(Yay Led Zeppelin)
After some training at the New Turtle School, Ethar decided to climb Mt.Paozu for some endurance training. With his Saiyan armour, and his sword his only belongings, he made sure his hands fit in each crevasse before taking the next step as he climbed higher, and higher from the Turtle School. "Might be a good view at the very top." He said, as he felt the stone under his feet give way, but Ethar held onto the mountain with all his might, as so he didnt fall down. Granted, he could just fly up to the top, but that would defeat the purpose of why he was doing the climb.
It would take a couple hours before he came to a level terrace in teh mountain, a good spot to rest from the climb as he climbed up onto it, and sat down on the cold stone, overlooking the cloudy ravine that lay before him. "Wow, a nice view already..." He thought, as he shouted "HELLOOO!", as seconds later, he heard the echo repeating his hello for a few moments.

Shin was puzzled by the warrior named Ethar. He had never met him before, but yet he'd receive memories of he and Ethar. It was the weirdest thing that a kaioshin could recall events of his ancestor's life. He hasn't ever heard of such a thing possible with the kaioshin. This would lead him to wonder why. What makes him so different from all the other kaioshin that he has the ability to relive past events and gain past memories that weren't his. Puzzled he remained, he decided to keep a close eye on this interesting warrior.
To the enchanted pond Shin walked and waved his hand over it. An image quickly revealed showing Ethar scaling a mountain top. It seemed to be some type of training he wanted to place his body under as it would be easier to simply fly atop the mountain. Silently Shin watched as Ethar climbed and climbed almost falling at one point. Ethar, seeming to have reached his destination of rest and decided to look out into the world before him. He soon shouted a loud hello only to hear his own echos come back to him. Shin thought this would be the perfect time to speak to Ethar atop this seemingly stairway to heaven.
Shin looked into the image and closed his eyes creating a quick link between their minds. "Ethar? Ethar? Can you hear me? It is the Eastern Kaioshin and I believe you know me, or have known me rather. I wish to have words with you if that's quite alright."

Ethar was busy enjoying teh view, that when Shin spoke into his mind, Ethar jumped a bit in surprise as he quickly looked around for the source of the voice. But when he didnt see anyone near him, his mind quickly put together who the voice belonged to. "Shin? Is that you?" He asked, as he sat back down, and closed his own eyes to try and concentrate on the conversation taht was had started with the Kai. Luckily, with no one else around, Ethar would of been considered crazy if people had seen him talking to no one else.
"Still kicking after 500 years eh? Glad to hear one of my only friends are still around. Congratulations on getting the Eastern Position." He said as he smiled to himself.

"Uh thank you I suppose, but I'm not the Shin you remember. That Shin died a long long time ago. About the 500 years ago you just mentioned. However, I have a strange ability to catch some of his past memories and that is how I knew your name. I would like to meet you face to face to learn more if that's okay with you."
Shin was confused as to why he'd been able to remember this man as if he lived that life some 500 years ago. It was strange, even though they were not his memories they still felt like they were. Something was going on and Shin may find some answers by speaking to this Ethar. That was his hope anyway. Shin placed both hands in the enchanted pond and waited for Ethar's answer. Somehow he knew that the answer would indeed be yes. Now would hopefully be the greatest eye opener to his ancestors life.

Ethar heard his words, and was a bit disappointed that the Shin he was currently chatting to wasnt the Shin he used to know. But when he heard that the NEW Shin wanted to meet Ethar face to face, He smiled. "Sure thing Shin, I dont have anything planned right now anyways. But... How can I get to you? I not dead ya know." He said, trying to think of how Shin would get to see Ethar, but remembered that Heiwa was his mentor, but the Shin he knew was younger then Heiwa, and if the Shin he knew was gone, then Heiwa was possibly gone to.
"I take it you have a plan for this dont you?"He asked, as he slowly got up to his feet. He had a hunch that the new Shin was alot less careless, and more calculating the the only Shin, just from the was he was talking.

With his hands inside of the pond he would whisper a few simple words that world grant them both access to the Mental Plane sometimes called the Astral Plane. "Ethar, all I need from you is for you to close your eyes. Once you've done that simply count to five and open them. We will meet somewhere where we cannot be disturbed."Shin smiled as he knew that Ethar would help him just because he shared the name of his friend. Shin would not take advantage of this gift, but use it to shine a bright light on his life. ( sorry so short and took awhile. I can't run from the shit storm life's dealing right now )

Ethar listened to Shins instructions, and smirked. "So pretty much just start meditating? Heh. You couldnt pick a better place my friend." He said, as he sat back down and crossed his legs. "See ya real soon." He said, as Ethar slowly closed his eyes as he would if he was meditating, and slowly counted "1...2...3...4...5..." He softly said, before slowly opening his eyes. It was like his meditation took a detour, and was in a realm that his mind had never been to before. "Whoa, Where am I?" He asked, as he looked around himself. He couldnt see the mountain he was on anywhere, but he could move freely, while his physical body wasnt. (Its all good Glad to have ya back)

Shin stood in front of Ethar smiling. They were now in the mental plan and no one but a fellow kaioshin could disturb them. Ethar seemed amazed as he had never had such an experience.
"Where are you? Well, welcome to the mental plane. Very few know of this place or have ever tried to venture out into this through their mind. I highly doubt that any of the other high kaioshin knows of this place. I could possible be the only one. Then again, I am a kaioshin of magic as you already know.
Shin walked toward Ethar placing his hand on his shoulder. "Now, I am only a descendant of the great Shin you knew. However, I have the gifts of sharing his memories. I must say I remember you very fondly and feel true emotions of happiness in seeing you. It's as if he and I share one mind, one body, and one soul. Hmm, now I have a favor to ask of you. I need you to train with me, I am nothing compared to the power my ancestor held. It's rare for a mortal to help train a kaioshin, but these are strange times. What do you say? Besides, there are great benefits to training with a kaioshin."
Shin stood and waited patiently for his answer. He needed to become much more powerful due to a strange feeling of danger that is looming.

"The Kaioshin of Magic... and Mischief last I checked." He said wit ha laugh. "I know your not the Shin that I remembered from 500 years ago, but your aura is similar to his... But theres something else about it I cant quite put my finger on..." He said, as he listend to his other words. He wanted Ethar to TRAIN with him? He remembered Heiwa stating something similar in the past, but a situation on Namek had to get him back before that training could even begin.
"Oh I know there are benefits, but what they are eludes me. 500 years ago, My Kai Mentor Heiwa told me something similar, but due to unforseen circumstances, I was forced to return to the realm of the living before I could receive any of his training. But now, I have lost alot of power over the last 500 years... I have been endeavoring to reclaim that power, but I seem to of lost my latest, and most powerful transformation ability... Im not sure if I can be much of a help without my previous power." HE said, starting to feel that he might not be of as much use to the new Shin as he had thought Ethar was. But if he was going to train Ethar as well as himself, there might be hope for him yet.

"You may not possess the power you once held, but you power is far greater than mine. Yes, Magic and Mischief my ancestor was untouchable in those two categories. It's the very reason I'm able to bring you to a place like this." Shin placed both of his hands out showing off the white shining realm. "Although, I believe he would disagree on the mischief part. He felt he was only protecting heaven with his action, which I believe are just. I'm surprised that a mortal knows so much about us kais and the brave kais of legend. Hmm, seems like forever since they roamed the realms yet its only been 500 years."
Shin walked over to an empty space placing his hand out in front of him. "You know the best thing about this place?" Shin then closed his eyes and within seconds a gladiator like arena was formed with Ethar and Shin in the center. Even people were there shouting and yelling as if from ancient times. "I can do whatever I want here as long as I think it. Ya see the brain has all the power here. While your physical power doesn't go anywhere and your fist still pack a punch, it is the mind that allows you to truly be mighty in this realm. Common ki blasts are even a challenge in this realm. Now you see why I brought you here. It's the ultimate training place."
Shin looked back at Ethar and smiled realizing a bit late that Ethar spoke the name Heiwa. It was the same name he spoke when he freed Ethar from the locked door of the training room. Shin decided not to address it now, but to instead train with Ethar and become the best he can be. "Whenever you are ready, we can begin. I must warn you. It will take a lot out of you the same as I, but if you are interested let us begin. Besides, the people are getting restless no matter how fictional they are."
Shin simply waited on Ethar's response though he now seemed to be able to tell what Ethar would say before he would even say it. It was strange, but comforting.

"You would be surprised Shin. I was actually quite popular with the Kais back in the day. I even participated in the Heaven and hell war... Dealt with quite a few Demons, and evil beings in my time. Wasnt fun, but it was something that had to be done." He said as he watched shin make an arena form all around them, as the sound of the audience greeted him and made him smile.
"I am quite impressed Shin. But I have to warn you, my mind is as equally trained as my body, So between the physical realm and here, there is no difference in power for me." He said with a smile as he kept his eye on Shin and made his way to a separate part of the arena. He stretched himself out as he moved to a fighting stance, ready for combat. "Lets see what you can do Shin....Come at me with everything you got!" He said, as Ethar was testing out where Shins strength currently was, and in turn... find out what his weaknesses were.

Shin grins at Ethar's comments as he knew this realm better than anyone. The comment of him fighting in the historic war all those years ago would have to be ignored for now. Now, it was time to show Ethar that power isn't everything and that no one could be a master in the mental plane.
"You have me on power, but in this realm I am the almighty. Granted an attack from you would cause great pain, but with this style of hand to hand combat I possess we will see if you can keep up. I hope your ready."
Shin began to move in a strange an awkward way. It was as if his body wasn't controlling itself, yet it seemed so fluid and second nature. As if Shin was nothing more than mere liquid and no bones. Ethar was about to find out what the perks of being a kai were. Shin was going to do his best to take Ethar to both their limits.
"You move first, I don't want to be rude."
Shin winks and chuckles slightly as he wait for Ethar's attack.

Ethar's thought so Shins fighting style was out of the window when he saw Shin move like he was iquid, this was going to be an interesting fight. He couldnt help but smirk as Shin let him have the first attack "Why thank you." He sad, as he moved his hands to one side, as if cupping something. "Gonna see if learning this technique was really worth it..." He thought, as he started to say "Kame... Hame..." as an energyball suddenly appeared in his hands. Light poured out from between his fingers as the ball slowly grew in size.
"HAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" He suddenly shouted, thrusting his hands forward as the ball burst into a large beam of energy that soared right towards Shin at high speeds.

Ethar would start off with a bang as he quickly went for a powerful blast from the start. Before Ethar could get the blast of Shin placed to fingers out in front of him and used his free hand and aimed to fingers up. Ethar obviously wasn't at full power, but still was far stronger than Shin. However, being a master of the water lucidity style Shin would reveal something that Ethar may have never seen. The blast was fired and coming in fast toward Shin. Shin, with his eyes closed, freed his mind and allowed his energy to flow freely through him. Soon the blast made contact with Shin, but the blast would enter Shin's extended arm. Shin's arms began to glow the color of the beam and while his face didn't show it, the power of the blast began to burn his arms a bit.
After absorbing all the blasts Shin shot the blasts into the air with his eye's locked dead on Ethar. His arms burned a little, but Shin's game face was on and he was ready. "Ethar, I believe it's my turn is it not?" Shin using the full force of his water lucidity style rushed in toward Ethar with amazing speed. His power was laughable, but his speed had to be taken seriously. He would run around in circles around Ethar creating a small wind tunnel it seemed, but before it could do anything he quickly came in with a left elbow to Ethar's back. If his first attack hit or not, he would follow it up with right elbow to the head, a knee to the mid section, and a headbutt to hopefully cause Ethar to take a few steps back.
He knew Ethar had him when it came to power, but he wanted to truly show Ethar what it was to fight. It was more than using raw power, it was more than launching world ending beams, and it was more than simply beating your opponent. Someone who knew how to truly wage hand to hand combat would know this. Ethar was strong and may have been 500 years old, but his hand to hand work left something to be desired. Shin would aim to fix this in time.

Ethar was shocked to see that Shin merely redirected his beam into the sky harmlessly. "Amazing..." He said, as he saw Shin suddenly rush at him, moving around him quickly in circles at speeds he couldnt catch on to, as he suddenly felt himself getting attacked hard from different angles, as teh finishing blow caused him to take a few steps backwards.
Quickly composing himself, his head felt a little bit dizzy, as his eyes locked onto Shins approximate location again and he growled. "No more games!"He said, as the sword on his back started to glow as Etahrs power doubled...no trippled, no Quadrupled! His aura suddenly flared up as his eyes turned red in colour, his fingernails grew sharp as his hair suddenly stood up like a Super Saiyans, but instead of gold, it turned Silver! "Lets see you outwit this!" He thought, as he suddenly rushed to where he thought shin was with a new speed, as Ethar attempted to throw a good right hook to his head, followed by a low sweep to his legs with his right leg.
