Blaze had rather enjoyed his time on Amizonica. But he just couldn't get his mind off of home. Namek... what was going on? He had been sitting on the Queen's roof for a while alone, stressing about Carnel and the people. And he kept wondering what it was that his true mother wanted him to find on Kold.
Then, something odd happened. A voice was in his head. his eyes lit up and he spun around, looking into the sky. Dad? Please tell me that's you trying to get into my head. he said, exited yet worried.
a voice came back. Oh no no, this is God speaking. Of course its me, Blaze. Who else would it be? Carnel asked. He was annoyed about something, as usual. But it seemed more intense than usual.
You alright? Why couldn't I get onto Namek? Whats wrong? He had a thousand and fifty two questions. But he tried to limit himself.
Carnel took a moment to respond, likely the telepathic delay. Namek came under attack by a strange force. Two individuals, possibly a third. But they seem to have vanished... he paused. Blaze... the city was destroyed in the confusion...
Blaze waited for more, but nothing. Bu... But it was evacuated, right? Nobody was hurt? He asked hopefully. But there was no answer. I'm... Right. Right? He waited again.
No. None... Not one survived. Carnel's voice came in a grim tone. On Carnel's end, he was in the city himself assessing the damage.
Blaze froze. He just stood there. Carnel was hesitant to tell him, in fear of the planet he was on. And even though sorrow filled his heart, he knew that as well. He wanted to explode... and he did. But he directed all his power into his Buukujutsu and blasted off upwards. He let his rage loose then, power surrounding his body.
The higher he went, the stronger he got. He began to cycle his forms again, his eyes slowly morphing into a blood red color, like his fight with Serori. He soared higher and higher, kicking into his fourth form as he hit the atmosphere of Amizonica.
His tough hide protected him from the heat. Then his tolerance of temperature kicked in when he entered the blistering cold of space. No air, no gravity. And he just kept on flying as far away and as fast as he could until he spotted a large comet coming his way. The voice found him again. Blaze! I feel your thought waves, you must not endanger the people of...
Blaze lost him. Just shut up, old man. he thought, unsure if Carnel could hear it. He waited for the comet to come closer, and Blaze blasted off towards it while charging Ki around his right arm. Closing in, he released all the air left in his lungs for one loud roar, just before his Blazing punch collided with the mass.
The comet came to a sudden halt, and its tail seemed to continue into the mound of rock and ice, surrounding the scene with an aura of blue and white. The mass cracked on impact and released a bright flash of light that could be seen from Amizonica easily, followed by a sonic boom colliding with the atmosphere.------------------------------------------
About a half hour passed since the explosion. Blaze was still conscious, floating around with little energy. His scouter had picked up his massive energy drop, and sent for his ship to auto-pilot to his position. The explosion had thrown Blaze quite a ways, however. It would take a little while for it to arrive.
Carnel wouldn't be able to find his location as good now. But Blaze knew Carnel's. Still there... old man?
There was silence for what felt like forever. Blaze closed his eyes and tried to stay calm. Then, Are you finished? Carnel asked.
Blaze sighed in relief. Yes. I had to let it out. But had to get away from people. Blaze said to his father.
Carnel was quiet again. Blaze opened one eye and seen the ship. Dad... what was my real name? The one... Mom gave me?
Carnel answered quicker than Blaze expected. The name given to you by your mother? When we met, she told me many names she had thought of. One was Blaze, to be different. There was also Frost, Slate, Fridgen...
Blaze heard the one. You say Slate? That's the one! he said, remembering that the last word on the translated note was "Sl___", having the rest torn off. Thanks! I'll be home soon, together we'll finish off anyone involved with... what happened. He said.
Soon he'd be aboard the Luna, and head back to Amizonica for a little while. But soon, he'd be heading off. But not to Namek...
