A soft click filled the air and Orenji appeared in the small pastry shop. Drexx had his eyes closed, but with his scanners he could see the energy signatures of those in the room. Mia looked over at the Namekian and then to Drexx and winked. Drexx had filled them in all about his friend, and with a nod he confirmed her suspension. Then she put on her best scared old lady face and proceeded to mess with Orenji, making him think that he was terrifying them.

Orenji sat down across the table from Drexx and sighed. Dale looked over at Drexx from behind Orenji's back and gave him a thumbs up then went back to work chuckling to himself.

"Drexx, what have you been doing here?" Orenji asked, Drexx opened his eyes and smiled.

"Orenji, what a pleasant surprise! I came here with a friend, she's asleep right now but i'm sure she'll be out in a few moments...."

Drexx filled in the Namekian on his entire day filled with excitement, the Namekian sat stoically listening and taking it all in. When he had finished Mia walked over and placed down a cup of water in front of the Namekian.

"I understand you don't eat much, but drink a lot of water. Here you go honey if you want more just let me know." She smiled and walked away.

Drexx motioned around the cafe.

"It's a lovely place, these two are some of the best people I've ever known . I saved them a while back and this place has been a second home for me ever since."

He turned towards the doorway and waited expectatly for Eona. He hoped his new friend was feeling better than she had been the day past.

It was so peaceful. The sound of muffled voices filtered through the door and she could only guess that the bakery had already opened. She quietly stood, stretching. She felt wonderful, like she had slept for years. She had no idea how long she had slept, or even what time it was. With a soft yawn, Eona made her way over to the dresser, taking a look at herself in the mirror above it. Her teal hair stuck out in random bits but her skin was flushed with health. The dark circles and pale skin had left her. With a smile, she ran her fingers through her hair to tame it.

Smoothing out her shirt and pants, she opened the door, peeking out. the bakery was empty save for dale, Mia, Drexx, and some strange green man. The new comer's back was to her, giving her a moment to study the strange man. His skin was a dark green and she could see pale pink patches on his arms. He was completely bald and had two antennae on top of his head. It was safe to say that Eona had never seen someone quite like him. Quietly, she stepped into the bakery.

"Good morning," she said softly, turned shy by this newcomer. Drexx seemed to know him, so that at least meant that he was a good man. She shut the door behind her, walking soundlessly across the floor. She hadn't put her shoes back on, giving her more grace to her movements. Eona wasn't used to those type of shoes. She had awaken barefoot and preferred it much more. But as the students at the school informed her, normal humans did not go around barefoot outside. Eona stopped by the table, smiling at the newcomer.

"Hello," she said shyly.

"Hello"

Orenji heard a strange voice behind him, when he turned around he saw a average height pale looking humanoid. With silver eyes and teal hair, also wearing no shoes at the moment, Orenji had never seen some one that looked like this and by the look on her face she had never seen a Namekian. Orenji looked back to Drexx.

"So this must be the person you were telling me about." Turning back around "Good to meet Eona" Orenji said sitting back down across from Drexx

Orenji looked back at Eona still wondering what she was even doing in that alleyway that Drexx had told him about. Maybe it was a good thing Drexx was there otherwise things would have gone differently. Orenji still thinks Drexx's blind trust is going to hurt him someday, but Eona doesn't seem like the person to do anything to Drexx or him. Maybe blind trust is the only way to meet good people.

"So Drexx have you heard from Kazama or Sohko yet? I have been trying to find them as best i can without being caught myself. But I have found nothing so far as to where they are." Orenji said leaning back in his seat.

Drexx rose and smiled as Eona entered the room. Color had returned to the already pale girl and she seemed bright and alive. Drexx walked over and hugged her lightly, making sure not to crush the girl.

"Eona, I'd like you to meet Orenji, Orenji is a very good friend of mine. Orenji this is Eona."

With the formal introductions out of the way, Drexx pulled up a chair for Eona at their table and motioned for Mia to bring her over some food.

"Are you hungry? Mia made food for breakfast but wasn't sure if you would be hungry. Are you feeling better? You certainly look better."

He turned back his attention towards Orenji. He pondered the question. The last time he had seen Kazama had been four years ago at the school. He had seen Sohko more recently, but that had also been over a year ago. He shrugged.

"I haven't seen either of them in a long time. I figured they were together somewhere, they're both capable i'm not too worried."

She smiled, her cheeks turning a soft pink as Drexx hugged her. Eona nodded to Orenji as she sat down in the chair Drexx pulled out for her.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Orenji," she said shyly. He was a very strange creature indeed. Though as staring was rude, she turned her gaze away from him as Drexx spoke to her. She couldn't help but smile and give a soft laugh.

"I'm fine now, don't worry so much. I just needed a full nights rest," she said with a smile, hoping to easy his worry. Drexx seemed like the kind of man who worried about his friends quite a bit. As the two began to speak of who Eona could only guess were their other friends, she leaned back in the chair. Folding her legs under her, she relaxed, letting the sweet serenity of the bakery wash over her. It was so very nice, quiet too. The soft murmur of the people outside, of Dale and Mia behind them. Eona was glad Drexx had brought her here.

"Well Drexx i guess it is a good thing you aren't worried about them, but for all we know both of them could be dead. They better get back here soon." Orenji said looking at Drexx

Orenji looked at Eona when she starting talking to him, he nodded at her acknowledging that he heard her.

"It is good to meet you as well Eona." Orenji said looking at her

Orenji got up from his seat and walked over to the window checking to see if any GSF forces were around. This was something that he has gotten used to doing ever since he has been venturing around the city more. Orenji made sure to check every window before sitting back down at the table.

"So what are you going to do now Eona?" Orenji said leaning back in his chair

Drexx was taken aback by Orenji. In truth he had never considered the fact that their friends might be dead, his blind optimism and faith all but assuring him that they were fine. Still, Orenji had been dead as well, so he said so he saw no reason to worry even if they did happen to be. He stated as such.

"Weren't you dead? Yet you sit there looking alive as ever. If they are dead perhaps they too will find a way back to us, if not then we don't have to worry right?"

Sunlight was streaming through the front windows and the murmur of the city streets filled the shop, happy people going about their happy lives. Orenji stood up and walked over to the window, his eyes scanning the streets, his face pensive, as if searching for something. Drexx raised an eyebrow at Eona, showing his confusion as to what the Namekian was doing.

"Orenji, dear friend, What are you doing?"

The Namekian didn't hear him or didn't deem it necessary to respond, but finished checking every single window that could see into their building. When he was finished he seemed satisfied and made his way back to the table to sit.

"So what are you going to do now Eona?" Orenji voiced Drexx's thoughts as if reading them. The android too had wondered what the young woman was going to do. They had grown into strong friends in a very short time and he would be sad to see her go, but his was a dangerous life and perhaps it would be better for her safety if he wasn't around. He looked over at her and smiled, hoping his eyes conveyed none of the other emotions he felt.

"I was curious as well, are you going to head back to the school or do you perhaps have other plans?"

The way they spoke of death so easy confused her. Wasn't death something to be mourned? And what was this about Orenji being dead? That was impossible, unless he was a ghost or spirit or something. Was he? That might explain how he suddenly came in without making a noise. Eona was even more curious about the green man before her. If she touched him, would her hand pass right through? Or was he able to make himself solid? How was he back, and wouldn't that be a weird thing? Something not to be taken lightly?

She was interrupted from her thoughts as Orenji stood, going to each and every window. She returned Drexx's look of confusion with one of her own, shrugging. Orenji was quite a strange one. Maybe it had to be with him being dead.

She was a bit surprised though when Orenji directed a question at her. What was she going to do now? Return to the school, she supposed. Try to find out who she was. The same things she had been doing since she had awoken in a river near the school. but, maybe she couldn't find her memories at the Crane School. Just because she had awoken there didn't necessarily mean that the answer to her past was there. Maybe it was far away from there? In a distant land, or even a distant planet! But then, how could she know? How could she ever know? How had she gotten to that river then, and why was she there?

Eona sighed, squirming under both Drexx and Orenji's gazes. she didn't really have an answer for that question. She didn't even know it herself. She sighed, turning her gaze to Drexx, the man who had been so kind to her. He was a strange one, but then again, so was she. He had rescued her from those men without even a second thought. Had cared for her, trusted her. And she for him. In all honesty, she wanted to stay right here forever. But, she couldn't. With a small, almost sad smile, she stood.

"I suppose, that I'll do some traveling... Try to find out who I am," she replied.

Orenji was sitting back waiting for Eona to answer the question, but he noticed that she was giving him a strange stare. Orenji wasn't surprised about this, Eona hadn't seen a namekian before so it was understandable for her to be giving him weird looks. Orenji began to remember to comments that Drexx had said about him dying and coming back, something that Orenji had never thought possible.

"I suppose, that I'll do some traveling... Try to find out who I am," Eona replied

"Traveling is always a good way to find out certain things about your past. I hope that you eventually find what you are looking for when ever you decide to travel." Orenji said

Orenji looked at Eona and saw that she was a very innocent looking person and obviously didn't know everything that was going on right now. It is a good that she looks human otherwise she would have to hide like Orenji had been doing. Orenji needed to get off of Earth again and head back to Namek there was something there that he was interested in. But there was always time for that later.

"So Eona Drexx told me everything that happened yesterday, and I was wondering why didn't you just fight your way out of it. By what i am sensing it seems like you are capable enough to fend off a couple of humans." Orenji said getting up form his seat and walking over to a window once again checking for GSF forces.

Drexx didn't hear anything Orenji had said, he was lost in his own little world. Finding out who she was. that was a noble goal. He himself had spent years doing that exact thing. The things he had dealt with on that journey though... did he think she would be able to handle those things? What if she was tortured like he had been? What would that do to the innocent being standing in front of him. But she was strong, stronger than she knew, probably stronger than he knew as well. Drexx shook the cobwebs out of his head and smiled at Eona.

"I think that's a terrific idea. I hope you find what it is you're looking for." He too stood, his smile fading slightly at the thought of leaving.

"Just know that if you ever need help, if you ever need anything, just call me okay? I'll come as quickly as I can."

He embraced her one again. This time he held on for longer, not wanting to let her go but knowing he had to.

"It had been my pleasure to meet you Eona. I will forever call you friend."

If androids could cry he felt as if he would. He released her from his grasp and walked over to Orenji.

"I think it's best we get going, you seem to be paranoid." Drexx himself looked out the window to see if there were any GSF forces. "Would you like a ride back to the school Eona? Our Namekian friend here can conveniently teleport. "

"Thank you, Orenji," she said with a smile. Eona stood, about to go back to the room to retrieve her shoes when the namekian spoke again. This time about her run in in the alleyway. What does he sense?

"I don't know how to fight, actually... I don't very much like it either," she said with a soft shrug. It was true. Despite what she may have been before losing her memory, Eona wasn't the type to lash out and hurt another. It didn't matter that she didn't know how to fight, she would just rather not. Drexx was next to surprise her as he took her into his arms, wishing her luck. With a soft smile, she hugged him back tightly.

"Thank you Drexx... I will forever call you mine as well," she said softly. Pulling away, Eona went back into the bedroom, slipping on her shoes once more. She had quite a walk to get back to Yanzabit Heights. But maybe...maybe she would go somewhere else first. Maybe she had learned all she could at the school. She wanted to do some traveling after all. Maybe it was time for her to begin that.

She came out to find both men peering out the window. When Drexx mentioned a ride back to the school, Eona shook her head.

"That is very kind of you, but I think I need to make my own path now," she said softly. Eona walked over to Drexx and placing a hand on his shoulder, went up on her tip toes to brush her lips gently across his cheek. She turned, doing the same to Orenji. She stepped back, opening the door.

"Thank you again, I hope I see you both soon," she said. And with that, Eona slipped through the door and onto the streets.
