Eva’s feet touched down on the familiar grass, her eyes glancing up at the extravagant house in front of her. Several weeks ago the android had paid a visit to the owner of the house, a human male that was fond of running her mouth. During their encounter she had “persuaded” the man to keep his mouth or shut, or at least she had thought they had an understanding. Izanagi had in time come to her again though, asking her for another service. If the little green whelp didn’t have access to a seemingly unending supply of zeni she would have said no.
Her orders this time were different. Instead of simply talking with the man she had been told to bring him back to the military base she had left from, but to do it quietly and under the cover of darkness. From what she had been told the man had continues to spew about his political views, which of course went against that of Izanagi, something that the Namekian did not tolerate.
Politics mattered little to Eva herself, but if being slightly involved in them lead to her being paid than she did not plan to object. Approaching the back door of the house she twists the handle to the back door, finding it locked. As quietly as she can she continues to twist, the knob turning past its breaking point as it snaps off in her hand. The noise was louder than she had intended, but it was late and she hoped the fenced in back yard contained most of the sound.
Not wanting to make any further noise she uses her bukujutsu to lift off the ground, floating through the now open doorway and into the house. The structure was set up the same way it had been last time so the android knew exactly where she was headed. Floating through the kitchen and into the elaborately decorated dining room she could only scoff at the excess décor in the room. Why did most in power, or at least with money, waste so much time and resources on decorating their living spaces? That zeni could be put towards something so much more useful.
Floating up the stairs she makes no sound as she rounds the corner and heads towards the man’s bedroom. The door was slightly ajar, making her job all the easier as she gently shoves it open while entering the room. The androids eyes narrow ever so slightly when she lays eyes on the bed…it was empty. Had Izanagi misinformed her that the man would be sleeping at his home tonight? After all she had seen no extra security which had been surprising to her after their last encounter.
Starting to turn Eva feels something sharp bite deep into her side. Before her head can turn to find the source of the sudden sensation electricity starts to rack her form. Normally tazers and such devices used to subdue humans had no effect on her, but this was different. Her body jolts and convulses as her sensors and systems flash alerts, the voltage to high for her system to safely re-route to the ground. After several seconds longer the flow of electricity suddenly stops, the blonde dropping to the ground, small twitches still running through her as her systems try to recalibrate.
”Stupid wench, I had a feeling you might be coming for me again some night. I had this device made just for someone such as you.” Walking up to her side the man grins down at her, a modified stun gun held in both hands as he keeps it leveled at her. ”From our last encounter I realized you were not the average woman, but I made sure to compensate for your surprising strength. I am sure your muscles are not even responding to your commands right now.”
If Eva had indeed been a “woman” he would have been right, but the man had made the mistake of thinking her body was organic and that the charge from the device would rehabilitate her for much longer. The android had no true muscles and no tissue to be damaged, just a system that was already getting itself back online. Without a word her arm snaps up and across, the blade in her wrist lancing out at the same time. The swift motion severs the end of the instrument in his hand, effectively disconnecting the prong in her side from it.
Getting to her feet faster than the man was able to back pedal she lunges for him, grabbing onto the thin night shirt he wore. The android needed no words to convey her anger as she slams the man back into the wall behind him, hard enough to crack the dry wall with the back of his head. The weak little thing slumps almost instantly as he loses consciousness, the weapon dropping from his hands.
Holding his limp form up by the shirt Eva contemplated killing the man right then and there, but she had come for a reason. Besides, Izanagi had requested that he bring him back to the military base and place him in a holding cell. She had no doubt he would not be leaving anytime soon, so perhaps killing him might make things easier on him. Grinding her teeth a little she throws him up over her shoulder and heads back down and out, silently lifting into the cool night air.
Rising high enough to stay out of site Eva also made sure not to rise to high so that the human would not survive the journey. Angry with herself for having been caught off guard by the man she travels as fast as she can, her clothes and his whipping around them in the win. At such a pace it does not take long for her to return to the base she had originally left from.
Landing she heads into the building she had been directed to report too, the guards not even giving a second glance to the blonde female as she walks past them, or the man slung over her shoulder. Reaching the cell she tosses the man inside, not caring that his body slams into the cold concrete floor as he lands. Slamming the door she turns away as she hears the locks click. Eva planned to tell Izanagi to keep her updated on this one’s situation, for when he was done with her she might want to pay him a little visit herself.
(Zeni please!)
