The humidity of the lower regions as bothersome as it was provided the perfect training grounds. It was time to start the cadets training. The first was a young female, although she was a talented and rightfully so. The brunt of her skill was in the medical field and he needed to make sure she was ready for combat and on par with the rest of the members. The sun barely pierced the veil of the humidity this day and the morning dew would cause the raven strands that escaped his cloak to mat to his skin in a sticky mix of water and sweat. He always wondered why his little sister loved the place so much the smell of salt water and marine life would remind him of what it would be like if he ever was in a human sized fish tank. Though the habitat did appease the lush vegetation that seemed to thrive off the abundance of hydration available.
Within the are lurked a creature much darker than the likes of any they had ever seen. A beast that thrived off of chaos and despair. That lived before time and thus even a weaker manifestation of it's former drank the rivers dry and devoured entire nations. Now this creature was bound to the flesh, yet it was only one path to to something greater. His sister of the sword and apprentice now known as his star pupil was the key to it all. He would be sworn to protect her. In order to do that however he first needed to teach her how to protect herself. In order to do this he had to break her down and build her up into something greater. She was no longer the gentle heart of the land. She had to become stronger. She had far too long been the shield that the citizens of the nation hid behind. Nameless was now the sword that would lash out at the enemies of the Saiyans.
Strategy, Tactics, combat they would all be on his list to teach her. Seemingly their prey would be playing hard to get. So they would have to weed him out. He had to be sure she would be void of all emotion. Her heart had to be as tainted as his to be able to endure some of the things they would be doing. The mission would require some gruesome notions that normal men and women would not be able to endure. Though he had held some influence over her mind there was always the fragments of human emotion that was beyond the reach. However he would be sure to fix this through there training. She would kill and she would love it. She would embrace war like it were family and hold it close. She would be made into a proper Saiyan even if only so by name alone.
Eyes of the Student... It was an idealistic day to the woman of the mist. Eyes that showed nothing but pride towards them took in the sweetness of her residence. The area was how it should be with perfect weather and humidity. The sun had given enough light for the people of the area to get around. Yet, the air was thick and foggy and the coolness made her skin get Goosebumps from the time she had come into the village. They were gone now, however as she was normally used to this kind of environment. Her hair was worn down today, face finally uncovered from beneath her own misty veil. Her reappearance in the area itself was odd and many people had glued their eyes on her. Nothing had changed with the woman she had thought except for how she now always seemed to have her guard. Her Ki creating a constant shift and churn in her body allowing it to pump up her blood and give her constant oxygen.
Her thoughts were ambiguous at this moment, nothing too good for battle. This was her purpose for being here was it not? To be stronger than she already was. She moved swiftly towards the man who treated her like kin, something with more worth than she could take. He was here to show her… to teach her something she may be troubling herself with though she wasn’t sure what that just was either. She knew what she had to do to get stronger. She had to learn to let go. Let go of everything she knew and would know. To let her instincts take over would be her greatest challenge, even though she herself couldn’t accept that. Heartless… to be one without emotion. Even rage… even coldness… weren’t those still emotions?

As soon as She was in sight he would begin speaking. "Before I train your body I will train your mind". The first lesson is strategic combat. Each lesson may be applied while in mass or by yourself. You should always focus on the object of war and proper engagement. Always keep attention and action focused on achieving strategic objectives as promptly as possible, as opposed to becoming distracted by the nuances and intricacies of implementing complex strategies and tactics. You always want to think three steps ahead but never over complicate yourself. You never want to attack the opponents weakness in such a manner that you expose your own. Use whats necessary for victory nothing more, nothing less. In combat presume every element foreign and unpredictable, expect nothing prepare for everything."
He would begin to pace back and fourth his arms crossing behind his back "When you engage in actual fighting, if victory is long in coming, the your weapon will grow dull and your ardor will be dampened as well as exhausted Ki supplies. If you attack an enemy head on, you will exhaust your strength, and if the battle is prolonged, the cost of victory will not be equal to the strain. Never forget, When your weapons are dulled, your ardor dampened, your strength exhausted, and your mind spent, other enemies will spring up to take advantage of your misfortune. Then no man, however wise, will be able to avert the consequences that will ensue. Dispose of your enemies as quickly and efficiently as possible. You want to end battles quickly using the least amount of resources chakra included."
He would sigh taking in another breath before continuing. He was hoping that the information was sinking in."The greatest tactician and strategist ever to live in my personal opinion once said, what the ancients called a clever fighter is one who not only wins, but excels in winning with ease. But his victories bring him neither reputation for wisdom nor credit for courage. For in as much as they are gained over circumstances that have not come to light, the world at large knows nothing of them, and he therefore wins no reputation for wisdom; and inasmuch as the hostile state submits before there has been any bloodshed, he receives no credit for courage. What does that mean to you Shioni and also what have you learned?
Just as she had come in Nameless would start speaking. She would freeze in place to listen to his words of wisdom. The art of fighting... the skills he possessed. She wished to have them. She wished to be more like him, skilled and fearless in the combat field. She knew she was very much capable and had the potential to be one wild person in the battlefield. With just the training and the mind attuned to it, she would become one with her inner demon. One with the inner warrior she could be. She took what he was saying to heart. He had a point. You needed to make battles short and resourceful. SHe could not expose too many tricks nor could she show off whatever she truly had. She also had to give it her all. She could not simply wait around and play around. She had to do it swiftly and as painful as possible. Shioni had to be the kind of person that was what her title was. Heartless. It would not matter who was on the battlefield withe her. What would matter was how she used her advantages and disadvantages.
He asked her a question, one that she had been ready to answer.
"To me, it means that you should not show off or reveal yourself just yet for when you win and gain reputation you get pressured and not just pressured but can be rather cocky as well. The knowledge you gain in battle can be used for your advantage, but might just be applicable there as both parties grow... get stronger...." She wasn't sure if what she was saying made much sense or made any at all. She simply spoke what was in her mind.

He would listen intently to her answer before he would nod. "You must learn to strip yourself of your status use the brunt of your power only as a necessity. The powerful tend to lose their wit and bathe in their own superiority. This is the worst thing you can do little sister. Doing so can give you a false sense of grandeur and dulls your senses. A formidable opponent will use this to there advantage and you will quickly be reminded of your mortality. The good fighters of old first put themselves beyond the possibility of defeat, and then waited for an opportunity of defeating the enemy. To secure ourselves against defeat lies in our own hands, but the opportunity of defeating the enemy is provided by the enemy himself. Analyze your opponents look for chinks in their armor. The smallest cracks under pressure can cause a collapse in an entire structure.
So she one might ask offense or defense? Defense or offense? What approach should you take when in combat. Security against defeat implies defensive tactics, ability to defeat the enemy means taking the offensive. Hence the skillful fighter puts himself into a position that makes defeat impossible and does not miss the moment for defeating the enemy. Have a well organized plan. Select and test the alternative strategies that are suitable to the situation, swing level, and volatility. Have the patience to wait for the opponent to make a mistake and take high reward and low risk situations for implementing your strategy. Have the discipline to execute again and again and not barge into a situation foolishly. Weapons, Jutsu, shinobi tools....non are more important on the battle field then your mind little sister. Your wit must stay twice as sharp as your blade at all times dear sister."
He would again pace before a clad hand would tap his chin. "Keep your self subtle sister a lesson I had to learn the hard way in my youth as fame or infamy can be your worst enemy. What is called a clever fighter is one who not only wins, but excels in winning with ease. His victories bring him neither reputation for wisdom nor credit for courage. For in as much as they are gained over circumstances that have not come to light, the world at large knows nothing of them, and he therefore wins no reputation for wisdom, and in as much as the hostile state submits before there has been any bloodshed, he receives no credit for courage. The greatest victory that can be won is one without combat. Spare your chakra and resources if it can be helped. Though attention to detail is key, analyze the situation and your surroundings and base your options off what is offered. Now what have you learned from this Shioni?"
"What have I learned this time around huh..." Shioni would first say while looking into the eyes of the man. He seemed so cold to everything and everyone around him, even in the eyes of Sourui Shioni she could see the burning blue flames inside of him. A passion... for blood? For the battlefield? For... war? Confused, the woman looked up at him. She looked up to him. A sense of envy as well. But she knew better... She knew he was trying to help her, trying to get her to be the strongest she could be.
"I know that... I have learned that you have to make sure you have the upper hand... the advantage at all times and not to show one moment of weakness." She stated. That was what he had told her wasn't it? She would soon make sure she was on guard at all times. She would make sure she knew better than to do everything that she had to do to stay on guard at all times. Her mind would create.. would use.. would work to enable her absolute security.
She would become a dangerous person to face in battle. Someone untouchable and could only be touched by those who actually knew her better. She would become the girl everyone had their eyes on in the battlefield but someone they could not keep up with. She knew where her strengths lay and she knew what her weaknesses were, but what she did not know was how to keep them concealed in the field of battle.
He smiled "Indeed but as a warrior you must understand the mind much like understanding the technique at your discretion. Remember there are 5 elements which are fire, air, earth, water, and lightning of these elements was understood to create the differences observed between various objects in the real world. These elements are representative of different stages of an ongoing process of transformation. On a deeper philosophical level, these elements are seen as stages of being in a cyclical process of becoming. These transformations are driven by the dynamic interplay between complementary opposites or the elemental wheel. You understand the elements in a way of simply transforming your Ki a destructive tool but there is so much more to it. However in all it is just a tool driven by the mind.
Now like the elemental wheel you must categorize the concepts of your mental thinking in much of the same way. In the the way of the Shinobi you must replace these elements by a more focused and mundane process. The five traditional elements are replaced by the five elements that define the competitive world mission or path, ground, climate, command, and methods. The most interesting of these is the "mission," which is the center to all others. In this philosphy you must understand that unlike unlike water and fire which are opposing traditional elements the elements of strategy are those of a complimentary factor. Fire and water are not complimentary because they do not aid or generate one another.
However the idea of complementary opposites is the key to understanding all systems. Systems of strategy exist as a balance of complementary opposites. While fire is associated with methods, it is more accurate to say that it is associated with positioning. Remember that the opponent must be like clay. Shaping the enemy means changing the rules of the contest and making one's opponent conform to one's desires and actions. It means taking control of the situation away from the enemy and putting it into one's own hands. One way of shaping the enemy is by the skillful use of alliances. By building a strong web of alliances, the moves of the opponent can be limited. Also, by eliminating its alliances, one can weaken the enemy.
"Interesting..." Said she, as she listened to him speak. The words that came out of his mouth seemed much like the unwritten rules she would have never heard about until now. He had a point and it was true. You must think of your opponents like clay and mold them into what you need them to be on the battlefield. She had to be able to use both their strengths and their weaknesses against them, turning their strengths into a disadvantage. She knew everything had their pros and their own cons and with the way things could be, she could turn into one bloody killer.
"To do this, I must be able to turn the game into my own. Switch positions for one..." She said, as she tried to see herself fighting those enemies she could have. She knew her own weaknesses and strengths and she needed to turn those weaknesses into strengths and not underestimate her opponents. She knew just like many other people she could be easily molded into something far weaker than she should be on the battlefield. She was not going to stand for that anymore and she would definitely hold her own into the battleground.
"I must be able to adapt well, as well." She said, as she imagined herself going through that. She needed jutsus, weapons, poisons, and pure skill in order to help her on the battleground. She needed to understand life, death and just about everything about it. As a combat medic, she had most of that hands down. But perhaps, there was something more she needed to uncover.

PL New Technique
Temple of Heaven (Tendan 天壇)- I lesser variant of the Heavenly body technique the user focuses ki into the muscle tissue and uses the collective muscle mass to reflect the force of any attack applied(non Ki based) at the exact moment back at the attacker with double the force. Thus hitting Nameless with a physical attack hurts you instead of him. Those who are twice his PL can penetrate this technique however.
