While Ethar was training himself to become a more proficient fighter, He heard rumors about a great ape attacking innocent Kaioshins in a town that was in running distance of where he was now.
Ethar couldnt pass up the chance for another interesting fight, and the chance to help others, so he made his way to the rumored site where the great ape was. When he arrived, he found nothing but rubble, and bodies laying everywhere. There were other Kaioshins trying to help get their brethren out of harms way, but he couldnt see any giant ape. He walked over to one of the Kaioshins, as he asked him "Wheres the Giant ape that caused this?", but the Kaioshin looked at ethar, then to something behnd him that gave him a look of shock and fear, as he grabbed his fallen comrade, and ran for his life, as did other Kaioshins.
"I dont like the looks of this..." he said, as he remembered to check for any large power signatures near him.He closed his eyes and sensed the Ape, but his eyes opened wide in shock as he spun around. "Damn thing was waiting for me!" He said, as his eyes rested on the Great ape. "Graaaaaah!" it roared, as it beat its chest, forcing Ethar to cover his ears.
"Nggh, How can I of been so stupid?!" He said, as he quickly leapt back from the Ape. Ethar was foolish to of not tried to locate the Ape with his sensing abilities before he arrived, and now he was facing the beast head on. "Hmph, how unfortunate you have to fight me." He said, as the Ape's mouth started to glow, as it then fired a beam at him through its mouth.
Having no time to powerup, Ethar quickly threw up his shield, as the beam hit it dead on, and almost broke through by the time the beam ended. "Damn, its strong!" He said, as the Ape seemed to be taking some time to recover from the attack, as Ethar took that chance to powerup. His eyes turned blood red, skin turned more pale, and his canine teeth slowly grew longer as his Ki rose up to its max. "But I will not lose to you!" He said, as the Ape seemed to of recovered from its attack more quickly then Ethar had anticipated.
The Ape swung its massive fists in an attempt to smash Ethar into nothing, but Ethar was much faster then the Ape, as he leapt to his left, avoiding being smashed, as he used this chance to jump up onto the large fist, as he ran up the arm.
He leapt up high, getting above the Apes head. "Lets see how it likes a reversed Halfmoon kick!" Ethar thought, as he spun around, and slammed his foot on the back of the Apeas head. "Graaah!" the beast grunted, as Ethar quickly pushed off to avoid being grabbed.
While he was partially right, the Ape didnt try to grab him, but its swung its head around, and aimed a beam of energy right at him. Seeing the attack coming, with no real defense remaining at that time to block, He thought "Damn, time to try flying for a change" as he tried to force his ki out of his feet like rockets. It was successful, as his ki pushed him more towards the sky, narrowly dodging the attack. "This gives me an idea!" He said, as he used his Ki to make him move towards towards the Ape at a high speed, with his foot out stretched.
The kick connected with the Apes face, sending it tumbling backwards, but it did not fall. No no, this Ape was gonna be difficult to put down. The Ape grabbed a large chunk of a damaged building, as it lifted it up, and threw it at Ethar, but the Noran/Saiyan was no fool. He used his newly discovered flight ability to fly up over the building, as he quickly spun around, and showered it with Ki blasts, making it less of a threat as it turned it into small pieces of debris.
Unfortunately such a distraction allowed the Ape to charge at Ethar, and grab him with both hands, as it attempted to squeeze the life out of him. "Argh....H-Hes Strong... B-But I... Have to be stronger!" He said, as his aura flared up. "WHAT?!" He heard the Ape say, as Ethar quickly charged up his ki, and burst from the Apes grip.
"So it can speak, no matter, Its going down." Ethar said, as he grabbed one of its fingers, and ran down its stomach, and underneath its legs. Such an action caused the Ape to flip forward and land on its back, as Ethar hoped he caused it get knocked out of the fight. But much to his dismay, The ape got up, seemingly unharmed. "Damn it, that didnt even scratch it?!" He said, shocked to see that this Ape was much tougher then the one he fought before. He knew he had no choice but to use his Spirit missile, and wit a target like this, he couldnt afford to miss as he started to charge up his Ki again.
The Ape seemed to have a similar idea, as energy formed in its mouth. "Its all or nothing." Ethar said, as his ki flowed into his arm, making it have a green flame like aura, as he continued to focus his ki, making a ball of energy start to form. "Cant use it all, I need to fly still." He said, as once he had enough energy charged up, he flew right at the Apes face, as he threw his Spirit Missile, aimed right for its mouth a the ape unleashed its own attack.
Ethar took off flying after his Spirit Missile, drawing his sword as he had no more energy for long ranged attacks, but barely enough to fly as the Beam and his Missile collided. Luckily for Ethar, his Spirit missile pushed the Ape's beam back enough to cancel it out all together, as before the Ape could close its mouth, Ethar managed to squeeze into its mouth.
The watching Kaioshins gasped, as they though their savior committed suicide. But after a second, the Ape clutched its throat in terror, as something burst out of the back of its neck.... It was Ethar, as he had seemingly slashed and cut his way through the Ape!
Having no Energy left, Ethar came to a landing behind the Ape and collapsed to a knee. Covered in the Apes blood, He looked behind him to see that he made a massive see through hole in its neck, right were its spine would be, as the Ape fell over, dead.
Ethar's foe was dead, well as dead as a Oozaru from hell could be. He struggled to get himself up to his feet, as he sheathed his sword, and wiped the blood from his face. "Now I need a bath." He said, as he started to walk off towards where he knew a lake was. He was thankful his Spirit Missile worked, or else he would of been another Giant Apes lunch.
