The sweet smell of the budding flowers on the planet of Namek was an aroma all to familiar for the fair natives of the planet, Seasons were not the same as we recognize on earth, but ar rather the same thing. In the mountains it is cold, and everywhere else on the planet is a fair warm, nearing 85 degree;s Fahrenheit. The natives had grown accustomed to the weather knowing that it was never different, it was never to hot or to cold, and it would never change regardless of how much the planet shifted.
This was one of the best things about Planet Namek in Tenshu's opinion, there were rarely surprises in the area. People followed the laws set by the great Guru, and for the most part there were never problems, or at least non that were made aware to Tenshu.
This was the case for most of his life, however in his mid twenties this would change, and Tenshu would learn the bitterness that was life. His innocence would be ripped away from him just as it is for all of us, like a child learning that Santa Claus is not real, or a young man learning that good does not triumph over evil. Truly a shock was about to hit the young healer on the day of the fourth full moon, in the eve of the warm months. His father was visited by several strangely dressed men, their faces were covered, and their garb was strange, it was not common to see men so well armored in the area, they looked most like what Tenshu had imagined war to look like.
The rest of the town was in a murmur of rumors as to why they were speaking with Tenshu's father, what he could have done to attract such extravagant attention, and it was not until later that day that Tenshu would learn what these men were after, and how it would change him forever...

Entering the medical tent as he always did Tenshu finally interrupted the large me whom were still conversing with their father. Their words had become heated, and Tenshu even feared for the life of his father, and so he stepped in, doing what he felt was the best he could for his father, and for himself.
"Gentlemen, whatever you have to say to my father can be said with me, I am a shaman prince and serve as the head medic here, so there is no need to burden him if there is any way i can assist you"
Tenshu's father looked over at him quickly with a sharp glare, although he had not actually spoken to his son, it was clear what the intention of this evil eye was. He had spoken out of turn, in a conversation he was not welcomed in, and tenshu began to doubt his decision as the four figures turned to face him, their masks were scarey although Tenshu was an adult and was not frightened, their masks were still intimidating, and each one read something different
復讐 (Revenge)
嫌い (Hate)
カオス (Chaos)
欲 (Greed)
Tenshu took a step back before one of the men finally spoke once more, the man whom had Chaos across his forehead said calmly, and in a voice that Tenshu would not have expected for a man with such a poor demeanor stapled on his head to have such a light voice, almost child like.
"Prince Shaman Tenshu, it was expected that you would eventually jump in and that may be for the better. Your talents have been brought to our attention, your healing is known well throughout the planet as the best, and it is the belief of the mighty Guru that you will come with us to join the GG"
The GG was an elite squad of Namekians whom each possessed a talent needed to aid the mighty Guru these units were spectacular and often revered as the strongest on the planet. No one was able to stand up to the Guru Guardians and live to tell about it. Yes these men truly were remarkable, however their identities remained anonymous, those who knew of their identities were often killed, or sworn to silence -more often then not they would choose the ladder of the two-
Tenshu was taken aback, he had never heard that he was the greatest at anything before, and this was something he had never expected to occur. Looking back on his past achievements Tenshu could see where these men were coming from, but had no idea that his feats were out of the ordinary, for the GG to be seeking him out was an honor, and Tenshu could not understand why his father was so heavily displeased.
"I keep trying to tell you half wits, he is not coming with you, go and find another patsy for your regime and leave my family out of this!"
Tenshu was confused by his fathers outburst, and the one labeled Hate was not pleased, the other three stood back while the other turned to my father and spoke in a less friendly tone than his partner had.
"Thats it old man, i warned you last time to watch your mouth!"
Hate held up one arm and shot a Ki blast into his fathers chest, not only knocking the father back, but effectively throwing him out of the tent, ripping the fabric and forcing him into the middle of town.
Hate took a step out of the hole he had created and began to walk towards Tenshu's collapsed father as if he were not yet done with the man, and what happened next surprised even Tenshu. His father rose to his feet and entered a strange fighting stance, he had never witnessed his father fight before, so you can imagine the shock he had when his father rushed Hate striking him several times in the mid-section and then doing a back-flip over to a nearby clay house.
Hate fumbled backwards only to immediately spring forward at his father, using his arms to extend forward and strike his father in the jaw, then wrapping his other free arm around the elder namek. His father responded by expanding himself, as though he was growing several feet taller, to the point where hate's arms were intended so heavily that he had no choice but to release him.
Hate however did the same action, his body growing slightly larger than father;s. The two began to fight faster than most of the villagers could see, nearly disappearing in their combat. This was surreal to Tenshu as he had never witnessed his father in any sort of combat, let alone fighting a member of the GG, and even more confusing was the fast that the GG was standing by while their comrad fought alone, however it became apparent to Tenshu why this was after only a few moments when Hate held out his arm and fired a large Ki energy blast, one that not only struck his father but caused him to shrink exponentially. Yes his father had lost the fight and was now writhing in pain on the ground, twisting about as Hate shrunk and landed in-front of him. Picking up the broken Namekian by the shirt cuff and then placing one hand around his father's neck. Tenshu couldnt take anymore, with tears in his eyes he yelled out to hate.
"Stop! Please stop! I will join you, i will do whatever you want, just please dont hurt him anymore!"
The entire village was in shock by Tenshu's statement, no one would dare stop a fight with the GG once it had been started, but Hate seemed appeased, dropping his father in the dirt below and walking back to his friends, whom remained standing in the same position they had been before the fight, their discipline was surreal, and Tenshu would soon learn exactly what it was like to be a member of the GG.
They had him pack his things and then left the village. However only moments after leaving the GG turned, grabbing Tenshu's shirt and ripping it.
Chaos then shot a beam into the Air, which created a rippling explosion. He finished the attack by throwing Tenshu's shirt tail back down to the village, they would believe Tenshu to be dead...and that's exactly what the GG wanted...secrecy

Training was Rough for the GG, Tenshu was forced to learn things he had never imagined, such as survival techniques for wilderness he wasnt even aware existed, hand to hand combat, Ki energy attacks, and an ability many Namekiens have no idea that they even have. The great Namekian transformation, in which the user grows exponentially, growing in speed and power.
Tenshu still was not an avid believer in violence, and this limited what he was able to accomplish in training. In many cases he would fail trainings because he refused to kill the creature that they pitted him against. However this was not something that the Guru disliked.
After nearly 6 months of training, he had still been unable to enter the guru's quarters, or speak to the mighty protector. His actions had been reported, and this fact would quickly change as the Guru was informed.
"My lord, I do not understand your decision, this Namekien is nothing more than a healer, he holds no value in the GG, he will not kill, he rarely will fight. Hell the other day he trained our fighting Gorgon (A large wild animal often used for training purposes in the GG) to sit and stay. M'lord he is a lost cause"
Chaos said these things to the mighty Guru in the hopes of releasing the young man of his duties, however the Guru had other Idea's in mind.
Guru's response would shock everyone in the GG including Tenshu, as he requested to see the young man. And so Tenshu entered the Guru's home, taking a small step through the door, and feeling the Immense power coming from the large man within the throne.
Guru spoke slowly as Tenshu began to bow, he felt honored, even to the point of tears to be in the presence of the mighty Guru. This feeling only intensified as the Guru spoke.
"My child...You are of a unique power...Unlike the other members of my Guardianship, you possess something none of them are capable of understanding....you...have....Compassion... Each of my GG members come from a troubled past and have taken the name of the feeling they have towards the world. This tradition has bothered me as you can imagine, it has tainted ......my corp. But you...Can turn this around....You posses the compassion for decency and understanding....You are capable of far more than any other on this planet....And that is why....I give you this"
Guru handed Tenshu a mask, one similar to those of the GG, however it had nothing written on it, the black forehead gleamed in the sunlight as Guru continued his explanation to the young namekien.
"You will be the start of the next generation, our savior....what shall our saviors name be..."
Tenshu thought for a moment as he looked at the mask placed before him. He felt as though this was a milestone, an achievement that was greater for him than any before, but he could not decide on a name, he could not imagine what represented him, what represented a better, kinder, GG...
Guru put his hands out to the young man before him, placing his hand on his forehead and with one loud grunt, a power surged around him, Tenshu felt his mind awake, his thoughts and feelings became so clear, his intentions had grown, and Guru had awakened the Namekiens true potential. His power increased drastically and his mind was purified.
Then it hit him.....The name that he needed above all else....The name that would lead the new generations out of war, and into a grander life. The words began to burn into his mask, and a smile lit up on the Guru's face, he could not have been more proud of the Young Namekiens choice. He had embodied the purity and redemption of the team in one word, in a word that could describe any strength that has been revived, and any power that seeks for the better of his world...and for the better of the universe.
Across his forehead for several years to come, read the word...
