Fudotatakai was taking another walk through the woods of the Yunzabit heights, deciding that he would take it easy today. He had been training a lot in the use of his new Close-In ability, and was quite satisfied with the way things were turning out. He was unable to fly and fire balls of destructive energy, but he was at least capable of covering those weaknesses by getting in to melee range in the blink of an eye. He had been practicing every day for about a week now, and was now at a point where he considered his technique 'mastered'. He figured that a peaceful walk through the forest would do him well, maybe stop for a dip in a river nearby. As he would soon find out, however, his walk would prove to be more eventful that originally anticipated...
After several hours of walking, a certain sound would be heard off in the distance. It wasn't too far away, about a mile west of his position. It was a low, rumbling noise that he soon recognized to be the sound of motorcycles. He could sense that the riders of said vehicles were off fairly decent strength compared to the weakness of the average human. He quickly began running towards the noise, seeing as how there wasn't much of anything better to do. He soon arrived at the top of a nearby hill overlooking a long highway that winded gently through the hills and plains of Yunzabit. Fudo didn't know what cities or towns were connected by the long road, but the group of bikers certainly seemed to be traveling with a purpose. The one up front slowed down as he passed Fudo, looking up at the tall man with an expression of intrigue, suddenly pulling his bike off the asphalt and parking it in the grass. The rest of the group followed, stopping their cycles to get a look at the tall monster of a man.
"Well, well! Lookie here, fellas! I think this big guy fits our description, don't he?" the leader of the group mused aloud. The rest of the gang - about ten in total - nodded in agreement, mumbling to each other. Fudo raised an eyebrow, apparently having been described by someone to the bikers. "Listen here, Demon, I'mma spell something out for ya'. We're bounty hunters, you see? We round up troublemakers like you and turn you in for a nice chunk of cash. If you don't give us any trouble, we'll make things nice and easy for you when we bring you back to town, you hear?" the man explained with a wide grin. The others laughed quietly to themselves and produced various chains and metal bars from their jackets, seeming to prepare themselves for a fight.
Fudotatakai was rather entertained by this and smiled. "You're going to turn me in... Try." he said plainly, tightening his hands into fists and cracking his knuckles audibly. The bikers were unfazed, each dismounting their vehicles and approaching the Demon of Battle in a threatening manner. "You done picked the wrong choice of words, friend... Get 'em, boys!" the gang leader prompted, signalling his men to each dash towards Fudo with the intent to beat him into submission. Not feeling like trying to make this a challenge, Fudo decided to have some fun with the encounter. He sidestepped and weaved casually, avoiding each attack with little difficulty as the men swung their makeshift weapons at him. Knives, chains, clubs, even a wooden plank wrapped in barbed wire. The man were relentless, but Fudo was having fun.
After dodging for several seconds and undoubtedly pissing off some of the bounty hunters, Fudo took a swing with his fist, sending a man flying into his own bike. He followed up with a swift kick, punting another man into his team mate. It was pretty amusing to see the fear in each man's eyes after witnessing three of their comrades reduced to an aching mess. They began to scatter in different directions, attempting to start up their bikes and get away. Fudo was on the offensive, however, dashing about and throwing the men into the ground one by one, chuckling to himself the whole time. In less than a minute, only the leader of the gang remained conscious, and was dangling helplessly by the collar of his shirt, which Fudo was holding onto with a grin.
"Y-You monster! You really are a demon! Let go of me, beast! The boss'll hear about this for sure!" he spouted. Fudotatakai was amused at this, only to blink at the man's mention of his boss. "Hrm? Who is your boss?" Fudo asked curiously. The bounty hunter shook his head madly and desperately tried to punch Fudo, who responded by promptly knocking him out with a single punch, dropping his limp body onto the dirt below. With all said and done, Fudo was now curious to find out who had sent the bounty hunters to look for him. He searched the man's pocket casually, discarding the pack of cigarettes, lighter, pocket knife and wallet he found before opening up a folded piece of paper. It had an address on it, a building located in Satan City. With the paper in hand, Fudo smiled and commandeered one of the motorcycles, speeding down the high way in the direction of his destination.
After several hours of driving, Fudotatakai arrived in Satan City. The sun had gone down, and most people were asleep in their homes. It was at this time that the city's less favorable denizens came out and engaged in their shady activities. Gangs met up to exchange illegal goods, and underground gamblers played for keeps in abandoned warehouses. It was one such warehouse that Fudo was led to by the paper, which detailed how to get inside and meet up with the rest of the bounty hunters. The man dismounted the motorcycle, which was getting quite low on fuel, and walked into the building without a second thought.
He looked around the dark establishment, taking a few moments of slow walking to allow his eyes to get used to the light. Once he was fairly confident in his ability to make his way through the darkness, he stood still and attempted to detect an energy signature. Sure enough, he found several in the warehouse's basement, a few of them much stronger than the bikers he had encountered earlier that day. With a satisfied grin, Fudo walked over to the hidden passageway that led to a staircase. Walking down the staircase, he began to hear multiple voices that were laughing and joking around with each other. Not bothering to see who it was, Fudo kicked down the door to the area, startling the men inside. They all reacted quickly, reaching for their close quarters weapons, which were arguably more effective than the ones used by the bikers earlier in the day. A few of them had heavy baseball bats, and one even had a katana. Out of all the weapons, the one that made Fudo uneasy was a pump action shotgun, wielded by the man who looked to be in charge of the group.
Fudo wasn't afraid of melee weapons, but a gun was something completely different. He didn't know how lethal one would be to him at his current strength, but he wasn't eager to find out. "Ahh, the bastard decided to show up... the leader mused, pumping his firearm triumphantly. "I heard you took down some of my most trusted men... Bad move, showing your face around here after pissing me off." the man said with a glare. Fudo calmly took a step forward, ready to react if the thug made any aggressive movements. "Don't you fucking move, asshole! This here warehouse is our territory... Now that you've found it, we can't let you leave here alive. Any last words?" the man asked with a chuckle. Fudo just took a breath and prepared himself, hoping he would be able to outmaneuver the shotgun in front of him. "... Sorry, time's up, pal!" the man declared suddenly, firing a metal slug from the end of his gun. Fudo's eyes widened and he threw his hand up to shield himself from the ammunition. The result of his defense was... Unexpected.
A loud metallic ring was heard, and Fudo felt very little pain when the round made contact with his hand. His eyebrows furrowed out of confusion as he examined his hands, which were now covered with a hard, lightweight material that seemed to be some kind of armor. Not only did the plating comfortably fit over his hands and feet, but he felt like he was a part of them, like his Ki flowed through them effortlessly. This gave him an idea, and as the thugs watched in horror, Fudo grinned like a madman. He dashed forward, and before the leader of the gangsters could fire again, Fudo delivered a punch to his gut. The punch was accompanied by a burst of energy that almost seemed like a tiny explosion, whose force was powerful enough to send the man flying into the wall behind him, killing him instantly. Fudo made short work of the other few men as the room was filled with the sounds of yelling and grunting, as well as the occasional 'boom' of another powered up punch.
After a minute or so, Fudo exhaled, smiling to himself at a job well done. He took another look at his armor, wishing that he didn't have to wear it all the time, but glad he had a new weapon in his arsenal. Upon making that wish, the armor disappeared. He blinked, attempting to summon it back into existence. He learned that he was able to make the plating appear and disappear on command, and after searching the room for anything of value, he managed to find a nice sum of cash, as well as a couple of green beans inside a well-decorated box. The box came with instructions that told about magical healing properties within the beans known as "Senzu". Shrugging, Fudo pocketed the money and Senzu beans before making his way out of the building and back home for a good night's sleep.
