:History:
Ren'ai was born in the demon realm created by two Makaioshin, but her birth was different, she and her twin were the youngest of the king and his favorite mate of the time and the polar opposite of one another. Ren'ai was a phenomenon, as was her brother, the pure essence of light while her brother was simply all darkness and evil intent. Her father recognized this and being a reasonable king chose to see how his children's lives would play out rather than kill them though it was an option since had many heirs. As the two grew it was apparent that their personalities matched their embodiment, Fuzen was harsh and enjoyed hurting or playing games with those around him while Ren'ai was gentle and chose to heal rather than hurt those near her. Despite being a 'typical' demon the king found himself favoring his daughter, the gentle light she seemed to exude always a comfort in a world of complete darkness and her light but sweet mannerisms were enjoyable.
So Ren'ai was allowed to grow in her own respect, learning better how to heal using natural methods such as herbs rather than finicky and possibly volatile magic. At her father's request of course she was taught how to use her magic and powers for the offensive though she abhorred the idea she submitted to make him happy and learned her offensive abilities rather well under his tutelage. When she came of age for a demon her father sent her on her own personal journey to really show her worthiness to live, she was to delve into the darker regions of their home realm and survive for three weeks. Her three weeks in the underbelly were trying, she'd been sent to the worst of the worst, a network of caves filled with mindless feral demons that only sought to eat or partake of her flesh but she forced herself to stay. In her second week she would fall into dire straights, mobbed by a group of imps that wished to devour her and cornered, exhausted of ki, she tried to use her magic in desperation but nothing came. When she was sure they would kill her a searing pain ripped from her chest and while clutching it she felt a firm 'hilt' in her hand, when she'd pulled at it in any attempt to keep herself alive she withdrew Despair, a scythe that appeared to be of solid black stone and faintly glowing blue crystal. The weapon was natural in her hands and her power suddenly renewed she cut the imps to the ground and departed quickly to notify her father who was pleased to hear the news, it had been his intent all along for her to find this weapon and from then on she honed her skills with it. The scythe is never far as it's an extension of herself, resting dormant inside of her boy when not in use and withdrawn with a blinding white light and a hand over her heart.
All the while her twin watched and grew jealous, treating her poorly in the only way he knew how, under the guise of having a loving sibling relationship with veiled verbal and physical abuse. Their father never noticed because her brother was crafty and never left marks on her, or simply toyed with her emotions and mind rather than hurting her physically. Ren'ai however would never hurt him in return and so their relationship was cemented and she accepted his abuse, all the while only pitying him instead of hating him.
When her brother grew even more chaotic and violent her father was forced to take action against him, beseeching Ren'ai to lock him away in a sealed realm that her powers could create. Her specialty had revealed itself early on, she'd sealed away others before, mostly her father's rivals when they had dared challenge him. She found she could use mirrors as gateways to realms all their own, dark realms full of nothing but the absence of light, like some horrible purgatory. She was grudging at first to condemn her brother to such a fate but not even she could watch the carnage he had wreaked across the realm and one night when he returned they were waiting for him. He was sealed away with a ritual that they had prepared for the day that he had been away, and his howl of anger and betrayal was enough to break her heart but not enough to keep her from sealing him away. After her brother was sealed an anger took hold of her father's people over the destruction he had wrought and they wrested him from power in the only way demons do.
He was killed and the one who did so took his place, Ren'ai herself was fated to become one of the new king's harem but she fled instead, hiding away as best she could and driving the new King mad in the process. Her ability to be used a ki conduit wasn't something the King wanted to lose from his arsenal and definitely not something he wanted just wandering around his kingdom where his rivals could get it. Her defiance was no way to start a reign and he hunted her from the start, many attribute his preoccupation with her as the reason to his eventual downfall and she was branded bad luck by any new reigning King until finally she faded into anonymity when enough time had passed.
She was grateful to be forgotten, though she had left her mother behind she dared not go back near the palace to check on her lest she was once again remembered and caught on the spot. They would execute her, she was almost certain of it, so she instead kept her head low but even then she could go nowhere without faint whispers and eventually her decision would come to pass. She would leave. She didn't know exactly when she could escape but there were worlds beyond the demon realm and she would go to one, strike out in a new place where her presence wasn't a curse to the monarchy. Where she could heal again. She bided her time patiently, living in seclusion until her chance presented itself in the form of a slight crack in the otherwise tight seal of the demon realm, it was her chance and she wouldn't be denied that.
She fought her way through any opposition, hating the violence she had to use but she had no choice if she wished to leave and she refused to stay any longer. She wouldn't be subject to hiding anymore with nothing but her mirror for comfort and companionship, she had never belonged here in the first place, that much had always been obvious to her and her parents whom had made herself and her twin. The door itself was easy enough to break through and once she was through that was it, the world beyond was completely different from what she'd really expected but it was a pleasant surprise for the most part. This had been the Earth she'd watched when she was lonely, now she couldn't just see it but she could touch it, smell it, taste it even but her knowlege of current affairs is slim at best leaving her nothing but her good intentions to pave her path with.

- White Lightning - Like her brother Ren'ai's ki manifest itself in the form of a white lightning type energy. She uses it offensively against those that wish her harm. Her basic attack is like your average ki blast but instead of being a blast it is a stream of "lightning" that runs from her fingertips to her target. She can only channel the attack in its weakened state for 30 second bursts that cause minimal to moderate damage.
- Storm of Purity - Her highest damage attack, it requires her to charge up her ki for a post before her discharging it in a wave of many tendrils of lightning that will bounce along the ground until they hit their target and proceed to do damage until she has exhausted her stored energy for the attack or the contact is broken by the opponents own expelling of a large amount of ki.
- Cage of Purity - A defensive ability, Ren'ai is able to shoot up a barrier of her white ki, though there appear to be gaps the "lightning" shifts and moves like a living thing to block attacks from an opponent. It can only withstand a total of 15 moderate blasts or one strong ki attack from someone at her same powerlever and takes at least three posts to charge back up and be usable again if she doesn't use any other high ki consumption attacks. Any person above her level could simply hit it once and destroy it, leaving it as only a momentary pause in their onslaught rather than an effective defense for Ren'ai. The weakness stated before also applies to Master techniques to a more severe degree, she simply can not block them at all, the barrier would be powerless to stop such elite attacks and would result in a normal hit as if she had never used it to begin with.
- Mark of the Champion - Ren'ai is able to manifest marks on people like her brother could but hers is a mark of light rather than dark. Her mark does not stay forever instead being able to be removed by her hand after 48 hours or simply fading after three days, but while in use the mark allows her to lend her power to whomever she has connected herself with (Or for them to forcefully draw on hers). The mark may only be on one person at a time, any more and it would most certainly kill her so she's never tried more and never intends to do so.In essence she becomes a vessel of power to whomever bears her mark. It also allows her to communicate with them telepathically sometimes mingling her memories with that of the marked and allowing her to see and experience theirs as well. It is a dangerous connection and one that is not always so easily controlled so she uses it very sparingly and only when it is direly needed. It can kill her like any lending of power can if all of her ki is used up, and as more is taken she grows weaker physically.
