:Techniques:
Bukujutsu: The ability to fly with one's ki.
Zanzoken: The user can move so fast he leaves an after-image, While attacking from another standpoint.
Zenzoken: An offensive variation of Zanzoken. The technique propels the user straight forward towards his target, at speeds faster than the eyes can follow. Like Zanzoken it leaves an afterimage at the point of initiation. Along with allowing the user to close mid range distances almost instantly the sheer momentum gathered while moving can be transferred directly into the fighters next attack, great amplifying the impact of the attack. The downside to Zenzoken is the fact it is a direct attack and its course cannot be altered, leaving the user open to an opponent who possesses significantly more power or speed.
Nova: Channeling Ki into his hand Ark is then able to release it against the ground, sending out a wave of force around his form. Nova is a mostly defensive move that is effective against single opponents or multiple foes since it blasts out in a complete circle around him. Depending how much Ki is put into the attack it can also damage whatever surface it is being used on.
Shockwave - From his palm Ark is able to release a barely visible wave of Ki. Although the attack does little damage to any it strikes it contains enough force to knock most from their feet and deflect some Ki based attacks.
Barrier: This purely defensive technique forms a Ki-shield around the body that protects the user from Ki or similar attacks. There are two forms of this maneuver. One is a spherical shield that surrounds the body, the other is more of a coating of the body.
Force Palm: This technique works in tandem with ones physical strikes. Upon striking with an open palm the user can force his Ki to rush from the palm to amplify the impact of the blow

:History:
Ark’s life has been for the most part normal. Born on Earth to a pair of what he thought were average folk the young man knew nothing of his partial Saiyan heritage. His parents, Jeska and Owin knew of his partial alien lineage, but chose not to tell him. Their reasoning was in the hopes that he would find a more gentle life then most those with Saiyan blood tended to enjoy, no matter how minimal that percentage may be. Growing up like most humans he had enjoyed his life until now, getting into martial arts at a young age simply for the enjoyment of the discipline. For him it was all about physical training and once discovered the ability to control and feel the flow of his Ki. As his strength grew he realized there was more to Ki then just the balance of one’s inner self, he found that he could actually manifest it in the form of energy.
Growing up Ark spent most of his life with his family, living at home and taking part in local martial arts competitions he found that he was getting stronger, better at fighting. Due to his increasing talents he found himself starting to get noticed in the competitions, unwanted attention being directed at him. As more and more locals came to watch the competitions he entered Ark found himself enjoying them even less, not wanting to be bothered with the growing crowds. He had decided it was time to move on from his small town.
At the age of 18 Ark would wish his parents well he has set off on the road, looking for those that can further his knowledge. Having no specific destination he is still on the road, not really having a plan, but hoping that fate will lead him down a solid path full of knowledge and relaxation. After all, having to fight someone was always so troublesome, wasn’t it just easier to talk things out or settle it over a game of chess?
Enjoying a nice relaxing day in a park Ark would meet a man, Rushi Diki, that was similar in nature to him, easy going and for the most part care free. In the coming weeks the two would spend more time together, finding out they were both practitioners of the martial arts, discussing much on their beliefs of the true definition of being a Master martial artist. Quickly becoming friends Rushi would invite Ark to live with him, offering him room and board in return for hold around his home. Upon arrival to the Rushi’s homestead Ark would realize the man was not as simply as he had originally seemed. The older gentleman lived in an elaborate home with a full section in the back dedicated to the training of various forms of martial arts. The next five years ended up being full of much more than chores and yard work. As it turns out Rushi Diki was actually Master Rushi Diki and offered to teach Ark what he could when it came to martial arts. Over the years Ark learned much from Master Diki, taking his skills beyond what he believed to be possible. To this day he has not been tested in real combat, only having sparred with Rushi over the years.
Never having been one for actually fighting against others beyond simple sparring matches Ark has not yet grasped the concept of using his Ki for ranged attacks in the form of blasts or beams. Instead he learned to use it to shield his body from attacks and in time use it to lift himself from the ground and fly with what he came to learn was called Bukujutsu. Although he stays away from fights if at all possible he has learned to use his Ki in one offensive way. With a technique he has started to call the Force Palm technique he has found that by channeling his Ki through his arm he can greatly increase the force of his open handed strikes, using his Ki to add more force to the blows.
Sadly Ark would not get to complete his training with Rushi, the old man having been towards the end of his years when they had first met. Although Ark was saddened by the man’s death he felt no regret in the loss, having enjoyed their friendship for the five years it had lasted. In his will Rushi left all that was his to Ark as a token of friendship. Ark of course appreciated the show of friendship, but knew that he could not remain at the grounds, nor did he believe he could best utilize the funds that had been left to him. Instead he turned control of the grounds over to a local martial arts school, also leaving the rest of the man’s estate to them so that they could further the teachings of martial arts to any that wished to come. However, there was one thing Ark spent some of the money on. Through his talks with Rushi he had learned more of the race call Namekians. From what Rushi had told him a good number of them lived on the planet Namek and it tended to be a rather peaceful place. Having enjoyed the peaceful years under Rushi’s tutelage Ark wanted to go to namek. Taking just enough money to get a space capsule for the trip Ark made one more quick stop at home to inform his parents where he was going before starting off on the longest trip so far in his rather short life.
The trip itself was a peaceful venture, no one to bother or challenge him in space. Never having traveled like this before meant the whole concept of space travel was new to him...and so was the concept of programming in the coordinates. Ark would never be sure what he had done wrong, but when it came to landing on Namek things did not go as smoothly as he had hopes. He of course survived, but by the time he pull himself from the wreckage of his ship it was quite obvious that it would never fly again. For the next year Ark spent most of his time out in the plain, meditation and training in the relative quite that Namek had to offer. He had taken a couple of trips into the Ancient City in order to get supplies or simply to get some interaction with other individuals, but for the most part he spent his time alone. After all, one of the best ways to avoid unnecessary fighting was to avoid the people that would cause it right?
