Ark was glad to see the android stumble back and drop down onto his backside. He had spent quite a bit of time mastering his Force Palm technique and despite their power difference it had been able to knock his opponent back. The laugh that would then come from Drexx would cause a smile to form in Ark's lips one more, his opponent still seeming to be enjoying himself even with a clearly weaker fighter up against him, perhaps he was even a little impressed. His next statement would confirm that.
"Thank you, I have spent most of my life honing my body and learning to channel my ki. See how skilled you are and the power you seem to so easily wield I appreciate the compliment."
With the android hopping right back to his feet the human was glad that this match was notover. Although he wasn't really winning the match neither did he feel like he was losing it. When it came to a spar between to calm and respectable individuals there truly wasn't a loser in Ark's mind. Back in his stance he was ready to go again when the androids chest suddenly opens up.
"You have got to be kidding me..." Was all he could get out as the beam left his opponents chest. Ark would of course raise his arms, but that would do little, his barrier all but depleted as the blast hits him. It wasn't as strong as it could have been but it was enough to level the weaker fighter, knocking him onto his back once more with a groan.

The beam did exactly what Drexx knew it would, depleting the human's barrier and knocking him onto his back with a groan. The android was glad he hadn't put too much power in it, Ark was certainly a capable fighter and Drexx could sense the potential hidden inside him. He would be an extraordinary combatant rivaled by few some day. Drexx hopped they lived through the Namek invasion to see that day. He shook the dark thoughts out of his head.
Drexx walked over and offered the human his hand.
"That's my uni-beam attack. It's one of the most powerful moves in my arsenal, with more power it could have ripped you in half, though I would never hope to do that." As usual the android perhaps said too much.
With the Human on his feet, Drexx once again backed towards the other side of the circle. A Namekian gathered yelled out "Finish it already!" Drexx shook his head. That person clearly didn't understand a spar. A spar was a ritual, a dance, a way for two fighters to get to know each other on a level that talking simply doesn't achieve. Drexx was having a good time fighting Ark, and was hoping the human was feeling the same.
"Take a second to breath. Let me know when you're ready. And don't hold anything back. There's more power in you than you realize. Focus. Let it out."

Taking the android hand he would welcome the assistance in getting back to his feet. Hearing his comment about the uni-beam and the amount of power he could have put into it Ark was glad he had not, staying in one piece was something he always strived to do.
“I am glad you are taking this spar lightly, I doubt I would be any help to you if I was lying on the ground in two pieces. Still, quite an impressive attack though, especially if you can increase its power far beyond what you just used on me.”
Dusting himself off Ark would roll his shoulders a little as Drexx moves away from him yet again. So far the human had simply been getting knocked around and only landing a couple of superficial blows of his own. The androids next comment would have him thinking. In the past, during some of his deeper mediation sessions, he had felt something deep within him, something that felt out of place, yet as natural as breathing all at the same time. He had strived to find that place and the clarity it seemed to radiate, but had never been able to completely grasp it. Feeling himself starting to get a little tired from their match, his sparring partner not showing any signs of fatigue he knew he would need to do something more if he was going to give Drexx a true challenge.
Settling back into his stance Ark would close his eyes, trying to reach within himself. Perhaps in the past he had been too focused, trying to use his mind to pull out that deepest part of himself. Letting himself relax, his breath calming to a steady rhythm the human would try and not focus, but let his mind drift in a light mediation. He had used such a technique before, although only to heighten his senses slightly, but now he was letting his mind go where it may. With his eyes still closed he would motion for Drexx to come at him, letting his senses take over completely, his mind taking a backseat to them.

"Though I am taking this fight lightly, I am also taking it seriously. You are an incredible fighter, and very well trained. Your master would be proud." When the two returned to their starting positions once again, Drexx sensed a change in the warrior. His eyes were closed but still he motioned for the android to come at him, a very bold gesture given the course of the fight so far. A smile tugged at the corner of the android's lips. Perhaps this fight was about to get a lot more interesting.
Drexx charged again, as he had many times before in their combat. Ark was clearly a defensive fighter, preferring to react rather than act. Drexx could understand the appeal, often it was better to see your opponent's hand before revealing your own, and Ark kept his cards close to his chest.
The shield and Khopesh sprung out of Drexx's arms with a whirring sound and appeared in the android's outstretched hands as he ran. This was yet another change of pace for the fight, and a very different style of martial arts. Drexx had trained under Sohko of the use of swordplay and had gotten quite good, in the android's own mind. He wondered how the human would deal with the inclusion of these new weapons and Drexx's new style. It was one thing to deflect a punch or quick, quite another to deflect a slash or thrust.
Drexx advanced and aimed a few slashes at the human, nothing lethal, and certainly not with enough force to do anything more than nick the human. It was yet another round of seeing how the human would adapt, and if the battle had proven anything so far, he would react wonderfully.

Ark could hear the android coming towards him, his quick steps seeming even louder to the humans heightened sense. As he waits the couple of seconds for Drexx to close the distance between them a memory would rise in his subconscious. It was a pleasant memory; one that he had never really relived before, but at this moment would clarify something for the human.
Ark was back in Master Diki’s dojo, his hands resting on his knees. Across from him sat Rushi looking to be an older mirror image of the fighter, both of their backs straight as they sank into their mediation. The two had spent hours mediating together, always in silence so that the two of them could both search within themselves for whatever answer they may be seeking. Eyes closed and body relaxed Ark would still raise an eyebrow when Diki speaks up.
“What do you believe the point of meditation is Ark?” There was a strange tone to the old man’s voice as he asked the question, almost as if he expected his student to answer incorrectly.
“To reach inside yourself and search for those answers that are not so easily brought to the surface. Wouldn’t you agree?” Despite what Rushi would say back to him Ark always found mediation to do exactly that, letting his mind sink into a deeper state.
The old man would chuckle some at the answer, having known that is exactly what the younger human would say, even shaking his head some. ”That is one purpose of it, but the mind is sometimes at its best when you do not seek to control it. Do you understand Ark?” He was sure that the young man wouldn’t understand what he was getting at, but that was just fine, he might in time.
”If you say so Master Diki, but I do not believe the point of mediation is to simply space out, I prefer to use it in order to focus.” The conversation would drop off there, neither one of them trying to continue it as they both sink into their respective mediations, but there would still be a smirk on the older man’s face.
Even as that memory replays itself in his head Ark would not move until Drexx was on top of him. Apparently he had weapons hidden somewhere within him, now wielding a shield and katchin. Watching Drexx pull back his blade arm to strike he would watch the strike come in, shifting to the side so that the first attack slashes down past him. The next thrust would miss as well, barely nicking Ark’s black coat as it lunges past. That small speech from so long ago finally made sense, the humans mind having come to a moment of clarity, reaching deep within his subconscious. After the first two dodges Ark’s arms would suddenly snap up as his power spikes getting close to triple what it had been seconds before. One hand would grab onto the sword arm of Drexx, the other reaching for his shield arm, stopping both of them in mid motion. Grabbing the android in a tight grip he couldn’t help but smirk at the individual that had helped him to unlock his deeper potential. Now they could truly test each other.
"Shall we begin?"

"Shall we begin?" The smirk, the tone, Drexx loved every single bit of it. Sure he was an android built to protect, but he had a fierce love of competition due to his Saiyan heart. Drexx could sense the human's power-level triple, going past even his own due to his weighted clothing. This was the Ark Drexx knew he could be, this was the power he knew he had inside him.
"Lets." The android would say with his own smirk and with that the android would flip backwards out of the grip of the human pushing the arc of his flip higher with bukujutsu and land away from him, his khopesh and shield sliding back into his arms in the same motion.
He stood across from the human, fully inspecting him in with his new power. There was so much potential in Ark, and the android was happy he could help let it out. Drexx raised his palms towards Ark and then brought them to his chest, then his side. Ki began to collect between his hands, forming a large ball with other smaller ki balls circling around it. It was Drexx's wrecking ball attack.
He launched it at the human. How would he react, especially now that he was three times more powerful, and now that Drexx wasn't holding back.

Ark would be glad to see the android flip back from him, yanking free of his grasp. As his opponents returns his blades to the compartments that housed them the human couldn’t help but hop in his feet some, feeling as if he could barely contain the power he had awakened. So far he had been knocked on his ass a couple of times, and taken a couple of blows, but now he felt brand new. Watching Drexx he couldn’t be more pleased when he agrees to start anew. Holding his ground he would observe as the android sets his arms at his side, starting to gather Ki into a ball in front of his chest, other balls of energy circling around it. Ark was again impressed by his opponent, the android seeming to have an endless list of attacks to test him with.
For a moment he would settle back into his normal stance, watching still as the blast gathers before Drexx would then release it. Normally Ark was indeed a defensive fighter, but he had just discovered a stronger power within him so why not put it to the test? When Drexx would release the blast Ark would rush towards it, dropping into a quick crouch before launching himself up and into the air, using his bukujutsu to sail right over the blast. Performing a small flip in the air to bring his legs back down under him he would land back on the ground, enjoying the new speed this higher level of performance awarded him. Finally going on the offensive he would do Drexx the favor of closing the distance between them.
Lunging in the human would swing in and down for the android jaw, expecting his opponent to shift back out of the way. If Drexx did so Ark would continue forward, stepping in and twisting to the side some so that he could bring that same arm snapping back up to try and drive his elbow up under the android’s chin. Not holding back at this new level he hoped Drexx would not either, hoping he could finally give his opponent a real challenge. After all he owed him; the android had been the one that helped him achieve this new stage in his fighting career.

The punch connected with Drexx's jaw, snapping the android's head to the side. Mere seconds later the elbow connected with his chin, flipping the android rapidly onto his stomach. Ark had grown tremendously in power his focus intense, and Drexx had yet to compensate for the increase in power. The android stuck out a hand and landed on it using his momentum to spin to the side.
Ark was much stronger than he had been, meaning the android no longer needed to hold back for fear of hurting him. In his new state the human could take much more punishment, meaning the android could deal out much more.
"Your power increase looks good on you." The android added, before shooting eye-beams at Ark's already injured from a previous eye-beam attacked knee. The rockets in Drexx's right arm appeared, and he used them to put force behind his Shoryuken upper cut attack, aiming it for Ark's jaw. If it connected it would send him flying up into the air along with doing some pretty serious damage, if it missed Drexx's other hand was already reaching for his Gun of Black Midas.

Ark could feel how solid his opponent was, his strikes feeling as if he was hitting stone with a soft fleshy wrapping over it. He would not be surprised though when the android quickly recovers, landing back on his feet before making his little comment* “I have to admit it feels good, although I doubt it feels the same to you.” Smirking he would be ready when his eyes shoots towards his already damaged leg.
With a quick hop and a twist the human would jump right over the eyes –beams, landing perfectly balance on his feet after completing the 360 degree spin. It was perfectly executed and put him perfectly in line with the androids rocket powered fist. Having gone on the offensive he didn’t have his barrier up when Drexx’s fist slams up under his chin, lifting him right up off the ground. Launched up into the air Ark would lose sight of his opponent for the time being, but he wouldn’t leave himself completely open.
Still looking up from the force of the blow Ark could taste blood in his mouth, nothing serious of course, but enough to prove that Drexx was indeed no longer holding back. In the air the human would use his bukujutsu to fly up even higher, pulling up into the air around the small clearing they had set up as their fighting circle. Pulling up to about twenty yards above the ground he would also throw up his barrier, slowly lowering he gaze to look down at the android below him, rolling his jaw some “That is more like it!”

No wasting any time, Drexx would bring the gun about in an arc and aim it at the combatant in the air. He would begin to pour his ki into it, firing off a round as soon as it was full, the strong blast rocketing out of the gun towards Ark. Drexx rather hoped the human would avoid being hit with the blast, as it might mean death for him, still he had said was no longer holding back, so hold back he wouldn't.
Drexx would stay on the ground only long enough for him to charge another blast into his gun, just in case.
"I told you I wasn't holding back any further, now that you're above my power-level in these weights I see no reason to."
The android would fly quickly towards the human fighter in the air hoping to catch the human with a colliding tackle mid-dodge. From there he would attempt a flurry of punches and kicks. The android was no longer holding back, and he was quite curious to see how the human would deal with it.

By the time he was facing Drexx once more Ark would see the blast coming from the strange gun the android now held. There was power behind this attack, he could tell that and it was different from all the other attacks that his opponent had unleashed on him so far. With a smirk the human would roll to the side in the air, the blast sailing past him and continuing on its way up towards the atmosphere of Namek.
In the year he had spent on this world Ark had spent most of his time in solitude, enjoying the peace and quiet the accompanied such an existence, but that meant he had also not sparred against anyone in that time. His match so far with Drexx was quickly reminding him how much he enjoyed such competitive spars, perhaps it was a good thing he had met him. Just as he would finish his dodge his opponent was on top of him, slamming into him in mid-air. It was aimed to be a tackle and Ark would tumble through the air with him, but instead of letting the android get in any more attacks at such a short range he would grab for him.
The human’s arms reach forward, trying to wrap around the other fighter to pull him in close against him, also hoping to trap his gun wielding arm at his side. Once Ark had a hold of him the man’s arms would tighten to try and stop him from breaking away before he could pull off his next attack. ”You are wearing training weights? Impressive.” With his arms locked around the android he of course couldn’t use his Force Palm technique or any other close combat attack that required his hands or feet. Instead he would pull his head back and drive it in hard towards Drexx’s forehead. In all honesty the human wasn’t sure if such an attack would work against him, in fact it might even do more damage to Ark’s forehead depending on how solid the androids frame might be.

Ark's headbutt would do as much damage to the human as it would to the android, the android's head being made of the same strong metal alloys as the rest of his body. The kinetic force behind the attack drove Drexx backwards out of the grip of the human and tumbling through the air. Drexx was impressed that Ark had taken the initiative to go on the offensive. Was it his new transformation, or was it inherent in the human?
Drexx quickly righted himself and charged up his creators aura. He launched the move at Ark, the form of Benjin flying quickly at the human. The sight of Benjin sparked memories within the android of his teacher and creator. Would he be proud of the android? He was doing everything he could to protect the weak and innocent, and that had been what he had wanted right?
Well it had been what he had wanted when he was himself. His creator's multiple personality disorder had been tough to deal with, something Drexx had only discovered a few short years ago. Drexx shook his head to clear the many thoughts. He was in a spar, and this was no time for reminiscing.
How had the human reacted to his move? And had he taken advantage of the android's spacing out.

A small groan comes from the human as his attack lands, the androids skull just as hard as he had expected it to be. Shaking his head some after the blow he was glad that the impact of the hit had knocked Drexx back from him, allowing Ark a couple of seconds to clear his head. As for his suddenly more offensive nature the human wasn’t even really thinking about it, but it was due in part to the rise in his power. Unknown to Ark he was actually one sixteenth Saiyan and the tripling of his power was unknowingly bring out some of the fighting spirit that was tied to that heritage.
Drexx was continuing to impress the human, quickly recovering and launching yet another attack at him. This one took the form of what looked to be a human, the strange image coming right towards Ark as if it held the intent to attack him. A little surprised by the way in which the attack was presented he would throw up his arms, his barrier once again forming around his body. When the blast slams into him it would lack the power the human had thought was behind it, his upraised arms and barrier enough to dissipate most of the blast. Still it would shove him back some, before he glances between his arms, expecting the android to be on top of him.
An eyebrow would raise over one of Ark’s lavender eyes, the android almost seeming distracted as he hovers in the same spot. Up until now Drexx had planned out every attack, executed them perfectly and been ready to counter everything Ark had in turn thrown back at him. Although he didn’t know much about androids he figured Drexx’s brain was closer to a computer than Ark’s own. That was no doubt the reason he was so quick, his analytical brain mostly likely running multiple scenarios and providing the best solution for the current situation. Based on all of this he would assume something was wrong when he sees the android apparently spacing out.
“Are you alright Drexx?” Hovering in the air Ark would cross his arms over his chest, not making any move towards his opponent. Of course he could have landed a blow on the distracted android, but what would that prove about his own skill. If he was going continue the fight against Drexx he wanted to earn whatever outcome might occur.

The voice of the human roused Drexx from his stupor, and he embarrassingly rubbed the back of his head. He chuckled a little before speaking. Surely androids weren't supposed to "space out" as he had done, but Drexx was an unusual case. His mind worked exactly like a computer, analytic and at the speed of light, it was part of the reason he was such a fantastic fighter, he was able to react in mere seconds to the goings-on around him. But even computers experienced pop-ups and buffering.
"Sorry about that, the image of my father brought back some memories..."
The android fell back into a fighting stance and smiled a broad smile at the human. He was enjoying the spar, and could tell the human was as well. He was glad to see Ark was a being of honor, had he wanted to end the fight while the android was distracted he very well could have.
"Sorry about that, ready when you are!" He motioned for Ark to attack. He would let Ark have the next move, as he was curious to see what the human would do when put on the offensive.

“Father? Perhaps in time you will explain to me how an android such as yourself has a father.” There as curiosity in the human’s voice, but it was not his place to ask something personal of a man he had just met. Rolling his shoulders some as his arms fall away from his chest he was indeed ready when Drexx motions for him to come at him. Again, Ark was almost always a defensive fighter, but if the android would give him the opportunity to attack he would, hoping not to disappoint.
Breaking away from his casual stance in the air Ark would rocket towards the android, closing with as much speed as he could muster in the shorter distance between them. As he draws near the human would cock back his right fist as he lines up for a straight shot to Drexx’s stomach. His plan was to put as much momentum behind the blow as he could adding that to his new found strength. Well, that was at least what Ark wanted his opponent to think. In the last couple of months there was a technique the human had been working on. It was not a technique of his own creation and he had gained interest in it by viewing a Namekian sparring match. After a little bit of information gathering he had learned the name of it, Zanzoken.
Drexx seemed highly educated and probably knew of the technique in some form or another, but Ark had not tried to use it yet, never having actually attempted it against someone. If it worked perfectly the image of the human with his fist pulled back remaining in front of Drexx as the true Ark dashes to the side of him. His original fist had been aimed for the androids stomach, so his real attack would choose a different location to target, his right foot snapping up to try and drive into the small of his back, hoping to catch him off guard with the sudden use of a new technique. In the back of his mind though there was a small doubt, would such a technique work against an android, or would he be able to sense Ark no matter how fast he moves?
