Vrykella had discovered the city was a lot less fun during the day. it wasnt as pretty or as bright in the light of the sun, that had let her down a little...she couldn't find any of the people who had made those adoreable noises and been so eager to play with her.
She was honestly disapointed the city had looked so vibrant and exiting in the dark with its multitude of lights and sounds and movements, but now during the day it was just so gray and boring and still.
she quietly paced around an empty street ignoring the occasional human who stopped to look at her with there various amusing expressions, she simply assumed they were admiring her hat and there was nothing odd about her dark purple complexion or her amber eyes set in black cornea.
nor her slender head tentacle swaying behind her like a kittens tail, she had simply assumed they were far more skilled at taking shape than she was, they had to be.
she had nearly totaly lost intrest in the city and made to head back out into the wilderness when she saw it. a brightly lit window, filled with beautiful, colourful contraptions that had her so totaly entranced she didnt even realize she had began to cross the fortunately desolate road ( it would have been a shame to ruin her good score, even for somthing as wonderful as this window) till he found her face pressed up against the glass.
it was a bit cold, but at least it didn't smell that bad, a lick later and she knew it tasted far worse than it smelled, but that was a secondary concern for her right now.
she longed for a particular object in the widow, a small, porcelain doll with beautiful auburn hair, slowly looking left to right to make sure no one was watching, she raked her fingers across the surface of the glass, shattering it utterly.
the resulting wailing of an alarm spooked her throughly, so she grabbed her doll, and shrieking to drown out that terrible drone as she skittered away, she'd almost gotten away when one of those shiny cars snuck up on her and sent her tumbling, this one however was strange, it had come off of the black section and onto the pavement and it had lights ontop.
to disorientated to defend herself and slightly bummed about her doll being reduced to powder by the impact, she found herself with her wrists bound behind her back and being carried under one of the peoples arms.
She liked that, he was warm and the proximity was comforting. it was a shame she barely had time to savor it before she was placed in the back of the shiny thing, though riding in that was sorta fun too, she purred placidly as it came to a halt and she found herself being carried again.
she only began to resist when they put her in that small room, all on her own, she hated this feeling ! it was the same feeling she had when she was back in that house !
Tears streamed from her eyes, she wailed and scratched lightly at the door for hours, pleading with her friends to let her out in her strange language of grunts and whimpers, sounding more like an enraged wild animal than a weeping child, none dared to even come to see what was the matter.
it was an act of desperation that drove her to attack the door, she hadn't wanted to act like that around her friends but this feeling was hurting her so much she simply couldn't bear another second, so with all of her might she slammed her balled fists into the door, buckling it beneath the power of her blow as if it were made of playdoh, screaming and crying she ran, charging straight through walls but swerving to avoid the men and women in blue that attempted to get in her way. not out of any worry for there well being, but more not trusting them anymore, they had done this terrible thing to her for no reason her simple mind could have imagined. and no amount of holding or carrying was worth being locked in one of those little rooms for any stretch of time.
her escape was easy enough, the station was a civilian one, not even suitable for holding earths own mighty martial artists, she crashed through the materials of its constructions as a child through a swath of reeds and back into the wilds.
She didn't like the people in blue anymore, they'd pretended to be nice so they could put her in a box and make her cry, that and they'd destroyed her dolly and stolen her hat!
What despicable people they'd turned out to be.
(PL please)
