Throne Room Nonsense [Suki, Open]

((This is pretty much a character development thread. WTO characters or visitors to planet Kold can pop in and out whenever.))

Blaze had just finished a busy training session with Souka. He had entered the Throne Room to see Suki, but found it empty. He sighed, looking around as he walked over to the throne and looked at it.

Even with nobody to catch him, Blaze wouldn't sit in that chair. Just didn't seem right to him... brought up thoughts of Suki taking a vacation. Suki goes, then Serori does. And ofcoarse Suki's little Irish puppy as well. Who gets left in charge? Well, probly Blaze.

Blaze shuttered; He dreaded that thought. He would much rather hide in a cave up in the mountains for a week then try to run the WTO. He had told Suki that once... Maybe that's why Blaze is still Suki's advisor. Did... Suki actually trust him?

Blaze walked around to the right side of the throne and popped open a small compartment; Inside was a book and a pen. Blaze took them, closed it, and leaned up against the throne, his feet resting on the steps leading up to its side.

The book was Blaze's personal Journal. He wrote in it almost every day, and kept it in that place. Only he, Suki, and the puppy dog knew of it's existence... And if that damn Boki ever as much as looked at it wrong, Blaze would drag his sorry ass around the palace and back again.

He dated the top of the journal. Today I had to deal with that Bio-Android that was raising hell on Nor. His assistant, Souka isn't too bad of a person though. I trained with him as well. He's a formidable foe, at five per cent power, anyway. Makes me sort of regret this form, I must suppress my power to train with people. Except Suki. I hit him with everything I've got and can't even scratch him. He's powerful, but the guy needs to learn a few things yet before that power will mean anything.

Pushing his thoughts aside, Blaze wrote a few more things into his Journal. He was alone for a bit, but then someone else arrived...

Suki had seen Boki and C.haos out. It was important to him that their mission go well, and so he watched the ship fly off. Of course leaving Kold was the easy part. They did not need his assistance to break air space and continue on their journey, but Earth was filled with tricky obstacles. He had not ordered them to fight, or harm anyone, but if they uttered even a word of his name, the earthlings would no doubt end their life. Not to mention Geurin had the Golden saiyan. That Golden saiyan had nearly ended Suki's life in his fourth transformation.

Suki shuddered at the thought, closing the doors to the main hall and walking back inside. The guards off to the side walls began to salute.

Whatever

Suki had grown far less royal over the years. He couldnt care less whether or not people saw him as a ruler, or anything of the like. Realistically his expectations had dropped considerably, and if not for Serori other planets would not have become inhabited by the WTO. No suki had not made a decision for himself since the Ritoru incident, and as he watched C.haos leave, he realized that again this was the only decision he had made.

"Fuck this"

He said openly as he walked down the hall. Lord Yakedo had taken to randomly blurting obscenities. It was not unlike him, and the little four letter words brought him some sort of solace.

Glaecer had been standing just ahead from the mass of crowd that had been saluting the not so young emperor, in truth Glaecer was waiting. He had sensed some unease in the lord’s brain and he thought this would be the best time to confront Suki about the events that had lead up to his joining of the World Trade Organisation.

He heard the Foots step of Suki heading towards him and as he grew nearer he slipped into one of the darken corridors that suki would soon pass. Suki walked past just as he had expect and he heard the young emperor blurt out some obscenities, Glaecer spoke while the emperor was in ear shot
“Rather vulgar language for someone of such great prestige?”

Glaecer stepped out from the corridor into site behind Touketsuki
“Do I detect some unrest in your thoughts Yakedo? No that's impossible why would such a great emperor have such excessive uncertainties, I mean you’re the strongest creature in the universe, aren’t you?”

Glaecer had decided to play off Touletsuki's mental unrest by using a combination of compliments, implanted doubts and honorifics before asking Suki about the events Glaecer was interested in.

Blaze thought someone was coming into the room. But it turned out to be someone in the hall talking loudly. Blaze thought about getting up to go see what was going on... but after a moment, he figured he'd stay put and wait for Suki.

“Rather vulgar language for someone of such great prestige?”

Some would call it a snap, and true Suki was more than capable of completely losing his mind at any given moment. But this was but a minor episode, if he had truly snapped, the would would have come to an end that day.

Viciously turning to face his verbal attacker, Glaecer continued to speak, Suki paying no attention to who he was, or what he was doing here. By now suki was used to the nonsensical babbling of Glaecer, he had all the Icer attitude without the bite that Suki possessed, and at least in that capacity Suki could understand him. But his words cut in deep as Suki retorted.

"Why does everyone speak to me as if I am a commoner!"

His power level instantly skyrocketed well past his simple 10k that he sat on in order to keep his anger under control, firing up to nearly 150k for a single attack, if even you could call it that. His shout was backed by Kinetic energy, and blew forward in Glaecers direction, knocking over nearly everything in that side of the room, and even cracking the wall. Cracking the wall was no easy feat because of the renovations Suki had put in so that those who wished to cause trouble in his throne room, would not ultimately destroy his lair...even if that person was Suki himself.

Once the blitz was over, Suki was left breathing heavily, his mind coming back to where it was supposed to be. He was fed up with the disrespect coming from his subordinates. First Souka thought he was Blaze, then C.haos spoke so candidly, and Blaze treated him like a child. Glaecer was but the icing on the verbal cake that caused Suki's outburst.

Of course being a member of the Tore Squad Glaecer would not be killed or even seriously injured. So regardless of what had happened to him, after a short moment of silence, and Suki regaining composure, turning back towards his throne (Which was now on its side from his kinetic outburst) saying simply...

"Yes...I am"


Walking slowly over to the throne, placing his left hand on it and pulling it back into place, the short Icer sat down exhaling and looking back at Glaecer.

"What do you need Jikken"

[Glaecer]

Glaecer hypothesis had been proven. Suki outburst had shown that but luckily Glaecer had assumed his lack of respect would cause something like this all week he could feel Suki’s brain waves where in sporadic and uncontrollable. The young emperors outburst has only driven Glaecer back a few metres as his feet had been braced it had left six large gashes in the floor.

“You assume that respect is defined by people admiring you, this is completely the wrong the true sign of respect is when people are comfortable with talking to you like…how did you word it a ‘commoner’ you’re on your way to being a great emperor but you must not look down on people” Glaecer explained walking towards Suki again and brushing off some pieces of rubble as the emperor sat down.

“What do you want Jikken” Suki asked
Glaecer expression changed

“I want to know why? I single handily attack your ship in fact if you had not intervened your crew would be dead and your ship a heap of rubble, and yet you still put me in your ranks close to the people you hold dear” Glaecer was of course referring to Serori and all the other that were of importance to Suki and one way or another Glaecer was going to find out what suki’s plans for him were.

Glaecer's words were rather ignorant. Suki's position in society was higher than that of someone who worked the fields, or sold goods in the bazaar. Those common workers, or commoners, did not demand the respect that Suki did, and so as the days went by and yet still these men chose to be so condescending, the disrespect would only be tolerated so much.

But of course Glaecer had asked an interesting question, one that likely would have been asked many years ago had it not been for the fact that Suki openly avoided the other Icer. He knew exactly why the test tube icer was still alive, and more importantly on his own team, and he would spare no words.

"Aice Rikkei Goto"

That was all he needed to say, the professor whom had saved his life, and given him a better means for accessing his hidden power. Certainly Glaecer knew Aice well, hell for the first few months after the incident Aice was the only person Glaecer saw. But suki continued, going into further detail.

"He is rather fond of you for reason's I cannot personally understand. If it were me, you would have been left to die that day and the universe would know nothing more about you. But Aice trusts you, again for reasons that escape my reasoning. Aice is my only remaining, and most loyal companion, and so if he wants someone like you on his team, then by all means"

It was true, his original team had been Gurin and Aice. This was followed by Caius and Jorlaxl, and finally Serori. Boki joined at a much later date and so at the start of his worldly campaign, He holy had a few loyal fighters, and Aice had been one of them. Putting his life in danger even when Suki could have handled things on his own. Bravely facing Ikezu, and even developing a mecha suit in the off chance that Suki ever needed immediate medical attention. The amount of respect Suki held for Aice was immense, and so when he pleaded with Suki for Glaecer's life, there was little suki could say other than...he is your responsibility.

"If that is all, I really ought to be getting some rest"

He said, turning away from the audacious Icer, and beginning to walk further down the hallway.

[Blaze]

Blaze stood from beside the throne, moving around it and sitting on top of the arm rest. "If it doesn't trouble you much, I had a question myself, Lord Suki."

Blaze had his arms crossed, and was looking down at the floor. "May I ask... what... is your ultimate goal in life?" He asked, looking up at Suki with the last few words. Simple question, one that anyone would likely be able to guess. But Blaze... wanted to see for himself what kind of person he was really facing.

He didn't want Suki to disregard the question with a laugh or just walk off, so Blaze kept his eyes locked on Suki, awaiting to link with his own. Blaze really wanted to know.

As if his apparent displeasure was not intense enough, Blaze had appeared during his talk with Glaecer and begun asking Suki about...his...goals?

Such a random thought only caused the Icer more frustration. He had not wanted to talk with others, and his medication was particularly harsh on his thoughts today. But Blaze looked fairly persistant, and Suki knew not answering now would only cause him trouble later.

"The World Trade Organization will unify the universe under one rule"

That was it. There was not a big speech prepared or a long explanation. Suki had a rather simple sentence prepared for such a question. He would bring the WTO to the top of the war lord food chain, and be recognized as the sole authority of the universe.

Simple enough right?

[Blaze]

"The World Trade Organization will unify the universe under one rule"

Blaze looked down at the floor in front of Suki now. He nodded, but then shrugged. "But... what does that mean?" He slid off the arm rest to his feet, and took a couple steps. He was thinking. "Does that mean peace for the universe? The elimination of your enemies? Or... just more power for you?"

Blaze turned again to Suki. "Your answer is great for the masses. The commoners. But some of us like to know what we're fighting for." Blaze shrugged again and nervously looked off to the side. But he forced himself back to those red eyes.

"I don't ask for much, just please give me an honest answer." Blaze said with sincerity, his face was of concern. Not just for himself, but for Suki and his own confused psyche. He was worried that even Lord Suki may not know what he truly wanted.

Blaze wanted an honest answer, and unfortunately he had already recieved it. Suki didnt have any long term goals. His goal in the past had been conquer and his spread of power, but as the years went by, spreading his force seemed more and more trivial.

"I suppose a little of all three"

He said frankly, turning back towards the hallway and continueing his walk. His tail trailing lifelessly behind him. The Icer had his fill of questions and interrogations for today. He would continue walking out, only to likely be stopped by further questions.

God how he hated being questioned.

[Glaecer]

Suki had finally explained it, just as he had suspected it was simply because Aice was fascinated with what made him tick and wanted to study him more. Needless to say Glaecer was disappointed he had hoped that such a obvious answer would not be the right one. Blaze and now piped up and Asked something as well.

"May I ask... what... is your ultimate goal in life?"

Suki had explained to Blaze that the world trade would unify the universe, but the true intention were still un know and as Suki explained the he wished to achieve both war and peace for his own mean of obtaining more Power Glaecer butted up.
“Young Emperor I can assure you that war will not bring unification to the universe” Glaecer let that hang in the air for a second before finally saying

“Your Father knew that Yakeado but do you?” Glaecer departed on that final word leaving Blaze and Suki alone.

Glaceier had said exactly what Blaze had been planning on saying himself. He watched Glaecer disappear out an exit as the words lingered in the air. Blaze wasn't sure how Suki would take them. Yet Blaze spoke himself.

"Bold statement from one who disappears after." Blaze looked back towards Suki again."I have never heard anything about your father, Lord Suki... but unfortunately... I would have to agree with him and Glaecer."

He was expecting one of two reactions from Suki. A laugh at simple, pointless words, or anger... at the truth. Regardless, Blaze continued. "Three people telling the same fate. Three of your own kind. It is impossible for there to be no truth to this."

Now would have been a good time to make an exit, like Glaecer. But Blaze didn't think leving would send the same message. "Think on why those words are true, my Lord. And know... that though they're true now... they can be proven wrong in the future. But it won't be by amplifying your current methods, unfortunately." Blaze told him.

He could have said more. Could have simply explained why he was destined to fail, and how to avoid it to achieve his goal. But... he had to let the fact of inevitable failure sink in first.

"You are both...ignorant"

They had finally got suki's attention, and in the worst way. Bringing up his father was a very easy way to get blown to pieces, and Glaecer must have known this as he immediately vanished. The coward.

Blaze however stayed put, even continuing to encourage the peace and unity of the worlds, and to this Suki could only shake his head. For an adviser Blaze was not very bright as to how the real world actually worked. As they spoke several things were happening that were out of their control, but more importantly there were many things happening that were within their control. However until they influenced everything, war would continue.

"Tell me then Blaze. If I do not conquer what will happen? The saiyans will stay at home, as will that bastard Geurin. You think everyone can govern their own feudalistic nations without spilling into each others territory....No you are very much wrong, as was my foolish father."

Turning back around to face the Icer Suki's face was far less like one who was bothered, but now one that seemed determined, perhaps a side Blaze had not yet seen from him.

"Clearly there are worse evils than I out there. If there were not, I would have taken over by now. Perhaps I was foolish in starting a war I did not understand, but now I am very much involved, and to leave now would mean the death of millions across the universe...wouldnt equal peace be....grand...But that is not the interest of Boliko, or Geurin...And it was only a matter of time before my parents foolish ignorance caught up to them. They should have known better."

After that rather long winded response, Suki was more than willing to wait for Blazes retort. He had not said all of that just for his own benefit. If blaze was not on the same mind set that Suki was, they clearly would not be able to work together in harmony. And so a conglomerate thought had to be made.

Blaze listened to Suki's words. He nodded in understanding to them, but Suki had gotten the wrong impression. "Lord Suki... I hadn't said anything about not conquering the galaxy's." He smiled. "Yes, that has to be done. But the issue is how you go about it. If you don't use the right methods... your destined to fail."

This was where Blaze's thoughts likely differed from Glaecer's and Suki's father. Peace could be achieved, but only one banner. But that couldn't be done Suki's way in Blaze's eyes. "Your method seems to be to show up, obliterate all resistance, and take over. Then you gain the peoples loyalty and respect through dominance." Blaze nodded once. "Dominance creates fear. And that fear is what fuels the peoples loyalty towards you. Am I right?" He asked.
