Shin was in his room peacefully sitting on his bed. It had been some tie since the higher kaioshin banished him to solitary confinement for his actions, but now that he could roam around he would take full advantage. Shin linked himself to Elias and began to speak to him.
"Elias, It's been a long while since I last did any type of fighting. I fear I've grown quite weak from my previous power. I want to spar you today if you can manage it. Meet me in a bit if you are feeling up to it. Besides, you know we have dire things to discuss."
Shin finally leaves his home and steps out into the constant sunshine of heaven. There he saw Elias standing and waiting for what was sure to be a fun time. Shin stepped forward as he locked eyes with Elias. It was time for shin to see just how rusty he'd become.
Shin started the match by firing three ki blasts. One from the front, one from the right, and the last from the left. Elias deflects the first, cartwheels over the second, and he deflects the last one back at Shin. Shin sees the incoming ki blast and extends his hand grabbing it and tossing it down into the cloud. A small smoke cloud appeared and the two kai's looked at each other with a smile.
Elias charged in with a smooth elbow. Shin quickly ducks below it and throws a back hand fist to Shin's face. Elias sways left slapping the hand back as Shin comes in with a knee to Elias face. Elias quickly drops a powerful elbow down upon the knee as a set up for his counter attack. The elbow forces the knee back down and knocks Shin off balance. Elias quickly launches his head right under the chin of Shin. Shin groans in pain as he is knocked a few steps back. Elias then performs a spinning back kick aimed at the temple of Shin. Shin uses his forearm to block the attack and as Elias turns around he is met by a fist to his chest. Elias slides back through the clouds on impact.
"You sure you've grown rusty? I sure can't tell because you move like the Shin I remember.""
Shin smiles at Elias. "If I were truly in top form, you wouldn't have the upper hand right now now would you?"
The two share a hearty laugh, but the battle was not forgotten. Shin rushes in as Elias braces for the attack. Elias flings his left hand out and uses telekinesis to launch a few pebbles at Shin. Shin slaps them away, but as he was doing so Elias fires a blast directly at him. Shin stopped himself just in time to activate his ki barrier. The blast cover Shin completely and Elias assumed he had won. As the smoke cleared however he would know that this was not the case.
Shin had both hands out to his side and he was encased in a golden transparent orb. It was damaged a bit as his ki barrier wasn't that powerful, but what a site it was. Elias charges at the ki barrier with a wild fist. Shin releases his Ki barrier and duck under the punch landing an uppercut to the abdomen. Elias folds over the punch and Shin follows the uppercut with a smooth spinning jump kick sending Elias skidding back. Elias rubs his left cheek as he smiles at Elias. The two nod and bows to each other because of the great spar.
The two began to walk together and Elias filled him in on the happenings of Heaven.
"Well Shin there isn't much to report. I mean heaven is peaceful and Hell isn't having any issues. Shoot, even the demon realm is shockingly quiet. I almost think there is no point to Heaven's Watchful Eye."
Shin shoots a piercing look at Elias. "The purpose of Heaven's Watchful Eye is to be aware of all things. My great ancestor created the group ages ago. He was later primed and ready to be promoted to Eastern Kaioshin, but it never came to be. He died fighting a threat that HE discovered. I just want to honor him the right way and to keep the realms as peaceful as possible. Precisely ours above all because I have no desire to be locked inside my home anymore."
"Oh my! Did the hard headed Shin Buriketsai learn his lesson? This is amazing indeed?"
Shin punches Elias in his arm as the two laugh. "If that was the case then Heaven's Watchful Eye wouldn't exist."
Shin pats Elias on the back and heads back to his home. From the magical pond of water rises clothing that were truly fit for a high kaioshin, yet Shin was not. The clothing were gold and platinum plated with the fabric holding an illuminating bright shin to it. Shin had created exactly what he wanted. If he continued with he secret study of the powers of magic then he could use these in battle one day.
