Everything was starting to clear up, Zach’s mind getting sharper now that his insides were starting to function again, but this of course meant he needed fuel. With so much fluid lost in the form of the huge puddle of blood he’d left at the scene of the battle and the remainder staining his hair, skin and pants, Kami was correct that the boy needed to drink, and soon eat something. He was still weak and almost dropped the container the green man handed him. It took a few moments but he managed to get the opening to his lips and drank about half of it’s contents, finally washing the metallic taste of his own blood out of his mouth in the process.
“Ahhh… That’s so much better. Thank you.” the blonde started. “Um, ok, the begi…” he was starting to continue when the Captain arrived, making his displeasure with his actions very clearly and loudly known. It was bad enough he’d almost been killed, did he need to be called stupid in front of everyone? Zach tried not to look as embarrassed as he felt, he had started to look up to the Captain and now the guy was calling him a moron. He didn’t want to just lay there and be insulted either, regardless of who was doing it.
“I had to do something you know. I wasn’t just going to float around on your ship and wait for it all to be over. Hell you didn’t even know he was here until after the fight…” Zach yelled back, barely finishing before being seized by a fit of coughing accompanied by further groans caused by the sudden motion of his torso.
“Errrrr… I’m ok… I’m ok…” he coughed and took a few moments to get a hold of himself. Two other young men had accompanied Ryota, one Zach recognized from his outburst at the banquet, the other was new to him. It was the one he recognized that asked about the conclusion of the battle. Evidently not only didn’t they know about Suki’s arrival, they weren’t even aware that there had been a fight until their arrival here.
“He killed me, that’s what happened… Or damn near managed to.” Zach continued. “I pushed him pretty hard though. I’ve got no cause to brag, I lost the fight after all, but I’m certain I was more then he ever expected from anyone here. At the beginning he was annoyed that I was the only one to show up. We traded insults, I attacked him. He started thrashing me with that tail of his. He eventually tried to use an energy beam on me but was completely shocked when I knocked it back at him.” Zach explained, not going into too much detail as he himself couldn’t remember every detail.
“He got really pissed that I managed to do that and launched something as me that I couldn’t block. I finally managed a clean hit on him, both knees right in his face and he went down, I mean down hard. He didn’t get up again until I tried to get in his ship. He was even more pissed that I tried to get in there. Things got even more desperate when he tight me up with his tail and just started beating the crap out of me. That’s when I really got him. Transformed and I broke that creeps tail, right over my knee. Then it got bad.” Zach continued, winching in pain as both what he was still feeling and what he remembered from the fight. “He had some kind of altered form of something, he got really big and muscular in just a few seconds. Then he started using some mind power thing to chuck rocks at me and eventually got me tied up again. I saved up all the power I could and tried to blow his head off with it but it barely even burned him. Then he uh… he…” Zach stopped there and looked down at the massive blood stain that had inundated the top half of his charred pants.
It was all sinking in now, now that he’d relived the whole experience and it was fresh and vivid once more in his mind he felt like crawling into a corner and crying. He’d only ever felt so helpless on one other occasion, when his family and nearly everyone in his home town were murdered by the Saiyan butchers. He tried to hide it and looked away from the seven pairs of eyes that were boring into his soul, his own eyes started to water but he’d managed to keep from openly sobbing; that would probably come later when he was alone. For now the boy had to look strong, always had to look strong.

Kami outstretched his hand, placing it softly on the young man's shoulder. He knew how hard this was for him to explain, but it was something every person here needed to hear. In addition it wouldn't hurt to both learn of Suki's fighting style, while also convincing everyone the danger they were in.
"Zach I am sorry this happened to you. I hate to say I told you so, but you knew what this monster was capable of. But I wont add insult to injury, you have earned yourself a rest"
Kami turned to Kris whom had come to his aid. He had not seen the boy in several weeks due to his travels, and it never ceased to amaze him how much older he looked, after only a few weeks the boy already seemed like an adult. However he to had a naive look about him, one that he needed to shake away immediately.
"Nehan, grab Zach here some food from the back, nothing to heavy, bread will do."
After sending off his young disciple The Kami rose once more, taking his hand off of Zach, and beckoning it forward. As if motioning for something to come to him. And within only a few moments a small crystal ball began to float out of the doorway of the Lookout, this would occur around the same time Nehan would return with the bread.
"Everyone, please let me draw your attention to the crystal ball"
Kami put his hands on the ball, and then looked back to zach.
"Young one, if this is to difficult to watch, you may turn away"
Kami touched his forhead, keeping two fingers pressed against his brow, and the other hand firmly on the floating ball. Suddenly an image appeared on the ball, it was Zach, before his injury, before the fight. It was him from the moment the doors to the ship opened, from the moment he told the alien creature to get off of their planet.
And just like that the entire battle would be shown to the surrounding warriors. Every punch, every Ki strike, and every ounce of blood would be shown to the crowd of people.
Even Kami couldnt help but sigh as Zach was impaled, it wasnt easy to watch, especially for a second time. Kami having witnessed the fight as it was happening.
And as the two black cloaked figures entered the scene, the ball stopped the images, and Kami awaited through the silence for somebody to say something, anything really.

Nam braced himself, preparing to hear every detail of Zach’s encounter with the mysterious villain. Mysterious to Nam of course, it seemed everyone but he and Royd knew what was going on. Suddenly, a loud noise was heard. Nam receded from his crouched position and turned 180 degrees, watching as a giant boat was flying down from the sky. Nam covered his eyes from the strong breeze it was producing. As it approached, a figure jumped off the airborne pirate ship and flew to their direction. The man had long black hair, about shoulder length, and he wore a white cape with long shoulder pads that narrowed out of his broad chest. He didn’t seem to waste any time getting down to help the green man, it seemed they already knew each other. As usual, Nam analyzed his power level; it was like a rutinary thing whenever he saw a new person. It wasn’t to compare, rather than it felt like a different way to know the person. Even so, Nam would usually end up comparing anyway. The power emitting from him was quite impressive, he was around Nam’s own.
A moment later, the big flying ship had already landed and various ramps would come out and connect to the tiled floors of the Lookout. From them a single man walked out, while another jumped down next to him. Nam remained calm and kept a straight face as they arrived. The latter had long hair and a white jacket. Nam was a bit confused because he couldn’t sense energy from him, while the other man walking next to him was emitting a very impressive power. He was probably stronger than Zach. He was also the one wearing the most formal clothes. He had green short hair and an eye patch on his right eye. As soon as he arrived, he inspected the shirtless man on the ground and began to lecture him.
Wait… they know eachother? Nam thought. The other man, whom was next to the first began asking questions, which Zach was about to answer. Nam was confused by his statement, “...but even an Android can hope, apparently."
After their scolding, Zach began to defend himself, saying how he couldn’t just wait around for everything to end. But he was soon overwhelmed by the strain in his voice, coughing and groaning from pain. Nam decided to stay quiet, it was evident that he knew nothing about anything at the moment. Finally, Zach began to explain…
From everything Zach had said, all Nam could gather about their enemy is that he possessed some kind of transformation. It wasn’t really helpful, but it seemed the blondie managed to stand his ground and force this thing to its ultimate form; which was indeed something to note. Zach then stopped and looked away. He didn’t have to say anything for Nam –or anyone to understand. That’s when everything turned around and he was nearly killed.
The alleged Namekian sent out the man next to him, Nehan, to get some bread for the shirtless wonder. As he returned with the food, there was a crystal ball resting on the alien’s green hands. He had long white, sharp nails. He pressed two of his fingers onto Zach’s forehead and an image appeared on the sphere. It was Zach. He was heading towards the Lookout. That was the first time I saw him after the tournament… he had an amazing power…, the half-saiyan thought. After that he left almost immediately to face this Touketsuki person… now look at him…
The image left the scene of Nam and Zach’s reunion and followed the blond man as he desperately raced towards Satan City, where the powerful energy had spawned. He had searched around the city for a while, which reminded Nam that he couldn’t sense energy. It surprised him, that regardless all his new found strength, he still hadn’t learned how to sense energy. After a while, he finally arrived. Nam’s eyes widened as he saw Touketsuki Yakedo. It was exactly the same entity he had seen in the jar back in Korin’s Tower. There was now no doubt in Nam’s mind that he was who he is.
“Get off my planet.” Zach rasped and clenched his fists at his sides, facing the white alien with armor-like skin.
"Your planet eh, getting a little ahead of yourself" the vile creature replied as he levitated down the ramp of his ship. He was quite small, but his voice was calm, yet threatening. He began to set down some sort of rule, Nam frowned as he heard this: "I have three rules, The first is that this is a one on one fight, as soon as it’s not, all bets are off, and there will be consequences. Secondly, you may back out once we have started to either join my cause, or pay me the 4000Z I requested –And finally... This fight is to the death"
What is this, a game to him? Nam thought. This Touketsuki person thought he could just come to this planet and demand them to provide him with money –that, or join his stupid organization. After exchanging a few more insults and whatnot, Zach activated his translucent armor and charged in, but was quickly overwhelmed by the monster’s tail as it swiftly attacked his open midsection. But this didn’t stop the blond man, he continued to attack, but Touketsuki to not have any trouble blocking his punches, while he continued to strike the shirtless man’s abdomen. Nam couldn’t help but notice how easily this alien managed to take advantage of Zach’s one weakness, while Nam was not capable of this back at the tournament. The half-saiyan clenched his fists as the monster was already overwhelming the shirtless man –and the battle was just beginning!-
The battle continued for quite some time. Stone flew in the air, stones got smashed into pieces, the shirtless wonder transformed and turned the battle around a bit returning a thin and blinding fast beam at the tyrant, using a move Nam had not seen before. But although surprised, Touketsuki slapped it away like nothing. The white alien seemed to be getting agitated and used a second attack:
"PUNISHER CANNON!" it screamed, as it held it’s wrist and shot out a large purple beam, about three feet in diameter, which Zach evaded. But the beam grinded through the ground’s surface and destroyed a mountain. Debris began to fall over them and possibly over the city as well. After this, Zach finally managed to get two good knees on the tyrant’s face and force him to the ground –where he stayed for a considerable amount of time.
Moments later, it was what Zach had described. He had broken the tyrant’s tail; he became enraged with pain and went through a gruesome transformation. Its arms, legs and body became longer. His nails grew, his horns grew, his neck shortened under the mass of his thorax and he had his hands over the helpless man’s neck. Zach tried to finish him off with an eye beam attack –another new technique Nam was unaware of, but it barely scratched him.
"Oh you poor soul, allow me to finish you" Touketsuki teased, as he impaled the shirtless wonder with his overhead horns, which pierced through his flesh and possibly bones. This scene was the hardest to watch. Nam almost felt himself cringing or covering his face, he couldn’t imagine himself going through this. A little later, the hooded man appeared and rescued Zach from the tyrant’s cluches. The image stopped…
It was time to comment about the things observed, but Nam couldn’t seem to manage a response. What did he just watch? In the end, Touketsuki Yakedo left with his money and nearly killed Zach. It angered Nam that he got away with it. He was like all the typical beings Nam had met. The ones who believe they can do as they please, just because they had the power to do it. At least now, everyone knew what to expect.
Nam glanced at Zach from the corner of his eyes and turned to the green man. “I… assume he’ll be returning?" he began, "thanks to this, now we know what we’re up against…” the half-saiyan turned to the green haired man that was scolding Zach a minute ago. “I agree that Zach may have been a bit reckless, but in the end he stood his own and saved us all.” He then looked back at the alleged Namekian holding the sphere and continued, “instead of lecturing him, we should be training to fight this tyrant and take him out.” Nam thought that he was perhaps being a bit naïve, but he couldn’t see any other solution. It was obvious that this creature was not open for discussion. He was trying to taking the whole world as a hostage and so far he’s been getting what he wanted. If someone didn’t step up and overwhelm him, it would never end. Nam knew what he was fighting against, he knew what it was capable of, and now he knew what his goal was. The planet was in danger and it was time for him to step up and fulfill the promise he made to himself, and to the world. This was a test to him, and not an easy one at that. Nam was more sure than ever now.
He stood there, waiting for their reactions.

Kris listened intently to Zach's story of his fight with the monster, Touketsuki. Throughout the tale, Kris clenched his fists in anger. The rage that built inside him was even stronger than during the Meishi dilemma. Suki was pure evil, and wanted nothing more than to simply step on Earth, only to take control of it in the future. Kris took a deep breath, however, as he calmed his nerves. Kami's teachings trained Kris to control his emotions, and not let them cloud his judgment.
Kami then asked Kris to retrieve some bread for Zach. Kris nodded at his mentor before replying: "Of course, master." It was true that Kris still had the mentality of a naive teenager, and he knew that he would need to mature if he ever wanted to serve as a guardian alongside Kami. He took pride in his position of Kami's right-hand-man, and wanted others to look up to him as well. Kris promptly stood up and ran to the food pantry located deeper within the temple. He opened the door and looked around at different dry food items that were easily stored such as bread, rice, pasta and the trail mix Kami enjoyed so much. Kris reached for a foot-long loaf of bread. It happened to be one of Kris's favorite snacks here at the lookout... It was baked to a perfect crisp on the outside, but soft and hearty on the inside. Though it tasted rather bland, it's texture made for excellent comfort food, perfect for the injured Zach.
Kris held the bread in one hand as he quickly made his way back to where the other were gathered. As soon as Kris returned, Kami had informed everyone to observe a crystal ball. Kami's fingers were pressed against Zach's forehead, so Kris held onto the bread for now. He watched as the fight unfolded as an image within the ball that floated in front of Kami's hand. Kris again felt aggravated, but he was doing better at controlling his anger than before.
As soon as the fight was over with, Nam spoke up and mentioned how he thought they should all train to defeat Suki. Kris usually remained silent, but this was a subject he felt strongly about. He spoke up to agree with Nam. "I agree with him... Under Kami's training, my strength increased dramatically in only a few months. I believe that together, we can stop Touketsuki if we train hard." Kris then took the opportunity to help Zach. He tore off a four-inch chunk of bread and kneeled down, handing it to Zach. "Here, eat this slowly.", he whispered to Zach as to not disturb the conversation.

(Others are welcome to continue posting, however as if this were an actual conversation, Kami will be responding to Nam and Kris) "Stop it both of you!"
Kami exclaimed loudly and with much force. The Kami had never spoken so abrubtly with Nehan before, and since this was only the first time many of them were meeting the Kami it was likely not met with the same magnitude, however he seemed passionate in the way he spoke, and as such continued to explain to the two why this would not work.
"I apreciate your willingness to fight, but has this taught you nothing!?"
Kami touched the ball again, and this time it seemed to show only touketsuki, sitting on his throne within his galactic ship. Kami continued to explain
"Training will do only so much, however Suki will be working hard as well. In addition he has men on his side, he is not alone. Warriors who rival each of us in strength. Training to run out and fight simply isnt enough, and that kind of attitude will get you killed. I had called you all here in order to prevent conflict. I knew that as the greatest fighters you would likely want to try and stop suki, this is valor at its best. But each of you..."
Kami began to look around the circle at the men he had invited to his lookout, their attitudes may have varied, a few insulted, others demoralized, or perhaps they were impartial as he spoke, however Kami would address them each seperately.
"Nehan, I have trained you well, and you are without question my greatest Prodigy, but had you gone to face Suki, your fate would have been the same as Zach"
Then turning to Ryota
"Ryota, you are a man of amazing strength, far surpassing those of us here on the lookout now, but even you would have been nothing in comparison to the strength Suki possesses."
Over to Carmine
"Carmine, you are a creation of Justice, I knew if you had caught wind of Suki, that without a second thought you would go to stop him, and then your powers and talents would be wasted on a fight that I could not save you from, unlike zach I cannot heal you"
Next was Toshio
"Toshio, you are the master of one of the most prestigious schools in all of the world, losing you would mean losing the youth of the future, and you to have just the sort of valiant honor to jump in and fight when you know it to be a lost cause"
Royd
"Royd you were brought here because of your mental abilities, Suki is also a master of this art, and should he feel challenged, would have blown the nightflyer out of the sky" And finally to Nam
"Nam, I have watched you grow as a fighter, always wanting to bring you here one day. You have never stepped down from a challenge, your ultimate weakness is that you lack confidence in your abilities, Even now you have stood here wondering why you were summoned, however if you had the confidence to back up your strength you would know that you are one of the most valuable warriors on the planet"
Kami had said this to the crowd, addressing them each seperately and finally turning to Zach.
"Zach, you dont know how saddened it made me, when you left the lookout, I thought my plan had been successful, that I had prevented this, but I failed you and I am sorry" Kami walked to the front steps of the lookout, standing atop the stairs so that he could be seen and heard by the entire group. He wanted to make sure they understood the intensity of which he was speaking.
"I am the Kami of Earth, and it has been fortold unto me that should we allow this threat to exist, the Earth will certainly perish"

Carmine watched the fight on the crystal ball intently, seeking desperately for some opening, some weakness in Suki's form or power. Instead he saw only a galactic hurricane, the child of unstoppable force and immovable object. He watched as Zach was gored, and shook his head.
"Zach, if nothing else I must commend your courage."
And then Kami spoke up, having the closest thing to a violent outburst that such a calm creature could have. He reminded each of them there of their individual strengths, and emphasized that each was not enough to stop Suki. He emphasized Suki's power, and Suki's resources. He wanted to stop conflict, and he wanted to end this threat.
"You cannot remove this alien threat without conflict, I'm afraid. Not unless we continue to pay him, and even then we'd have to hope that he doesn't just turn on us one day. This creature is undeniably evil and undeniably powerful, both individually and with his men."
Carmine looked to each of the warriors gathered. Human, Demon, Alien, Android, it didn't matter. Each one wanted Suki gone, and each one showed great potential. He knew what had drawn Kami to them.
"And while it might be true that training ourselves won't be enough, that's no reason not to train. Like you said, Suki will be training too. If we all work our hardest, we may be able to bring him down together. Suki is keeping watch only for the giants, so much so that he just might get eaten by the ants."
He thumbed his sword's bells again nervously, and stepped forward, placing his hand on Kami's shoulder.
"We're not enough right now. We might not ever be enough. But we're not the only ones Suki is oppressing. There was a very special royal figure at that banquet, if I remember correctly. A royal figure who we could potentially ally ourselves with. If Earth joins forces with the other planets Suki is terrorizing, we may have the numbers, the strength, and the firepower to bring him down. All we need is time..."

Toshio had kept his eyes mainly on Zach, which was until a rather large ship had arrived casting a giant shadow over the lookout. Toshio looked upon the sip as it drew closer and watched as gangplanks connected the ship to the lookout. He eyes continued to watch as a person stepped out onto the gangplanks and then onto the lookout itself. Toshio could sense his power level and was quite amazed. It was quite high; it was certainly the highest at the lookout no doubt. Toshio then watched another figure step off the sip. It didn’t give out a power level that only meant one thing; it was an android. Toshio then as yet another figured appeared out form the ship, this one however lightly flew off the ship choosing not to use the planks. His power level was impressive and it rivaled that of the others, especially that of Nam.
He watched as the three figures made it over to where the rest were and seemed to settle into the group. The stronger one, who seemed to be the captain of the ship by the way he dressed, was the first to speak. His first words made Toshio crack a smile. That’s one way to lighten the mood. Toshio then stood back and listened as two of newcomers spoke to the blond haired wonder. The third rather didn’t say a word and looked at Zach. His attention the turned back to Zach as he to began to talk, thanking the green man for the satchel of water. He then scowled at the captain of the ship was calling him a moron and going to fight the monster earlier than planned. He then began to relay some info about the creature known as Suki. Toshio listened intensely at the information Zach gave them.
As Zach was finishing up some of the details of the fight, it seemed to come out of nowhere but Toshio knew this boy from somewhere. It was like an itch that wouldn’t go away as he tried to remember when he had seen him. Finally it came to him, he had been at his school. He wasn’t a student that was for sure, as Toshio would have recognized him better. No, he was an assistant of his. He was the one who needed a place to stay for a while and offered to help with some of the chores around the school for a place to stay. As Zach finished up with the details, the Namekian was the first among them to speak. He first apologized that this had to happen to him, but he had told him once that the monster was capable of this. Toshio listened as the green man didn’t add insult to injury and asked someone named Nehan to fetch some food. Toshio’s eyes moved over to look at who Nehan was; it was one of the newcomers.
As Nehan left, the Namekian stood up and motioned for something. Soon a crystal ball appeared out of the doorway of the lookout. The green man then told them to draw their attention to the crystal ball. As the green man put his hands on the ball, he told Zach that if it was too difficult to watch he could turn away. Placing two fingers on Zach while still keeping a hand on the crystal ball an image soon appeared. It was Zach. However Zach was uninjured and he was facing a ship, and in the doorway of that ship was what he thought was the monster that had done all of this. Suki. The image was the fierce battle that took place between the two. Toshio drew his head nearer as the events in the crystal ball began to unfold.
After the battle, Toshio thoughts ran wild. The monster that had attacked Zach was ruthless. He was surprised that Zach had managed to live through it at all. The image faded as the cloak figures he had followed here, started to pick up the nearly dead Zach. Toshio started to gather the data in his head. Okay, it appeared that they knew about Suki long before he arrived and they had set up a fund to pay off the mad creature. Only Poor Zach had foolishly rushed into battle without knowing that and nearly gotten himself killed. The boy did put up quite the fight though. It certainly shows that Earth has some promising fighters.
Toshio then listened as the boy known as Nam was the first to speak after the fierce battle they had all just witnessed. The boy mentioned, or rather asked if the monster would be back. Toshio knew the answer to this was an uneasy yes. He then went on to mention that they should be training instead of lecturing Zach for if it wasn’t for him. The earth could have possibly been in further danger. Nehan soon followed and agreed with Nam, Toshio then noticed the boy mention the Namekian as ‘Kami’ and stated that his strength increase dramatically while training under him. Toshio smiled as he mentioned teamwork would have to be utilized to stop Suki. Toshio agreed 100% with that. He then watched as the boy handed the food to Zach.
What happened next quite surprised Toshio, it was the Kami yelling out at both Nam and Kris. He told them he appreciated their willingness to fight, but said they had learned nothing as he showed them through the crystal ball just an image of Touketsuki. Toshio listened as Kami went on saying that training would only do so much and mentioned that the monster would be working hard as well. He went on to mention that Suki had men, warriors like them that would also pose a threat. He then mentioned that Kami had called them all there for a reason. They were some of the best fighters that Earth had to offer. Toshio then watched as the Kami went to speak to each one of them separately. Toshio listened on as he started to speak to each of them, when Kami got to him he looked into his eyes as he spoke.
"Toshio, you are the master of one of the most prestigious schools in all of the world, losing you would mean losing the youth of the future, and you to have just the sort of valiant honor to jump in and fight when you know it to be a lost cause"
Toshio kept silent and simply nodded his head, He then watched as Kami moved onto the next person before finally stopping after talking to Zach. Toshio then watched as the Kami walked to the front steps of the lookout and then stood atop of them. He then turned toward the entire group and spoke once more.
"I am the Kami of Earth, and it has been foretold unto me that should we allow this threat to exist, the Earth will certainly perish"
Toshio wasn’t really shocked at this, he knew after watching the battle on the crystal ball that Suki was a huge threat. Toshio knew that the monster had to be stopped. Toshio then listened as the android spoke up. He mentioned that Conflict with the crazed monster was unavoidable. Toshio nodded in agreement. It was sad but true. The monster had to be killed, not paid. The android went on to mention gathering an alliance. He mentioned one in particular that had occurred at a banquet. Toshio had caught wind of a tournament that was held some time ago. Toshio would have attended had it not been for his school. He was too busy to attend. He assumed that the banquet was most likely held to honor the winner of the tournament.
The royal figure the android mentioned Toshio did not know, however as the android said in conclusion they had the numbers, they had the strength, and they had the firepower. All they needed was time. Toshio feared that as they gathered, time was steadily slipping away. They could not avoid to lose much time, if any at all.

Royd was silent through much of the presentation and the exchanges following it. He himself was not a man of action and couldn’t fathom why or how anyone to mistake him otherwise. Still, even this Kami figure seemed to think that he posed a potential threat to the alien they’d just witnessed destroying the boy. He’d even speculated that his ship might have been in danger had be been aboard when the tyrant arrived. The latter was unlikely to be true and only intended as a motivator to try and persuade him to join their cause, and from what he had seen the cause had merit, just not enough for him to risk his life. The attempted deception, or perhaps it was simply an assumption, wouldn’t score negatively against the green man though as Royd understood how desperate he likely was for help.
There was a line that would not be crossed though, Royd would not officially join any resistance group as it would make him a target and an easy to kill one at that. He also would not leave his ship to live on the planet, he couldn’t. Already he could feel his limited strength starting to waver even though he’d only been on the surface for a couple of hours and had been sitting for much of that time. No, his physical limitations demanded that he remain aboard his ship else he’d risk serious injury, if not from the people around him then from the effects the intense gravity was having on his body. That wasn’t to say he couldn’t visit, or when the time came, offer his services, it simply meant that he could not stay.
One option that he was reluctant to explore was taking the Nightflyer down to Earth’s surface and landing it near the base of this tower. While the hulking ship was capable of landing it had not done so in nearly thirty years, back in the time when Adara commanded her. Now in it’s deteriorating condition it was likely to cause hull ruptures and if the worst should happen, a breach of the fuel hold. Not to mention the fact that Royd could see no reason to bring his ship down, other then to pick up the Anti-gravitational disk, which had by now depleted so much of it’s charge as to not be able to return to the great ship.
“Hmmm…” Royd hummed aloud, a thought occurring to him. If this Kami was so instant on him staying and the other impressive looking vessel which had arrived contained an electrical power supply, he might be able to stay after all. Even if the Nightflyer could land without crippling herself, her gravity plating couldn’t operate at more then one sixteenth Earth normal for any length of time and certainly not in reverse mode. It would be pointless for Royd to bring the ship down until she was I better condition. The Anti-gravitational disk however was a different story all together. While he had been in flight aboard the circular platform, Royd had been under a gravitational pull he was comfortable with and that gave him an idea.
“I do not wish to speak out of turn.” the telepath in the black space suit started. “But if you do wish me to remain here and provide my services, whether they be from my ship or my own, I will need to make a request. My craft there ha depleted it’s energy supply in bringing me here. I would need an alternate source to recharge it. I can then use the vehicle’s gravity lenses to maintain a comfortable environment for myself. If I am that desperately needed of course.” Royd concluded madding sure to lave an opening for him to wriggle out of the obligation should no source of power be available. While verbal manipulation wasn’t his strongest suit, he knew his way round words and even more so with thoughts, as any telepath should and if he could be described in anyway, is was as a politician.

After Zach spoke up in his own defense Ryota had to admit he couldn't exactly blame Zach for doing what he'd done, sure it wasn't particularly smart to go fight the tyrant alone but still he'd done what he'd felt he needed to do and Ryota was rather certain that placed in a similar situation he'd likely do the same. Heck he'd probably do the same simply to keep Carmine and Zach from having to fight Suki solo if he got the chance. And so Ryota decided not to further embarass Zach by bothering him about having fougth Suki alone any further, especially now that Ryota realized just how many others there were around. He'd allowed himself to get distracted and hadn't even seen that there was a small crowd around them.
One of the people that stood out in particular was the green man, he was most definitely an alien of some sort as Ryota was rather certain humans didn't come in green with antennae however Ryota had not a clue as to exactly what the man was. As the man spoke and Ryota watched him he began to get an... 'odd' feeling from the man, akin similarly to the feeling Suki or any particularly powerful Makaioshin gave off but... different almost completely the opposite. Then the man displayed Zach's battle with Touketsuki and Ryota found himself too distracted by it to think further on the feeling.
The battle was incredibly brutal however Ryota had to admit Zach had fought well, as far as he could tell it seemed like the young man had given Suki everything he had and maybe... just maybe if it had not been for the level of power behind Touketsuki's transformation Zach might have been able to do it. The other important thing Ryota made sure to take note of was Touketsuki's transformation and more specifically the time it took. Sure Touketsuki seemed to have it down pretty well and could change relatively quickly... but it still took time, more time than it took to activate the Aura.. if need be that could most definitely be something to exploit.
Ryota raised an eyebrow as Kami addressed everyone, the more the man spoke the clearer it became until finally the man confirmed it. He was the "Kami" the Guadrian of Earth. It explained why the man had so much information on the humans present and Carmine, if memory served Guardians had the ability to effectively 'know' every resident of there protected planet. It also explained why the man's comment on Ryota had lacked the 'personal' touch that the others had received. He likely lacked any relevant knowledge.
"I don't intend for there to be as much of a gap between myself and Touketsuki as there currently is, the Tournament has cost me a fair amount of training time. And from what I've seen the only way to ensure that Touketsuki will leave Earth alone without bending to his will is to either A) Have a group of warriors willing to protect the planet that are at least together comparable to Touketsuki, or B) Have a single warrior strong enough to overpower him. A combination of the two would be effective as well I suppose though not necessary."
"Now, I'm fine for helping out with protecting Earth. I like this place and it's most definitely caught my interest. As well It's home to two good friends of mine who would likely not be too keen to forgive me if I stood by and allowed it to be controlled by Touketsuki. So I'll do what I can to keep him out of Earth's business." Ryota said, glancing at Carmine and Zach when he mentioned his 'friends'.
Ryota turned to look at the man that Kami had said was called 'Royd' the man definitely didn't look like much of a warrior though all the same when Kami mentioned the man's 'mental abilities' he brought up the best mental defenses he could as a sort of 'just in case' as he didn't want his thoughts being invaded, especially considering Ryota's thoughts were currently lingering on the how he too would eventually be seeking control of the Earth much like how Suki was though Ryota intended to go about it FAR differently, the idea of using planets as currency was... odd to say the least. No he preferred the idea of 'nurturing' the warriors of the population of the planet, to make them better than they were.
"I might be able to help with that Royd, or more specifically perhaps some of my crew could help. I'm not entirely sure how Mortal ships run as I'm only familiar with ships of the Demon Realm which feature either entirely magic based propulsion or hybrid technology such as with my ship. Perhaps a few modifications could be made to give it an 'upgrade' of sorts. Though in return I think it might be fair to perhaps have a bit of a 'technology trade' as your ship may possess something that the Galleon lacks." Ryota said, more than likely Keyra could whip up some sort of hybrid power source for this man, especially if Carmine aided her and if it meant perhaps giving the Galleon a bit of an upgrade then it would definitely be worth it.

Zach just wanted to lay back and rest but the green man wasn’t satisfied with his description of the fight. In spite of his stated intention, insulting him was exactly what he did, accusing him of being stupid and reckless even if not in those words. Zach had half a mind to punch the guy in the face but knew better not to, he had after all saved his life. Kami then sent the boy in the ridiculously wide shoulder pads off to fetch some bread while he retrieved some kind of floating acrylic ball in a manner that reminded him eerily of Suki’s stone throwing. The green man then laid a hand on his forehead, issued him a hollow platitude and then forced Zach to live through the experience yet again.
If he wasn’t near to crying before he was now as ever vivid image and sound brought the sensations of the fight back clear as crystal. When the boy in the shoulder pads handing him a segment of the loaf he’d brought back, eating was the last thing on Zach’s mind. He did everything in his power to try and stay in control but his eyes still watered as the cold realization churned about in his brain. He should be dead right now. The only reason he was alive was because of the kindness of the green man kneeling beside him. It had been so long since he had a fatherly figure that the blonde boy didn’t know what to do. Part of him just wanted to curl up and sob for what had happened to him and another part was already starting to fan the familiar flames of anger and revenge. Gratitude was also present and the only reason Zach hadn’t thanked the Kami just yet was both lack of energy and the fact that Nam and the boy in shoulder pads were now strongly abdicating preparing to do battle with the monster. During which the young man he recalled from the banquet complimented him on his courage. Was it courage, or just blind pig headedness? Either way he returned Carmine a weak smile and finally laid back.
Kami silenced them and spoke to each in turn, listing their strengths. When the green man finally got to him, Zach almost cringed. What horrible failing would he be faulted with this time? Ryota had called him a moron, the green man implied it and now he was saying that he’d failed Zach. ‘Wait a moment, he failed? I was the one who almost got killed.’ It took a few moments for the wheels in Zach’s head to click to the right position, but then it dawned on him. Right when Tenshu got up and informed them all of who he was, Zach realized why the green alien felt so much like his father. They were both caring for their children, only in this case, this Kami considered everyone his child.
Zach, being the one who’d supplied them with the first hand knowledge of just how strong their enemy is, felt it was his duty to set an example. He wasn’t as stupid as he looked or sometimes acted and knew when he needed help, this was that time, they all needed help, but no from outside. Earth had all power it needed to defend it’s self, it just needed to be organized, as was starting to happen here, and then improved upon with hard work. Kami had started the ball rolling and Ryota had sort of kept it moving, but so far no one had said what needed to be said. They needed one leader, one person to coordinate the rest. One with keen observational skills, a wise, learned mind and most of all, someone with an unflinching devotion to the most precious of planets, Earth.
Zach sat back up with a great deal of difficulty and propped himself up on his left elbow while motioning to Nam with his right, still holding the bread. “Nam… help me up…” he asked, already trying to tuck his legs in to get up on his own but obviously in too much pain to do more then drag them back and forth on the tile floor.

When the man in the white cape began talking, in the beginning Nam was confused, Kami? Doesn’t that mean God? he looked at the green man with a puzzled expression. But… he’s a Namekian, right? Although Nam thought the man was a Namek, it was never actually proved. In the end, Nam thought it was more likely that he was literally called ‘Kami’ by his parents. He wrenched the thought away and smiled as the one known as Nehan backed up him. Nam could feel the fire and his confidence was rolling, but then the green man shut both of them down. Nam could only cringe under the Kami’s loud, but somehow passionate voice –still alarming and unexpected, but passionate.
The alleged Namek and now Kami, began to explain why training wouldn’t do any good. But Nam refused to give him reason and as the green man began to speak, Nam began to think and gather his thoughts; still listening to Kami in the background. Yes, avoiding confrontation is usually the best way to go, but this… THING, won’t listen to reason… And he just said it himself, we’ll train, but so will Touketsuki. If we DON’T train, then he’ll just overwhelm us and the chances of winning will be narrower than they already are… Nam flinched as the green man called him by his name, How…? it was beyond him how the alien was aware of his name.
The words of the Kami, if anything, made Nam blush from embarrassment. There was too much praising and too much truth in his words. He almost forgot about the fact that Kami had been ‘watching him’. Nam looked deep into himself, Am I really lacking confidence? Is it that obvious? he began to think back to all those moments where he’s battled: the saiyan that killed his mother, the pink demon Meishi, the shirtless wonder Zach –it was all true. Nam never backed down –but it was also true that every time he faced a challenge; he doubted his abilities. Nam remained quiet, unable to think up a response to the green man.
The half saiyan than raise his head in a sudden motion, almost shocked as Carmine and Ryota practically took the words right out of him; this put Nam right back in place. While everything Kami had said was true, it was also true that there was no other solution. The only peaceful solution is paying the tribute –and that’s assuming he won’t grow bored and attack everyone. Nam now knew of everyone’s name because the alleged Namek had referred to all of them by name.
Nam’s train of thought was disrupted once again as he detected the movement of something yellow in the corner of his eye. He turned to find the blonde struggling to stand on his feet, propping himself with his left elbow. The half-saiyan allowed a soft smile as Zach asked him to help him up. The tanned saiyan walked towards the Zach, who with being shirtless and all appeared as if he were trying to breakdance on the floor.
Nam grabbed onto the wrist of his extended right hand, since it was holding a piece of bread as he crouched facing the blonde and supported himself on his right knee. He then braced his right arm under the arm he was supporting his body with and rose up pushing with his left leg and with the help of Zach. When they rose up Nam let go carefully, making sure he doesn’t lose balance and fall. “Can you… walk?” his arms weren’t touching Zach, but they were ready to catch him if he were about to fall. Nam thought he might be overestimating how hurt Zach was at the moment; after-all, Kami healed him, right?

Zach kept his arm out until Nam grabbed a hold of it and helped him stand. The effort was intense and Zach grimaced, breathing heavily through his teeth the whole way up. His innards had been repaired sufficiently to drag him away from the jaws of death, but they were still tender and every movement hurt. Still, just making the effort to stand while in that much pain should have plainly indicated to everyone present that Zach felt what he had to say was important enough to withstand the discomfort.
Within a few moments he was up, thanks mostly to Nam’s support and standing, all be it one wobbly legs and his left arm wrapping around his midsection. The twisting and strain needed to get up into the standing position made Zach want to throw up, but seeing as there wasn’t anything in his stomach, that wouldn’t happen, at least he hoped it wouldn’t.
“I know I’m the last person you’d expect to be saying we should think before acting.” Zach started, looking to Ryota and then turning his head toward Tenshu. “But I saw that monster. I know how ruthless he is. He will soon tire of the appeasements you gave him. Someone that powerful and that tyrannical only understands one thing, action.”
He paused again and looked at everyone in turn. “Now before you say I already gave him action and he wiped the floor with me, let me continue. He did, but that was because I was there alone. Now I’m not going to cast blame or anything like that, I was simply alone. But together, we might have a chance. Yes we need to train and improve. But we also need to stick together so that if something comes our way we can all tackle it. And most of all we need a leader, someone to coordinate us, help us improve where we need it the most and to help us work together.”
Zach paused again as the strain of standing up and speaking was showing plainly on his face. “Captain, I know you’re a leader of men, or what ever your friends on the boat are. You know how to organize and command.” He turned to Kami and continued. “Kami, you’re probably the most observant man I’ve ever met and the first real father figure I’ve head since my family were killed. Now I don’t know… I can’t make the decision on my own, but one of you has to guide us. Set a direction and I’ll follow it, and I hope the rest of you will follow with me…”
“Nam…” Zach concluded in an almost comical fashion. “Help me sit back down…”

Post by Toshio Katsuo on Feb 2, 2012 13:30:09 GMT -5
Toshio watched and listened as the guy in the space suit spoke up about his intention to stay. The half Saiyan listened as he said that he needed energy from his ship to survive and stay on this planet. Toshio noticed that the man was a little weakened, however he was just finding out that it was due to his inability to stay on this planet. After the space man had spoken, the captain of the gigantic ship spoke up. He listened on as the captain went on to speak of the power level gap between him and Suki, it was mainly in part due to the tournament which took a lot of his training time. He then mentioned that there were two ways for which the monster could be stopped. One, have a group of warriors such as themselves to stop the monster or two have one extremely powerful being attempt to stop Suki by themselves.
Toshio listened as the Captained explained that a combination would be good but not necessary. Toshio disagreed with this as teamwork was valuable it just about all aspects of life. He went on to say that he would lend his support to Kami and the Earth. The captain then turned to address something to the spaceman, however Toshio didn’t listen in on that as he saw Zach sit back up and motioned for Nam to help him. He did and with incredible difficulty, Zach had managed to stand up. Toshio then watched as he spoke out loud. Zach mentioned that he was the only one who had saw the monster face to face in speech and in battle. Zach mentioned that the only reason he had gotten beat up so bad was because he was alone. And if they were together then they had a chance to win.
He then listened as Zach spoke up about having a leader and mentioned two candidates that he seemed worthy of that title. Toshio’s mind then went back to a book he had remembered read in his school’s library. It had mentioned something about Ancient warriors who had to fight all kinds of monsters. The book had little information on them but it did mention that they had fought together. There was no true Leader, but each one had the qualities that would make up a true leader. Much like what Kami had said to each of them earlier, each one had something that set them apart from the next. Toshio felt this was the best time to speak up for the first time. He stepped forward as to where he could be seen by all of the men around him and spoke.
”Excuse me, but if I may be so kind as to speak. Zach, your talk about teamwork and sticking together is the key thing. As you talked I was reminded of a book I once read in my school’s library. It spoke of Ancient warriors that all banded together to stop all kinds of monstrosities. They had no leader because each one of the warriors provided something that should be in a true leader. Each one had one aspect they when combined with the others provided the greatest leader one could think of. Kami spoke to each of us and imbedded that we too had different aspects that made us great. Like the Ancient warriors, we too have qualities that when combined together can trump anything. Having a leader would be great especially with the two great candidates that Zach mentioned. However, I believe it’s best if we become like the warriors I spoke of. Have no true leader but have a portion of a true leader in each of us. If we stuck together then Suki will be vanquished of that I’m assure of. However, it all begins and ends with teamwork.”
Once he finished he stepped back into his previous spot and waited for someone to speak.

Nam began to contemplate over Zach’s words as he carefully helped him to back down on the floor in a similar manner as he helped him get up. Nam didn’t know much about anything when it came to ‘Kami’ and this ‘Captian Ryota’ but Zach seemed to trust them very much. Soon after Nam finished sitting his friend back on the tiled floor, the man in the green tunic stepped up for the first time. Kami called him Toshio.
Nam remained standing next to the shirtless wonder, which was now resting on the floor. Toshio’s suggestion was a little different from Zach’s, based on a story of a group of people that lived long before them, whom didn’t really have some kind of leader figure. Each of them had different qualities and worked together as one, complementing each other and covering their weaknesses with another’s strengths. Toshio receded as soon as he said what he had to say. Nam didn’t know how to respond, and he wondered if anyone else did. Both ideas were good, but which fit the situation?
Nam decided to stay quiet on this one and allow everyone to speak their minds before he tried his part. –But if he had to choose a leader, it would probably be Kami. Nam knew nothing about both candidates, but at least he’s seen the green man in more than one occasion. Plus, he saved the blonde’s life and knew Nam’s name before they even introduced each other. The alleged Namekian also took the initiative and gathered everyone to the Lookout, and if that’s not enough –the energy he emitted was another persuasive force; it felt so passive and pure. Kris was also quite fond on the man. So with all of these conclusions, Nam decided that if this turned into a vote, he’d choose the green man.

Kami was not surprised by the optimism in the group, however he knew better. He knew that they could train non stop every day until his next arrival, but they would still be at a disadvantage. Not only that, but if Suki feels even slightly threatened, all bets would be off, and the creature would likely take out the planet if its inhabitants became to strong. Kami knew this better than anyone as his heart was hurting terribly. Something bad was happening even now, not to earth, but rather to Namek. He could feel it in his soul.
"Your Optimism is refreshing but..."
Kami turned around, facing a small alter he had placed in the Doorway, he was now facing away from the entire group, Kami had to prepare them, it was time to reveal his intentions here today.
7 stones, perfectly round and white lay on the later, and in the center was a jar, it was difficult to make out what was inside the jar due to the bright light emitting from it.
Kami picked up the small jar, causing the stones to magically begin to float, slowly surrounding the Kami, moving in a circular motion around his lower waist. Kami then turned to face the group once more holding the jar in one hand.
"..Suki will not simply bend to us, we are outclassed by to much, we need an advantage, and that is why I have brought you all here, I wish to show you all the extent of my power"
Kami opened the small jar, twisting its lid and pulling off the tab. This released a massive energy, one that was greater even than the Kami's current energy. It was greater even than Touketsuki's energy. However there before them was not an all powerful being, but what appeared to be a small floating lizard.
But the Kami would fix that, hovering both of his hands over the creature, his hands began to glow, and Kami began to speak in his ancient tongue.
"Pion du Reschtka. Ziem du Triumpte gor Du Vele Skepte fum torre"
"Now Rise almighty Hitoshin!"
The small creature began to glow, and the sky suddenly turned black. Electricity filled the air as the Dragon creature made a shrill scream, however as it grew that scream became more of a roar. The stones began to Circle quickly around Kami before splitting off and doing the same to the Dragon, which was now towering High above the lookout, its eyes growing a deep red, and its midsection whipping about. This was the Earths Guardian Dragon.
Kami....Why....Have...You...Summoned....Me...
. Kami could only imagine how his crowd must feel, seeing such a colossal creature before them.
