The moon grew high into the air, not quite full but getting close. The white glow illuminating the brown cool sands of the Saiyan desert. Ikezu faced a cavern, when suddenly a blur of movement sped out of the cave rushing Ikezu.
~8 hours earlier~
Ikezu was visiting a village on the outskirts of the desert, investigating rumors about a strange band of creatures roaming the sands attacking villagers who had been journeying across towards Saru City the capitol of Planet Vegeta. He would speak to the village elder about the creatures, and aid them in anyway that he could. If he found anything on his journey he'd return anything of importance to SSE headquarters.
A large clay building rose slightly above the others, and Ikezu made his way in.
"Elder Kuroku?"
"Yes young one?"
"I'm here to speak with you about these desert creatures you've been having difficulties with."
"Ahh yes, the cabage heads. They've been ambushing villagers as we've been trying to journey across the sands in order to plead with lord Boliko for aid. You see our village well has run dry, we have no water for planting or drinking and we desperately need help. If you could just deal with those damn cabbage heads, than we could finally send for aid."
"I work under Emperor Boliko, I will solve your 'Cabbage Head' problem, and your water problem."
"Really? What a relief? But... you'll be wanting compensation then, won't you? What'll it be, money, woman? I'll have you know we're in short supply of both."
"No no no... Emperor Boliko cares about his subjects. I'll help you for free, in return for your word that you will aid and support his magnificence, in any way you are able too, in the future."
"Hmm... in any way we can you say? No catches? No taxes?"
"No catches."
"Ok, deal with our problem, and do it well. Than you'll have my word. For proof that you've dealt with our cabbagehead problem, I want you to bring back their heads. Deal?"
"Works for me. Do you have any information about where they can be found?"
"Yes, they make their home in a cavern to the east. It's surrounded by sand, and rests under a dune. It'll be difficult to find in on the ground, but easy enough to locate from the sky."
"Ok, and a description of the creature."
"They're cabbage heads. That should be descriptive enough."
"Right, well I'll be back. In the mean time... let me take care of your water problem."
Ikezu flew out of town, released his White Tiger Flame, and dived straight down into the ground, digging at the sand, and punching through the earth until he reached an aquifer, filled to the brim with water, he than turned and flew through the earth, cauterizing the tunnel until he made it to the village. They had a new natural well which would last them for atleast a century.
"There you go, a full order of cabbage heads coming up!" Ikezu said as he dashed to the east looking for a cavern.
Night fell, and Ikezu finally found the cavern. Landing gently he used his cat-like night vision to look around, spotting what looked like little men, with bald heads.
"What the?"
A clicking came from the cave and one of the cabbage heads turned to another and jumped on him, clawing at his head and tearing it apart.
"kekekekekekriiiii!!"
"damn, viscious creatures."
"Ke?"
The cave turned alive, and dozens of the creatures came swarming out and rushing Ikezu.
He adopted a fighting stance, shooting two of the little guys with energy blasts which seemed to explode them. A third flew towards his head and he kicked it in mid-flight, sending his foot through it's stomach.
"Hehehe..." The cabbagehead started laughing and glowing white, and Ikezu kicked it at a small band of monsters, where it immediately exploded. Aparently these guys could commit suicide.
"Damn."
10 left, and they swarmed Ikezu, laughing as they ran around at high speeds creating after images. Ikezu used Multi-form to create two more copies of himself, and they all dispersed. The real Ikezu went up, one fake was left in the middle, and the other flew right through the lines.
As he did so he released a blast of energy from both hands, blasting one of the cabbage heads in the face.
When his head exploded it started oozing a white substance which sizzled on the ground. 'Acid?'
Suddenly they all stopped, and three attacked each Ikezu.
The real Ikezu, grabbed two smashed their heads together and squeezed their heads spraying the third with acid, killing it. Than blasting the two already in his hands blowing them up.
The first fake Ikezu placed his hands together, and a blue spark formed between his hands as he blasted the three creatures with the full flurry of a Chained Assault, launching atleast a dozen bolts taking off limbs, heads, and just annihalating them.
The second Ikezu blasted one of the little guys with an energy bolt, grabbing a second by the arm and swinging it into his knee and throwing it at the last one. Killing both by throwing a single stone threw their bodies at super high speeds.
"Talk about killing two Cabbage Heads with one stone." Ikezu joked with himself dispersing his two copies.
Once his task was done, he explored the cavern searching for more Cabbage Heads. He didn't find any, but he found clusters of what looked like seeds, and a chest containing the blue print for Scouters, and an interesting pamphlet "How to grow and use your own Saibaman Army." It had a picture of those seeds on the first page with a diagram of how to use them. It said to plant the seeds, pour a drop or two of growing formula, and wait 1 minute or less depending on the planet's soil.
Ikezu took the blue prints, a cluster of seeds, a green vial which was labelled GF, and the pamphlet with him along with three Saibamen heads. The pamphlet held a hint which may lead the SSE to the growing formula if Lord Boliko had any use for them.
On his return he dropped the heads, and planted three seeds into the ground. Pouring two drops of liquid on each. Within a minute 3 saibamen grew from the ground, ready to do Ikezu's bidding.
"Aid this town's Elder." Ikezu said, and the Saibamen were ready to be put to work. They'd never rebel, never need to eat or sleep, and they would do anything the Elder asked them too.
"What's this?"
"They're Saibamen. Soldiers of the Prince Vegeta's empire. They're workers, and will do almost anything that you ask of them. They're yours now."
"Thank you. Tell his magesty we'll serve him loyally as best we can."
"I will."
The vial of growing forumula had just enough to demonstrate them to Lord Boliko, no more.
With that Ikezu would be on his way home, to return his findings to Lord Boliko.
