(The events in this story have been made as factual as possible. While some core things have changed in order to explain character disappearance, or battle success, the core of the story has remained intact, enjoy.)
Prologue
As most stories do, this one ties together the bond of several dozen fighters, hero's, villain's, and lovers. Their fates bond together in the end by their strife for justice, power, and peace. The road to their goals have been long and bitter, and unlike the stories of their ancestors, has not left them as winners of folk lore, but instead the key players in an unending drama. And so, saga by saga, we will delve into the plot, and characters of the World of Dragonball; Resurrection.
Galactic Tournament Round 1
From around the universe beackons could be seen, driven into the crust of each planet that was involved. A secret beneficiery was hosting a universal tournament of champions. Where the best the planets had to offer were invited. Millions showed up to the preliminaries of this tournament, and yet only a select hand full would be chosen.
The first fight involved a simple demon, Dao Midnight as he called himself, and a far more established fighter.... Ryota, captain of the demon's Galleon.
Known for their mercenary work, the D.G as they were called were merciless and at times cruel in the manner in which they achieved their goals.
It took no effort at all for Ryota to show his power, defeating the young demon, stopped only by the tournament rules, otherwise death would have surely followed.
The second round consisted of two creatures, each boasting their own talents. An alien by the name of Gerrek, and a soft spoken demon by the name of Satin. Despite her name, Satin was a rather apathetic demon, and her laziness would get the better of her as Gerrek stole the win. This was not however...the ending of Satin's tale.
Next up, Carmine, a creation of the Demon's Galleon, an Android capable of devious inception of the mind and abilities of others. He quickly dispatched his opponent. Although the man did not die in round, his opponent would die later due to complications in surgery, the Android had warped his mind beyond a point of return.
Ikezu was a creature of brute strength. Similar to a lion in looks, and yet bipedal, his ferocity proved dangerous in battle, especially against Antary. Antary was a lower class saiyan. Having left his home of Vegeta long ago, this saiyan represented Earth. The first Saiyan fight began, and as expected would be the bloodiest yet. Antary would fall to the mighty alien beast, but neither of their stories would end in this chaotic battle. There was yet more to be seen.
Next was a battle that if you had blinked, you would have missed it. The introduction of Boliko Koregutsu, the saiyan king. His awesome might brought warriors to their knee's and this round was no different. The announcer didn't have a chance to say the other fighters name, before the King ruthlessly blew him off the arena steps. The warrior would live, as per the rules. But the battle was won.
The final bout in the first round would prove the most interesting. A young brunette by the name of Nam stepped out onto the field for combat. Nam was a young trainee from Earth. Looking for fame, and a little money, this young man was about to learn just how important he truly was in the grand scheme of things.
Equally as intense was Zach, a farm boy turned Victory prodigy. His tale was a long and sad one, ultimately leading to his power being more than enough to land him as one of the tournament favorites. The two fought, giving it their all in what was no doubt the most impressive round of the tournament. Zach coming out the narrow victor.
This allowed them to move into round two...but back on earth, something much more sinister was happening.
