Ethar underwent a noticeable transformation, as his own power closed in on the caretaker's, shouting out that he was a Noran Saiyan hybrid as he came at him with supernatural speeds. He attempted to punch him again with a punch, this time directing it at the old coot's chest. The master would spin his arm into where the arm bends, applying enough pressure to cause the punch to halt. The caretaker then proceeded to force the ki blast in Ethar's other hand by firing a thin ki blast into the orb, causing it to blow up.
He would still get hit by the blast, but it was much weaker, considering it hadn't reached the point Ethar wanted. He brushed his beard once more, looking at Ethar. He had much raw power in him to use, a power that seemed to heal him up for more quickly than any sort of being. The only ones he'd seen heal that fast were the Namekians and their ability to do so was taxing, regardless of the amount. It was probably the same case with the Norans as well. It mattered not though. The caretaker charged forward, appearing and disappearing at various locations, before reappearing right in front of him once more. However, upon contact, Ethar would notice that this would be an after image of the caretaker.
The caretaker reappeared behind him, hands cupped and a powerful energy building up between. He roared out rapidly, "Kamehameha!"
A vicious blue wave of energy would fly at Ethar and smack him into the wall surrounding the school grounds if he didn't dodge. Once the wave made contact something the old man found himself coughing and kneeling on the ground. He did not have many years left... It was a sign in his coughing.

Ethar felt his hand get burned by the ki explosion that happened at close range, but the burns were quickly healed up thanks to his Noran blood. He was about to take a swing at the caretaker, but he had seemingly vanished for a second, before Ethar thought he was right infront of him again, as Ethar took a swing at him, but his fist went right through it. "The hell?!" He said, as he lost sight of him again. He didnt know what was going on, until he heard a voice say "Kamehameha" from behind him, as he felt a force smash into his back, pushing him forward.
The blast would of damaged Ethar greatly, but luckily for him, his enchanted sword was still on his back, as the blade blocked the blast from causing heavy injury to his body. He spun around, causing the remains of the blast to whiz past him as it faded into nothing. "The hell was that attack?!" He asked, as he was about to come back with his own beam attack, but saw the man having a coughing fit. He quickly walked over to the caretaker, and asked "Are you ok sir?" with a tone of worry in his voice.

The caretaker rubbed his mouth, as he said, "Ach... Mm... Yes, yes. I'm fine..."
The caretaker sweeped in a circle quickly, taking advantage of Ethar. The empowered saiyan would fall to his feet, as the caretaker partially stood up, ready punch his face in to the ground. He sent his fist at him, but just as the punch was about to land, the caretaker stopped. He was disciplining Ethar, so that he did not hesitate.
"Do not worry about the state of your opponent! This is a tactic intelligent fighters will use to overcome-"
He started coughing again, his voice sounding very hoarse. He turned his head away, as he got control of himself. He stood on his feet and walked away, so that he wouldn't be coughing all over Ethar. His coughing finally ceased, as he breathed in through his nose and out through his mouth. He turned around again to Ethar, as he told him, "It does seem that you are ready to meet the master... Please come with me."
The caretaker hunched over, and balled his hands into fists as he put them behind his back. He walked up to the stair case, as he called out, "Come come. The master is waiting."

Ethar fell to his butt as he was caught off guard, but that was it as he braced for another attack but it never came. HE saw the man coughing more as he had halted a punch and lectured him about not worrying about his opponent. It was true, perhaps Ethar was too nice to everyone he met.
He got up to his feet and powered down as his hair fell down and turned brown. Ethar broke out into a short run to catch up to the old man as he said "Thank you sir, I do appreciate it... You should get that cough looked at. It doesnt seem too healthy." He said, as he was quite excited to finally meet the master of the school, though he didnt know much about the school itself, but it was a good way to get some new knowledge in. "So whats the master like?"

The two would walk through the building, styled after the old shaolin monks of the ages. However, it seemed that, as they passed some rooms, that there were some more modern changes. For one, the rooms appeared to look more like a Japanese-European mix, some with computers and others with heaters. The caretaker told him, "I already have, you see. It will be the death of me, for even medicine in this day and age can not help. I won't be kicking the bucket just yet, Ethar. Now, let me tell you about this place..."
The caretaker would explain to Ethar that the dojo was found over 1,300 years ago by Grand Master Krillin, who was a disciple of the original inventor of the technique, the Kamehameha. He and the other student, the universally famous Son Goku, had been best friends and engaged in many adventures through their life. The caretaker even mentioned that the Grand Master had actually died a few times himself, but was revived by a magic long lost. When Son Goku left, it was up to Krillin to carry on the traditions of the Turtle School. He taught more 'classical' techniques to his students, like the technique that he used on Ethar before. Another school also branched from the old Turtle school, from Grand Master Tien Shinha. To this day, the schools have been rival to one another, as well as friends, for it is also tradition. For a very long while, the schools were very popular.
"However, the past 500 years have not been so kind. The schools began to lose interest, with the developments of other Martial Arts. However, in an ironic sense, these Martial Arts developed stem from the two schools here on Earth... And from the looks of it, elsewhere in space," the caretaker explained. He laughed a little, but then coughed a little bit.
"It seems I'll be needing to make some tea later... But first, let us introduce you to the current Grand master of the New Turtle School. My son, Gregory Salp."
The caretaker lead Ethar across a bridge leading to a lone building on one of the mountain tops near the main building. They would reach the front door and the caretaker pushed one of the doors open. He lead him inside, to a room with the sun shining down from an open section on the roof. In the middle of the room, a monk sat, meditating in front of an orchestra of candles. The caretaker stepped forward, speaking, "We have a visitor, Grand Master Salp. He wishes to learn. His name is Ethar."
Silence remained in the room, as the caretaker stepped back and gestured Ethar to step forward to the edge of the light.

"Krillin? I think I know him...Lil Short bald guy right? I met him once...Hell, even trained with him for a brief period. And I heard of Goku as well, I was told Id meet him one day... Heh, I heard Goku eats like a vacuum." He said as he burst out laughing. He listened to the more recent evens of the school and made a soft sigh. "Seems that alot has happened over the last 500 years, I got more catching up then I thought I did." He said, as he followed the caretaker over the bridge and into the building where he saw the Grand Master. He reminded Ethar of Krillin quite a bit, but seemed more...matured then him, if not taller.
"Thank you." He softly said to the caretaker, as he did as he was shown, as Ethar made his way into the light, and stood there, looking at the Grad Master who seemed to be meditating. "A Fair Hello to you Grand Master, I do apologize if I came at a inconvenient time during your meditation."

The Grand Master remained quiet, leaving an eerie sort of silence in the room. However, a deep breath broke the silence, as an orb of light quickly enveloped the room from the Grand Master, covering everything in blinding light. The light was pleasant to those in the area, but it clearly held enough power that would make any individual without a power level of a least 80,000 drop to their knees. Ethar would feel that he was a ant before a giant that held him in his hand.
The light faded, as well as the feeling from the grand master. The candles in the room that were once lit were no longer so. The Grand Master stood to his feet and stood in the light, bowing to Ethar. He told Ethar, his voice reflecting the power just displayed, "Fret not, for I was just finishing my meditation. Let us take a walk back to the dojo, Ethar. Thank you for bringing him to me, Father."
Gregory would bow to the caretaker, who wold do the same in kind. They would each walk back out to the main building of the school and enter inside its warm hallways, despite the cold weather of the mountains. The caretaker would split from the two when the came to the kitchen and began making something in there. The grand master would take Ethar into a large room fit with many pieces of equipment, as well as a strange, glowing wall hanging at the end of the room. It was held up with several thick chains and seemed to glow with a green luminescence. Gregory pointed to that, telling him, "Should you be able to prove yourself worthy, I will teach you to use one of the techniques of the school. For now, I ask you show me your ability."
In truth, Gregory was aware of Ethar's power, for he was sensing the battle from the meditation building between he and his father, the previous Grand Master of the Turtle School.

Ethar did drop to his knees as the Gran Master showed off a display of his power, as it caused his hair to get all messy. "Thats why he shaves..." he thought, as he struggled to get his hair nice after the Grand Master had powered back down somewhat, allowing him to fix his hair. "Thanks...Your father is a good man, it will be heartbreaking to see such a nice man like him go when his time comes..." He said, as he followed him back to the dojo, into what appeared to be a training room with a strange wall.
Ethar couldnt help that there was something behind that wall that had a good reason to be locked away. He looked back to Gregory as he asked Ethar to show him his full ability once more, and Ethar nodded. "You want me to battle you as well?" He said, clenching his fists as his own power level skyrocketed. His Hair stood up and became Silver again, as his eyes changed colour, and his teeth and nails grew sharp. His Power level peaked over 72,000 once more as he stared at Gregory for his reaction. "If thats what it takes, Ill do whatever I have to. I need to become stronger to better protect others." He said, thinking that Gregory wanted to do the same kind of test his father did, but decided to mix things up a bit as he quickly threw up his hands, and fired a few Ki blasts at him, then quickly followed up behind them and attempted to uppercut the Grand Masters Jaw.

The grand master charged ki blasts in each of his hands, blasting each respective blast in rapid succession. When Ethar came into range, the empowered saiyan uppercutted at the Grand Master's jaw. The Grand master proceeded to push the fist away, causing it to miss him completely, as the master then proceeded to place his hand at Ethar's torso. His hands were cupped together, as he chanted out, "Kame!"
The blast was weaker than the caretaker's bast, but it was still fairly powerful. It would explode upon impact with Ethar's torso, singing some of his clothing and sending him back several feet. The grandmaster readied himself again, as he told Ethar, "Here I come Ethar! Prepare yourself!"
The Grand master charged forward, unleashing a barrage of punches all over Ethar. They were slow enough to give Ethar the chance to block each of the attacks coming at him at a pace he'd consider rapid.
(To give you an idea, Ethar. The Grand Master is using a 2 syllable chant Kamehameha. We will now get to teaching you it.)

Ethar felt some air leave his lungs as he was forced back, but as it was a weaker attack, Ethar managed to stay on his feet. But his moment to recuperate was cut short, as Gregory rushed at him with a barrage of quick punches. But with Ethars Noran enhanced reflexes, reaction time and agility, it seemed Gregory was slow, as Ethar blocked two of the punches, then moved underneath the next one, moving underneath it and moving to Gregory's side, "My turn." he thought as he quickly charged up two balls of energy in his hands, then thrusted them forward "Dragon Flash wave!" He said, as the energy burst into a Ki Dragon that roared and tried to swallow Gregory.
Ethar was already feeling some exhaustion settling in, but He could keep the fight up for a good while still. "Hes strong...I know my attack wont do much, but I still have to try!" He thought as he unleashed his Ki attack.

Ethar proved promise so far, managing to block the oncoming punches and even managing to duck underneath one to unleashed a quickly charged, but surprisingly potent attack on Gregory. He was going easy on him, to see where he stood, so Gregory let the attack strike him, shoving him back several yards. The dragon of ki tried to engulf the grandmaster, but he halted the attack immediately, holding it back with strength equal to it. His face remained unchanged, but he began to growl, his power quickly rising up to 50% of his power, matching Ethar.
"Impressive, young man! You show great promise! But..."
He paused for a moment, as he clamped the jaws of the dragon shut, as the energy began to dissipate in a spectacle of sparks reminiscent to hundreds of sparklers. The grand master then stood straight, with one hand pointed up and the other pointed down. His eyes were closed, as he took in a deep breath. He continued, telling him, "You do lack in efficiency. This attack you used... The Dragon Flash wave, you call it? It is very reminiscent to the ancient Kamehameha technique, taught to the first Turtle Grand Master by the Turtle Hermit, Master Roshi. Whomever taught you this technique must have came into contact with one of our students or was an actual student here. However, it seems he or she provided a twist to the ability. The wave is made into a pseudo living creature, who's purpose is to entrap the target as it self destructs. While effective in providing what needs to be done, it lacks the refined power of Kamehameha wave..."
He paused again, crossing his arms and focusing on Ethar with dark chocolate eyes. He asked, "What is it that you intend to do with new found might, Ethar? To become the strongest? To rule or to defend?"

Ethar breathed softly, as he saw his attack hit the grandmaster, but soon brushed it aside, as if judging the strength of the attack impact. He expected as much from Gregory, and listened that he lacked efficiency, as Ethar replied back "Technically, I was never taught the Dragon Flash wave, It was a technique I made myself... a Namekian named 'Piccolo' taught me the basics to Beam techniques back on Namek, and I took it from there." He said, as he listened to Gregory's next question. What would Ethar do with new power? To rule? Defend? Thrive to become the best?
Ethar merely replied "To Protect... I find it more satisfying to help protect innocents from those who wish harm onto them. This is why I wish to become stronger, to help protect people... Seeing myself fail at that, feels like someone jabbed a knife through me..." He said, starting to wish he was stronger then he was now when he was in Ginger Town.

The Grand Master listened carefully to what he wanted to use his might for: The protection of the innocent. He understood the intent, but he did not know why he wanted to protect the innocent. He proceeded to ask him the question.
"I understand you wish to take your power and defend the innocent, but I must ask: Why? Where does this need to defend the innocent come from, Ethar?"
The Grand Master wanted to understand Ethar for whom he was. He wanted to know his thoughts. Regardless of what they were, he would teach him the Kamehameha to assist him in his mission. Hopefully, he could also take Ethar under as a full time student of the Turtle School. It'd enable the school to get out of the ditch they found themselves in.

"I guess its how my mother raised me... Plus, I didn't want to turn out like my uncle. He banished my father from Nor when he found out I was born... The First Noran/Saiyan Hybrid in history. My Uncle was aggressive, and only sought to use his power for his gains. My mother was a kind hearted woman, putting others above herself. I guess you can say I sorta take after her." He replied as he wondered why Gregory was asking him such a question, but had a good idea that it was part of the test.
With the battle part over, Ethar's form powered down into his base form, as his hair returned to its normal style and colour as his eyes became blue again. "She always did say that a person's future is determined by how they were raised."

"I see. You believe that it is because how you were raised by your family. Even this uncle of yours has played a part to reinforcing these beliefs in you," the Grand Master stated curiously. He shifted to a position adjacent to the wall.
He looked to Ethar and told him, "You are fit to learn this technique... Come stand behind me, Ethar. I shall demonstrate to you the Kamehameha Wave and teach you it so that you may use it to defend those you wish to protect."
The grand master cupped his hands together, as he began to explain, "The Kamehameha Wave is a powerful beam attack, requiring the generation of a large amount of energy. This energy is wild and can't be melded into any sort of shape, except a beam. It is because of this wild energy, a kind of cage needs to be made, through the use of hands or feet. Even the most disciplined individuals of this technique find it difficult to use the feet as a focal point. However, it is possible to do so, but we shall focus on using the hands as a focal point for this lesson."
Energy built up in the Grand Master's hand, lighting up the room in its eerie blue light. Gregory had his attention focused on the green-lit wall that hung by chains. He told Ethar, "Watch closely. I will not be demonstrating the actual usage of this ability again... Ka... Me... Ha... Me...! HA!"
He hurled the energy forward, sending out the beam at the wall. The energy clashed with it, as the chains rattled. It seemed the wave was going to yank the strange mass of rock out of the chains, but the energy seemed to be sucked into the green, translucent light that surrounded it! Gregory came to a rest and turned to Ethar. He gestured Ethar to come up and try the technique on the wall. He knew Ethar could pull it off faster than most, simply because the wave he used was similar to the Kamehameha wave itself.
