The Hunt (Ikezu Training Part 2 Finished)

The sands blurred underneath Ikezu as he began the second part of his training regimen, hunting. It just so happened that this was his first time hunting, and at a time and age where Inaurians would traditionally go on their first hunt in order to pass from the realms of boyhood into the realms of manhood. As he flew through the Saiyan desert he approached the mutated forest, renowned for its fierce creatures. He grinned and set foot on the warm ground.

With each step into this forest enchanted through radiation, anticipation built. His hands twitched, his eyes flittered back and forth looking for the most powerful looking creature he could see. The smooth bark of the still stripped trees reminded him of the past mistakes of this planet, a past riddled with war. Suddenly out of the corner of his eye Ikezu spotted something, a huge tail. With that as his cue he broke into a dash, using his cat-like agility to navigate the tight spaces bounding off of trees, corkscrewing in between low branches, and otherwise ninjaing the crap out of the forest.

He stopped suddenly sliding along the ground, losing his balance from the speeds he was running and rolling forward to a stop, turning quickly to catch a glimpse of his prey. A huge scaled back, with what looked like stegosaurus scales on its back. Whatever it was, it was huge, the spikes of its shoulders so large that they easily tower near the tops of the trees. Ikezu’s excitement leapt through his chest as he continued to follow the creature through the trees, catching glimpses of scales, spines, and a brief image of one of the creature’s long powerful arms. He wanted to know as much as he could about this creature. He’d flank the creature, and climb a nearby tree in order to get a full view of it. As it passed him he’d note any weaknesses if any.

The creature walked on all four, his arms were as thick as the jungle trees with five defined claws on five long fingers. His arms were scaled, with a spike about 2 feet long on either elbow. Its back was covered in huge spines from the top of its neck to the middle of its tail, ranging from size with the smallest being at the ends and the largest being in the middle. The back would definitely be a No Zone. Its stomach seemed soft, like an alligator’s belly, scaled but smooth. Its legs were massive and powerful, alluding to an ability to walk on two legs. Its feet ended in 4 toes, webbed and clawed, alluding to it being able to swim and run quickly. Its tail made up for half of its length. The only thing that Ikezu hadn’t seen was its head.

He continued to stalk his prey, looking for weaknesses, anything that he could use against the creature. But he couldn’t find anything except for his stomach, and its mouth. Looking around he realized that the creature was heading towards the desert, at which point there would be no cover for Ikezu to hide. He had to think of something quickly, and he decided to create a Ki ball in both hands. The ki smoke from the balls impacts would distract the beast so that Ikezu could get a few more blows in.

As the beast exited forest it rose up on its back legs, having realized it had been followed all along turned its back and roared. Showing its full might!



Ikezu quickly hurled a ki ball at the creature’s mouth, making contact with its chin knocking it off balance, the second ball thrown right at its left leg, knocking the creature over. The monster unfazed got to all four glaring at the young Inaurian, sparks flowing along the spines on its back.

“Shit.”

OOC: May I have someone NPC the monster for me? I based him off of Godzilla, so whatever Godzilla could do it can do too. Also, if it's possible could I count this as sparring training?

The huge monster opened his mouth and a huge white energy ball formed bursting forth toward Ikezu. Not having much time he fell towards the ground allowing the energy beam to pass over him. Looking towards the forest he saw a huge hole burn through the trees falling an endlessly long path. Turning his head towards the monster he got an idea.

‘If I could manage to blast that energy beam before he fires it, maybe I could detonate it in his mouth. But how do I know when he’s going to use it. I don’t have a choice except to force him to use it again.’ Ikezu thought to himself, looking at the monster he split himself in two. The duplicates flew around the beast blasting him with ki balls in an attempt to annoy him. The monster responded swiping his tail to and fro, slashing the air with his arms and biting at whatever he could. Fortunately Ikezu’s quick and agile movements made these acts useless.

Quickly the monster became angered, and the blue lightning rushed up his back. His mouth opened and another energy blast burst outwards clipping the fake Ikezu, vaporizing him. The energy left over rushed into Ikezu and he finally knew what to do. Flipping over the beast he blasted him twice in the face with ki balls, distracting the beast before quickly doubling backwards. The beast attempted to follow Ikezu’s previous movements becoming dizzy, only to be met with a powerful ki blast to the side of his face; knocking him off balance again. Ikezu flew in between his legs blasting both legs simultaneously with a ki ball, forming a third ki ball between his palms charging it with a bit of energy before letting it loose straight into the monster’s stomach. The blast hit with such impact that it shoved the beast backwards 20 feet, before knocking it on its back.

As the beast rose up its anger showed as the sparks that had once flew from his scales, now flew from its body. The blast welled up in its mouth creating an aura through the teeth. The beast opened its mouth to roar, and as he did Ikezu through a ki ball at the blast.

Watching closely, he would find out too late that it was no good, as the monsters blast clipped him out of the sky, singeing his fur on his left arm. Ikezu got up, and smiled. Finally a challenge! He rose from the ground, and allowed his energy to flow through his body. He let out a roar which released his inert ferocity. His nails, fur, and body grew. His eyes slit focusing his attention to every detail of his enemy. His mind concentrated into a focused frenzy.

He pushed off the ground cracking the soil beneath him as his rushed the beast forming the Spirit of the Beast technique between his hands, grabbing the fully powered attack he split it into two energy gloves roaring as he did. As the huge lizard opened his mouth, Ikezu cocked his right fist back.

ROOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-

Faaaaaaaaaaaaaalcoooooooooooooooon PUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUNCH!!!!!!!!!

Ikezu flew straight through the great reptiles head, punching the back of its gullet. On impact the glowing glove exploded with such impact that it blew straight through the lizard’s spinal cord creating a tunnel for Ikezu to fly through, masked by a smoke screen of blood, sinew, and shattered vertebrae.

As he exited he quickly flew around and rushed upwards as the dinosaur fell forwards on its knees, screaming “SHOOOOOOOOOOORYUKEN!!!!!” and proceeded to blast straight through the bottom of the monster’s neck and straight out the top of its skull; creating a shower of brains and flesh on the exit.

With the dinosaur dead, he would use his carcass as his weight training. He’d grab the titan by its tail and dragging the whole 25 tonnes back to his plateau, where he would use it as a punching bag until he could break through its ultra-hard back spines with ease. Afterwards he would eat the monster’s heart, lightly cooked, in an effort to perhaps take on some of the beast’s power, like how Mayans would eat the hearts of their sacrifices in order to absorb their spirit.

After all this was done he would take carcass of the beast, whole minus the heart, and sell it for how every much Zeni he could get out of it.
