Long ago on the planet Vegeta, there existed a great warrior by the name of Jakairo. He was a high-class Saiyan elite, perhaps one of the Empire's most valuable assets. He was undefeated in combat, and even began to unlock the secrets of the Super Saiyan form. However, he grew tired of the ceaseless fighting, the senseless violence. There came a time when he merely wanted to settle down and start a family. The other Saiyan warriors did not approve of this, however, and began forcing him to fight for the Saiyan army. Fed up with the way things had developed, Jakairo left Vegeta in his private space pod, setting a direct course for the small planet Earth.
When Jakairo arrived, it didn't take long for him to notice how similar humans looked. The only glaring issue with his appearance was his tail, which he soon removed. He adopted the name "Jack Stephens" and quickly learned how to enjoy life on the peaceful new planet. He soon met a beautiful young woman, the two of them falling in love before getting married a few years later. They gave birth to a strong-willed son and decided to name him Kris after Jakairo's father, Kirsho. Kris' tail was removed for the same reason his father's was, and the family continued to grow happily from that point on.
One day, however, when Kris was just five years old, his life would be changed forever. He was out enjoying a walk with his parents when Jack sensed several Saiyan elites closing in on the planet. Hiding his family, he confronted the Saiyans. Surprisingly, they were his friends, who had come to warn him about an incoming invasion. The attack was intended to kill Jakairo, so in order to save the Earth and his family, the man gave his life for the sake of Vegeta's law. A few months later, Kris' mother took her own life, unable to cope with the depression of losing her husband. Kris was filled with sadness, and was under the impression that the Saiyans had killed his father in cold blood. He was left to wander alone for several days before being taken in by an old martial artist named Sohen. It didn't take long for Kris to grow close to his master, and the two soon shared an inseparable bond.
With Sohen's help, Kris won a prestigious title at the Jr. Martial Arts Tournament, having developed the Flash Kick as his own original move. With this newfound strength, he swore to kill six Saiyans before the end of his life in return for what the Empire had done to his father. His path would not be so straightforward, however, when he was suddenly summoned to Central City by the Earth's Guardian, Kami Tenshu. A great battle took place in that city between local fighters and the Majin named Meishi. Soon after, Kris was taken under Kami's wing to train in the ways of the Guardian.
Kami eventually introduced Kris to the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, a mystical room that bent the fabric of space and time to allow a year's worth of training in just a single hour. During this time, Kami explained to Kris the truth of his father's actions, giving the young warrior a new outlook on the concept of revenge and justice. At that moment, his persona changed considerably. He was no longer resentful of the Saiyans. Rather, he began to desire a world without violence, where the evil are treated with the same respect as the good.
The Ancient Lookout's team of trainees soon became aware of a new threat: A powerful being by the name of Suki, who threatened to destroy Earth if it didn't pay a sum of Zeni. Kami was lucky enough to have paid the sum and create a set of DragonBalls, but in the battles to come, Kris was not so fortunate. He perished in a desperate attempt to fend off Suki's wrath long enough to buy some extra time for his companions.
And so, Kris' life after life began...

- Bukujutsu: Kris uses Ki to propel himself through the air, allowing him to fly.
- Crasher Ball: A large ball of Ki is formed in the palm of his hand before condensing itself, increasing its destructive power.
- Flash Kick: Kris uses a form of Bukujutsu to speed up one of his legs to incredible speeds, unleashing a barrage of kicks that are usually difficult to defend against.
- Kiaioh Sutoraiki: By expertly transferring his body's kinetic energy, Kris is able to emit the full force of a punch simply by touching an opponent. This allows him to either deliver a punch from point blank range, or double the effectiveness of a proper punch.
- Bikkuri-Sho: A technique taught to Kris by Kami. The attack involves engulfing one's arms in crackling sleeves of Ki. Though the attack wears on its user's muscles, it causes an intense shock to anyone it touches. The Bikkuri can also be fired a distance to extended its range and create a large explosion. The power of the attack is based on how long it is charged between 1-5 posts. At 4 posts, Kris will lose feeling in his arm after using the attack. At 5 posts, his arm becomes unusable for a time. If the attack is charged for 6 turns, the arm is rendered completely and utterly useless, essentially dying.
- Ki Awakening: Kris searches deep within himself to pull out a hidden reservoir of Ki, giving him a x3 bonus. Overusing the technique is hazardous, as it uses up enough Ki to drain the body of its reserves. If it is active when Kris falls unconscious or is defeated, it is likely that he will die.
