With only a few days left to himself, Yuumaru needed to come up with more abilities. So this entire day would be devoted to him creating two more techniques, one of which would be his most powerful creation. Sitting within his room at the base, this first one would require as much silence as he could gather, so he had all communications except for the most urgent cut off from his room. Ayleen giving a hand with that one.
His legs crossed as he sat against the soft surface of his bed, letting the silence fill the room. From there he took the necessary steps that would allow him to create a new way to fight. Extending the energy for his Ki No Tsurugi, his hands became engulfed with the razor sharp power. Bringing each hand towards the other's wrist, he grabbed onto the energy his hands being cut up in the process.
As the two energies were removed, holding them in the air before him, he began to craft the energies into a more suitable form. Infusing the ki with different type of energy, he tries to craft it into a more powerful blade than just one type of energy can form. Pouring some of his own life force into the ball of ki, creating a more powerful presence from within it.
The use of his life force was having a rather draining effect on him, however, he kept his attention focused on the task at hand. This was far too important to just let it slip by due to fatigue. Even as his eyes unfocused the rest of the room around him, his ears ignoring every sound now. It was as if he had place himself into a sensory deprivation tank, which removed all distractions from his perception.
The first thing he did was to shape the hilt of this new weapon, so that he could hold it without harming himself. The handle itself would be large enough for roughly one and a half hands to fit securely. The guard was next starting with a straight bar that was approximately six inches in length, he began to go through different guard designs. Finally he settled onto a simple design of curving the guard slightly upward to act and putting little sharp points at the ends. It could serve as both offense and defense itself this way if it ever came to the need.
Now it was time for the blade itself which would be easy enough for the design, it would just require extensive work to perfect it. The blade itself would be roughly thirty-nine inches in length the general feel for it was to make it a bastard sword. Something that would be a mix of a long sword and a broad sword, to fuse the two most useful traits for each, into a sword fitting for him. Connecting all the pieces and fusing them together so that they will always remain connected, it was time to finish things up now.
Concentrating on the energy once more, he turned it into a more compact shape, and pressed it into his body. This would allow it to be always with him, but not in plain sight of others, he wanted it to be more of a weapon for when a battle gets serious. Having it openly visible would just not work well with him. With that it was finished, wrapping his hands with bandages, he laid back in his bed to take a small nap. It would do his body well to recover from the strain of creating the sword as well as using his life force to empower it.
