Cargo was flying through the sky with nothing to do. He wasn't in the mood for anymore meditation, he was in the mood for a battle. Cargo lands and begins to walk the plains with a sense of peace and excitement. There was always people training or sparring in the quiet plains, but Cargo wanted neither. That is when he saw a warrior who no doubt possessed power greater than his own.
This warrior had a vibe coming off of him that was as if he believed he was the greatest namekian ever. His white martial arts gi shining brightly in the sunlight. Cargo knew that this was the warrior to challenge, this was the warrior to bother, and this was the warrior that would spare nothing in battle. Cargo wanted fun and to get a rise out of this warrior and that's exactly what he was gonna get.
Cargo fires a ki blast right on side of the warrior and kicks up a little dirt.
"Hey you, you seem like a more than capable warrior. How about me and you have a little fun and go a few rounds?"
Cargo stares at the warrior and easily makes his aura flare as he power up to about half his full power level.

Basna had exiled himself into the Quiet Plains so he could think clearly. The Guru had denied him the power he seeked and sent him on some kind of moral test. Somehow, Basna was supposed to learn something about himself and be more respectful. He was standing idly without moving a single muscle. The wind blew and the blue grass danced while his white martial arts clothing fluttered. His eyes were steadily focused on the ground, trying to make himself change. His his brows furrowed and nose wrinkled. This is stupid! He thought.
I’m me, and nobody can change that…
Suddenly, a disturbance arose. Basna’s antennae twitched once, detecting the attack. He didn’t move though, he could feel the blast wasn’t aimed directly for him. Instead, it smashed against the ground near him and lifted dirt and dust in the air. He squint his eyes and slowly gazed behind.
"Hey you,” the man said, “you seem like a more than capable warrior. How about me and you have a little fun and go a few rounds?"
The man was a namekian wearing a purple martial arts gi with white shoulder pads, a cape and a matching turban overhead. His expression seemed sharp and serious, but Basna scoffed anyway. He had just gotten out of a fight, and fighting this guy wasn’t going to get him Elder Carnel’s approval –it was pointless.
“I don’t have time to play with you…” he said, dismissing the man without another word to spare and turned his back once again. He wore the Namekian Warrior Caste symbol on his back and upper left chest. Basna focused steadily on the ground, pretending the man had left him be and started pondering once again. Fighting wasn’t going to help him right now.

"Your on a planet where we just train and meditate and you don't have time? Sounds like someone has rubbed you the wrong way. Either way, we are going to fight and your going to enjoy it."
Cargo throws hi turban and cape down to the ground. He cracks his knuckles and rotates his neck. It was obvious that being at half strength would not attract his attention, so he need to raise it just a bit more. Again his aura flared as he raised his power level to about eighty percent of his full power.
"Now come on! Don't be a wuss!" Cargo notices the warrior caste symbol on the warriors back and smiles. "It's strange to see someone from the Warrior Caste turn down a challenge. Hmph, I doubt the leader of the warrior caste would approve."

Unfortunately Basna’s statement was for naught as the namekian continued to bug him and insisted on a battle. His antennae began to twitch nervously again, he tried to restrain his temper and ignore the man. Maybe he’ll go away, he thought, but the constant knowledge of the obnoxious man’s presence kept Basna from concentrating on the matter at hand. Everytime he tried to ignore him and think about Carnel’s words his subconscious reminded him that there was a living life-form standing right behind him, staring, and trying to interact with him.
Basna gazed back again with a puckered face. The namekian had removed his cape and turban, lifting more dust from the ground and interrupting his thought process with even more unnecessary noise. His power rose, and although Basna would’ve normally been interested, all he could think of now was obtaining the power Guru could provide. It was already made clear that Elder Carnel wasn’t looking for a strong fighter who could win battles, he was looking for something else –and although this fighter seemed capable and surprisingly rivaled his own strength, he had no interest; there was no point. Basna would only take the path closest to his goal and this man wasn’t in it.
The namekian started tempting him and provoking with degrading words. Basna stared idly and steadily without a word, his gaze telling the man to leave. But then he started talking about the Namekian Warrior Caste and how their leader wouldn’t approve of Basna’s behavior. He snickered…
Poor fool, he thought. Unaware that he was speaking to the Master himself. He couldn’t stop thinking how he thought that all namekians did was fight. What are they, saiyans!? Since Elder Carnel, the people of Namek had started devoting themselves on other practices –like farming. He didn’t know all the details, but supposedly they were being traded across the universe for other goods of which he was unaware. In his mind it was just another example of how foreigners have been taking advantage of the namekian’s many gifts. Meanwhile, they weren’t being recognized for any of it. All the glory in history still sided with saiyans and humans, while namekians only had a history of villainous entities and pushovers.
Basna turned to face the man completely. His eyes fixated on his and focused. His antennae twitched with disdain. “I’m really not in the mood for this…” he repeated.

"I'm really not in the mood for this."
Cargo relaxed his aura and decided to walk towards the warrior and stand directly beside him without actually looking at the warrior.
"I can see that any attempt at provoking you is flawed and pointless. Your mind is not focused on battle. Please disregard my previous comments, that was just my urge to have a battle to distract me. I had no means of disrespecting you by the way. I just wanted to actually have a challenge with my fellow brother. I can sense something is bothering you, mind telling me what?"
Cargo had just confused himself with how quickly his entire demeanor changed in an instant. The true nature of the namekian people began to take over Cargo. He hated how he could turn over into such a peaceful person at the blink of an eye. He wanted to experience true anger, true hatred, but the way he was truly meant to be always come through. Noe here he was, picking a fight to only turn around and offer assistance if he could.
"Typical Cargo."

The namekian powered down and leisurely walked up beside Basna. His squint eyes followed him cautiously, observing any sudden movements he might make. But the man did nothing but talk:
"I can see that any attempt at provoking you is flawed and pointless.” He started. “Your mind is not focused on battle. Please disregard my previous comments,” he said, “that was just my urge to have a battle to distract me. I had no means of disrespecting you by the way. I just wanted to actually have a challenge with my fellow brother. I can sense something is bothering you, mind telling me what?".”
Basna’s stagnant stare hadn’t faltered. This man’s behavior was questionable and confusing, he hadn’t bought it for a second –or maybe he really did have a change of heart. He squint his eyes.
“There’s nothing you can do,” he replied bluntly, “this is something only I can do…”
He looked away and focused on the ground again. He kept thinking over Carnel’s words over and over again…
"Basna... I wish for you to go. You have impressed me, but you still have to purify your soul further. Please, return to me when you believe you have learned how to do this –and a tip... Treat others good."
Basna grit and clenched his teeth. He felt he knew what he had to do, but he didn’t want to. His hands closed tightly into a fist, his puckered face hidden from the namekian’s view. When was it that Basna became like this? He was always hot-headed and out-going, but now he was more of a jerk than anything. In fact, he seemed to resemble Cymbal quite a bit… Or was it the fusion with his father that caused the change in personality? Even as Bass he was cocky. He thought he could overcome anything, but not like this…
“Thank you for your concern…” he uttered with restraint. He turned to face the namekian, now smiling through his teeth. “Maybe I ‘could’ use a little spar… is that offer still open?”

Cargo waited patiently on the warrior's answer. The warrior truly seemed to be bothered. It was unlike something Cargo had ever seen. It was an internal struggle of dynamic proportions. Cargo then doubted that he would get an explanation, but if he didn't it was fine. All Cargo truly wanted was peace in the minds, hearts, and souls of his brothers.
"There's nothing you can do. This is something only I can do." The warrior looked toward the ground with a facial expression that was unreadable. Cargo took this as a sign to leave and began to walk away. However he would be stopped by words from his brother.
"Thank you for your concern."
The warrior looked at Cargo and forced out a smile.
"Maybe I could use a little spar... is that offer still open?"
Cargo smiled back at the warrior. He was not expecting the warrior to fight him nor try to be nice to him. He seemed to have a lot on his mind and the fact that he was pushing through it to give Cargo his previous request delighted Cargo. Cargo looked at the warrior now with a grin on his face. Cargo released his full power with ease and speaks to the warrior.
"Li my tropoli" (Yes my brother)
OOC: When I say brother I don't mean brother brother, but you get it right. It's just another way of saying my fellow namekian and everything.

The namekian grinned widely when Basna reconsidered the fight. Does this count as being nice? He wondered. The point wasn’t fighting, but fighting to please his brother. The man’s power rose to the roof once more at full power. Apparently Basna was given the first move.
He closed his eyes and his own power began to peak at full power. Engaging the fight took his mind out of all previous thoughts and doubts, his frustration was gone for the moment and he had a fresh new slate to concentrate only on this impending fight with promise. He felt like an epic struggle was about to unfold, a fight probably even better than that Nahlin guy. Basna’s white aura flared and swirled around him, the blue grass pointing away from the namekian as they flowed with the wind currents that surged from his body and power.
Basna opened his eyes –but this time, a third had appeared on his forehead. Basna’s hidden third eye. It had been some time since he used the technique and it provided a much wider and keener panorama of his surroundings. Normally, he could only see his opponent and vaguely peer overhead. But with the third eye, he could see the sky and the clouds as well as his opponent without having to refocus his pupils. People always thought that having more than two eyes would be like separate windows, but in reality, the vision overlaps and becomes one image. Only people who have experienced it can truly understand how it works.
Despite having his worries momentarily lifted, he was mellow and stern. His face unchanging and neutral; once they were both done powering up, Basna extended his hand forward and launched a few ki blasts at the namekians feet. The purpose wasn’t to harm him though. The ground before the man would become leveled and raise a cloud of debris in the air, which limited and hindered his opponent vision. Immediately after, Basna’s same extended hand tensed for a moment. Using his telekinetic powers, the small airborne rocks that rose as a result of his first attack were then launched into the cloud of smoke, where the namekian was implied to be.

The warrior powers up easily and Cargo is overwhelmed at the site of his power. There was no doubt that this was going to be a fun fight. The smiling face died quickly though as ki blasts came towards Cargo. Cargo foolishly placed up his guard as the ki blasts crashed into the ground in front of him. Dust quickly rose in front of Cargo blurring his vision. Suddenly, small rocks shot through the dust towards Cargo. Cargo quickly uses his telekinesis, but a few of the rocks still hit.
"My turn!"
Cargo forced all of the rocks back at the warrior. He would use his Zanzoken to appear above the dust cloud and fire a slew of ki blasts.

Basna’s first attack played out nicely, despite his little rocks being tossed back at him. He activated his energy barrier, extending his hand forward; a blue translucent screen of energy formed and protected his body from damage. The rubble and debris rebounded off with short sparks. They rolled like the consecutive sound of rainfall. His antennae twitched, detecting a flux of energy, meaning his opponent was making a move.
Almost instantly after, the namekian appeared above the cloud of smoke and launched a barrage of ki blasts. Basna saw this coming from a mile away. With his third eye, he was already on his range of vision and didn’t have to react and waste time looking up. The shield faded. Raising his hand, he repelled all the ki blasts, redirecting them left and right as he slapped them away with his right arm and sent the last orb of energy straight back to its source.
It didn’t end there though. Basna arced and spread his feet. Right behind the sphere of energy, heading straight towards the other namekian, was Basna’s outstretched arm. Open palms ready and aiming for the ankles of his airborne challenger. Once he had a tight grip he’d, he intended to pull down and slam his opponent back on the ground, within the rising dust. His arm lets go of the ankle and retracts, promptly after, unleashing his own slew of ki blasts at the fallen opponent.

Cargo assumed the ki blast would make there impact due to the nice execution, but this was not the case. The warrior quickly and easily slapped all of the ki blasts away. However, on the last ki blast he smacked it straight back towards Cargo. Thinking quickly Cargo blocked the oncoming blast, but he couldn't have predicted the clutch he was now locked in. The warrior had stretched his arms to grab the ankles of Cargo. A powerful tug would soon follow, but Cargo extended his legs as much as possible to keep himself from crashing into the ground. This would prove meaningless as the hold was released and ki blasts quickly followed.
Cargo's first thought was to try and dodge, but what fun would that be. Cargo placed up his guard as the ki blast hit. Cargo would use the smoke created from the impact to slip down into the dust cloud. After slipping into the dust cloud he charges towards the warrior, but quickly uses his zanzoken to vanish and reappear behind the warrior. He would then attempt to throw a back elbow followed by a roundhouse kick to the temple. Cargo knew he was a bit outmatched, but it didn't mean he couldn't give his brother a decent fight.

The namekian was skillful and used the smoke created as residue from his ki blasts to momentarily conceal his movements, but he never really escaped Basna’s frame of view as he charged forward. Basna was squared down in his stance ready to apprehend and counter the other’s assault when his antennae twitched again as the announcing harbinger of following events. His opponent disappeared from plain sight, using a move Basna knew all too well. He had experienced this move quite a few times and knew what was coming next.
Unfortunately, knowing what came next didn’t always mean he could avoid it; but rather, embrace it. He gasped, feeling the namekian’s elbow pressed against his back. Basna rolled forward with the push of the force, evading the round-house kick that followed.
Basna propped his hands on the ground as he fell and used it to impulse his backward rising-kick to the chin. Whether he hit or not, his body would continue the circular motion until he made a somersault back to his feet. He immediately turned without warning and dashed at the namekian challenger with fists cocked back and thrust at the thorax with tightly clenched fingers. Basna wouldn’t let his opponent rest. A smile slowly grew on his ostensibly humble frame –yet not so humble, he followed up with a second thrust of his left hand and the attack then turned to an elbow strike to the cheekbone with his right, twisting his entire body with the motion of the attack. His body then twist to the other side as he lift his knee to the man’s crotch.
The onslaught would continue for as long as the other namekian was incapable of breaking out. Every move was accompanied by a warrior’s yell.

Cargo's elbow landed perfectly. However, after the elbow the warrior rolled forward and placed his hands on the ground and launched a backward rising-kick aimed at Cargo's chin. Cargo quickly placed his hands on top of each other under his chin with the palms facing toward the kick. Cargo would then press down using the force of the kick to sprout him up into the air a bit. He landed back to the ground rather quickly on the hear a yell and feel what was like an open palmed strike. Then an elbow suddenly came smashing into the side of Cargo's face. A knee was then rising up towards Cargo's crotch, but Cargo swung his right arm around and smashed an elbow into the knee to counter the blow. Cargo then did a trio of back flips in order to create space.
" I've never faced someone with your kind of skill. You are on a completely different level. Too bad giving up isn't in our blood."
Cargo smiles as a bit of blood can be seen on his lip. He then rushes in toward the warrior with a mission to land at least one blow. He uses his Zanzoken once more as e grew closer to the warrior. The plan was to try and get the warrior to think that he was trying to go behind him again, but actually he was going to appear smack dead in front of him. Cargo would launch a rising head butt under the jaw of the warrior. He would then attempt a decent combo. The combo would consist of a jab to the face followed by right knee to the abdomen, and he would then end it with a leg sweep to try and knock the warrior over just a bit. If that worked he would then try and fire a ki blast to the face.

Basna scoffed, feeling unsatisfied with Cargo’s block of his rising kick. As soon as his feet touched the ground, he raced after his opponent without delay as he was still landing. His fist purged through and slammed away at the thorax, followed by the second. His body then twists and rammed his right elbow to his face. But when he tried to land the knee, his adversary was quick to block and flip backwards to create distance. Basna grinned. He managed to get three blows out of five –which was pretty good, he thought.
Blood dripped down the namekian’s lips. Basna thought he’d clean himself up, but the man charged forward instead. His antennae twitched. His eyes dilated. “He’s doing it again!” He thought. But as he was about to turn and counter his opponent’s attack, he was met with a surprising head-butt under the chin. Basna’s face jerked back with the force of the attack as he coped with the confusion of what had just occurred. Blood flowed out of his mouth, he had bitten his lip. He moaned in pain.
Before Basna could react though, the stunning pain and surprise left him immobile while his challenger proceeded with a jab to the face. Basna’s body jerked again towards the opposite line of attack and then bent over with a knee to the gut. He grunt as saliva sprayed out of his mouth. The pain of his abdomen spread throughout his body like a plague and momentarily paralyzed his entire body as every fiber started telling him to react. The namekian had dropped down to the floor, attempting to sweep Basna down to the ground with a swift low kick.
Basna, however, had other plans. His rapid-movement had been activated when he jumped over the attack. Midair, his right hand was cocked behind and rest on the waist as a blue orb of concentrated energy buzzed to life. The sphere was the size of a namekian’s head and as he thrust it down at Cargo’s face, it popped open into a wide range attack that would engulf the man’s body and send him flying back a few feet. The burst of energy roared, promptly fading after only a few seconds. It was as the name implied, ‘Energy Burst’ a burst of concentrated energy released altogether in one blow.

Cargo went in with his attacks as the fake worked perfectly. The head butt collided with tremendous force causing the warrior's head to jerk back as blood trickled from his lip. It seemed he had bitten down on it and it caused him to moan out in pain. The jab came fast and swift giving the warrior no time to regain himself. His head jerked back once more and a knee crashed into the abdomen making the warrior slouch over the blow. Saliva flew out of his mouth as the pain shot through his body.
Cargo relished in the moment for a split second. That second would come back to bite him as he went for a leg sweep. That is when the warrior's true skill would be exhibited as he leaped into the air to dodge the attack. Cargo would make it back to a full stand only to look up and see the warrior's fist cocked back. An Orb of blue energy quickly came to life around the fist of the warrior. The orb had increased to what seemed like the exact size of Cargo's head and out of nowhere it was driven down into Cargo's face.
The attack was unleashed upon Cargo and seemed like a close range attack when in actuality it was a wide ranged attack. The attack consumed Cargo's body and all you could hear in the blue light was Cargo's screams. The blast sent Cargo flying back skidding across the plain like a rock across water. He would skid and flip land on his stomach. He seemed immobilized as smoke rose from his body. The attack seemed as though it truly injured if not killed Cargo.
Cargo laid there motionless and it was obvious the blast did massive damage. Cargo wasn't unconscious, but he decided to just lay there. He debated on how could he combat someone of this magnitude. It was like he was trained by the leader of the warrior caste himself. Cargo retreated to the depths of his mind for a brief moment.
" I can't believe how strong he is. I... I never faced or sparred against anyone like this before. I was matching him blow for blow, but then he come back with and attack like that. Where did he even learn such an attack. My strongest move isn't even half as good as that. I must learn more, I must see more, and I must attain more."
Cargo slowly crept to his feet as his clothes were now torn and battered. Both his arms hung down as a sure sign of the beginning of the end. Cargo cared not as this was the first time in his life that someone had the ability to make him seem less that what he was or thought he was. His breathing was smooth like at the start of the battle, it was now heavy and rough.
*pant... pant... pant* "I can still keep this spar going if you can."
Cargo inhaled deeply before sliding his feet through the kicked up turn. He bends his knees and assumed his fighting stance once more. He grinned ever slightly as scuff marks covered his face and blood filled his mouth. He reaching out his hand extending to fingers waving them to tell the warrior to bring it.
