I had to make a hard choice. I can't spend any more time roleplaying on this or any site. On top of a mountain of personal issues I don't want to go into right now, which is the greatest deathblow to my ability to continue as a player and as an admin here, I feel the need to put whatever free time and energy into original writing such as the several novel and short story ideas I'm trying to do.
Henceforth, Serori is the head admin. He knows what he's doing as much as I ever did.
Sorry to have to leave like this, I don't really want to.

Whether or not I'm the first person to reply, I don't care. I just want to say something to you.
I'm not the greatest with words, by all means. I can write a mean post, but when it comes to complimenting, congratulating, saying goodbye, my vocabulary just fails.
You've been a great admin, Boliko. You stuck through thick and thin, and I realise that you've made mistakes, some of which I genuinely disliked you for, nobody is perfect. You have proven to me, and hopefully to all of us, that you were an amazing administrator. I personally will miss you greatly, but would also like to thank you for allowing me the honor of head admin. I will not allow this ship to sink. Thank you very much for all you've done to the site, through the tough and the easy. You've been a great friend, admin, and player, and you'll be severely missed.

Dude, I've been an ass at times. Never got to know you too well. There was a rumor going around that I didn't like you, I just wana say it wasn't exactly true. I just didn't know you well enough. That's my fault largely. However, you will still be missed here, even by me. I can't send you mail that you'll never read anymore xD.
Seriously, it sucks you're leaving, dude, and I'm not just saying that.

I support you 100% man, and honestly can't think of anything you've ever said or done that would give me even the slightest reason to dislike you ((i'm still confused why some people speak as if you've done something bad. Anyone care to pm me on Bazantar and tell me exactly what's up there? It all seems rather convoluted from what i managed to piece together...)). Either way, I remember when i realised just how much of a time-sink RPing can really be XD, so if you have other priorities then it's definitely something to give weight. You've been at this for quite a long time, it's understandable that other projects have fallen by the way-side. However, I will say - you don't actually have to leave completely. Pick yourself a nice obscure support character, and lurk on the backburner. You obviously care a lot about this place, and we all enjoy having you around, even if it ends up not being as regularly as in the past. Just give it some thought. Here's also hoping serori can live up to the bar you set  being head admin is 'easy', being a good head admin is hard. Countess DB RP forums have been set up, but none I have seen came close to this place. It's a steep up hill battle to pull one of these sites out of the quagmire and keep it from sinking back in(a certain monty python skit about castles and swamps comes to mind), and from what i hear the early days were all down to your grit and dedication as what kept this place afloat. I think you have your work cut out for you Ser, but it's good to know this place is still going, and as I've mentioned elsewhere, you are a very capable leader. New plots are being organised, and as long as the admin are proactive I can see this place growing anew. |
