There wasn’t much time for him to get this done but he needed to get himself strong enough to deal with the enemies that he knew were waiting. Entering the Gladiator on his own he decided that he would push himself for an hour and stay in the rejuvenation chamber for another to make sure there was time. To do this he would need an effective enemy, and that was where the AI of the ship came in, she would be creating his opponent for the day. Walking up to the gravity machine he programmed it to the appropriate measurement for his training, he wasn’t going to let his body adjust to the levels, instead force his body to become stronger. If he could beat it down to the very bottom and heal from there, it would likely be a much fuller increase to his power than before. This was where Ayleen came in as well, if there was something that he could trust to give him a challenging fight, it was the AI of Rensou Hiruen. That was also the man he set as his first goal as well, he would be aiming to surpass his power and soar to new heights, breaking through any limits in his way.
“Ayleen, be a dear and create an opponent for me that can give me a hell of a fight, please?” he requested, hitting a few keys to make sure the fighting area was free and open. The ladder retracted and opened up the floor to a wider degree leaving Yuumaru to wait for his opponent in an empty arena. There was almost no waiting before the enemy materialized before him and taking the shape of a sleek, metallic machine-like creature. There wasn’t much else to describe it in his mind; it was slimmer than a normal being except for the shoulder area which was extended out a ways from the body line with strange lighting. A double-sided blade was in its hand as well, showing that it would not only be a swift fighter, but also one that could be versatile in its attacks. A slight smirk crossed the features of the Saiyan as he watched the creation with a hint of expectation from seeing it fight.
With an explosive burst of speed that machine rushed him with its enormous blade the downward swing that was backed by an incredible power. Raising two blades of energy to block the attack he immediately realized the necessity to bringing out a stronger sword. His basic Ki No Tsurugi shattered without much resistance but they did buy him time to narrowly avoid the incredibly sharp weapon, even as it cut through his armor. This was not good the blades couldn’t be stopped by normal means, which meant that he would have to bring out his other sword to defend himself. Reaching to his chest the hilt of energy formed as he called forth his strongest blade, one that had been forged of his Ki and life force, the Hyperion Edge.
“You know, Ayleen, you really don’t half-ass things do you? I can tell this thing is going to be a monster of a fight,” this was the kind of fight he wanted all this time. This was something that could press him this well but that it was still possible for him to defeat with enough effort, and that he could unleash his most powerful attacks against. The two warriors rushed at each other with a speed neither had displayed before and the collision of their swords sent a powerful shockwave out around them. These two beings were set into the best type of fight, the one where the combatants would dance along the line between life and death. Blood and oil rained down around them as the fighters exchanged blows that could cleave each other in half, but could never land full hits against each other. Granted the saiyan warrior was using basic tactics with a sword, if he had been trained perhaps he would be doing better than just blocking and slashing. He scoffed at his own use of the blade as it was something that amateurs would do with a new toy, rather than the practiced swings of a swordsman.
The two separated once more with Yuumaru breathing a bit heavier than he had normally done before, the machine that was his opponent seemed to be trying to regain energy. There was one other thing he noted while they were not engaged in battle; the opponent created for him was starting to regenerate its wounds slowly. The blue-haired Saiyan had to wonder if Ayleen had been programmed with a bit of a sadistic personality to her, as this seemed a bit much for training. He wouldn’t complain though, if he was going to be pushed to the absolute of his limit, then this was likely the kind of opponent that would do it. As they moved against each other once more the sound of metal hitting energy reverberated throughout the ship, but there was an extra sound that shortly followed the first. It was the sudden burst of more energy but this time it crash against a larger form of metal, Yuumaru had unleashed his Void Ripper upon the machine when their blades collided.
He’d managed to knock the mechanical monstrosity into the opposite wall, which allowed him to get a few second to catch his breath. Sadly, while he was catching his breath the machine had been charging up energy for a powerful blast that came from its shoulder. The blast sent Yuu flying across the chamber in the opposite direction, scorch marks appearing on his arm in the spot he was hit. The flesh had been burned by a powerful laser though his body was strong enough to have withstood the attack with just the damage that he received. The throbbing pain of the burned flesh began to stir something within him, it was a slumbering energy that seemed to not be apart of his normal powers. However, it seemed that the power tried to bring to the surface all of his emotions as well and before it could continue to do so, he pushed it away. He refused to let his emotions out as they would only get in the way of what he needed to do, which was win this battle and reach a new peak of power.
A subtle voice began calling to him, however, the voice barely a whisper but the words it was speaking were clear, release me. Shaking his head he looked up to see the mechanical opponent swinging the sword for his head, Yuumaru barely lifted Hyperion Edge in time to block the attack. Even then it hadn’t been a full block as he could feel a trickle of blood rolling down from a cut on his forehead, it was shallow thankfully, but it would still be disruptive. His heartbeat was pounding loudly in his ears, all other noises and distractions being pushed out of his mind by the fact that the blade had come so close to cleaving him in half. The other half of it being that he was excited by the prospect of something being so powerful that he needed to ignore everything except for it and it alone. Which was just perfect for him, he wanted something to keep his attention focused on and here it was right in front of him wielding a blade and trying to kill him. Power began to build up within the robots shoulder once more as it prepared to fire the particle beam at close range with the way it rushed Yuumaru.
That was fine, he had a little surprise of his own as he held the blade in his left hand while gathering his own powerful attack into his right hand. With the clash of blades they both unleashed their attacks at point blank range creating a powerful explosion that sent both warriors flying backwards. Slamming into the wall from the explosion he tried to catch his breath from the painful blast, this was going to take everything he had to try and let him get the advantage. Green eyes settled onto the enemy across from him, his mind racing through countless possibilities of how he could gain the upper hand. He had a lot of techniques he could use to try and get the upper hand, the issue was how his opponent might respond. This wasn’t like any enemy that he had fought before it was almost like it was growing more powerful constantly during their fight. To fight any kind of opponent that could evolve like that during a battle was both an exciting and scary thought. Did that mean it had no limits for what it could achieve in a single battle? That seemed like an unlikely scenario to him, it was getting more powerful but not all that quickly either.
He waited until the machine had repaired itself, mostly to allow him to regain his own strength before continuing as well, he decided to test out what it could do. That laser had been a potent weapon it brought out, but only after he had attacked it with such an ability first. Placing his left sword into his right hand, he decided to test the waters with each of his abilities and see which one got him the closest to doing enough damage to bring down his opponent. Lunging forward he could feel the energy beginning to flow through his bodies as his reactions increased along with his body feeling much lighter as well. As he rushed forward his opponent took a swipe at him with the sword only to find the image of Yuumaru fade away and instead having a sword bite into its side, tearing a chunk of metal out. The assault didn’t stop there though, as soon as the first attack struck true the Saiyan warrior unleashed a barrage of slashes against the insectoid robot. The robot tried to defend itself from the quick onslaught of attacks, but with each movement Yuumaru attacked from a new direction and stripped away a few of the limbs from his opponent before landing across from the machine once more.
He had let out a powerful barrage against it and it left him with the need to regain his breath once more, leaning against the sword to take as much strain off of his body as he could. He looked at it as it stood still, though with large chunks torn from its sides and an arm missing from its body, those wounds would likely render it unable to do much now. The repairing ability couldn’t work that fast for those heavy of wounds, so he figured that he would be safe for a time until it could recover from that. Unfortunately, it seemed his opponent had different ideas of what should be capable of as the arm it was missing regenerated but this time with thicker armor. In fact, the whole body was gaining the new armor as it seemed to adapt to the situation that had just occurred while there was the down time. That left something of a bitter taste in the blue-haired Saiyan’s mouth as all of the work he had put into taking it apart was now being undone within seconds.
He couldn’t help but laugh as it seemed this was going to be an almost impossible battle, a creature that not only could heal itself, but could literally evolve in seconds for a fight. This just wasn’t right, but then again, he supposed as a warrior he should have known better as well and not just trusted in what he could see. Taking a deep breath he regained his composure and was getting another wind, his body not quite fully recovered but it was enough to let him fight once more despite the injuries he had. He’d come prepared as well for this little battle and if it came to it, there were little items that would help him recover from even those wounds with little difficulty. Right now he needed to relax though and not let himself get worked up over this opponent, this was exactly what he had asked for an opponent that would give him a hell of a fight. He would have to thank Ayleen for this later, it was really pushing him beyond what he thought he was capable of doing before and now he was seeing new and interesting ways to fight.
Spinning the sword in his left hand now, he kept his right hand clenched relaxed but he would now start utilizing both swordsmanship and hand-to-hand abilities to fight this enemy. Just fighting with one would be too restricting for him and he wanted to develop this for himself, to further reach out his own skills and power to however far they would reach. He wasn’t going to lose to this blasted machine even if it meant completely breaking his body to get the job done, it was time for him to let himself fight with abandon. Loosening his muscles he could feel the sword hanging loosely from his hand, but there was no real weight behind it and his dominant arm was resting as well. His eyes were focused on the area around him taking everything into account so that he might use it as they fought, he wouldn’t plan anything this time.
Moving to attack his body held no formal stance and instead was just poised to attack without showing any restraint and when he neared the opponent, he threw his leg forward. In reaction the machine, that would from henceforth be referred to as Pallas, lifted its arm to block the kick before thrusting the sword forward. What it wasn’t expecting was for Yuumaru to hook his leg onto the arm and use it to swing the Pallas’ backside bringing his elbow all the way around to strike at the opposite side of its head. While it caused him a bit of pain to strike the solid armor with his elbow, it still managed to do damage to Pallas, showing that while it was growing it hadn’t become unbeatable. This sparked a renewed spirit within his body, and when the blade from the other end of the sword came at him, he unleashed a Void Ripper against it to knock the weapon away. Though it didn’t work exactly like he wanted it to either as the new strength behind the attacks from Pallas gave it enough power to reach his hand before being pushed away. A small trickle of blood from his hand to the floor the only sign that he was damage as his body stood as though there was nothing wrong with it. His pride as a Saiyan pushing him to go beyond the limits of his body and show this insect just how powerful a Saiyan could become when properly motivated.
However, looking at the creature it didn’t seem to be all that phased that the armor had managed to slow it down a bit more which created a gap even without his NTR active. Raising an eyebrow he wondered just what it was that Pallas was thinking as it didn’t even try to pursue him. There was something strange about the way it was acting now and he wasn’t sure what it was, was it trying to act like a fortress to get him to tire himself out first? His question was answered, however, when the free arm suddenly pulled out a weapon that looked like a large rifle. It didn’t chase him because now it had a better weapon to shoot at him with, as his shoulder blasters wouldn’t be able to follow him as well. The weapon hadn’t even been fully aimed when Pallas fired it off and the heat alone from it forced Yuumaru back, it didn’t look like it did as much damage to the ship, but the heat was much worse than the shoulder weapons. He would have to be extremely careful of that gun, he wasn’t sure exactly how badly it would effect him and he really didn’t want to find out first hand.
Using his bukujutsu skill he took to the air to make it more difficult for Pallas to get a lock-on with the rifle, though his body was starting to form small burn marks from the sheer heat from that rifle. It was a dangerous weapon and possibly one that he had to take away from the machine before it did get a direct hit on him. If that happened it was likely he might not be able to continue fighting, and that was something that he just couldn’t allow no matter what. This wasn’t about his pride as a Saiyan either, but instead as a warrior he needed to fight to the end, whether that meant simple unconsciousness or death. Focusing on the weapon he dived towards the ground and swooped towards the machine opponent as it fired a beam right over his head. The feel of the heat causing a grimace from the Saiyan, but he continued forward before unleashing a powerful burst of kinetic energy from his body, impacting everything in twenty feet of his location. Pallas was included within that distance as he was rocked back by the wave of energy, his rifle aimed helplessly into the air and there it became prey. Grabbing the long barrel with his bare hands he used all the strength that he could muster to crush it, if it attempted to fire it like that, the whole thing would explode right on top of the bastard. Of course, that was apparently the plan as well, as Pallas pulled the trigger while they were both within close range of each other to make sure the blast would catch. Calming his mind Yuumaru knew that there was only one way to make sure that he could survive the blast without too much injury to himself in this brief moment.
Unleashing the energy hidden within his body his own power tripled and reached an astounding level as the heat explosion engulfed both him and Pallas completely. His arms crossed as the immense heat washed over him, despite the increase to his power he didn’t come out of the blast unscathed, but he was in one piece. His arms were covered in burn marks but nothing that seemed to be too severe now, the energy surging through his body after entering this state of power once more after all the time without utilizing it. His body was in less pain than it had been a few seconds ago and it was brimming with untapped energy that seemed like it wanted to overflow from him. There was a new sensation from him as well, the calmness seemed almost like it was foreign to him as his mind and body were completely still now. It was not unwelcome to him though, this was what he had been trying to achieve for so long, to remain completely calm within even a situation of battle. Was it just the effects of Kokuu becoming much more prominent now or was it something else that he had achieved ever since he started to grow in power more quickly. That was a question he’d have to answer later, however, as for right now the smoke around Pallas was starting to clear and there was another change that occurred with him.
It seemed that it returned to the slim appearance it had before and still retained the armor that would provide protection for it, but this time there were thrusters on its body to compensate the speed loss. Crossing his arms the effects of Kokuu allowed Yuumaru to stay indifferent to the change, instead looking over the new form with a calculating gaze which would try to figure out ways to take it apart. Green eyes focused with a quiet intensity that matched that of the machine’s own presence now, this was a battle of wills before the final clashes of battle would begin. Opponents that locked their gazes upon one another had a battle of wills and whoever was the one to lose that, would likely lose the actual battle as well. It wasn’t a guarantee, but there was always the factor of throwing off the opponent’s confidence and striking before they could recover as well. This was not a situation where that would be possible for either side, however, as they both stared almost with an uninterested gaze at each other. They were each playing out their attacks in their minds while also thinking up counters for their opponent’s, it was like a game of chess or perhaps shadow-boxing would be a more appropriate relation to what was going on here. Neither would begin to make a move unless they were sure that they could win and not a moment before that, there was too much that needed to be done for Yuumaru to lose here. Their bodies were relaxed yet neither had their guard down, these two were poised to throw everything on the line and unleash every power they had against each other. Being tense or lowering ones guard was a guarantee that they would be defeated, they need to be able to bring out everything that they could on demand.
It seemed that they would be keeping still like this for a while, or they would have, if not for one of the pieces of rubble coming loose and crashing against the floor. Both took off moving at incredibly high speeds becoming nothing more than black and silver blurs as they exchanged attacks, fists and swords clashing against each other in a display of incredible power. The echoes of the battle could even be heard from outside of the ship with the intensity the combatants were striking at each other with, a left fist connecting with Yuumaru’s cheek as his own uppercut connected with Pallas. They were pretty much evenly matched even at this point, so the battle would have to be decided like this, before he ran out of time for this power. For this he poured as much power as he could into his fist as the Hyperion Edge was also used to strike out at the machine, who countered with its own blade. The shower from earlier had resumed as cuts and slashes appeared on both sides, with neither showing a sign of letting up with their barrage. Using his instincts to fight for now, he aimed a knee strike for the chest of Pallas while he leaned his torso backwards to avoid what would be a fatal strike from the sword and used his bukujutsu to create an extra burst of power for the knees striking power.
Pallas stumbled backwards from the blow but wouldn’t be stopped there as he fired off a shoulder cannon at Yuumaru catching him with the full blast. Sliding back along the floor himself the blue-haired Saiyan spit out a bit of blood from the impact, his flesh feeling like it was being burst even now. The damage wasn’t bad, but it had a lasting effect which would eventually add to the build up of damage already done to him, it wasn’t bad now but should he lose this power he wouldn’t be able to continue. Thankfully he’d gotten used to the abilities effects and wouldn’t have to worry about that for a while yet, but it would be a dangerous game he was playing right now. He was racing against the clock while also unleashing his unbridled power upon Pallas, this would be the end game of it, there was no doubt about that in his mind. It was just a matter of time, they were both at their currently strongest forms and there was nothing to do but direct every ounce at each other and whoever could withstand it the best would be the victor.
His eyes focused on Pallas across the ship from him this was the furthest he’d been pushed to fight in a long time and there was no way he would give up so easily on victory. The heavy weighted armor was actually standing up pretty well to all the abuse that was being unleashed on it, he was surprised by how durable it was. He wondered how much it could truly endure from this battle, he might need to test it with a technique that he had in mind for a situation like this. Against such a powerful opponent he could really pull out all of the stops for that, there would be a bit of a price but nothing that he wasn’t willing to pay otherwise to achieve his own goals. Rushing forward he wasn’t about to give Pallas time to recover from everything either, if this was going to be the final clash between them then he was going to make it something to remember. As he approached his hands spread out to each side readying an attack and leaving nothing to defense for the time being, he needed time to work out the proper setup for this new technique. Pallas was watching both arms to see which he would attack with first and in doing so was playing right into what Yuumaru wanted from him. Striking first with his right hand he watched Pallas react to it, then swung with the Hyperion Edge in his left hand, they were both meant as diversions but if one worked he wouldn’t complain.
Like he expected though Pallas reacted to both attacks blocking the Hyperion Edge with its own sword and blocking his palm strike with his arm. Stepping into extreme close quarters he looked Pallas in the eyes for a moment before letting the truth sink into the machine’s mind for a moment and then letting his Magne Crusher explode from his body. This was all a test right now to see what would be the most effective way to deal with Pallas once and for all, from there he could work on building up the rest of the technique. His opponent had been injured, but it wasn’t enough for what he was looking for, he needed the right power that would win this for him in a show of indomitable power. Rushing immediately after his opponent he fired off a Void Ripper once more into its torso the impact doing a good amount of damage, but it still wasn’t enough for what he wanted. Although, it seemed that Pallas was ready for this attack as his Shoulder Cannons were fired almost as soon as the Void Ripper had been, creating distance between them once more. His weighted armor was still in fact holding together and the attack had been at close range, that would be the key to him surviving this plan as well. The machine was already on top of him with the blade swinging upwards at an angle to cleave him in half, but it wouldn’t work as his Hyperion Edge met it with a clash of sparks.
They were pushed apart once more neither side having gained the upper hand with that brief battle, he would have to try something else if he wanted to win. Taking slow deep breaths he calmed his body once more, allowing his heart to beat normally and his body to relax from the burst of intense fighting. He could feeling the beads of sweat rolling down his body, following the trails that his well-toned muscles had created along the surface of his skin. This was getting him no where fast, he needed to find a source of power that would be able to do more damage than his normal techniques were capable of, but the question was what? His mind was trying to go through all of the techniques that he had created up until this point in an attempt to design one that would give him a powerful weapon to use when he needed it. The issue right now was that he couldn’t think about anything except for the opponent, which meant that it would be harder to pinpoint the necessary components to created his ultimate technique. Letting out a breath he couldn’t dwell on that right now he had to press the machine to keep it form being able to recover too much of its own damage. With a snort from his nostrils he cleared out any blood that may have formed in them, he’d taken hits to the face a swell, so anything that might hinder his ability to fight needed to be lessened at the moment. When he was done he looked to his opponent and made a motion with his index and middle finger to come at him.
Pallas complied and at the same time Yuumaru launched forward with his right fist raised high throwing it forward in a powerful hook, only to have it blocked by the mechanical foe. He wasn’t done though and immediately dropped the Hyperion Edge to swing his left at an upward angle for a liver shot. Although on the machine it wouldn’t do the same kind of damage, but he wasn’t trying to weaken it, he was just trying to take it apart with his bare hands at this point. Exchanging left and right punches at different angles to see which kinds of attacks could slip through the defenses, everything from straight punches to hook and uppercuts followed by smashes. Each one was used to measure the defensive ability of Pallas to find a weak point that he could attack with the full force of the energy swirling through his body. Unfortunately, he hadn’t been paying attention to the time that was available to him either and he suddenly felt a rush of exhaustion wash over his form causing him to wobble in place. This was what he had been worrying about the entire time as well, the moment when his Kokuu would wear out and leave him vulnerable to attack, this was a bad situation to find himself in. One that Pallas would take advantage of without any hesitation as well, as the robot’s fist smashed clear through the armor and striking his solar plexus, the air leaving his lungs almost immediately as he was flung back against the wall. At least what he thought was the wall, as Pallas was now faster than he was once more, able to move to the spot behind him and kicking up into the ceiling of the Gladiator.
Falling back against the ground he could feel all the ribs that had broke upon the first strike and his back was in excruciating pain from the kick. It was almost to the point of numbing his entire body and he realized that the attack probably could have paralyzed him if not for the armor that had taken the worst of that strike. It was hard just to focus his mind so that he could try to think of something to do, right now he was just completely out of gas and it seemed like the battle was going to end with him not being unconscious or dead. That was an insult to his very core, it pained him that he was on the verge of losing without anything that he could do about it and that damn robot was probably being smug about the whole thing! His mind had stopped being logical at this point, this whole situation just struck a bad nerve within the blue-haired warrior and something in him was starting to stir because of it. Pallas began to walk away from him, heading towards the consol as if he were going to shut off the simulator on him and claim the victory so easily. Seeing this the blue-haired Saiyan began to push himself up from the floor willpower or perhaps sheer stubbornness and pride being what allowed him to do this, as his body was protesting it with loud cries of pain. As he got to his feet he realized that his body had taken far too much damage over the entire course of this battle, as he fell face first into the ground and could barely contain the shouts that wanted to come out. Pallas continued his path as well, Ayleen beginning to say something about the simulation being ended, which caused a low, feral growl to emit from his throat.
“Don’t you dare end this! I won’t allow it!” his voice was coming out of his throat of its own accord as he was currently trying hard to resist his emotions exploding. He could feel a large well of energy from beneath them, but he refused to let them out not after all this time of keeping them held back. Thankfully his words had halted the actions of Pallas as the machine turned towards him to observe the Saiyan that was crawling his way up from the ground. As much as he was trying to hold them back he could feel his emotions bubbling near the surface and he needed to calm down, there was nothing that would be done from loosing control of himself. Taking several deep breaths he could feel his mind almost at the brink of breaking and letting everything out, that wasn’t the way he had been trained. He had been taught that his emotions were a weakness and believed that thoroughly despite that he didn’t like the source that the lesson came from. Continuing the deep breaths he relaxed his mind and settled the emotions that were trying to break free from their constraints, pushing them back into the deepest part of himself where they would stay. When he was ready to continue, he’d managed to rest enough to regain a little bit more control of his body, so that he could at least sit up and focus his attention where it needed to be. His eyes locked onto his opponent’s as they continued to observe the Saiyan that would not stay down even after all the abuse he had just received.
“I won’t be beaten while I’m still alive,” he declared changing the words that had been in his head not moments ago. He would fight regardless of the state he was in, that was his true path for a warrior regardless of the difference in power of his enemies. This was going to be his declaration from now on, no longer would he let himself lose to his opponents, this time he would fight every battle with his life on the line. He wouldn’t let anyone else insult his pride like Pallas had just done, whether it was intentional or not, that was something that would not be forgiven, ever. His eyes were focused and his mind was clear, it was just his body that was falling behind now with this fight having been so difficult. He needed something to try and restore his energy at least, otherwise there was no point to everything he had just said and he wouldn’t go back on his own word. This was something that he had to do otherwise he would never consider himself a worthy warrior, and that was the only thing that mattered to him. He rummaged through his pockets looking for anything that he had on hand that might help, when he found the tiny beans that he carried around with him. He’d forgotten all about these things through all the battles that he had encountered, and if he remembered right they were said to be able to heal.
Well there was only one way to find out for sure if that was true or not as he popped one into his mouth and began to chew the thing. It was a weird sensation, the outside was crunchy but it seemed that there was a strange liquid inside that flowed through his mouth and went down his throat. There was a warmth spreading through out his body as the strange essence of the bean made its way through his body. He felt the pain slowly fade away from his body letting him relax once more, a relief after those insanely powerful attacks just now. It didn’t stop there though as he could feel his strength being restored to full capacity…or maybe a bit more than it had been before as it seemed he also felt like he’d had a full meal. Finally he watched as the wounds themselves actually disappeared and left his body back in perfect condition like when he had started this battle not all that long ago. This was such an amazing feeling, he didn’t even know how to describe what had just happened to him, but he knew that it was exactly what he needed as well. He would need to make sure that he obtained more of these powerful little things, so that he could fight on longer over the course of battles. He closed his eyes and could feel the stress of the last few moments melting away, his mind could calm down much easier once more, there was no way that he would be defeated so easily now.
Turning to face Pallas he nodded his head towards the opponent that had waited for him to come up with a way to continue fighting. Despite that it was a machine and that it had been programmed like that, it seemed to have an understanding of what honor was, and it had allowed him to do what he could. For that, he would return the favor as well as he crossed his arms in front of his chest, where he would begin his own waiting as he had been returned to his best condition. He motioned a hand towards Pallas who had just caught on to what he was trying to imply, that the machine should repair itself like it had been able to do, and it came with an extra message behind it. That message would read: Return yourself to your full power, because now that I am fully recovered I can beat you at your best, and I will leave this ship victorious. It was perhaps a bold statement but there was no bravado or overconfidence coming from the Saiyan, that message was just a simple statement of facts.
It took no longer than a few minutes for the damage that had been done to fully repair itself, the power behind his punches and his Void Ripper was potent enough to leave hard to repair damage. He wasn’t sure what the reason behind it was, but that had actually managed to give him a clue as to what he needed to do. There were still some components missing from the equation that was going through his mind, but it was a start that he could utilize for some of the groundwork for his blueprints. He brought his attention back to what was at hand as the last of the repairs were complete, and Pallas stood ready to start their battle from the beginning once more. Yuumaru supposed it was time to restart the match again then, after all he’d given his opponent plenty to think about with his implied statement earlier. Taking a deep breath he slowly let it out as slowly as he could, reaching into the deepest parts of the his body to draw forth his power, he wasn’t going to half-ass things this time. He grabbed a hold of all the power that he could and brought it to the forefront of his body, his calmness allowing him to harness it into a focused edge that he could utilize however he wished. Spreading his feet to about a shoulder’s width apart from each other, letting the overflow of energy seep out into his aura, the silvery fiery becoming a truly wild thing as it rage around him.
Pallas didn’t realize the difference that him being fully rested would make, nor what the state of his mind would do for his power. He’d let too many things distract him before but his every attention was focused on his opponent right now as they moved to attack each other. The machine was the first to strike, throwing a punch towards Yuumaru and it was something that the Saiyan was prepared for as he threw his own arm out in a counter. This would double the damage that was sent back to the android using his own power against him as well, it would leave a lasting impression. The punch had sent his opponent head over heel backwards and falling to the floor, possibly from a bit of surprise as to how well he was handling himself as to what happened before this moment. To rectify that it grabbed the double-sided sword that it had started with to try and keep Yuumaru at a distance from itself. He had a weapon to counter that though as he placed his hand to his chest to draw the out the weapon that would turn the field to his advantage once more. Only nothing was happening as he tried to draw out the blade, and it was then that he realized that it had been left on the ground where he dropped it. A slight tsking sound left his lips as he should have remembered to put it back into his body rather than discard it onto the ground.
Pallas came at him swinging the sword only to find that Yuumaru had dived to the side in an attempt to grab his own blade. That wouldn’t be allowed apparently as the shoulder cannons fired off and crashed into the Hyperion Edge sending it into the side of the ship’s hull. Crap, it seemed that there wouldn’t be an easy way for him to get his weapon so he would have to settle for blocking one attack from the sword at a time. The plan was to slowly make his way towards the sword, but he’d have to do it indiscreetly otherwise he was sure that the android would do something to make sure it would be harder to reach. It was hard not to admit that his opponent was doing an impressive job of taking away one of his strongest weapons right now. He’d have to try to figure out a way to prevent others from doing the same thing, otherwise he’d be in real trouble and the others likely wouldn’t be as nice as his current opponent was being. How could he do it though, it was going to be a question he needed to answer if he wanted to complete his technique as well, the sword was one of the few things that could hold off those attacks.
He stopped for a moment after that thought, why was he playing these games to go get his sword, he didn’t need to keep avoiding strikes like this. Shaking his head he took off in a straight rush for the sword moving his body into the path so that if any attacks were made, they would hit him instead. When he grabbed the hilt of the sword he was surprised that there had been no attacks sent after him, although when he turned around he understood the reason why. The shoulders were gathering lots of energy into them to create a more powerful blast than just the normal ones, and the worst part was, Yuumaru wasn’t sure the ship could take that kind of power. There was only one thing that he could do and that was fight power with an even greater power, and he lifted his hand, concentrating the energy of his Giga Foe and charging even more power than he put into it normally. They stood there with neither moving from either side, instead staring each other down like it was a showdown at high noon, only it wasn’t six shooters that they were using here otherwise there wouldn’t be much of a problem. The energy of his Giga Foe was already immensely more powerful than what he thought it was capable of and he wondered how destructive it could truly get if he let it charge until he couldn’t hold onto it anymore. That would be an experiment for another time, as he decided to release the stored up energy now in a massive blast that threatened to engulf Pallas.
Throwing his sword with his free hand to take one of the legs out from under the androids body, if it fired off its own blast that would hopefully cause some energy loss. The Hyperion Edge had been one of the most effective weapons in this battle and he had to wonder if it was because of the mixture of Ki along with Life force. A thought struck him at that point and another piece of the puzzle fell into place for his blueprints, he wasn’t sure if he should work more into it or try to build the foundation of this attack now. His thoughts were brought to the current situation as the beams collided and released an explosion that filled the entire inside of the ship. It seemed that there were powerful energy dampeners though, as despite the damage that was cause to them, the ship itself was relatively unharmed which was a feat considering their battle. Then again compared to the owner of the ship he was pretty much a weakling so that could probably account for a part of that as well. Letting out a breath of air he’d been holding in, the damage that the attacks did wasn’t as extensive as he thought it would be to them either. Which was good in that he would still be able to fight and take down this pain in the ass robot personally, it had a mark against it for the insult it had given him,
Plus this would be a stepping stone to catch up with his current goal, he would let nothing get in his way of that not even loss of limb or death itself. Pushing himself up from the ground he needed to defeat this enemy and there was only one way that he could figure doing that right now. It would have to be before it got the idea to try charging up its shoulder cannons again as well, which probably didn’t give him a lot of time to work with. He decided to use the time it took for the dust to settle to start putting together this technique that would hopefully become something of an end game weapon for any future fights that he found himself in from this point forward. The first thing he needed to do was start with the beginning the size of the energy that he was going to use, which was a simple enough plan. The initial charge would be a bit of a deceiving thing as the sphere would only be about twice the size of his palm, but it would be packed to the brim with energy and life force. He needed to make sure it held plenty of life force to be a potent attack, one that would powerful enough to harm even the strongest of enemies. That was the most important thing right now was balancing the amount of Ki and Life force to create a weapon that was unbelievably powerful despite its size. It would be fired as a sphere towards the opponent and this would be the trickiest part of the equation, he was going to super charge the thing to fire off at insanely high speeds. The issue here came in that if he did it how he planned to, then the attack would have a recoil like effect and damage the arm that fired it. It was probably the risk for such a powerful attack in general, and the fact that it wouldn’t simply have a single type of damage. That would probably catch quite a few people by surprise itself, it was the best way to inflict the most amount of damage.
The dust was starting to settle now and he could see the outline of his opponent still standing in one piece, that meant he would need to work on putting it into practice in the middle of battle. When it finally settled Yuumaru hefted up Hyperion Edge in his left hand to take the majority of the attacks so that he could try to focus better with his right arm. Closing the distance in an instant swords collided repeatedly with his instincts working on handling the fighting, it was something that was basic for it enough to work out rather well. Despite the skill it wielded the strength, speed, and dexterity that came with Yuumaru’s power were enough to offset the difference so that there wasn’t a lot new wounds forming whenever he missed a block or parry. That would be enough to give him the time to focus on his creation now as he channeled both Ki and Life force into the palm of his hand, molding it into a solid sphere of energy and continuing to add equal amounts of both into the center so that it would contain a powerful explosive force to add to the physical impact of the attack. Gritting his teeth in concentration he was about to complete it when Pallas fired off the shoulder cannons and knocked him back a few feet and caused him to lose the Ki and Life force that was already put into the attack.
“You’re just going to be a pain in my ass until the end of this aren’t you?” he asked, though the question was more rhetorical than one that was looking for an answer. Ayleen was just a little bit too good at what she was capable of creating when he asked for a challenge, he would have to be careful the next time that he requested an opponent from her. Clenching his first he let loose with his fist in an attempt to smash the face of the bastard robot that had interrupted him, if he could cause enough sensory damage then maybe he could buy some time to concentrate. Though when his punch was ducked he figured it wasn’t going to be such an easy task to complete either, and the shot to his stomach reaffirmed that they were not that far apart in power. He retaliated with a knee strike that managed to connect and stumble his opponent and followed it up immediately with a hip kick, slamming his shin into the side of the androids torso with a metallic crunch being his reward. With that he unleashed a barrage of simple ki blasts towards Pallas as a means to create another dust cloud, but this one would have a surprise finish at the end if it worked right. The dust rose much higher than the last time covering from the floor to halfway up the entire room, blocking his own vision entirely of the arena they were fighting within. It was time to get it started now and this time he needed to finish before the dust settled around them otherwise he doubted he’d be able to pull it off while he was fighting. Forming the energy in his hand he made sure that it was double in size to his palm once more, and solidified the energy until it had its own mass once more. Carefully pouring in the right amounts of both Ki and Life force once more, the addition of the latter starting to drain him a bit, but he would continue on until it was perfected. With the energies mixed as perfectly as he could get them he sealed the sphere completely and held it within his hand for a moment to examine what it was that he created, a small but extremely powerful attack.
Now would come the tricky part of the whole thing as he needed to get this part just right, drawing from all the energy in his body he began to swirl it around his right arm. The result was a visible swirl of Ki entwining his arm and spreading out further around him as it moved up to his shoulder. The swirl of Ki was even larger than he was, it needed to be if it was to have the power necessary to accomplish this next step with even a slight chance of success. The energy began to rotate faster and faster generating even more energy on its own, to surpass what he would be capable of producing on his own. The swirling tendrils lashed out at everything around them with the ones wrapped around his arm burning with an intense heat that would leave burns along his arm. It was a small price for him to pay to be able to generate this much energy the tendrils drawing in the kinetic energy that they created from their movements to add into the stockpile. He wanted to make sure that there was absolutely enough energy to pull off this idea, so he let the tendrils continue on, regardless of the damage it was doing to his arm. This was a test run, and he needed to make sure it succeeded, especially since this was to be used in an actual battle right now. If it didn’t work he likely wouldn’t be able to get a second use out of it until he truly mastered the technique, but he needed to win this so that he could take on anyone that challenged him like Pallas had done this day.
This was the punishment for insulting the pride of a warrior one that came from the very core of his being, fused with the very life that he risked on the border between the living and the dead. The energy had finally reached a point where it was ready to be used to launch the little sphere, the addition of all this energy would create a powerful force itself. He was ready to take the backlash of using the technique at this close of range to his opponent as well even if his armor wouldn’t hold up against it. That was where his resolve was currently at, he would place everything on this technique and use it to finish the battle in one forceful display of his unrestrained power. His way of life as a warrior had been slandered carelessly and while he was not angered, there would be repayment. The dust was settling now, slowly lowering the curtain that separated the two warriors that were ready to end this long and tedious battle between each other. There wasn’t much left to do, as far as he was concerned, and if this worked like he had intended it to there would be no remains left behind. When the dust fully settled they were standing across the space of the gravity chamber from each other, both had the same idea in using one attack to settle this account once and for all. The only difference was in the method that they used, Yuumaru used a new technique and Pallas had just managed to charge up his shoulder cannons a bit, he supposed it was fitting to see if his attack could overcome his opponents power.
“This is the price for disgracing a warrior’s honor, Valhalla’s Judgment!” it was a name he came up with rather randomly, but he supposed it had a nice ring to it. When the energy released from the tendrils into the sphere of energy, it fired off at such an incredible speed that the air around it seemed to catch fire for a brief moment. His opponent had fired second and the beams it fired were slightly faster being that they were lasers capable of moving at near light speed. His own attack had managed to meet the beams at the distance halfway between them, but the one thing that the beams didn’t have going for them was mass. In a show of its indomitable power the sphere of energy tore through the beams of light as though they were made of paper. Pushing its way through it was like watching a rock forcefully split apart a river and being successful against the water. It reached its destination finally time seeming to have slowed down to an insane degree as he watched the effects of his attack. It was just that surreal that he was unaware of how much time was actually passing until the sphere hit the chest plate of the android unleashing a massive wave of kinetic energy on impact. Tossing Yuumaru backwards and into the wall as well, shaking the ships walls with the destructive power of just the effects of its speed. When the sphere itself exploded, from the outside the ship would visibly shake from the sheer power that was contained within it, and envelop both of the warriors in its brilliant light.
The destructive force were slamming against Yuumaru’s own body as he was barely staying conscious while the energy packed within was released in a violent fury. There was a ringing sensation going through his ears, although if he was feeling things right he was pretty sure they were bleeding as well. Coughing violently from the smoke that filled the chamber, it seemed that his wanting to create a powerful attack had succeeded, albeit possibly a little bit too well. When the smoke cleared he realized that his vision was also blurry itself, which would be difficult to work around, and the worst part was it looked like he had failed. While the machine wasn’t in one piece, it looked like it might be whole enough to start pulling itself together, a curse running through his head. He tried to push himself up slowly his arms wobbling from the pain and exhaustion as that attack had forced him to exit Kokuu having used up all his remaining power to pull it off. Faltering he fell to the ground once more, he was ready to admit his defeat when the vibrations of him hitting the ground caused Pallas to crumble apart into ash. He’d managed to beat that bastard machine, although now he had nothing left to even move himself from this spot to shut off the gravity or move himself to the base for healing. It was then that moments after, the door to the Gladiator opened and a small group of Saiyans came rushing in to lift him off of the ground and carry him out to the rejuvenation pods.
He was curious as to why they were doing that at first, but then he remember exactly what had happened recently, he was now the Lieutenant-General of the SSE he didn’t know them, but they apparently had accepted him at this rank. They had been watching until the battle had been finished before moving to help him out, they weren’t a bad lot of people, sure they enjoyed violence, that didn’t make them evil. This was one of the other reasons that he was training so hard to get stronger, he’d forgotten it for a few months with recent events. He wanted to protect them and maybe stop the slander against their race that they were all nothing but barbarians. These were his people to protect not just as a member of the Saiyan Solar Empire, or even its Lieutenant-General, but as another Saiyan. It wasn’t just the Saiyans either, they weren’t the only one involved in this anymore, it was the Norans, and all the other inhabitants of planets that came under the banner of the SSE that he would vow to protect. That was something that he would promise to himself here and now, his strength would be gathered to protect them all, and make sure that they could have a lasting peace as long as he lived.
He was broken from his thoughts as he was placed into one of the pods, letting the healing fluids wash over his body to begin repairing the damage that had been done. There he let his consciousness finally drift away so that he could get some rest before they set off to Kanassa.

[Technique:
Valhalla's Judgment: condensing both Ki and Life force into this technique, Yuumaru creates a sphere of energy that has mass. He pours even more Ki and Life force into the sphere to create a technique with a powerful destructive force that even surpasses his Giga Foe technique. Then forming tendrils of energy that gather the kinetic energy that they generate themselves, the tendrils use that energy to launch that attack at extremely high speeds. This adds an extra effect of there being a kinetic shockwave upon impact of the sphere before it explodes against the target. This technique requires at least three posts to fully charge, it is one of the strongest techniques in Yuumaru's arsenal.]
