Chrono was a sickly child born with ashma and allergys that did not let him play outside, and his mom and dad made up stories about him and time travel as a kid. During his 12th birthday he had escaped his room to play outside in a rainstorm. As his mom and dad tried to find him he hid away inside a tall tree to avoid having to go back inside. As he hid the air began to grow cold. Soon he started to cough and gasp for air. Just as he was about to go into asthmatic shock a stray lightning bolt struck the tree and the child inside. His parents found there child clinging to life. In a last ditch effort they head to the abandoned Korin tower to seek the help of Kami. As Chrono's mom waited on Chrono at the base his dad, Kite began to climb the impossible tower. After three days Chrono's dad could climb no further and began to weep for the fate of his son as the top of the tower was still further than he could see. Nearly giving up he prayed to the Kais and then in the crack of the tower he discovered a ancient senzu bean. As if a gift from the gods he took the bean down to his near dead son. The Bean cured Chrono and imparted a eccense of Lightning into the young child. Chrono no longer suffered through the pains and ills of his childhood and began to train on his own to buy back lost time.

- Lightning-forces electric chi into the tip of Chrono's sword. He can unleash it when it hits a enemy.
- Wind Slash-unleashes a sword slash of such speed that a wind cuts through the opponent from a distance.
- Cyclone-Cyclone has Chrono spin in the air with his sword creating a deadly wheel of blades.
