Colonel Baruu Cobb (Deck of 52)

It turns out it wasn't hard to find work in Central City. It was just that Blaze wanted something that he could apply his power towards. Nobody seemed to have a need for an Acrosian with major battle training though. Blaze was walking down the sidewalk before he fell into a sidewalk bench and leaned his head back.

"Uuuugh. So bored... need money..."
He mumbled to himself.

He wanted to buy a ship and be able to go whenever he wanted. Money was an issue right now... he could buy a pod, but he hated them. He wanted an actual ship like he used to have long ago. It wasn't long when a man in a long tan coat approached him. He had grey hair and a grey beard, wearing aviator sunglasses and was smoking a rather large cigar.

"So, you're the one that's been looking for some... 'work'?"

Blaze looked up at him, crossing his arms.

"Gimmie your definition of 'work', bud."

The man took a draw off the cigar and held it in as he sat down and relaxed.He exhaled.
"I got this guy... a dirtbag working for some Saiyan Supremmisist group. Real crazy types."
He looked over to blaze and tapped some ash off the cigar.
"I want this guy... the dirtbag... taken down. Down as in dead. Why is none of your business, I'll just say you'll be making a difference. And getting payed."

Blaze leaned back, mimicking the man's pose only with his arms crossed.
"Well, how much are we talking?"

The man reached into his coat and pulled out a file folder. God knows how he fit it in there, Blaze didn't care. He just took it and opened it up to get a look. Colonel 'Baruu Cobb'. He was a typical Saiyan, six and a half feet tall with a muscular build and wore a full set of black and red Saiyan armor with a cape. He had sort-of 'wolverine' style hair and one good eye. Inside was also an envelope.

The envelope read "Half now, half later" on the front, and contained a wad of Zeni. Blaze looked up at the guy... he was gone. Sitting on the bench were two things... a new cigar and something that made no sense. a playing card.

The Seven of Spades.

Turns out Cobb had been smuggling weapons and other illegal goods onto earth for the Red Pants Army. Cobb was an old friend of one of the RPA generals, some other Saiyan dude. It wasn't going to cripple the RPA, but this would put a wrench in their gears for a while.

Blaze drifted slowly through the woods. Dead of night; he wore black jeans with his black body armor and a set of forearm guards. He kept his power suppressed as to keep from alerting the nearby base. If he was detected, they'd likely assume him to be a wolf or a deer, something of that nature. But it wasn't going to last long. Blaze was shaking all over...

A Saiyan was leaning against a post near the front entrance gates of the base. He turned his head when his scouter beeped, looking at the Acrosian about fifty feet from him. He turned to Blaze and shouted.

"Hey! Hey you! This area is restricted! Violators will be shot, and survivors will be shot again!"

Blaze didn't move. Something was up... he was shuttering all over. There was a problem. Blaze had spent far too much time in his fourth form at low levels. Suppressing his power all the time was taking it's toll... like a menthos in a soda bottle, jammed in a paint shaker. It was going to happen eventually, and right now there were no innocent people around for miles!

The Saiyan's scouter beeped as another Saiyan arrived.

"Hey, what's the scouter say about his po-"

Blaze released a loud roar as his aura exploded into a huge white flame around him, sending out a shockwave of energy around him. Anything not rooted down became a projectile and the two Saiyans threw their arms up to block the debris and blinding light. The scouter went insane.



"What!? His power is over three hundred fucking thousand! How could-"

The two men were cut off when a giant wave of energy erased them from this world. Their screams were drowned out by Blaze's own roar, his rage building to a maximum from the excessive energy. Alarms went off as a swarm of Saiyans converged on Blaze. The Acrosian came barreling through a cloud of dust and slammed an open hand into a man's throat, turning to throw him into another. Then, he smashed another away with a spin r
from his tail and took a blow to the ribs from a sneaky Saiyan to the right. Blaze lashed out with a kick that resulted in a sickening crunch of his skull.

An energy blast rang out and Blaze was hit directly. The Saiyan above laughed... until the dust cleared and Blaze was looking up at him completely unscathed. The man's jaw dropped just as Blaze vanished. He appeared behind the Saiyan and drove a Ki blade through his back, then turned to throw him down to the ground. Blaze then released a flurry of Ki blasts down on the men below. They realized then... they were fucked. Straight up.

Cobb came onto the scene only to see a massacre had erupted within under a minute! He roared and threw a hand up in the air, creating a ball of blue energy. He fired it into the air, witch got Blaze's attention. Blaze's gaze followed the sphere into the sky... he'd seen it before on Namek years ago. The first Saiyan he'd had a real fight with had used it. Something bad followed...

Cobb pulled out sunglasses and put them on as he chuckled and watched. The remaining Saiyan warriors began to growl and yell, getting stronger and stronger. Then... they grew in size! A small army of Oozaru stood before Blaze, enough of them to annihilate a city! Blaze just roared back, charging in head on. He had feared these things at one time. Now... they are just bigger targets!

They fired blasts from their mouth's or tried grabbing him; Blaze weaved between attacks and came up on one. He slammed a fist between it's eyes and sprung off, finishing it with a blast to the head. He whipped around, throwing out his Ki blades again and had to use them to defend another mouth blast. He bushed through it, going right into the giant ape's mouth and into it's throat. The Saiyan grabbed at his throat and coughed a couple times before a ring of Ki and blood spun out from around his neck.

The Oozaru fell in two pieces as Blaze blasted out from the mess, covered in blood. His clothing and armor had been completely incinerated. He didn't really care, he had his eyes set on another Oozaru. It timed it's attack well and slammed both hands around the acrosian, trying to crush him like a fly. Blaze stopped quick and had thrown both hands out, stopping the crushing action completely. His blades had peirced through the ape's hands and it released a loud roar of pain.

Blaze retracted the blades, blasting himself forward with energy charging around his fist. He targeted the Oozaru's gut...

"Blaaaze..."

"Ziiiiing..."

"PUUUUNCH!"

His fist slammed into the ape with the might of hi full power. Blaze followed through, the power launching the ape upward with Blaze still pushing him upward. He came closer and closer to the false moon, throwing his arm, and also the Oozaru, upward into the ball as the ape roared out of pain. It collided with the mass of energy.

A huge explosion shook the landscape. Nothing remained of the Oozaru, and the remaining Saiyans below reverted back. They turned to Baruu Cobb.

"We need to run! There is no way to beat him, sir!"

Cobb gritted his teeth. The shockwave from the explosion had caused the lenses in his shades to spider-crack... but Cobb wasn't done yet. He watched the Acrosain fall down, slamming into the ground away from them. Cobb grabbed his shades, ripping them off and tossing them aside.

"You worthless sack of lizard shit! You're in my base, kille'n my dudes!? I'm going to tear your damned head off and drink a case of Shokowizer from your skull!"

Blaze just glared. He began to power up his energy. Cobb wanted a reply, but got none. He got even angrier.

"You won't even speak to me!? How dare you! Useless fucking wretch, I'll enjoy erasing you from existence!"

With that, Baruu Cobb charged up an attack to use against Blaze, energy gathering in both hands. Blaze just kept gathering power into his own body. One of the Saiyans was on his scouter, calculating their power levels. He backed away and ran off. Another followed, then another. The ones who stayed charged up as well, then with a joint roar of Saiyan Superiority, they unleashed a huge golden wave of energy at Blaze. It hit him directly, carving a fissure into the forest and ground behind him. They exhausted their power and began to accept victory.

The dust cleared. There stood Blaze, a little singed, but still very much alive and very angry. They gasped in disbelief. Cobb growled.

"I- Th- Wha- Impossible! We... we hit you with everything we've got! JUST DIE!"

He charged Blaze head on. Blaze watched him get closer and closer, then once he was in front of him about to attack, he threw his power into full charge. The energy threw Cobb away as Blaze not only reached his maximum, but charged his energy around his body as well! Then Blaze targeted Cobb.

This was the end.

"HRRRAAAAAAHHHH!!!"

Blaze released the loud roar and threw his right arm out in front of him, instantly firing a fully charged super energy wave at Cobb with all that power he had charged as extra in his body! The huge white blast was bigger than anything Baruu Cobb or any of the others had ever seen... it was mere moments before they were hit and turned to mere ash along with a good portion of the base they were in. The energy wave tore through the forest and into the distance, likely finding it's way safely off the planet.

He stood there for a few moments after that, still holding his arm out straight and breathing hard. Mission complete, he figured. He let his arm drop to his side, straightening out and looked around. It was a mess. Ash, blood, bodies, rubble, charred forest and fissures in the ground...

This was why he kept his full power hidden.

Blaze turned and walked off into the forest. He felt so much better now that he'd gotten that out. He wouldn't be a threat to anyone now for a while... and next time he feels it coming on, he could always try to find the mysterious stranger again and ask for work.

Requesting new Tech: Raging Blast- Also called 'Death Cannon', or 'I'm the one who will destroy you!'. A huge one handed energy wave that is fired from energy gathered into one's body. This attack deals incredible damage, but can only be used at peak power and when the user experiences an incredible level of anger or as a response to a dire need.
-Equivilant to a 1 post extra charge in damage.
