After escaping the devastation that was known as Ginger town, Ethar was flying as quickly as he could, until he saw a large mountain in the distance and decided to use the mountain as a good spot to recuperate from his ordeal, and saw what appeared to be a school of sorts on the mountain itself. "A Strange place for such a facility... Better check it out." He thought to himself, as he had the idea that such a place could be a good place to hide out until he learned how to use his 'altered' powers.
Slowly touching down near the entrance, Ethar walked up to the main doors of the school, and knocked on it. He wasnt sure how he was supposed to ask for entry, but he just used the standard knocking to see if anyone was home. He soon followed the knocking with a question, as he shouted/asked "Anyone home?" as he wondered if the school was empty since so much was happening all at once, or if people were inside, training.

(I will be doing the npcing this thread.) The day had been a quiet one as always in the Paozu mountain school of the Turtle Martial Arts. The caretaker had been sweeping the ancient concrete grounds. He had not seen a single person up here in 20 years to learn the arts from the master. It had been a sad, but peaceful existence so far... But there was something in the air that was different. Worry seemed to be enveloping the air, something that had not left him since the last student of the master left this place. He could feel someone approaching his area. His spirit reflected his worry, his anger, desperation, and confusion. The caretaker walked around, sweeping the dust away inside the central building of the school's porch. The roof prevented him and the other person from seeing each other. However, he could feel him there, at the front door. The caretaker would feel very weak to this person, entering the school he called home. The elderly man walked out, as he uttered, "Ah, a guest! After so long!"He walked out with his broom, smiling at the man at the gate. The caretaker held the broom like a needed walking stick. His weathered eyes looked the boy over, seeing that he was armed with a sword. He asked the boy, "What is a fighter like yourself doing all the way up in these mountains? Training to better yourself...?"

Ethar stopped knocking as he felt the weaker power level near him, as he soon heard a voice asking why he was there, and if he was there to train. "This is a school for training people?" He thought to himself, as he nodded to the older gentlemen. "Yes Sir, I am... As for training, its something that can always be looked forward to. Do you know where I can find the owner of this establishment? Theres an evil causing chaos on this planet, and I have to grow stronger to defeat it." He said, as he somewhat felt like he was running through a cliche dialogue script in a cheesy action movie, but he was telling the truth.
"My Name is Ethar...Ethar Luxun. Whats yours?" He asked with a faint smile as he approached the older man, and slowly extended his hand out for a handshake.

"Ethar, hmm," the caretaker muttered. He was searching for training, as the caretaker suspected. He walked up to him slowly, and poked the boy in the head.
He asked, "You speak of good. Yet, your aura reflects fear, confusion, and anger... I've seen a lot of youngsters walk in and out of this place with this aura. What troubles you so much that you come to the Turtle school to learn from the master?"
The caretaker turned away, not waiting for the man's answer. He then said, as he continued to sweep, "You are desperate. To learn from the master, you must not be this. Come back when you no longer feel this way. The master will then meet you himself..."

Ethar blinked as the old man poked him in the head, and was asked why he was so desperate to train under the master. But before he was able to answer, He was told to come back when he wasnt so desperate and his aura wasnt so disturbed.
"There might not be a next time sir... The same reason why my aura is so distrubed... Hundreds, if not thousands of people are dying to a new evil that is sweeping this planet. Cities are under siege, towns vaporized... I know, I saw Ginger town get wiped out before my very eyes. Innocent families burned alive. I saw one of the people who did it, And I was not strong enough to even hold a candle to her. If I am even able to help save innocent lives from being taken, I have to see the master." He said, as he clenched one of his fists. A Single tear streamed from his eye as his memory flashed back to Ginger town, the sounds of screaming people, the smell of burnt flesh...the family he saved from the burning house... He couldnt let it happen anymore.
"Please sir... For the sake of the planet... "

"No! You are not prepared! Your heart may be in the right place, but you are letting yourself down! A person as strong as you are needn't the lessons of a new technique," the caretaker bellowed, glaring at the tearing Ethar. Ethar already had the power to defend people. To the caretaker, Ethar fled in fear of death, even though he said people were dying.
The caretaker moved the broom behind himself, as he told him, "You are not worth the time! If what you said is true, then you have left behind people who needed help! No matter your strength, if you had the ability to save someone, then you should have save them. Regardless of the odds, you are to help those who need it. That is the doctrine the founder of this school lived by those thousands of years ago... Now, if you wish to stay here, to rest, then you may do so. However, in your current state, you will not become a student of the master."

"Hard to protect people when your dead ya know! I was always taught to make most of the time you have while your alive! Foolishly staying in a battle you cant win is just plain wrong. And since I am the last of my people, I dont plan on dying again anytime soon! What was the saying you people have? Better to run, and live to fight another day?" He said, glaring hard at the man as he just continued to sweep. His saiyan blood, with his Noran personality was making him angry much easier then the average person, but he struggled to keep himself from just taking off to fin another way to grow in power.
"I have saved some lives today, but I failed to save others because my strength was not enough... If you turn me away, then your going against the very doctrine that was founded here." He said, as he looked to the main doors and tried to sense where the master was...and came back with nothing. Just the old man that was indeed talking to him. "And something tells me... You have been pretty lonely for a long time. And something else tells me... That your not just the caretaker here...Are you?" He asked, hoping that his hunch was right about the older man.

He acknowledged that he was afraid of death finally. Ethar had also begun to show signs of anger as well, as he recalled a saying that humans occasionally said... Military men tended to follow this doctrine of thought. Ethar then proceeded to state that he did save some lives today, but he failed others. The caretaker wanted him to be honest with him and Ethar was finally doing that. He actually tried to make a twist on the doctrine the school was founded on as well. After that, he went silent as he stared behind him.
Ethar then proceeded to ask him about if he wasn't just a caretaker. The man told him, "That is a reasonable assumption, but wrong... Perhaps you might be ready. Let us see if you are, Ethar. I've learned a thing or two from the master here in my long time caring for this school and its residents. So, why don't you show me what you can do? You may even use that sword on your back if you wish."
He smiled, as he brushed his beard with his hand. The old caretaker did not shift his position at all, keeping his feet together and hunched over. The caretaker had a few tricks up his sleeve.

"I try not to rely on my sword unless I absolutely have to, but Ill give it my all. I do hope your ready." He said, as he started to focus his Ki down into his arms as he moved his hands to his sides, as if making a sort of fighting stance. But the palms of Ethars hands glowed with two balls of energy as he smiled "Hope your ready for my Dragon Flash Wave! My mentor on Namek helped me learn it over 500 years ago!" as the balls slowly grew in size...
Until Ethar moved his hands up, cupping them together, merging the two balls together. "Dragon..." He started to say, as light started to shine through his fingers as the ball grew larger and larger. "...Flash..." He added, the ball growing larger, as he suddenly thrusted his hands forward, towards the caretaker as he shouted "WAVE!" as the ball erupted into a Ki Beam, with the front of it quickly taking the shape of a Dragon that roared at the Caretaker as it would try to swallow the man.

Ethar seemed hesitant to use the sword in action. The caretaker could feel energy welling up in Ethar's arms, as the boy talked about something from 500 years ago. The caretaker then uttered, "Ah! Then you are no ordinary human, are you?"
His assumption proved more accurate, as the dragon wave charged at him, literally taking the form of a dragon. It roared at him, as he simply remained standing there. Apparently, the boy thought it as necessary to go over the top with his more powerful abilities, in order to win a fight. The caretaker would raise his arm up, as he did a simple 'Kyop'! The wave would be overcome by the invisible force, as well as a quick revealing of he caretaker's might... It seemed that he much stronger, at least being three times as strong as Ethar and that he just hiding his power to the point he seemed like an average person. He simply stood there, with a smile on his face. He shook his hand a bit, as he stated, "Come now, Ethar! Starting a battle with a powerful attack like that is not wise at all! Come and show me your skill with hand to hand combat!"
This caretaker was powerful indeed! However, he was keeping his full power secret from Ethar. He wanted to see how far Ethar was willing to go to learn from the master! He wanted to see Ethar for whom he was. At the moment, he was reflecting desperation in his fighting style so far.

Ethar watched in amazment as the older man suddenly stopped his DFW with seemingly relative ease and just smiled. "I was just warming up... And Im not human at all.. I am a Noran/Saiyan hybrid." He said, as the man wanted Ethar to come at him using hand to hand combat, which Ethar was more then happy to do. "Very well then, If thats what you want." He said as he suddenly rushed at the man, keeping his eyes dead locked on him as he quickly approached.
He knew he couldnt powerup to take the older man full on, but he was gonna give it his all anyways. He swung his right fist towards the mans head, but would try to quickly follow up with a kick from teh same side as his attacking arm. But he knew that the old man would eitehr dodge, or block his attacks, and kept his left arm ready to block.

The caretaker waited for the apparent alien to come at him. To him, Ethar seemed like nothing more than a human. There were no characteristics to determine any sort of argument, so he would have take what he said as truth, even if it was for now. Ethar charged at him, keeping eyes locked on him. He swung his right fist at him, the old man using the sweeping part of the broom stick to shove it to the side. He then would dodge the following attack with ease.
The old man would then proceed to trip him, due to the manner of how Ethar was standing. Ethar did not have a balanced form, so tripping him was going to be easy. He swung the broom stick at Ethar's left leg, successfully tripping him. He then hopped back, straightening himself up for a bit and brushing the beard. The caretaker actually was about the same height as Ethar standing straight. He told Ethar, "You lack balance and finesse, Ethar. Come at me once more and do not leave yourself so open."

Ethar let out a small yelp as he was tripped. He fell on his back, and looked up at the caretaker with a glare...then started to laugh. "Good form old man!"He said as he got up to his feet. He was getting more angry as the man said what his fighting form lacked, and just smirked as he felt his anger bubble up inside him. "You really want me to go all out dont ya?" He asked his aura started to flare up like fire.
The wind kicked up around Ethar as Ethar started to put some distance between him and the caretaker. He needed more power, and felt that he could draw on the power in his sword to boost his own, but would only do so if the caretaker was alright with him going all out.

"Yes I do, Ethar. If you do not, you will n-"
He was interrupted by Ethar powering up greatly. The old man remained standing there, letting Ethar power up to his fullest. When he finished, the caretaker asked him, "Are you done venting your anger? If so, you will need to prepare yourself now."
The caretaker vanished from the powered up saiyan's sight for a brief moment. The sound of a broom stick being put down roughly would reach Ethar's ears from the stair case leading into the main building. If he looked over, he would find only the broom stick be the only thing there. The old man, though, would not.
"It is time I have gotten serious as well. Prepare yourself, Ethar," the old man told him, standing over to his right side. He swept his feet on the ground and rose his hands up, keeping them in dagger formations. His left foot led forward slightly, as well as his left hand while the right, daggered hand hung closely to his chest. He gestured Ethar to come at him, as his power spiked up above Ethar's power by a much larger margin. If someone were to be reading his power level, it be reading at 82,457! The caretaker had truly become serious, since Ethar as well had become serious. He was showing respect for him, but at the same time, he was going to prove a point to him.
"Come forth, saiyan!"

Ethar turned his head, and saw the broomstick without the old man. But his attention was caught by the mans voice to his right as he looked back towards him, and saw that he was getting into his own stance, ready to fight Ethar, calling him a Saiyan. "I said.... I AM A NORAN SAIYAN!" He shouted in anger, as the power in his sword suddenly drove itself into Ethars very soul, causing his power to sky rocket to just above 72,000.
Ethars eyes soon turned red, his two canines grew longer and sharper as well as his finger nails growing slightly longer and sharper. His Aura went full flame, causing his hair to stand up like a Super Saiyans, but instead of turning gold, it turned to a sparkling silver colour. As Ethar fully transformed for the first time since he had been free from the cave.
It felt like seeing an old friend for the first time, as he went back to glaring at the caretaker, and suddenly rushed him with Super human speeds. He then attempted to throw a single punch at the mans chest, but instead of throwing a kick right after it, Ethar would follow up with his other hand, and attempt to ki blast the man at point blank range.
