Gray, the color of compromise, with red sprayed passionately at its limits. Black lightning-fast steaks running sporadically, shielding his body as if attempting to contain and bottle something up, like the fleeting drift of one's hidden intentions.

:History:
Hi, my name is Rei-Zoko. Selsius is my best friend. He's actually quite amazing once you get to know him. Unlike other Arcosian's he is very compassionate and loving. He picked me up from the recesses of hell and shed light to my cruel world with his kindness. I work as a scientist in The World Trade Organization, but despite the new order established by Lady Chillyn, discrimination against the masses still lurks in the heart of Arcose. Others would always stomp over me like trash and kick me in the dirt, but maybe that's all I ever deserve. Regardless, there was a single person who came out from the crowd and lent me a genuine hand to grasp; that person was Selsius and he brought new life to my broken world.
Selsius would always give a helping hand to those in need, and the funniest thing about it is that he does so in that same bored expression; never expecting anything in return, never trying to prove something, he was just... Selsius... From the moment we first met, he told me to leave him alone, but I insisted on following him and he would groan in return. Now, there's not a single moment in the world I don't spend time with him -except for working hours. My research involves developing new technology for the WTO to use, but my hobby is history and psychology; I love it and it's fascinating! But enough about that...
Like many other Arcosians, they were usually home schooled by their parents; forced to learn all kinds of things in order to keep up the family name. Selsius isn't all that strong, but he's pretty smart and excels when it comes to the mind; though he may be clueless on many other things. His family isn't all that high-up either, just a normal breed. They're distant -which isn't odd-, barely sharing a meal through the day; that's while they're stilling living under the same roof. Soon enough, Selsius would move out and live on his own like every other Arcosian. But he's not completely alone because he's got me, and although he may not admit it, he enjoys my company.
Arcosians don't really do anything other than throw around demands. But I've never seen Selsius do that, he never asked for anything -and whenever I did something as simple as offer him a glass of water, I could hear him utter the words 'thank you' under his breath. Although, after years of knowing each other, I barely really know anything at all. He's a closed book one must decipher, and lucky for him, I love puzzles. It seemed to me that he desired something, he wanted to do something; though I could never find out just what it was. He'd stare into the distance with those hardened eyes and speak. He never looked at me, so I was never sure whether he was speaking to me or talking to himself. What ever the case, I listened.
Selsius spoke about how Arcosians were a race as cold as the planet they were born on. He would explain how ice seemed to flow through the veins under their thick hide and admitted he had never seen an Arcosian's heart before. I didn't understand it, but I thought I might take him to the lab one day to show him one... I would always look at him perplexed as he stared into the distance and observed the paranoid Arcosians walking on the street. The city was silent, full of suspicion and weariness, a rebellion forming in the shadows against the reign of Lady Chillyn. That's what it meant to be ruler of Arcose; to breed an entire population of shady individuals plotting against your life. It wasn't like the Kings and Queens of other civilizations where they were admired and worshipped by their followers like a church.
It wasn't until recently, that I finally realized that Selsius had been hiding something. What it was I couldn't know, but he was broken, just as I was from the moment we first met...

"Zoko..."
"Yes, Selsius?"
"Us Arcosians... we're a terrible bunch, aren't we..."
"What...?"
