Aliza sighed heavily as she lay on her bed In the quiet darkness of her chambers. She'd wanted to go with her brother to the palace but someone had to hold down the fort. Rolling onto her back as she contemplated in her foul mood. Maybe his aggressive demeanor would appeal to the militaristic nature of his Majesty better than her own more placid one.
She was deep in her thoughts when suddenly someone entered her room unannounced. She didn't even have time to register the slightest detail about the intruder before her fear fueled reaction took over. her hand came up and her telekinesis seized the the fragile form of the invader.
She sat bolt upright and setting eyes on her intruder blushed furiously. It was one of the household cleaner-bots, its plating has slightly bent under the kinetic constriction. It was whirring in loud futility to free its self from the invisible bonds holding it.
"Stupid robot!" she bellowed indignantly as she curled her fingers and tightened her psychic grip accordingly. The robots movements ceasing as the pressure robbed it of wiggle room. Oh how she'd longed to have crushed it right then and there. she'd only need to bring her curled fingers into a closed fist. but no. Her ways were those of self restraint and patience.
Slowly she released her grip and taking a moment to calm herself a little before she spoke proceeded to forbid the automaton to enter her room whilst she was so much as on the grounds of her estate. She was silently thankful it had not been one of the living staff members as most beings tended to go into shock when they were squeezed that hard. The robot however was unfazed in its ignorance of how close a brush with its own destruction it had just experienced.
The silent machine bowed in acknowledgement and clunked swiftly out of earshot. The door closing soon after it turns away. Once again she found herself in the dim darkness of her bedchamber with nothing but her thoughts for company.
she took a moment to check on her stocks via the glowing screen of a small palm pad computer. They seemed to be doing well enough. Satisfied she shut the machine off and layed back down on her bed. In the long run time would tell.
She could only hope that time would tell her In-time.
(zeni please.)
