“Where is it? Oh, Where is it?”
The young Kaioshin flipped through the huge pile of books that were lying around, as he maniacally scurried around his massive library, trying to find a book that he had lost a while back, most likely by putting it in the wrong section.
“Which section is it in? Is it in the Non-Fiction Section: Aisle 198467 or Aisle 193467?”
After a few hours of running around, reading each and every cover of the thousands of books about the galaxy, Baka had finally found it. The Kaioshin’s Guide to the Gaxaly. It had been awhile since Baka had read the book, and since he was about to go to a meeting with all the other Kaioshins to discuss galactic affairs, it seemed like a good idea to refresh himself in the history of the galaxy and it’s past Kaoshins. Besides his brother, Kensei, Baka had not met any of the other Kaioshins. Until now, Baka had been to busy either researching the history of the galaxy to better prepare himself for the job, or training to, yet again, better prepare himself for the job. After finding a nice spot in the library that was not covered in books, Baka sat down on the step of a ladder and began to read, laid back against a bookcase, that rose so high in the sky that no one in the universe would ever be able to see all of it. After flipping a page about the North Kaioshins, Baka snapped his fingers, as he began to use his telekinesis to pick up all the books around him and put them back in place.
By the time all the books were put away Baka had read about all the current West, South, and North Kaioshins, along with those who filled their ranks before them. They all seemed like interesting people, all with their own traits and quirks (especially the South Kaioshin), and Baka couldn’t wait to meet them, but he currently had a few other matters to intend to. After using his telekinesis to put The Kaioshin’s Guide to the Gaxaly back in it’s rightful section, Baka quickly went to the front of the library, where he had left his trusty sword, and used the strap to put it around his chest and back, making it have quick and easy access in case he had to arm himself. After checking to see everything was ready to go, Baka quickly left his house, and prepared to check up on his assigned part of the galaxy. Now standing in front of his house, Baka put his right hand in front of him, and slowly turned it into a fist. In a few seconds Baka lifted up his middle finger, and after closing his eyes he began to imagine the entire East Galaxy.
For a long moment, there was only silence. The only thing that moved was the wind which blew across the Eastern Kaioshin's small planet. The young Kaioshin checked up on every part, every section, of his part of the Galaxy, making sure that everything was absolutely safe before he made his depart.
"Everything...is...fine. Nothing has changed..."
Baka open his eyes once more and went into a more casual pose, with his hand on his sword's strap, as he huffed a breath of air. He was supposed to be happy about this...happy that the Eastern Galaxy was peaceful...happy that he didn't have to intervene...but he wasn't. Baka wanted something more to happen, something that would allow him to prove himself worthy of the title he had been given. But for the moment the Eastern Galaxy was safe and peaceful, and that is all Baka was asked to do. After a shot pause, Baka closed his eyes and got into the stance like before, and as his middle finger pointed towards the sky he imagined Heaven, where he saw his brother and someone who was most likely the the Northern Kaioshin waiting for the other Kaioshins to appear. And as Baka put his middle finger down and created a fist, he opened his eyes once again, as he quickly teleported away to Heaven...
