.

Ethar listened to the demons worse. While most of it was truthful, alot of it reeked of deception, but not the kind Ethar was used to. "We are who we choose to be! People make mistakes and learn from them. Thats what makes us mortal, and that will be your downfall one day demon!" He said in reply, as he saw the Demon executing a potentially devastating attack.
Relying once again on his instincts to save his life, so Ethar threw a curved ball, so to speak, into the demons tactics, as a Shield quickly was thrown up infront of the boy. It wasnt a normal Ki barrier, but more concentrated, and flat. But the shield was angled so it could take more punishment. The attack hit the shield dead on, creating the intended explosion as his shield grew several major cracks in it, but when the smoke of the attack faded, The demon could see that Ethar was not all about Offense.
His Shield faded to repair itself, which would take some time as it took alot of damage. "My Turn!" He said, moving his hands to his sides. Quickly charging up energy, as he then threw his palms forward as the energy combined, then burst into a beam that headed right at him as Ethar yelled the name of his attack. "Dragon Flash Wave!" He said, as the head of his beam formed into the head of a dragon that roared at the demon as it attempted to slam into him.
Granted, being Ethars most powerful attack at that time, He wasnt sure if it was the best attack to use at that time. "I can't lose here.... I wont lose here!" He thought, as his determination made him put even more energy into his beam to make it slightly more damaging.

The demon lowered his tormenting gaze, his body still smoking from the exertion. As he had intended, Ethar had wasted his only defensive technique. It was not his fault he played so perfectly to the creature’s plans; he had made sure that the shield was the first to go. Without it Ethar would have been in no condition to fight. However, the creature of concentrated malice knew everything about how the mixed blood’s fighting style. Every technique in his repertoire had been planned for and would be dealt with in a demeaning fashion. As it was not enough to destroy one’s body; he would destroy him from the inside out.
“With the shield gone, that would mean that his most powerful and over utilized move would be next on the chopping block.”
He mumbled to himself as the Noran/Saiyan hybrid yelled to him. The insect began charging energy in while the demon tried to remember the move’s particular name.
“What was it again? Puppy Clash Wave, no that’s not it-“
“Dragon Flash Wave!”
“That’s it! And look, just as adorable as I remember it. Better take a mental picture for later amusement.”
Holding his hands up, mockingly pretend to hold up a camera, however when he brought his finger down, just as the surging wave neared him, an audible click was heard. The beam traveled straight through the winged beast, slightly unsettling the magical illusion it passed through. The decoy began cackling at the top of his lungs. Beside Ethar Luxun, the true makaioshin would appear with both his hands held out, palms facing Ethar who was still in the midst of his attack.
“Boo.”
Unleashing a wall of crimson ki from his hands, which would immediately envelop Ethar and no doubt send him crashing through countless burning trees, the demon smiled. Almost SEVENTY FIVE THOUSAND power would continue to thrash the hybrid through the flaming forest until he was able to escape its path of utter destruction.
“Now THIS is an energy wave, BOY!”

Ethar was happy his attack hit its target, however when he saw that it was a decoy, he said "What the?!" in shock. Not only was his defensive technique recharging, but he had no way of defending himself against the Makaioshins sneaky attack.
"Agh!" He said, as the large wave of crimson energy slammed into him, and did indeed push him through the burning forest. His body experiencing horrible pain against the burns of the burning forest, and the energy wall, his mind was racing, as he kicked hard off the ground, leaping high into the air as the remains of the energy wall passed by underneath him.
Unable to Fly, Ethar came right back down to the ground. The blast had torn most of his clothing, but still decently covered his body.
Panting, he thought to himself "Damn it, I cant be beaten like this. I cant go to hell... I wanted to meet that Kaioshin with that nifty hairdo...But...This demon.... Why does it feel like hes toying with me?" as once he caught his breath, he got back into his defensive stance.
But then Ethar started to charge his energy again, only with more intensity, as if preparing for something big. "Run home Demon, before I knock you into yesterday! Your kind doesnt belong here!" He said, as energy built up in his hands.

Watching the little mortal break through the burning trees brought some happiness to the creature of pure hatred. Every time his head bounced off the bark of a tree he nearly giggled. A tear of happiness, a rare thing for the demon, dropped from his cheek, falling as acid upon the ground beneath him, dissolving the grass in a hissing steam.
His happiness broke as the boy slipped from of the beam, dropping to the ground. Most of his clothing had been burned away; an undesired effect to be sure. As the boy clutched his knees, breathing deep to regain his composure, the winged demon entered his mind, listening to his pathetic thoughts.
“I AM toying with you BOY because anything more and you would be long dead. After all you couldn’t even beat Yamcha. YAMCHA. Saibamen could kill him for Makaio’s sake! Don’t worry though; I will not eat you afterwards. I don’t like the taste of mixed bloods.”
Then he made a mistake. A fatal mistake. He threatened a demon lord, a being twice his power and with none of his restraint. The move turned his face to a horrifying scowl as he began rising higher into the sky, raising his hands above his head just as the mortal began to amass power.
“You dare, DARE, to threaten HEIKI! You have made your FINAL mistake INSECT! Behold the greatest power in the universe! Watch closely for these are the waning moments of your sad, pathetic life!”
The fires of the forest began to swirl, combining high into the sky above them. A red orb of intense light and power formed as the fire was consumed. Slowly the fields and forests of Heaven began to darken, as their life energy was pulled free in the form of small red droplets, all of it gathering into the growing orb above Heiki .
“Last lesson; WHAT A REAL CHARGED ATTACK LOOKS LIKE!”

'Damn it, He can read minds to?! How the hell can I even hit him if he knows exactly what Im gonna do?!" He said to himself, as he saw the Demon charging up for his own attack. He knew he had to stop the attack before it finished charging, as he gave up charging his own attack, as he cupped his hand together at his side, as a orb of energy was created by combining the energy he already built up.
Without a moments hesitation, he threw his hands foward releasing a beam of energy "Dragon Flash wave!" He said, as the energy transformed into a dragon that roared at Heiki as it attempted to swallow him up. Ethar knew that Heiki had a point about his defeat at the hand of Yamcha, but by the gods, he wasnt going to give up against this demon, no matter how powerful he was.

The boy was smarter than he looked, sounded or overall came across. To wait and charge up his own attack would’ve been foolish and in the end, meaningless, as Heiki’s amassing energy would not only destroy him but all of Heaven if it had been allowed to reach its full potential. Ethar threw his arms forward, once more using his Dragon Flash Wave.
“Smart move miscreant, but it will not save you.”
The winged demon dropped one muscular arm at his side, keeping the other up with a flattened palm. Patiently he waited as the energy wave neared him. Several feet from impact he brought his open palm down so it faced the approaching attack. The orb above his head followed suit, the highly concentrated ball shooting forward.
“Behold true power in action.”
The spherical red ki met the beam head on and continued unabated, abolishing the opposing attack into wisps of energy around it. The menacing move would follow its path right down to Ethar Luxun and beneath its awesome might he would be buried.
"Ashes to ashes... Dust to dust..."

Ethar tried to push every single bit of his energy into his attack to try and push Hiki's own attack back, or even off course so he would survive. Unfortunately the awesome power was too much for Ethar to handle, as the attack hit him dead on.
His body felt like it was on fire, as he let out a cry of pain, as the attacked soon caused him to black out and collapsed to the ground. What happened next, was all up to fate... or who really was behind 'Heiki'. Deep down, in the back of his consciousness, sadness and fear plagued him. How could he protect his family, when he couldnt even protect himself? He wanted to mutter that he was sorry, but his body was completely non responsive to his thoughts. He knew he was done for. Doomed to spend eternity in hell, even though he didnt belong there.

The plump protector appeared moments later, only to find that the mysterious spiritual energy he had felt was gone. It was not the first time this one known as “Heiki” had escaped him. In fact Heiwa had never even caught a glimpse of the demon. It baffled how nearly he missed him every time. His thoughts and eyes were then pulled to a glowing red ball burrowing into Heaven. Beneath it he felt a very faint power level.
“Hold on!”
A moment later he was on the ground, grabbing the mighty ball of life energy with both hands. The burning sensation began in his fingers and continued all the way up his arms, but he did not let his resolve weaken. It was his duty to protect, to defend, and he would see to it that his job was done. Summoning up all his strength he positioned himself over the limp body of a fallen fighter and the twisted version of his most sacred move.
“SERAPH’S SHIELD! KAIO-KEN TIMES EIGHT!”
Balling his hands into fist his red aura surged as a purple translucent shield shot forth from his body until it was a dome which defended both Heiwa and the boy. Using the shield’s dual properties, he both drained energy from the attack and then utilized it as a healing energy for the occupants. He held this pose for nearly a full minute, his teeth inseparable as he clenched them out of sheer concentration. Finally, when the ball was weakened enough, he dropped the shield and plunged both hands into the ball.
“NO HARM SHALL COME TO THIS PLACE!”
He yelled as he pulled his hands out to his sides, tearing the attack asunder. It then shattered into millions of droplets of spiritual energy which Heiwa guided to the surrounding land, reviving the trees and scorched earth. With a well-deserved sigh, the pink pudge turned to the boy, who had been taken out of his critical condition thanks to the shield. However he was not yet out of the park, so to speak, so Heiwa leaned down and placed one hand on his chest and the other he brought before his own face.
CLICK.
And then they were gone, leaving the glorious paradise as it was before evil encroached on its sacred grounds.
