"Sometimes, I even amaze myself." He said out loud. Ba'alzamon doesn't always kill his opponents, but when he does, he tries to do it with marginal style. Take his current target, for example: a young man, at the ripe age of 24, ironically murdered by a sword. Funny, of course, because his family was descended from a group of trained swordsman.
Regardless, the man got a good cut on Ba'alzamon's arm. It was but a flesh wound, yet it drew a fresh gout of blood, which surprised him. Dusting off his robes, the Makaioshin left his target's house (A lovely red brick house,) and fled to the desert.
His only refuge, his only solace. His only escape from it all. Being a loner is so bittersweet. I get all the time to myself I want. However, I shudder, just thinking about all I can accomplish with a teammate...
Idly thinking about nothing, Ba'alzamon arrived at his destination. Seeing a rocky mountain ahead of him, he decided to try to climb it. Stamina training and what-not. Gaining no purchase, he punched the mountain every few steps to create footholds. He grinned as he finally managed to reach the top.
Pulling himself up, Ba'alzamon scrambled up and looked around. The mountain was plateaued at the top, and there was a nest in the middle. All in all, the top of the mountain's radius was about 40 yards. Ba'alzamon walked over to the nest and examined it.
Something lives here, that's for certain. And he, or what, was here in the last 24 hours. Maybe it's a dr-
But before he could finish that though, something swooped in overhead. The sun was in his eyes, and he wasn't able to make out what it was exactly, but it was big. Really big. The eyes (No... The eyes. They blink, but they don't see.) red and glowing. Ba'alzamon had to move fast.
Thinking quickly, he raised up his left arm and shot three Ki blasts into the air. Red and pulsing with hate, two of them sped past the beast, with the third hitting it in the torso. Screaming a cry of rage, the monster flew at Ba'alzamon unexpectedly.
He quickly rolled to the left, and slashed at the beast as it flew by, shrieking in both pain and surprise. Clearly shocked it was hurt, it flew around and saw two beams of red light come hurtling towards him. It tried in vain to dodge, but one stuck it in the left wing's membrane, and the other one went in it's head, drilling it's way in one end and out the other.
The animal crashed to the ground, but rolled back up and charged Ba'alzamon.
Damn it... This thing doesn't give up easy. No matter.
Sheathing his sword, he raised both hands into the air and shot 4 rings that stopped his pursuer dead in it's tracks. One ring closed around both of the wings, binding it. Another ring circled around it's legs and closed in tightly. Yet another shot in and closed around the beings' neck and started to strangle it. The last one closed around the being's torso.
Considering this day over, Ba'alzamon scooped up a few eggs from the being's nest for breakfast tomorrow, and began his descent off the mountain.
