They stood around, waiting for others to arrive. Those gathered seemed tense, whether from the waiting or from the lurking threat, Drexx couldn't say. He looked over at the human he had brought, and not for the first time he doubted rousing the human from his quiet meditation in the plains. He was stronger than the average Namekian, there was no doubt of that, but so was whatever this threat was. The android’s jaw clenched and he worked it back in forth in thought.
“Ark.” He said walking over to where the human was standing. He placed his hand on the human's shoulder.
“I think you and I should spar. We've been waiting for a while and there’s no saying we won’t be waiting a little while longer. I want to make sure you’re up to fighting capability. No offence meant.” The android turned and walked twenty paces away and turned to face the human. Those gathered gave the android a wide berth as he motioned for them to move away. They fell into a circle around the two fighters.
“I want you to give me everything you've got. We’ll start off with no ki, just pure physical combat. If that’s fine with you.” Drexx fell into a fighting stance and motioned for Ark to come at him. He would test the human, and if he found him lacking, he would recommend he stay behind. He didn't want a needless death on his hands.

Ever patient Ark had no problem waiting for others, his arms casually crossed over his chest. Watching the immediate area there were a number of Namekians moving about, but the one named Orenji seemed to be waiting for a specific one. Hearing his name called the human would turn to see Drexx making his way over towards him, and appraising spark in the androids ever vigilant eyes. When the mechanical man would reach to place a hand on his shoulder he wouldn't flinch or shy away, knowing he had nothing to fear from this one. His words however, would be a bit surprising.
Ark would avoid a fight if he could, but a competative sparring match was something that was quite different. It seemed they might be waiting awhile anyway so why not test himself against the android, he couldn't get a energy signature off him anyway so it would be a good chance to get a read on him.
"Alright, and no ki based attacks, sounds good to me." Ki based attacks were not something the human specialized in anyway.
Letting Drexx move away from him, those around them pushing back at the androids request. Ark himself would settle into a slight crouch with his hands up in front of him. By nature and design the human was a defensive fighter, always prefering his opponent come at him first. Comfortable in his position he would offer a small smile to the one across from him.
"Ready when you are."

Drexx was overjoyed when Ark agreed to spar with him, there were few ways in the androids mind that two could get acquainted better than a good sparring match. He attributed he and Orenji's spars to a very strong reason they were so close, perhaps it would be the same with the human. However the android raised an eyebrow when the human appeared to want him to go first.
"Let the fun begin!" Drexx said with a smile.
He would make the first move, dashing at the human rapidly his feet barely touching the ground and aiming a punch at his face, though more than a little off target, offering the human ample room to move and block. The android knew how strong they both were, and in that he had a more than unfair advantage. Ark wasn't even half his power, even with his weighted clothing, though the human had no way of knowing this.
After the lopsided punch the androids right leg would sweep around and attempt to take the human off his feet, the punch having been a mere distraction. He was testing the human's reflexes and in-fight perception. If the leg sweep failed, Drexx would take whatever the human could hit him with, curious to see his choice of attack.

Set in his stance the Ark would wait for Drexx to make his move. Throughout his relatively short life the human had found he did best in a match when letting his opponent make the first move whenever possible. By letting the other fighter come at him he was able to get an estimate of their speed, a small look into their overall fighting style. One could get a lot from watching the actions of another and the way someone initiated a match did indeed give you a glimpse into their style. Originally Ark had thought the calm nature of the android would mean he was a defensive fighter, rather similar to himself, but the way he sprinted right towards the human would change that opinion.
Shifting his weight up onto his back leg Ark would be ready for the shot aimed at his face. Tilting his head to the side the androids fist would sail right past his head, a sound of the air being forced aside by Drexx’s fist audible due to the proximity to Ark’s ear. His arms had shifted up as Drexx closed in, his hands grabbing onto either side of his opponents forearm. Gripping tightly he was not completely surprised when a leg would come in towards his. He might have been quick enough to jump over the second attack, but he wouldn’t even attempt it, letting the leg take both of his out from underneath him.
Starting to drop towards his back Ark’s grip would tighten on Drexx’s arm starting to yank down and back as he falls. In all honesty he wasn’t even sure if he could move the android, having no idea how much he even weighed. Twisting as he falls his goal was to yank Drexx up and over him, tossing him back behind his own body as he fell to the ground. If successful the counter would send his opponent tumbling across the ground in the opposite direction he had just come from. Once Ark had hit the ground he would bring his legs up and kick, flipping himself right back up to his feet before turning to face the other fighter once again. Of course all of this would only be possible if the human could pull Drexx from his feet, having no real idea what he was truly up against.

Ark expertly dodged the punch, as the android assumed he would, and let the android's leg sweep his legs out from under him. The human wrapped both his hands around the android's arm and attempted to take him down with him. He underestimated both the Android's weight, and his physical strength.
Appearing as a six foot tall Saiyan, Drexx would be nothing to sneeze at physically even if he were flesh and bone, but though he had Saiyan flesh, his bones were metal, his muscles mechanic. He was deceptively heavy, and more powerful than Ark could possibly know, his power level hidden.
Drexx took the advantage, rolling through and spinning his own heavier body taking the momentum away from the human. He quickly gripped his own hand firmly around the human's on his forearm before he had a chance to let go. He would quickly return to his feet, forcing Ark to do the same. From there he would begin to spin. He would start off slow, spinning the human slightly off his feet, then faster, and faster, becoming a sickening version of a game Drexx had seen parents play with their children.
When he had felt the human had been sufficiently nauseated from the spinning Drexx would release his grip, sending the human flying unless he somehow maintained the grip on the androids arm.

Everything was going to plan, that was until Drexx’s grip tightened on his arm and the android did not go tumbling away as the human had expected. Instead he would get right back to his feet, starting to spin with Ark’s arm still tightly in his grip. Looking down he could see the androids steps becoming quicker, moving them faster and faster in the tight spin. Soon he wouldn’t be able to focus on the his opponents feet or the ground for that matter, all of it turning into one messy blur of colors. His stomach was in worse shape than his vision, not sure how much longer he could hold down the small lunch he had if this kept up. Thankfully the android would soon let him go, and he was far to dizzy to maintain his own grip on the man, the momentum sending him tumbling through the air.
Hitting the ground with a painful thud Ark would roll across the grass some before coming to a rest on his back. Normally he enjoyed lying on his back looking up at the beautiful sky of Namek, but now it was just a vortex of blue. As he had done before Ark would lift his legs up ready to flip to his feet, but that would be as far as he would get, his legs listing over to the side before they drop back to the ground. Groaning he would slowly try to roll over onto his stomach now, trying to get his arms and legs under him. Shakily shoving up to all fours he would try and focus, squeezing his eyes shut before attempting to get back to his feet.
After a couple moments more Ark would shove up to his feet, staggering back and forth, his equilibrium still not back to normal. He had not yielded to Drexx by any means so he wasn’t sure if the android was already coming at him. Turning on his feet he would bring his arms up, unsteady, but trying his best to be ready in case Drexx was indeed pressing the advantage he had gained by so clearly disorientating his opponent. “Is that….how you…attack all your…opponents, spinning them until they vomit?”
It was obvious Drexx was going a bit easy on him, for he could have done far worse than simply let him go flying through the air. At least Ark had learned one thing from the whole experience, Drexx was indeed much heavier they he appeared to be. Still the human would not back down from the match even thought it seemed his opponent was heavier, faster, and strong then he was. After all, it felt good to be testing himself against such a powerful opponent.

Drexx smiled as the human regained his footing after lying for several moments on the ground, the android could have pressed his advantage, but he felt no need. It was a spar after all, not a fight to the death. The human's question made the android let out a chuckle.
"Part of my android nature, adaptation to my opponents styles and understanding their physiology. It was effective, if perhaps a bit crude. In a fight you have to be prepared for anything, and we have no clue what these invaders are capable of."
The android could tell the human's vision was still blurry. He would use that to his advantage, though not in such a way that would end the spar. Drexx ran at Ark in a serpentine pattern using bukujutsu to slightly accelerate the android's already quick speed, with his vision blurred the human would see multiple of the android coming at him, and from which direction would be hard to discern in his condition.
He would throw a barrage of punches and kicks, letting most sail harmlessly by the human Drexx's android brain calculating the various possible tiny movements of the human's almost drunken-like state. They were again a distraction, and with a sudden halt of all movement Drexx would pull both hands back and attempt to slam both palms into the human with force, his right hand facing upward, his left hand downwards touching at the wrist. He was curious to see how the human would deal with this tactic, feint, and then force.

“Well at least when we finally catch up with these invades you can go at them like a washing machine.” The smirk on his face would give away that he was of course just messing with the android, glad his opponent was such a light spirited individual. Rolling his shoulders he would continue to try and regain his focus as Drexx once again comes for him. The back and forth movements would be incredibly hard to follow since each time his eyes darted to one side the android was already starting to dash back the other way.
Again Drexx would come at him with a flurry of blows, but they were mostly going wide, or easy enough for the human to deflect. The android was of course going easy on him still, but this time Ark was ready for his real attack when it would come. When there was a sudden halt in his movement Ark would bring his arms up in front of his chest, as if he was getting ready to block the blow. He would attempt to block the blow, but he hoped that it would never actually land. Even as he lifts his hands up the human would drive his right leg up, trying to intercept his attacker’s arms at the forearm with his own knee to knock them apart and out wide.
The android was stronger than him, but this maneuver was only trying to redirect the momentum of his arms and deflect the blow. Hoping to disrupt the attack with his leg Ark would then turn the counter into an attack itself. With his leg already lifted up to knock Drexx’s arms away he would then snap his foot up, looking to catch his opponent up under the chin. Based on how heavy the android had felt before the human had no hopes that it would send the android up into the air or flying away from him, but hopefully it would catch him off guard enough so that Ark could attempt an offensive attack of his own.

Drexx had not anticipated the deflection of momentum, and so his attack went wide. Ark's kick caught Drexx on the chin and tilted his head up till he was looking at the sky. Clearly Ark was a skilled fighter, taught by some master-of-martial-arts for years, his every response to Drexx's attacks told him that. Drexx had two things the human didn't have on his side however, and that was the internet and an eidetic memory.
Drexx himself had been trained by several masters of martial arts, his own creator Benjin being a renowned martial-artist, the sauced Sayian teaching him sword-play, the bio-android Jorlaxl teaching him crane-style kung-fu. However Drexx was an android, a being of infinite curiosity and was constantly using the Earth's internet to study every martial art that exsisted. He had yet to master any, but was adept it all, the perks of being an android.
The android's arm would snap up as the kick connected on his chin, his own leg catching the human's behind the joint of his other leg's knee and attempting to force him quickly onto his back, from there the android would strike downwards, attempting a vicious blow to the midsection of the human, not enough to seriously hurt him but certainly enough to knock the wind out of his opponent.

Unknown to Drexx his assessment of Ark was incredibly accurate. The human was far from a Master himself, but he had spent five full years under the tutelage of one. Master Diki had no doubt been a true master of multiple fighting styles and although he had not chosen any specific one to teach Ark he had blended them together into something new. The human had never met an android before in his life and would have no idea how much Drexx could absorb in terms of knowledge, but it was evident that he was no novice to combat.
Even with his foot connecting with the androids chin Ark knew it was no reason to celebrate, the blow had only managed to snap his opponents head up some. If Drexx had truly felt the blow he gave no indication, his movements not seeming hindered by the fact he wasn’t looking directly at the human. With only one foot on the ground he would be an easy target for the leg sweep, landing roughly on his back on the grass. Seeing the blow coming for his abdomen his arms would try to get in front of the incoming fist to at least the slow the strike, but he simply wasn’t fast enough. Feeling and hearing the air forced from his lungs this would not have been a good position to be in against a true foe.
Even sucking wind the human would not just lie there, his right arm reaching in to try and grab Drexx’s by the wrist. It was an attempt to hold him in place while Ark’s left hand would snap up, trying to connect across the androids jaw. Without a full supply of oxygen fueling his muscles his actions were slower than normal and even if the blow connected it wouldn’t have much force behind it, but still Ark was a completive man, doing his best to give Drexx some sort of challenge.

Drexx felt the air blow out of the human's body and for a moment he was worried, had he struck him to hard? The momentary confusion allowed the human to grab his wrist and strike him across the jaw. It wasn't a very strong blow, but the surprise of it caused Drexx to stumble over onto his backside. The android laughed despite himself. He wiped the spit off his mouth with the back of his hand and allowed Ark a moment of respite.
"I find your fighting spirit to be incredible Ark, you certainly don't give up. Even with the odds stacked against you"
The android stood and wiped the dust and dirt off his clothing and offered his hand to Ark.
"I feel that there's more to you than meets the eye. I can feel the potential in you hiding. Focus. Let it out." Drexx returned to the other side of the circle, those gathered watching the fight intently. He fell into his fighting stance once more, the spar by no means over.
"So me what you can do with ki."

Ark was indeed glad for the moment to catch his breath, rolling backwards after a couple of seconds to hop up onto his feet. So far he had been on the losing side of this little match, even if he had just knocked the android on his rear. It would seem Drexx might have underestimated the human a little, thinking him not able to move after the rough blow to his midsection. Up on his feet once more Ark would look over his opponent. Despite having been built to protect, as he had claimed during their first meeting, he seemed to enjoy a competitive match, which was something the human could appreciate. It reminded him of his younger days and some of the tournaments he had entered.
“Thank you Drexx, I am equally impressed with you, although I do feel I am a bit outmatched.”
His roll away from Drexx would not be to reject his hand up, but simply to put distance between them once more, the human far from done with the spar. Settling back into his stance as well he would smile over at the android. “Very well, but just so you know I am very limited with what I can actually do with my Ki.”
It was true, he could only use it as a barrier to protect himself and expel it through his palms to amplify the strength of his blows. The later was a technique he had not seen others use, so perhaps he would be able to surprise the android with it. Either way he would not back down from the second round of the spar, even knowing he was still outmatched. Lowered into his stance once again he would motion for Drexx to come at him.
“I am ready when you are.”

"Lucky for me, and perhaps unlucky for you, I am not limited what I can do with my energy." The android smiled as he raised both hands, palms facing the human. He would begin with a barrage of small ki blasts each no bigger than a golf ball. A show of his control over the energy, nothing enough to do damage but enough to kick the dust and dirt up around Ark and blur his vision once again.
"My teachers have all excelled at both physical and ki based combat, and i have learned much from them, as there is much I can teach you, if you would like."
Drexx used his bukujutsu and charged Ark for the third time in their spar, he launched weakened eye beams at Ark's knee and launched a punch at his jaw, a vicious combination of physical and energy attacks. The android was curious how the human would react. He had been doing a fantastic job of coping with each of Drexx's attacks, but now they had involved ki, and Ark was a self confessed novice.

Of course he would know how to use his energy well, yet another advantage the android would have over Ark. Still the human would stay in his stance, not too surprised when the barrage of blast is sent towards him. They seemed small and from what he could tell did not pack much of a punch so he would simply bring his arms up in front of him, his barrier encircling his body to absorb the shots. They had been to weak to really cause any damage, so they could only be a distraction. ON top of that the ones that had hit the ground around him kicked up an annoying amount of dust, Drexx’s silhouette soon coming at him through the dust.
Out of the dust came to beams, both slamming into his knee. Even with his barrier up it would be enough to kick his leg back, throwing him off balance as the android follows it up with a punch across his jaw. Somehow he would maintain his footing, only stumbling off to the side from the strong blow, perhaps it was due to what was left of his barrier. Ark would continue his stumble on purpose in order to put some more distance between the two of them.
Disorientated as he was he knew something had to happen offensively if he was going to make this second round count for anything. Facing Drexx the human would stagger some more, playing it up as if he was more off balance then he truly was. So far Drexx had come at him on all three occasions and he hoped that would be the case again. If the android did come at him he would wait until he got close before bursting into action. Both of his hands would lunge forward, trying to plant them into the other fighter chest, using his Force Palm technique. Drexx may have been heavier then he looked, but despite their power difference this would be enough to knock the man off his feet if it did connect.

The blows had both been successful the beams hitting Ark in the knee and smashing his fist into ark's jaw. Drexx was impressed with the way the human kept his footing, even after the two blows, even if he was stumbling to regain his footing.
The human staggered around, unable to get his feet underneath him. Drexx came at the human again, ready to launch another attack. The humans hands came forward, striking the android with a surprising amount of force. Drexx stumbled backwards and fell on his butt. He broke out laughing. He felt ashamed of the laughter but he meant nothing personal.
"I was not expecting that. Your mastery of physical ki is impressive." Drexx kip-upped and fell back into a fighting stance.
"Let's see what else you've got. And what else you can take."
Drexx's chest panel opened up and revealed his uni-beam port. He would barely put any energy into the attack, but enough to show Ark what he could do. He launched the beam at Ark, cutting it very short to avoid doing any real damage to the human fighter. The android wanted to see what that barrier of his could take.
