Vrykella hadn't the words to describe how she felt, but she knew she didnt like it, she became angrier and angrier with every passing hour as she looked about the room she was created in, her makers skeleton limply slumped in an armchair and the iron cauldron still half crashed into the floor and ripe with the foul smell of the strange substances she had been composed with.
without any knowledge of language all she could do is scream and roar in frustration and sorrow like a wild animal lamenting a loss it couldn't really understand, her bellows shook the entire decrepit building, and making the skeletal remains of her maker rattle like wooden wind chimes.
with no sense of time she would have been happy to carry on like this for heaven knows how long, however as she reached a resounding pitch and the windows gave way to her noise and the the icy wind blasted in, this new stimuli was more than sufficient to shock her back to silence.
tentatively she approached the nearest gaping hole from which the cold was emerging, with slight hesitation she poked her head out over the threshold, quickly pulling it back and looking up at the top of the hole accusingly. the jagged shards of glass still clinging to there frame looked undeniably like teeth and this was more than enough reason for her to regard it with suspicion, but the strange new world she had been made aware of lured her so.
making up her mind, she threw herself through the now empty window as hard as she could, her heart filled with confusion and rage, she felt that it would be worth the risk to try and escape this horrible feeling and if she should feel, the mouth, lined with its sharp, clear teeth would end her suffering soon enough.
needless to say she effortlessly crashed through the window, smashing its frame and shattering the shards of glass on her skin as if they were made of icing sugar. landing face down on the cold hard ground, she remained as such for a little over a minuit before rolling over, getting up and howling in triumph over her imaginary foe.
it was at some point in her resulting victory dance she felt another new sensation, that of her ki surging from her chest, up her arms and into her balled fists, again her new discovery halted her in her tracks as she regarded her hand, with a mix of curiosity and fear, she lightly, extended it out to the fullest of its reach and shook her arm slightly from side to side.
She was rather caught off guard when the house she was stood in front of developed a huge horizontal furrow where her hand had been pointing. though unlearned in the ways of the world it did not take much of her intellect to realize that she had done that, somehow, she had damaged the house, cut nearly clean through it. another, harder swing, this time from over her head parted the house right down the middle. and caused a forward segment, loosened by her previous blow to fall forward and crash into the ground.
she liked this feeling, this feeling of power she had, curiously she tried moving her hands in other ways, delighting with every pulse of the surging sensation passing from her fingers and the slow whittling of the building into nothing but scraps of sheared concrete and wood, finding it easier with her fingers extended after a further bit of experimentation.
it did not take her more than a few minutes to reduce the shamble of a two story building to splinters and fragments of concrete that littered the grounds it had stood over. feelings of pride flooded her as she swung both arms up in triumph, and to her shock, caused a large area before her to explode, shrieking in surprise and fear she ran as fast as her legs would carry her and off into the wilderness, swiping out with her new learned power to topple the tall, brown tree's that got in her way.
she ran for what felt like forever, before finaly succumbing to exhaustion on the ledge of a cliff overlooking a small town, her purple eyes widening with wonderment at the pretty lights the small buildings gave off. she wanted to go there ! she wanted to go there so much ! but her legs had stopped listening to her and when she tried to drag herself with her arms, they just shook and wobbled unsettlingly, realizing there wasn't really much she could do about that. with a slight whimper of disappointment she resigned herself to waiting for them to start obeying her again.
it was as she lay there that sleep snuck up on her and drew her in for first time. and she dirfted up into a world her small mind had fabricated for her, free of the feelings she didnt like and over populated with the ones she did like, even fabricating new ones for her to enjoy.
She liked that. She liked that a lot.
