Bright and early, if you could call getting up before the sun does bright or early, Jishin rose from his bed and put on his pink-bunny slippers and slipped into his purple bath-robe. He stretched and admired himself in the mirror, making sure his curl of blonde hair was just right. An hour later he stopped looking at himself in the mirror and shuffled out of his room scratching his hindquarters and letting out a small burp.
He poured himself a steaming cup of kai-brand coffee, downing it in one gulp, and then another. He would need all the energy he could get. With a wave a trumpet appeared in his hand, he set down the coffee cup freeing the other hand, and with a nod a megaphone appeared. He walked into the hallway leading to the rooms Ericnox and Maguz slept in. With a smirk their doors flung open smacking hard against the walls. He blew into the trumpet, a beautiful symphony of music poured out, reaching almost ear-shattering levels as the noise made its way through the megaphone.
They would be up quickly, no doubt, the noise all but impossible to sleep through. He shuffled out of the room and into the bright-sunlight of his small world. The sun had come winked its way up over the horizon while the sexiest kai in the universe had been sleeping. He nodded politely to the sun, who nodded back, making Jishin think Kasai had exchanged his coffee with that damn alcohol he kept on hand. He’d get him back for that one, but with a wave he expunged the toxins from his body. Jishin’s body was a temple, and he planned to keep it that way.
“Hmmm… how to train them today.” [/b] He was uncertain of what he was going to do, until a idea hit him like a lightning bolt, a glowing light bulb appearing over his head. He looked up at it in confusion.
“That’s never happened before....” [/b] He reached up and yanked the cord, turning the light bulb off. But the idea remained. It would be a long day on the tiny world of his, and as soon as his students got their lazy asses out of bed they would begin. Jishin smiled. It was good to be a kai.

After the feast, Maguz had wondered back to his room. Jishin had made sure it was comfortable, but as Maguz laid back into his bed, he realized the idea of sleep was just that. An idea. He did not want to waste time sleeping. He was ready to train. He quickly rose from his bed, and left his room. Heading down the hallways, he was quick to find the exit, even in the dark.
Stepping foot into the grass of the outside, a smile slide over Maguz's face. He had to admit that he already enjoyed being on this tiny planet; even though the gravity still bogged him down. Tonight he would conquire that.
Raising slowly into the air, Maguz would stay three feet off the ground. This would help with two things, Ki controll, and the gravity. He would teach himself to concentrate on flying while practicing his melee moves.
Kick, punch, jab. He began attacking an invisible opponent. His short arms seemed to move slowly under the moon light. Right hook, left, uppercut. As he trained, his speed increased. He was the odd man out here. He was at a disadvantage due to his lack of ki and gravity experience. And he knew it.
As the hours past, and sweat puddled under the ground beneath him, Maguz began getting the hang of it. The pressure on his shoulder would lessen. And soon, he could not feel it at all. Dropping to the ground after the full night, he panted lightly. He had accomplished what he'd set out to do.
With a snap of his fingers, a new cloak appeared over his shoulders, replacing the wet one that he'd worn while training. A second snap and a bottle of water appeared in his hand, which he drank quickly. It seemed his training had also increased his itsm materialization skill, which brought a smile to his face.
He was brought out of his happiness by the sound of loud trumpets. Jumpin to his feet, he looked up to the sky. He had trained all night, and hadn't even realized it! As he slowly caught his breath, he began to walk towards where he could feel Jishin's energy. Though Maguz felt a little tired, his "hibernation" in Heaven had helped him. It was like taking a long nap, then jogging for an hour. The burn in his muscles remained, but he was warmed up, and ready to go.
As his eyes set on Jishin, he smiled warmly, bowing as he beared him, "Did you sleep well?" he asked, hoping the Kai would not realize he hadn't been in his bed all night. He was not sure how Jishin would react to him training behind his back. The Kai seemed like he might be the kind of person to be hurt by that, but that was not an intention of Maguz as all.

The night seemed to pass quickly. Eric had to open the window to let the air in, to feel the breeze and help him relax. When rest did finally arrive to him, he had dreams of the end of Vegeta, the end of his second him. His own death still stung in his heart and mind. It was still real enough to him that it caused him to wake up halfway through the night, having to get out of the bed and slip out of the house.
He took to the skies for a few hours, always reaching back to touch his wings to really make sure they still existed. A smile forms on his lips, each time as he took several laps over the world. It wasn't much for a world, but it was still enjoyable to do, still enough to help him relax again. He didn't go back to his room, instead landing on the back of the house and spreading his wings. His eyes closed and returned to sleeping, finally able to.
When the horns blared and the noise all screamed out of everything. He jumped off the back of the house and landed near the Kaio. Pulling off his armor, he set it to one side, not needing it for training at all and rolling up his sleeves. His mind wandered as to what he would make them do on this day.
"Ready for the morning." He says popping his neck and starting his morning stretching if nothing else. "I am."

Jishin smiled as his students gathered about him. It was clear the two had been out and about during the night. It didn’t bother Jishin at all; in fact he had expected it. The two were on a strange new world for the very first time. It was only natural to want to explore its many areas, to test its nuances, and most importantly get accustomed to the gravity.
“I slept very well thank you. I can only believe you didn’t. I like your new cloak.” [/b] The Kai said, patting his adopted son on the shoulder, no doubt startling Maguz with his knowledge of his night-time activities. Jishin wasn’t upset or hurt by his students training, and in fact encouraged it. If they wanted to train twenty four – seven so to speak, He would allow it and even encourage it.
With a wave of his hand two tall blocks appeared on the planet in front of him. They were blocks of a metal designed by the kai, something enchanted to try his students.
“Today, as your first task, you are going to carve your heart’s desire in the blocks.” [/b]
Chisels appeared in front of them, Jishin chuckled knowing full well that the chisels weren’t going to work on the metal. No they would have to use their own power. The blocks would reveal their hearts desire, letting the Kai know more about each of his students.

“I slept very well thank you. I can only believe you didn’t. I like your new cloak," Jishin told them, placing a hand on Maguz's shoulder. Though he had tried to hide it, it was very obvious that the Kai knew. And why wouldn't he? This was his planet, after all. Maguz gave the Kai a troubled look, before he began, giving the two the task for today.
With a wave, two blocks appeared in front of them, “Today, as your first task, you are going to carve your heart’s desire in the blocks.” Chisels appeared in front of them, and Jishin let out a small chuckle.
Maguz asked himself what the Kai might be up to, having caught the chuckle. As he looked down to the chisel, he was lifted off the ground, Maguz using his telekinesis. The chisel gently tapped at the metal in front, as if searching for a place to start. As it picked it's spot, Maguz then realized he would need to strike it. With a snap of an arm under his cloak, a large hammer appeared, floating next to the chisel. It reared back and struck the chisel with such force, it broke.
Not the metal, but the chisel and hammer. The two fell to the ground in millions of tiny pieces. Boy, was Maguz happy it was not him physically who struck the chisel. A smile slid over his face as he looked the metal over once more. It was as he was inspecting it when it hit him. Jishin had said heart's desire. That would mean that the block would reavel what Maguz and Ericnox wanted most. This scared Maguz for one fact. He was evil; or used to be. What if the block revealed that he wanted domination, power, or to destroy? If the Kai saw this, he woupd surely stop training him.
As sweat now dripped from Maguz's forehead, hemight have looked quite puzzled, staring into the block, however his thoughts were not on the metal. They were on himself. He wondered his own intentions, his own desires. He didn't know what it would be that the block would reveal.

It came to him as no real surprise that a Kaio had known he went outside, wandered the world and returned. It was somewhat his very nature to be free and out in the open. A smile formed on his lips when he saw the blocks appear and listening to the morning voices of the pair.
His mind was already wondering what these blocks would be used for... Perhaps attempting to break or lif---
With a wave, two blocks appeared in front of them, “Today, as your first task, you are going to carve your heart’s desire in the blocks.” Chisels appeared in front of them, and Jishin let out a small chuckle.
Or perhaps it was time for arts and crafts... Eric really didn't understand why he was being given a chisel. Maguz formed his hammer and Eric felt a little jealous, at least until the hammer and chisel shattered and fell to the ground.
"Well... That answers that question." He says, laying the chisel at his feet. He wasn't going to throw it, the gravity of the world would make that disastrous. Looking to the block, he wondered what truths it would show him. If it would simply show his desire to be a father on a world that he doesn't need to fight in any more. Would it show this or something hidden away? He wouldn't know until the work was finished. That's the thing about artwork from the heart, you never know until it's done.
Closing his eyes, he walks up to the block and places his hands upon it. A deep exhale followed as he started to work his ki into his arms, hands, and then into the block. He didn't know if this would start to shape it, but he left his heart and ki go into it, not letting his mind work into the crafting just yet.

What would each of his students blocks show? Jishin honestly didn’t know, whenever he did this little exercise personally it always just turned out to be a statue of himself. It was no wonder they dotted his little planet. He wondered what his son and his angel would show him when they themselves finally got the block to show them, would they surprise him? Would they surprise themselves?
Maguz was the first to try the chisel, it exploded with force when struck with the hammer he had materialized. That obviously wasn’t going to work. The blocks were not a mere metal, they were heart-metal, an alloy of the sexiest kais’ own devising. You could only work the metal if you used your heart, though how was tricky.
Jishin began to feel worry coming from Maguz. Why? What did his adopted child have to hide? Perhaps it had something to do with why he had been in the stump…
He also felt hesitation coming from Ericnox. Why this training? They would ask. What did this accomplish? What does this train our bodies for? But there was so much more to Jishin’s training than that. He not only wanted to train them physically, but mentally and yes even emotionally. They needed to be strong in all of these areas in order to be the warriors and protectors he knew they could be.
Ericnox seemed to figure it out first. He walked up to the block and put his hands to it. He could feel Ericnox beginning to pour his heart into it. The block started to shape, though Jishin could not yet see what it was going to be, but he was getting it. He hoped Maguz would be able to let his heart free into the heart-metal as well.

Maguz could feel Jishin's eyes at his back. They burned with hot intensity as he watched. This made the small wizard even more nervous. Glancing to Ericnox, he watched the boy pump his ki into the metal. That would be easy, so Maguz doubted it would work, but as he watched the metal begin to form, his eyes widened.
Perhaps this was a ki exercise. Placing a hand on the block, he began to channel his ki into it. As it began to flow out, his block did not shape. This was beginning to frustrate him. The anger filled him, and his hands formed a ki blast, which exploded between him and the metal, singeing Maguz's face, and burning his hands. He jumped back for the pain and cursed, looking at his palms.
Blood slowly dripped to the ground as he looked to the metal and back to his hands. He did what Ericnox had done. Why was it not working? What was he missing. This only further filled his frustration as he pounded a fist into the dewy grass, gritting his teeth. There had to be more to it than just ki. Perhaps a punch?
Filling his hand with ki, he reared back, cocking his arm for a mighty punch. As he stepped forward, he threw all his weight into it, his fist colliding with a loud crack. But it was not the metal. Maguz gritted his teeth as all three of his hands grabbed the hand he'd punched with. It was visibly broken, and a few bones poked through his pale blue skin. Blood dripped from his hand as well as his gums as he bit into his own mouth.
How could he let his rage overcome him? He had to calm down. The pain was more than overwhelming, and tears dripped from Maguz eyes. He'd never been in so much pain. Even his own death had seemed swift and merciful compared to such pain. But he couldn't let that get to him. As he sat back in the ground, he stared into the rock, seeing his own reflection. Instantly he felt so stupid.
Rage is an emotion. It makes you act irrational. My actions were not that of a level headed person. Taking a staggered deep break, he materialized a cloth, with he bound his wounds in. He then attempted to calm down as he watched Ericnox work some more. The devotion in his eyes burned. He was going to get this. He wanted no hints. He would shape that stone.

"Our change comes from the heart. It's from within our very souls. It's more than a simple increase, it's part of us." His fathers words echoing in his mind as he pours his ki back into it the block of metal. His wings started to glow as he worked himself into his Golden Heart transformation, his ki still pouring into the heart metal.
This heart metal was an odd thing, able to resist physical attacks of any kind, but when exposed to ki from the heart, it melted and shifted into what held the person's heart the deepest. Eric continues to work his ki into the block, allowing it to take shape.
And take shape it did, melting and reforming in spots, to allow it take full shape. As Eric stepped back, the completed statue sat before him, his eyes opening slowly as he took in a deep breath.
The metal and melted and reformed into it's final state. Eric sat upon a chair, a simple seat if nothing else, with Eric looking much, much older. His features showing advanced age as a several child sat around him of various ages. Each one winged like he was. Eric seemed to reading from a book of some kind, spending time with children and grandchildren as years had passed one.
His wings looked somewhat tattered, as though he had been dozens of battles before reaching this point, his muscles still looked strong, like one would expect from a warrior even after years of not training or fighting. His features worn from the age, but one thing still stood out on him. His arm still held the mark of the SSE, the tattoo had been touched up even, despite the scarring around it.
Eric didn't speak as he stepped back and sat down, his wings slowly losing their color as he rested now, not used to this kind of training at all really.

Jishin looked on at his students in pride. They were doing exactly what he had asked him to do without question, proving to him that they could follow orders but not only that… there was more. They believed in him. It was an odd feeling. They completely believed he was going to do whatever it took to make them better. And he was. He was going to pour his heart and soul into them. They were his entire world now. He would earn the right to call them his students.
Ericnox seemed to get it at first, the heart-metal pouring away revealing… Ericnox. He was much older, his face grizzled with age, his wings battered from what seemed to be war-fatigue. Winged cherubs sat at his feet and a large book rested in his hands. His most notable feature was the tattoo of the SSE that rested on his arm. It was one Jishin was very familiar with, having seen much of it in his sector… But that was not Ericnox’s fault what had occurred.
The sexiest kai walked up and placed his hand on the angel’s shoulder. He smiled down at him a kindly smile. It was a very noble thing to want in his heart to grow old and be able to support a family, to be able to read to your grandchildren.
“It’s beautiful” [/b] Was all the kai said.
Maguz seemed to be having much more difficulty opening his heart to the metal then Eric did. A ki blast he had aimed at the stone backfired singeing the smaller fellow’s face and hands. Then there was the horrid punch gone wrong… the crack echoing out throughout the small planet. Jishin grimaced upon inspecting his adopted son’s hand. Bones stuck out visibly, blood pooling around the areas.
But it was the tears that really struck the Kai. His heart went out to his son the same way a father’s would to his own wounded child. The kai walked over and took his son’s broken hand in his, holding it tight, causing no pain as the wound was healed almost instantly. He lifted Maguz’s chin to look into his eyes.
“You can do this. I believe in you.” [/b]

Ericnox had conquired the stone. His statue was great, flawless, and told a story. It was obvious that Jishin was proud of him; and so was Maguz. But as Jishin looked to Maguz, he could see something on in his eyes; pehaps pity?
The large Kai walked over, gently taking Maguz's hand in his own. To Maguz's surprise, the pain faded and the bones began to mend, fixing the fractures and breaks. Jishin placed his hand on the wizard's chin, looking him in the eyes. There was sincerity in his eyes and tone as he spoke, “You can do this. I believe in you.”
Maguz didn't know why, but his heart filled with a fire, the Kai's words filling it. His right hand shot up to the stone, working automatically as his Kai began to flow into it. It was like he'd entered a trance as the flame from his heart rushed into the ki. It was a feeling of indescribable wholeness.
Maguz watched the stone melt, forming its own statue. His eyes shut, afraid of what might be shown. But as the stone reached the solid state, he stepped away, eyes still clamped shut.
Revealing his hearts deepest desires, the statues was only one word. The true thing that Maguz wanted the most; which was even unknown to him. "Forgiveness".

Feeling the Kai's hand upon him and then hearing his approval, he watched him walk over to Maguz and healed his hand. It seemed that things aren't so easy for some people, and with the renewed vigor being poured into the metal and the word "Forgiveness" formed.
"Forgiveness of one self is the hardest... If you are here today my friend, someone has given you the chance to find it for yourself."
He stands up slowly and pops his back, walking towards Maguz and placing a hand upon the hidden shoulder of the boy. He was the kind of person who it already seemed beat himself up over everything and that he wasn't good enough unless he found perfection in everything he did or attempted. Something once lurked in this boy's heart, and it was going to be drawn out by the Kai, one way or the other.
"Let us find our goals together. I think yours is a personal quest, but people around you and helping you out aren't a bad thing."

“Forgiveness.” The word was carved deep into Maguz’s heart-metal. It hit the sexiest kai in the universe harder than he had thought it would. Harder than even Ericnox’s figure with his family gathered around. What in the world could he need that much forgiveness for? What was it that was buried that deeply in his heart?
“Me that’s deep…” [/b] He brushed away a tear that had magically sprung to his eye. It tried to fight back. The tear and Jishin struggled in locked combat, tiny tear arms reaching up and grabbing the Kai’s fingers. Jishin grunted and overpowered it, swiping it away while it’s tiny wet voice vowed vengeance.
Seeing Eric walk over and place his hand upon the tree-Kai’s shoulder sent Jishin’s heart soaring. He quickly grabbed for it out of the air and stuffed it back in its place in his chest. Eric vowed to help Maguz find forgiveness. Jishin too placed his large hands on the shoulders of each of his students.
“That’s beautiful. I will help you both as well of course. I swear I won’t fail you.” [/b] He smiled and looked up into the deep blue of the skies around his planet; the sun was high in the sky. The training had surely taken a lot out of both of his students, and it was meant to. Only with the knowledge of what their hearts truly desired could they know what they wanted to work towards, what they had to look forward to. And perhaps most importantly… what to protect for others.
“That’s enough for now, let’s break for lunch. Afterwards the training becomes more… physical” [/b] The Kai laughed and rubbed his hands together, a table forming in front of them piled with food again. His students would need all the energy they could get.

"Forgiveness of one self is the hardest... If you are here today my friend, someone has given you the chance to find it for yourself," these words caused Maguz to open his eyes and take a look at his statue. It was not the most beautiful statue ever created, and it did not tell a story like Ericnox's had, but to Maguz, who stared in awe, it was a revelation.
It took a strong man to ask for forgiveness, but an even stronger one to truly mean it. This statue was proof that Maguz was trying to change. It was proof that he was changing. The past was behind him. He could start life anew.
As Ericnox placed a hand on his shoulder, Maguz looked him in the eyes, "Let us find our goals together. I think yours is a personal quest, but people around you and helping you out aren't a bad thing," the boy told him, causing Maguz to feel something inside he'd never felt. A strange, uncomfortable warmth glowed deeply inside him; one he could not place. Perhaps this wasthe feeling of friendship.
"Thank you, Ericnox. I have never had a-" he paused, gulping hard to getthe next word out, "... friend... Before..."
Placing a large yand on Maguz's other shoulder, Jishin walked up to them, That’s beautiful. I will help you both as well of course. I swear I won’t fail you.” His words hinted at a darkness of some kind deep within him as well. Perhaps Maguz was not the only one with a bloodied past.
“That’s enough for now, let’s break for lunch. Afterwards the training becomes more… physical” A wave of hus large magical hands, and a table of food appeared, as it had the night before.
With a quick bow to thank the Kai, he took his place at the table and gave himself a small plate of food. Then he waited to dig in until his friends were seated as well. Though his appetite was little, he would eat to show his gratitude. As he waited, he gave a second look at the statue, reading it over and over. It was hard to believe that centuries ago his heart's deepest desires were domination. Now, it was forgiveness for what he'd done. It made him wonder that if he did the excersize again in two hundred years, what it would then. Perhaps it would be more like Ericnox's. He and his family or loved ones. All he knew was that he hoped it would not be like the Kai. A statue of himself flexing. Vainity was not becoming of him.

When he admitted he never had a friend, Eric couldn't help but smile at this it took a strong man to ask forgiveness, a stronger one to accept it, but a mighty one to admit he had been alone for so long. A chuckle escapes his lips as he lifts his hand up, listening to the Kai speak about helping them, not failing them, and better yet, some more physical training over everything else.
"Then I am pleased to the first friend you have. Perhaps one day, we can be the best of friends, help each other in ways we never knew people could. After all, what's the point of life if one cannot enjoy it and do well for others?"
He smiled once the food was prepared, once more sitting at the table and eating probably the smallest amount here. While he was hungry, once more it was shown that he didn't need as much as most people.
His wings fluttered some behind him, his body wanting to take flight once more, a good sign his ki was recovering quickly and these meals did help. Despite the massive portions that had been offered, it almost felt like each bite had the fullness of a real meal in it, at least when it came to the energy it provided on demand. His eyes moved to the Kai and he finally asked a question, one about the training.
"Kaio-sama, I know it is far too soon to ask, but your training will teach us a wide array of things, but does include things like magic and the like? Or am I on my own for magical study?"
